Course is somewhat pretty but alot of it reminds me of a farm that needs to be mowed really bad. Person inside was rude when when we asked a couple questions. Definitely needed more people working food counter on 9/26. Cart rental was most expensive we paid this year at $40 for spectator cart. Was told a practice round was $65.

Amazing course layout with some of the best fairways I’ve played. Greens are in good shape and true throughout. Small but adequate clubhouse with friendly staff

Great golf course, great layout... Played here the first time a few years ago and they had record rain so it was a little wet but overall the course was in great shape and the greens rolled true and quick... Recent visit June 2022 came to play a individual tournament and again great layout, for the most part pretty wide fairways with some decent slope to them, greens have some very good undulation which is great for many pin locations.... Problem this time is the tee boxes haven't been mowed in at least a week, maybe two on some of them and the greens were slow, not mowed or rolled in at least a few days...sad to see this great course not in the condition it should be in and especially in the beginning of summer

This is an unbelievable course. One of the best in the state. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Every hole seems to have a different aesthetic. From wide fairways, wooded par 3’s over a creek, elevated green, carry’s over water doglegs. Definitely worth a trip to Shepherdsville to play.

Course is in really good shape. Really unique blend of mountain golf and open field/farm style golf (if that’s a thing). Pace of play was great. I played as a single and several groups waved me through.

Course has well laid out holes. A par 3 with a 40 foot drop to the green. Very hilly with gas carts. No GPS on the carts , but plenty to see. Only would have been better if the rain would have held off.

Loved the experience. They were able to get us out despite the fact that we hadn't made a tee time. It's a beautiful course - very picturesque. The sand traps were a little hard packed and the greens had quite a few ball marks that patrons didn't repair well. We really enjoyed the day. The staff were all very polite and helpful.

Great course. Really good layout. 5 stars if the bunkers would have been groomed at all. Greens were too slow, but a lot of rain in the area lately. Also, on course marshal needed to push extremely slow players who have no interest in allowing smaller groups to play thru. Monday afternoon shouldn't be waiting 4+ minutes on every tee box.

What an amazing course. We have played there for the last 5 years or so. The course has always been in fantastic shape. This year it’s just about perfect. Would be perfect if folks would fix their ball marks more on the greens. The layout is both beautiful and just about a perfect course. ( Not getting paid by them. Haha). We played TPC Scottsdale last year and that course, though very different as a dessert course in Arizona, was not in anyway better than Heritage in quality golf. Good people are running it too.

Love the staff, taken care of our future golfers. Golf camp this week! Learning respect, of the one who is getting ready to hit, not stand in someones line or cast a shadow and integrity. Leaving the coarse better than we found it. Repairing the divots. Filling holes with sand.

If there were more stars I would give them. One of the best courses we've played. Every tee box we were treated with a beautiful view. The course is extremely well maintained and the fairways are beautifully striped. The staff is excellent. Can't wait to come back up here and play again.

Beautiful course that was in very good shape even though the greens had recently been aerated. Very friendly staff and nice practice facility. One hole was closed for repair, but it looked like it would be open soon.

Nice course, good layout. Bunkers needed attention, hard as a rock. We had the second tee time, but couldn’t warm up due to staff not getting in early enough to open driving range prior to our time. Fees are fair for the experience.

Coarse is amazing one of, if not the best layout other than Valhalla. In a 50 mile radius. Unfortunately My experience was les than ok. The tee times are 10 minutes apart so plan on being backed up at least 2 groups on every tee. It took 2 hours and 50 minutes to play the front nine. Tee times should be 13 minutes minimum spacing. Do to their 10 minute spacing the greens are getting destroyed. I have never seen such a nice coarse with nice greens all in all but have never seen so many unprepared ball marks in my 59 years of playing. Also and this is simply my observation but it appeared to be a lot of beginner golfers that was the root cause of all the delays. I would love to make this my home coarse I liked it so much but I would never play again unless I had a 7:30 AM tee time.

It’s the Nevel Meade in the south end of Louisville. Terrific big golf course. Nice driving range, excellent 19th hole staff. Quality food and drinks.

This is an amazing golf course. My dad and I went yesterday and it could not have been a better time to go. We never ran into any other groups or felt pushed by anyone. It’s a great course for a decent price for weekdays. Highly recommended this course. Fairways and greens were in good shape too! Will be coming back soon.

Played this past week for the first time after several recommendations. Absolutely gorgeous course. My game is awful right now, but I loved this place. Hard enough but accommodating. Great work with the natural landscape of the area. Wonderfully maintained fairways and the greens rolled true all day long. Beer was cold, driving range was comped by the attendant, practice green was immaculate. We will be back without question.

Beautiful fall cool day….course was in great shape! Staff are super nice. The only BUT I had Was 4hr and 45 min round! Not sure if it’s the norm but if you are passing through and love to golf it was a great course.

Excellent course and friendly staff. It's very spread out and scenic. Concrete cart paths all the way around and the front 9 feels like you're playing in a nature preserve. Nice driving range too. $5 for 50 balls. Reasonable beer/liquor prices and a nice patio overlooking the course to enjoy it on.

One of the absolute best golf courses in Kentucky. Great value for the cost, for the mid to high level golfer who is willing to pay above fifty bucks. Course is exceedingly Fair, good shots are rewarded, bad shots are penalized. Fairways are wide enough to make it fun for almost all amateurs. Sometimes the greens need to be rolled because they can get a bit bumpy, but overall I love this golf course.

Well maintained and fun layout. There is a good mix of holes with plenty of elevation changes and wide fairways. The greens have a lot of subtle break and are tough to read.

Very nice golf course with exceptional views and great use of elevation changes. I have fun no matter how I am playing that day. The club house is really nothing to speak of, but you won't be disappointed in this golf course. The staff is very attentive.

Played the course on Friday 5/4/18. It was in great condition and the staff was very friendly. The routing of the course was very easy to follow, the greens were in great condition, the fairways were well documented for yardage reference. Highly recommend this gem, looking forward to getting back to Louisville and playing this course again!

Played this course few weeks ago on a golf trip and what a treat. Staff was awesome for our group of 8. We played 27 to kick of the trip. Prices we very reasonable and course was in great shape, even with the rain we had. Highly recommend this track.

Golfed here Saturday evening. Absolutely beautiful course and it’s in amazing shape! The views are to die for! You couldn’t beat the price. Would definitely come back and golf again if I’m ever back in the area! Would highly recommend!

I have been a member there for four years. Great track and the course is usually well manicured. Despite what another reviewer said, course drains well. If there is significant rainfall the day before, then it might be cart path only in the early spring or late fall. This year's weather has been challenging for the grounds crew, but course is still in good shape.

Great course. First time playing. Challenging but not so hard you can't enjoy it. Fairways and green are exactly how they should be. Greens roll true and fast. Customer service is great too. From the cart girl to the pro shop, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Has a putting/chipping and driving range. Beautiful landscape and scenery on the holes you will not be let down. Will definitely be back. The only reason I have 4 stars instead of 5 is they don't have gps. They have plenty of yardage markers but for that price range you would think they would have that but overall love the course and service.

One of the best, if not THE best public course in the state. A little pricey by public course standards but worth playing at least one time. Must have tee times and be on time. Will definitely be back!!

Enjoyed my round there this morning. Beautiful fairways. Most greens we're well maintained. The course layout isn't overly demanding for any skill level. I recommend giving it a try!

I have played here MANY of times since it's opening. I enjoy the layout and challenge. Good course for advanced novices and more seasoned players. Advice: TRACK YOUR BALL! If it's going toward rough, can be hard to find. There seems to be a decline in course upkeep, which could be caused by a lot of factors. Those being, there are a couple of greens that are heavily shaded and, some years, drought in the area. So, for now, I'll keep that factored out of my rating. Check back next year for update.

As good as it gets for a public course. The greens were consistent, the fairways were manicured and the tee boxes were like carpet. This course is deceptive. It seems easy in many spots, but if your tee shot is offline, your ball will be lost in the weeds. I love this course!

This has to be the nicest public course in the Louisville area! Someone else put this 2nd behind Chariot Run because you have to pay for the range, but you DEFINITELY are paying for the range at Chariot Run at $85 per round! You can play at HH for a fraction of that, buy a large bucket and still come out ahead.

Beautiful golf course... EXTREMELY friendly staff.. 2nd best course behind Chariot Run.. I put them 2nd because you have to pay to use the driving range, no gps on the carts, and their greens aren't as fast.. overall beautiful course.. really nice fairways and a nice layout

Always a great time on a beautiful course, but this is the third time in a year that we've been started on the back nine for no apparent reason. This course is best presented in order. Still one of my all time favorite courses.

One of my favorite courses in the louisville area. Only reason I only give four stars is I do think the upkeep, especially the bunkers, has gone slightly downhill. Greens have far too many pitch marks in them and since it is a public course, apparently no one knows how to fix them. Aside from those things, the course is always in inaccurate shape. Lots of elevation changes, some good dog legs, and one of the best par 3's in the state. Also- number 18 is possibly the best view in KY golf.

I really like this course but for the price it holds water like crazy. If it rained the day before expect a swamp. If it's dry its great but you will need several days of no rain for this course to be dry.

I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW ECSTATIC I WAS WHEN I PULLED UP TO THE PARKING LOT. I AM A 3 HANDICAP AND LIVE IN LEXINGTON KY. I AM WRITING IN CAPS BECAUSE THIS COURSE DESERVES IT. I HAVE PLAYED JUST ABOUT EVERY COURSE IN KY INCLUDING VALHALLA AND THIS COURSE FOR THE MONEY IS EVERY BIT AS NICE AS VALHALLA. I BOOKED A TEE TIME ON GOLF NOW FOR 24$. THE FAIRWAYS WERE CUT LIKE A PGA COURSE ALL THE BUNKERS WERE CUT PERFECTLY AROUND THE EDGES. IMMACULATE WILL MAKE THE DRIVE AGAIN AND AGAIN UNTIL I MOVE TOO FAR AWAY. TAKE MY ADVICE AND PLAY THERE EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO DRIVE 2 HOURS. THIS IS BY FAR THE NICEST PUBLIC COURSE I HAVE PLAYED ON IN MY LIFE AND DEFINITELY IS NICER THAN ANY COURSE IN KENTUCKY. A MUST PLAY A++++
