Honestly I was impressed. I'd been here a few times in the past as it's always affordable. They have done alot of work on the course. Bunker areas all brand new. Plenty of new turn areas around greens. Clubhouse is gorgeous here. My bartender was great and looked after me. They also have plenty of stuff in the pro shop.

With proper course maintenance, this would be a great and challenging course. Fairways were in rough shape in a lot of areas, with grass burned to the soil. Bunkers were in very bad shape but they are getting ready to tackle that. Greens were in perfect condition, however. Driving range you have to pay for but we weren't told that in the clubhouse. Grass was mown, but not picked up, so you had chunks of wet grass piled up. As stated, would be an amazing course with those items fixed and very challenging with strategic bunkers. Staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the interactions with them. Food in the clubhouse was also very good. Coyotes all over which was pretty cool.

Gorgeous course! Booked at early 5:45am tee time and so thankful to see the beautiful sunrise hit the fairways! A little ways away from the strip but totally worth it! Will definitely be hittin the links at Stallion Mtn again soon ⛳️

I want to give this golf course another chance once they get the new bunkers done. Supposed to bring in New sand and have amazing golf bunkers. I like the design but the condition is still not where it could be for what they're charging. Otherwise. It's a decent track but definitely ask around and find out the condition before you decide to play and pay. So many courses to choose from. Do some research.

This was a fantastic course! It was well kept and in great condition. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming. The tee time I played on unfortunately witnessed a coyote hunt down and catch a bird on the 11th green, it was very National Geographic. I loved Stallion Mountain and I would definitely play here again.

Had a great time playing this course. Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Had to let the geese and ducks play through on one hole. If we ever get back this way again, will definitely play this course.

Enjoyed this course when we visited Nov 12th!! We were nervous after reserving and reading some recent negative reviews but were pleasantly surprised! Definitely recommend. Great staff. Course was not too difficult at all, which we enjoy on holidays. You cannot get into too much trouble. Only not giving 5 stars for the same as others, bunkers not playable and some occasional roughed up areas on fairway. These minor issues are being fixed and we are going to come back here for sure next time. Did not stop us from enjoying the round. We golf all over and must say we really enjoyed our day here. We were paired with a member whos company we enjoyed immensely. It was like a free guided tour!

The fairways and greens were in excellent shape. Challenging course with extremely fast greens. It took a few holes before I started getting used the speed. Loved the par three 17th hole.

This is a mid range course. If they had better deals like they used to, then the rating might be higher. Overall the course is good and staff is friendly. Greens are medium speed, fairways are good, but the bunkers we will see. Overall not bad.

Beautiful and can't beat the price. Was out there for vacation and wanted a great experience without breaking the bank and this place delivered. 25$ tee time on Sunday morning you can't beat with a stick. Not to mention the golf carts had GPS and as soon as you get in the parking lot someone comes by and grabs your clubs and drives you to the pro shop. Got paired with a 2 Vegas locals who's input was invaluable on the course. Will definitely be back!

Great course just 20mins from the Las Vegas strip. Good test of Golf and a good layout with a great variation in holes at a bargain price. Golf staff very professional and friendly. A good menu for lunch in a nice clubhouse, again with great service. This was my second visit and I will visit again in the future.

Visiting friends and family in Vegas. I always try to play at Stallion Mountain because I can take my time without feeling rushed. Some of the narrow fairways are quite challenging if you slice. The grounds seem to be in much better shape this year compared to last year.....much greener. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

Golfed here on New Years Day - Fun and challenging course! All the negative reviews don't accurately represent this course - Sand was rough (Shouldn't be in the sand anyways!), Fairways were good and Greens were great! Staff was super friendly and went above and beyond for us. Course 7/10 (KEEP IN MIND IT IS WINTER) Staff/Service 10/10 - We will be back for sure. Can't golf in the snow here in Canada

Played there 2 days ago. Nice layout with great views of the strip and Red Rocks. Things moved along fine and staff was great. Range and balls were below average and course was very dry... as must be most courses in Vegas. Not necessarity worth the $100 weekday rate. Much better options like Red Rocks Arroyo for about same price. Played that the day before.

Course in poor condition. Bunkers still under repair, lots of bare spots on fairways. Greens had been aerated and very bumpy, call it a 2 putt once on green. They still charge a high price for the conditions. People picking up on this as it is never busy.

Came from Washington to play golf in Vegas for the 1st time. Played here the 1st day. Liked it so much we played it today again. Fun course with lots of challenges. Would have gave a 5 star, but bunkers were unplayable & needs mowed bad. Will definitly return my next trip to Vegas. Well worth $46.00 with a cart. The beverage cart girl Sandra was a hoot as well. VERY friendly.

water pump broke earlier in the year & couldn't get spare parts due to shortages and it created many dead/bare spots on fairways. Greens are difficult to play if you're not used to bermuda. Staff is amazing and try hard to make up for the play conditions and deserve alot of credit for keeping the course actually playable.

Beautiful golf course and playing conditions. The staff was very friendly and helped me get around the course since it was my first time here. The rate was $25 for a 3pm tee time on a Saturday afternoon and the course was empty! I played with no delays in 80 degree weather, finished all 18 holes with plenty of sun left and really enjoyed the round. The course flowed through the community but it didn't take away from the course and the design is challenging yet manageable for all player skill levels. Highly recommended and I'll be back with a foursome next time!

This course was very beginner friendly and the staff was incredible. It was not very busy so we enjoyed taking our time hacking it up! Greens fee and rental were very reasonable but we were unable to try any food from the restaurant as they were closed when we were finishing our round. Make sure the GPS is directed to the clubhouse - our initial directions tried to get us into the gated community instead of the golf course. But we will definitely return!

I love the course lay out. Unfortunately the fairways are not in good shape due to a water supply issue, however the greens were nice. The staff is also really friendly and I hope they can resolve their water issue soon to get the course back up to par.

The staff is excellent!!! I am a handicapped golfer and they allow me to drive very close to the greens with a cart. Also they look out for me because they know I'm also a diabetic and in this heat it can be deadly. The course is a good medium hard course, and surprisingly in good shape considering its history. I highly recommend it to someone looking to play a good round of golf at a great Club.

The people there are great. The course is well laid out. Four tee locations to challenge the better golfers (not me). The price is very attractive to the working class. I have not played a ton of courses but the people here make Stallion Mt my favorite place to play.

Play there 2 weeks ago and had not played there in a good six or seven years and it's still has some of the best holes in Las Vegas.The only drawback is the sand traps are played as ground under repair And what I've been told is they will be fixed by midsummer. If you're on a budget and you like the Heat this is the place you want to be.

It was a rainy and chilly day. So golf was at our pace. The staff was friendly and helpful. The course was in good shape and a $20 special was awesome. A little fungi or mold was on the greens (black patches - I'm not a greens keeper), otherwise beautiful course.

Just okay... The practice area (with the exception of the bunker) is great. Once out on the course, the fairways are decent, the greens are nice but very slow. The rough is not longer turf as it should be. Rather in many areas it's patchy grass and dirt - creating very tight lies. The bunkers are AWFUL! There is little to no sand in them, making a successful sand save next to impossible. I'd go again, but only when the rates are at their lowest. I would not pay prime-time rates.

12 Oct the course is not ready. I figured bad much with the inexpensive tee time on Golf Now. I do wish the courses on the app were required to notify customers prior to allowing them to book. Greens are not just slow...but super slow. Fairways still need a couple more weeks to be grown in and cut.

Golfed this course 4/9/18. Amazing course!!! Greens were in phenomenal shape, real fair and nice roll. Staff was great! Fairways awesome shape. Will be returning here every year on vacation at least once while I'm here.

Looking beautiful after the over-seed, I absolutely love this place. For such a great price I think they’re the best course in Vegas, and definitely the best crew. They treat you like family and genuinely want you to enjoy yourself. I love playing here.

Amazing value during the high season. Course was in great shape for only $51 incl cart! Teed off at 9am on a Saturday and had no waiting all day. Fairways 5/5, greens 4/5, were a bit slow rolling, bunkers 2/5, they could use a sand refill as they were mostly dry and firm (advice, don't hit it in the beach).

I was there before the Easter weekend; played 2x and rented clubs on both days. Except for the clubs I got on the first round (they were scuffed and the bag was ripped/torn on most pockets) everything went just fine and I enjoyed both rounds. Brian, the manager was very quick to respond to my email inquiries and everyone was pleasant to deal with. The course was well maintained, a few bird carcasses littered a couple of greens. I will certainly go back.

Stallion Mountain is my favorite course in LV. I was able to play 2 round during my last visit in February before all the social distancing madness. The course was in great shape. The fairway greens were excellent and so were the putting greens. I would recommend for anyone wanting to play a round just 15-20 minutes from the strip.

Really nice course. Pretty challenging. Love that the carts have GPS on them. Makes guessing yardage a non issue. Had an issue getting started. No body was on hand to give me a cart, but it got squared away after going back in the clubhouse. Other than that, excellent time.

Plenty of grass, not dried out. Greens are good condition; some are kind of slow. Offers 7200 yards for the long. We played around 6200 yards. Good price at $50 for golf + $40 for club rental (Taylor Made).

Went in early March and the course is in good condition. The bunkers however are sub-par. It is still worth a visit. Good value during the peak golf season when greens fees are more expensive.

Brandon and his team are the best in the business! They are so accommodating with great customer service second to none. We have hosted a major college tournament at Stallion Mountain the past 3 years. Players and Coaches all love the course and how the staff treats them, making it one of the best tournaments in college golf. Thank you Stallion Mountain!

An absolute hidden gem, I would return to this course any time, excellent shape and the price was very inexpensive compared to poorer courses. Winter Golf can be hard on courses. Fairways are tight anything right or left your gonna be on hardpan dirt with very tight lies. Greens are great.
