Golf course is always in immaculate condition. Greens fast and pure. Front nine has more of a linksy feel, while the back nine has more land movement and some stunning holes. Staff is great inside and outside. Well worth the price. Best public course within a 50 mile radius

Played 1st out last Tuesday. 1st class operation from beginning to end! Tough but fair track with beautiful views from anywhere on the course. I'll definitely drive 2 hrs to play this course again.

Played 36 and was not disappointed. Off of the beaten path but well worth it. Links style with very fast green (12’s when I played). Friendly staff with nice amenities.

This is my second round here (first one was back in October 2017), and this is one of my favorite courses when visiting Louisville. The course itself is amazing, and in great conditions. But the staff is even better. Both times, after the round, I've had to use their clubhouse shower prior to heading to the airport and they have always been very accommodating with everything I needed from towels, toiletries, etc. Can't speak highly enough of this facility.

Incredible course in a secluded part of southern Indiana. Links style and rather difficult but not overly so. They had it in great shape and the best part was they didn't overcrowd it, although part of that is probably because it's 45 minutes outside of the city. The drive is worth it however.

Stopped by Chariot Run for the first time on a beautiful fall Saturday afternoon. I thought I might have trouble getting on as IU had a bye week. No worries, I practically had the course to myself. VERY reasonable price. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I'll be back!

Booking a tee time here was sort of a last minute decision for us during a bachelor party weekend. Booking was easy, we took a taxi out to the club from Louisville and the employees were very helpful and friendly setting us up with rental clubs and other equipment. The course is fantastic and very well maintained. We hadn't anticipated the challenge of getting back to Louisville without a car and the staff was beyond helpful. Special shout out to Kat for helping us get back to Louisville in time to catch our flights home. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended for those looking for a relaxing and fun, yet challenging course with attentive and helpful staff.

Pretty wide open fairways, not much trees or elevations. Course is well maintained though, greens are in fantastic shape.

My wife and I stopped in today to have lunch and check out the golf course. The manager was very sweet and she made us a California try tip sandwich, it was excellent! The course was beautiful and can't wait to try out the greens.

Great course with a really fun layout. Lots of water and sand. Fast greens. Well maintained. I'll for sure be back. Staff was very welcoming. Left my rangefinder there and thankfully they found/returned it.

Worth every minute of the drive to get here. In my opinion, the best public golf course around Louisville. Fast greens, bothersome heather, golf carts have the fancy GPS on them, if you play smart you can score here. Course conditions are pristine and the layout is beautiful. I love playing here.

Best greens around. Course is always in top notch condition. Rates are lower than comparable courses which there aren't many. Good restaurant, full practice facility, friendliest staff from top to bottom. I couldn't give it enough stars. Course never disappoints. Also addition of new bunkers is superb.

Golf course was great as usual and wonderful condition. Staff is always great. Disappointed that they have discontinued the great military discount and is now same price as seniors.. I thought it was a very nice way to acknowledge their gratitude to military vets. Several of us that play weekly are vets and it meant alot to us. I think they increased the Sr price $2 over last year and $5 more since no veteran discount.

Just happened to be passing through the Louisville area and this course popped up as a “best in area”. We decided to give it a try and to our delight it was an excellent course. In perfect condition, greens rolled very true. It may feel like it’s in the middle of nowhere but it is worth the drive out there. Great service from everyone in the pro shop.

Beautiful course with extremely challenging rough/hazard grass. Quite friendly staff, and very reasonable food and drink prices. Rental clubs are top notch as well. Would definitely return if I’m ever in the area again — definitely worth a drive up from Louisville.

I've played at covered bridge, nevel Meade, and some other notable courses in Kentucky, and this is one of if not the best courses I have ever played. Staff is super friendly, the added tees and free ice cold water bottles and towels on hole 10 are the icing on the cake. Fairways are pure, greens are super fast, and the scenery is incredible. Highly recommend!

Tired of playing on unkept golf courses? This is one of the most beautiful non private golf courses I have ever played on. From the friendly staff, to the immaculate greens, you would absolutely love Chariot Run.

Chariot Run is an absolute pleasure to play. The fairways are lush and the Bentgrass greens are spacious and forgiving. One small piece of advice, control is a must when playing this course. The rough is challenging. Excellent service from arrival to departure. Definitely will return to play Chariot Run.

Our foursome golfed at Chariot Run on May 4th. I cannot say enough positive about this course. From the check in staff, bar staff, and course workers everything was so professional and friendly. The course itself is AMAZING. The scenery is beautiful and the course plays exceptionally well. I highly recommend making the trip out to this course. It is worth every penny.

In simple, this a great course in very good condition. They also have very good practice facilities. The staff is friendly and set a good atmosphere. Hope to play it again in summer conditions.

This course has the best and fastest greens that I have played yet this year. Very smooth and consistent. Fairways are in great shape, but a bit soft. But if you tend to hit the just slightly sideways you will not enjoy the heather and hazard areas. Knee high heather surrounds most holes and it is not fun checking for ticks and other type mites every time you have to enter. I am a fairly skilled golfer who hits the ball straight, but some of my playing companions were less skilled. This resulted in over a 5 hour round. It is a links course with no protection from the wind and it blew 15-20 steady with some 30 mph gusts. This added to the difficulty immensely. A very nice course but also very difficult for the average 85-95 golfer that plays a less demanding course all the time.

Beautiful corse, snacks and beverages are priced right, challenging layout. Greens are incredible. Roll true and are fast which makes short game challenging. Ice towels on the turn were a great perk. Only reason this is getting 4/5 was pace of play was way slow. The front 9 wasn’t too bad. But the back was turtle pace. I waited ten minutes in every tee box. Guys in front of me offered to let me play thru but it would not have made a difference as they were backed up behind another group, and so on. Will play again, hope the pace is a bit better though.

Course was phenomenal as always! Staff was friendly and helpful. Rain set in and cut our round short but they were nice enough to give us a rain check for 9 even though we were almost done with 18! Excellent service all the way around! Well worth the drive from owensboro!

One of the toughest courses in the metro Louisville area. Fun, challenging, links style with elevation changes, water, and bunkers galore. I typically play 15 or 16 holes at par bogey and then completely ruin the other two or three. I always love spending a day here though. 😊 …

9-2020 visit so had to change my first review, this course layout is solid and moreso the course condition absolutely top notch!!! Greens were at a 12 and the fairways & tee box's premo...PROPS to the superintendent. Great course... Great condition... Clubhouse n restaurant not bad...

Amazingly maintained course with, what must be, championship greens... make sure you visit the practice green before starting your round... unless you like 3/4 putting.
