What a Gem of a course!! I was in Pomona just for a day with my wife from Phoenix to take care of some business. I always take my clubs with me when I travel just in case I want to play some, or just hits some balls at a range. We have never stayed in this part of California. Our usual destination is San Diego to get out of the heat of Phoenix. Looked up some public courses to play, and found Mountain Meadows. Wow!! I was immediately blown away with the beauty of the course. The rolling fairways and the backdrop of the mountains were just breathtaking everywhere you look! The Pro shop guy was very accommodating to me and got me out as a single with a father and son twosome. Ray and Ryan if you're reading this, Thank You again for being great company, and giving me the local knowledge of the course and places to go eat in Pomona! What a fun course to play! Uphill, downhill, left, right doglegs, blind shots, but not too long so you can still score well if you're on. I just really enjoyed it, and would highly recommend it to anyone to check out if you're in the area.

One of the best places in the area for a round of golf but this is all about the food today....! If you have not tried the asada tacos or chicken tacos or fish tacos or the breakfast burrito or the pizza or the steak, I can keep going but you're missing out. When you come play Mountain Meadows, hang out for lunch or dinner... you'll be glad you did!

One of the best facilities in the area. No grass but the range has lights and is open late. Laid back atmosphere with classic rock played on the loud speaker. Full bar and the food is really good. Practice green allows chipping, plus. Could use some shade for the chairs to relax in. Normally very crowded on the weekends.

This is a really nice, fun and challenging course. You really have to be careful where you aim your ball, because some are narrow, a lot are hilly, and greens were fast. I shot 89 today which I’m happy and I had 4 pars on the last 4 holes! Happy New Year 🎆 …

Good place to have a wedding. Very nice place. Friendly staff. The Ceremony area has a nice view of the mountains. The reception hall has pretty chandeliers. The food was ok... has potential to be better. Needs more seasonings, as simple as salt would go along way with the food. The Brides room is bad. It was hot and stuffy, and not in the best location. The brides room also needs better lighting for not having any windows.

A very good and challenging golf course with lots of nice terrain and it had a relaxing view of the Fairplex area. It can be crowded sometimes but there’s always a spot for everyone. Just like most golf courses, they have memberships, occasional promotions, and a decent restaurant/bar and can accommodate events.

We had our high school banquet here. Food was great with plenty for second servings. Ice cream bar was great.too!! There was a stage with a Podium & microphone all set up and also TVs throughout the room for the video slideshow. First time having a banquet here and the prices are cheaper than any other place we looked into and it was a much better experience than the other places we've gone to over the years. Highly recommend using their banquet halls

Super nice staff. Gorgeous course and driving range. Greens play up and fast a bit but it is late June so that’s to be expected anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere. Again, kind staff, great location. Place is popular for sure so if ya like it quiet I’d say come in the early morning, otherwise, if don’t mind a blend of golfers ranging from 10-70+ years old then this is a top notch spot for ya.

Nice clean place. Only came to the driving range but it was nice. I felt that the price for a large basket could have been better. The large basket was $15 for 110 balls but I've been to a place where it was $14 for 140 balls. Other than that we had a blast. Can't wait to go back. More than likely going to sign up for their membership. Seems like a great deal.

Played on a toasty Sunday with the boys. Staff was excellent and awesome vibes around the clubhouse and bar. Can’t ask for much better when it comes to the driving range. Greens were fast and tough to read...but it is July. Sand was very hard and needs some maintenance. Lots of blind shots because of the rolling hills that infest this course makes this course pretty difficult. Very rare to hit a ball that isn’t on a slope. Only other gripe we had was the 1st cut of rough is WAY too long. If you miss the fairway, good luck finding your ball. Even balls we hit just off the fairway vanished. Other than that, great day!

I had forgotten how much fun this course is to play. The golf service was excellent. The course was in rather good shape except for the mud puddles here and there. We played in about 4.5 hours. Overall I reccomend this course. After the round we were drawn in by the happy hour sign at the entrance. We ordered 5 minutes too early to get the special happy hour price...but the server didn't even mention it? We just paid full price. Next time we'll be sure to sit and wait for the clock to catch-up.

This course is a top notch course. You just have to be smart about when you tee off on this course. I recommend if you can, tee off after 2 if you can manage to golf on a weekday if the days are long enough (spring-summer months) I haven't tried to golf on the weekend because I work, but I've heard horror stories about 6-7 hour rounds. With that being said, anybody that rates this course any lower than a 4, doesn't know their golf. This course is challenging and fun to play everytime I tee it up here. Long enough to test your skills as an amateur, but not too long where you aren't having fun. Great mix of par 3's, par 4's which play hard and some that play easy and par 5's you can score on with great execution of shots. This course will gobble you up if you are not sharp, which is an excellent trait to have for a golf course. The price range is extremely fair for such a nice, public course. It's always packed for a reason!!

Nice course overall. Played a full 18 in about 6 hrs though. It seemed like they were over booked and our hold up was a group of 4 with carts, a group of 5 walking, another group of 5 with cars who were late to their tee time, and then our group of 3. On the back nine some jokers jumped in and they spent 10 mins looking for their balls each hole!!! So maybe this club could improve on time management but all n all nice course to play.

I love going to this local golf course. There is music being played around the driving range and bar. The course is fun. Well kept. Not dry. Great vibe with the guests. All the areas are clean including the restroom. There's a bar with to go food and beer. The first person we encountered today at the proshop was not friendly at all. I was surprised. Everyone is usually really nice. But her attitude was bad. She had dark curly brown hair. Unfortunately I did not get her name. I wanted to enjoy my hard earned time off. The rest of the staff is always great. Helpful.

Nice course. Well managed for the amount of traffic this course gets. Tee box was the only area that was torn up. Other than that, fairway was nice, green was well maintained. We played a round on sunday at noon. It was super crowded but course was moving along pretty good. Our round finished in about 4.5 hours - pretty decent for a public course on a sunday.

Took the kids to visit grandma and we happened to pass by this course. I made a mental note to call and inquire about single walk on policy and general info. Spoke with Zach and from beginning to end of the conversation Zach was professional, courteous, helpful, and friendly. I asked a question, he'd answer the question and anticipate the next question or embellished his answer with more details. I ended the conversation feeling like I definitely had to visit this course before I left. Two days later I show up with clubs in hand and there was Zach in the pro shop with all the professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness he exuded on the phone. I work in management at a resort community in Hawaii and Zach would be a shoo in at any resort course or country club. I got out as a single and eventually joined up with Sheryl, Don, and Eric, locals to the area and we all had a blast! With their help I was able to navigate the course and really have fun. Playing an unknown course, comes with a certain level of frustration but not this time. I love this course's layout and greens. Very different from home. I play resort courses all the time and I was SURPRISED this was a muni! They do a great job keeping it in good shape and clean. Took awhile to get used to the different grass but I adjusted to shoot a 77 at the end of the day. From my experiences on the phone, pro shop, and on course, I really had a great day. My own personal Disneyland at Mountain Meadows!

This is a fun track. Green are in great condition and the holes are unique/challenging. The only issue is pace of play.. not taking any stars off though because I haven't found a Socal course that doesn't have that problem

Great bang for your buck. Scenic views of San Dimas and parts of Pomona Hills. Definitely a shorter course but being straight matters. I even Lost a few balls that were straigh in the air but who knows where the rolling hills took it. I didn’t want to slow down looking plus it’s December and a lot of leaves falling. Greens were pretty fast and I look fwd to playing again soon.

I can totally understand why there is so- so many people play here and makes a round of golf game about 5 hours or more.... The course is too nice. The environment is beautiful, course lay out is great. This is a 80 dollars quality course but you only pay around 20 for twilight. That's why so many people play here + the staffs is all A plus quality too.

Course in excellent shape Greens rolled very nice. Only issue they stack five sums and the five Sums played for the blue tees in front of us and could not hit a drive over 150 yards annoying. very nice bar / restaurant

It's been a while but my golf buddy is now in good shape again and we're ready to return. Great memories, where else can you play links golf in L.A. county, close to San Bernardino county. The course is challenging and scenic, with shade and cool breezes that keep it 10 or more degrees below the surrounding suburbs in Summer. Well groomed and if you play the fairways and take sensible risks, rewarding. compared to other courses within 50 miles, less waiting for players up ahead. Looking forward to our next round in April/May.

Love the Players Club deal! $40 a month for 2 large buckets a day, no cart fees ever, and discounts on merchandise! They keep the range balls in pretty good condition. Plus, they've made improvements to the course in the last year or so. This is one of the best public courses around.

Wow what a bunch of whiners writing reviews here. This is a public course with reasonably pricing. Not a country club. Great course, courteous enough staff that has to put up with complainers who what to play fast on a weekend and a great fun layout.

Very nice course but I agree with most of the reviews........the pace is very slow and is all because the people running this course do not do a good job at correctly spacing the different groups. They basically overbook the course.

Still have a 5 even after an unpleasant moment. Everything was great. Food service... But one complaint. A friend accidentally spilled a bridesmaid's drink, I went to see if she could get another, the lady at outside bar said I dint even know what that is. ??? You didn't ask, I should have said. But like im really gonna bring you a empty cup n expect you to remember what it was fromn 100 people. Then I tell her n she says, ooohhhh I'm sorry, I poured that drink a while ago. In sorry. I can't. Then I stood there a second and said, ok sadly. Walked back in, told my friend at table she said I'll take as loss. I guess the other guy bartender was standing with saw us patting table down where it was wet. He comes in with a towel and says oh, where did it spill? Can I put this here to soak up a little. Im like sure. Then says I'll bring another drink. He came back with another rag, same thing n said I'll bring. Dont worry. Now it made me think she thought I was lying. Which rubbed me the wrong way. But her seeing us and that she didn't even drink it...cuz she was holding it for someone anyway was enough 4 me. It was a $30k wedding. With 1st hr "free" cocktails. Pouring another $13 drink on the house wouldnt have broke the bank.

This is my favorite course to play near my house! It puts Marshall canyon to shame as far as course conditions and only cost a few $ more. Play can be slow at times and have 6 carts waiting at first tee!

I've only visited the Mountain Meadows bar and grill. The food is good and reasonably priced. I also talked to a gentleman at the pro shop about green fees. The green fees are also reasonably priced.
