What a gorgeous golf course! It so well maintained that it looks unreal, like a panting, an oasis in the dessert. The greens are so good that it feels like you’re in a pool table, the fairways are impeccably manicured. The holes are pretty long, with a lot of par 4s being more than 500 yards. But what a challenge and a bliss. Our caddie Chris was such a great person and competent, ask for him. This is definitely my favorite course in Nevada. Highly recommended!

Amazing golf course in Las Vegas. Course is always in top shape, staff is top notch. And the service is 2nd to no one. Expensive for a tee time. But Shadow Creek is a bucket list golf course. This is in my top 10 greatest golf courses. The whole experience is amazing. When you enter these grounds the whole world melts away and all that is left is this perfect golf course. There are challenging and memorable par 4s, 3s, and 5s. The test of a golf course for me is how different each par 4 is. I went again. This is one of the greatest experiences for golf ever!! Love being picked up in the limo. The staff at the clubhouse is super accommodating. The facility doesn’t look like much from the outside but inside it’s amazing. The course is in amazing shape. Caddies are outstanding. On #17, you have to go to the front of the tee box and see the headstones of the dolphins.

What an amazing experience we had. From the limo ride to the first class treatment you receive from the moment you get there from Brian and the entire staff at Shadow. The locker room is awesome,, with all of the top celebrities that have lockers there.. The course conditions are second to none. The staff makes sure you have time to soak up every minute of your golf experience. Our caddie, Brian, was so great. He put us at ease instantly and he was spot on with all his advice and reading of the greens. We would definitely recommend this course!

This course was a once in a lifetime experience that I got to have thanks to a good friend who managed to get us on about a week ago. The way they treat you at this course is unreal! The staff is amazing and does everything for you which is something that I had never experienced. Our Forecaddy Kyle was Awesome and made the round all the better. The guy had a ton of knowledge and every read he gave us was spot on. Couldn't have had a better guy show us around the course. The course itself is one that I could play everyday and never get bored with it. Definitely the Augusta of the west. Maybe one day I will get to play it again, I sure hope so. Thank You again to the staff at Shadow Creek for a memorable experience!

If you’re here, you’ve probably read many reviews of Shadow Creek and you already know that the experience is absolutely world class. So I’d like to use this space to talk about some details of my experience that I haven’t seen in a lot of reviews. They send a limo to pick you up at your mgm property. They actually sent me a little text link so I could track your driver, who will be precisely on time. Also my driver drove super smooth which I appreciated. The drive up the road to the clubhouse is serene. They obviously designed it to warm you up to the experience. You get a glimpse of the 5th hole as you arrive. My driver went slow so I could soak up the experience. As soon as I arrived, the head pro and my caddy (Moose) met me. Moose took my bag (which, btw, I never touched until I returned to the hotel) and prepped it for the round. The pro showed me around the locker room (I was assigned Greg Maddux’s locker), which was beautiful but surprisingly non pretentious. The practice area is absolutely perfect. The grass hitting bays were stocked with TP5s and not dissimilar to my local muni’s greens. The putting green was my first experience of the Shadow Creek greens, which were consistently hard and fast (prob 11 on the stimp). When I played, most of the “middle” tees (7100 yards) were closed due to an upcoming LPGA event, so, those being the tees I wanted to play, Moose just bounced me around whatever tee boxes I wanted. This perfectly represents the vibe on the day, which was “we are here to make you happy, and we are happy to do it.” The course, of course, was absolutely stunning. I have, without exaggeration, never seen a course in better condition. almost no divots anywhere. Fairways like greens, and greens straight off the PGA tour. Incredible views. The grass was over seeded ryegrass in the fairways (I played in mid May) and bent grass greens and fringes. Btw they use an incredibly complicated irrigation system that involves continuously watering most of the trees and bushes on the course. At the 9th tee, I called in a breakfast order (well, Moose called it in for me) and it was hot and ready for me at the green. Unbelievable service! The golf itself was stupendous. The layout was challenging, with lots of doglegs to challenge off the tee, and forced carries around the green. I actually had the most trouble with the short par 4 11th, at which I duffed three chips to the tabletop green! Every hole would be a signature hole on a normal course. However, the most breathtaking holes were, without a doubt, 15, 17, and 18. 15 is a long par 4 with Shadow Creek running in front of the green. For most humans, laying up on the second shot is a play worth considering. I managed to hit a good drive and barely clear the creek with a 3H. 17 is the signature hole on the course—a very short downhill par 3 over water to a tiny green with a waterfall in the background. Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. I ended up skying my 8i over the green into one of the back bunkers. 18 is one of the best short par 5s in golf. A solid drive in between a handful of carefully placed bunkers gives you a good shot at the green in two, but Shadow Creek looms in front of the green and all along the right side of the hole. It’s gorgeous. I hit a great drive but my 3W didn’t quite clear the creek on my second. After the round, I was welcome to stay on property as long as I liked, so I enjoyed a leisurely lunch overlooking 18, bought some merch, explored the clubhouse, and hit some putts on the practice green. Sadly, it was time to go so I simply informed a staff member and they called my limo back. There was a Rolls Royce waiting out front but I got one of the “normal” super luxury Cadillac stretch limos on my way back to The Mirage. In closing, this was, quite possibly, the best overall golf experience I will ever have in my lifetime. You will not regret saving the $ and taking the time to play.

Absolutely amazing. Yes it's expensive, yes it is over the top, but if you're a golfer you owe it to yourself to play here. From the second you get picked up to the second you are dropped off, it's an incredible experience. The course was in great shape, the staff were so friendly and so professional this is what golf is supposed to be like. Food in the club house was tasty, and weirdly affordable compared to the green fee price. Tl;Dr golf here. You won't be disappointed.

Just played here with my father for his birthday. $750 ($1500) greens fees + tip for the caddie. Worth every penny (have to stay a MGM property of course). We are just a couple of regular guys so not high rollers but what I noticed is there is no pretentiousness, arrogance, smugness if you will. Whether you are a scratch or high handicap they treat you like you are a high roller. Big shout out to our caddy Kevin. Couldn't have been a more perfect day.

Was just ever so SLIGHTLY disappointed in my experience with Shadow Creek. Candidly, this disappointment may have been self inflected due to my own very lofty expectations. The good: Our caddy, Adam, was incredible. Consummate professional. Knew the course incredibly well. Great reader of greens. Gave me the right numbers/lines the entire round. Good guy and nice to talk with. “Special Extras”. All the little cool/unique touches were great! From the limo pickup to the clubhouse. The little things that are included with a round here are really cool and make you feel “special”. The staff. Everyone from the club pro to the restaurant staff was very nice, professional and made us feel like VIPs Locker room. The locker room was awesome! So many cool lockers. Nice amenities. Not over the top, but just nice enough. Course layout and greens. I really enjoyed the mix of holes, especially the finishing 6 holes. The greens were running exceptional. Great pace and true lines. The SLIGHTLY disappointing. I would give the place a 4.5 if I could. But it’s not a perfect 5 stars. Course Conditions. I had built up this place as PRISTINE, like no blade of grass out of place pristine. It wasn’t...it was ok...this likely had more to do with the fact that it was august in Vegas. But still. For a course that bills itself as the “top of the top” and as “close to Augusta as you can get”, the fairways were burnt, tee boxes were just ok. Rough was...rough. Greens were the only part that were close to perfect and even some of them had chewed up collars under repair. Pro Shop. I WANTED to drop money on merchandise. They just didn’t have anything worth buying. And the logo is terrible ha. Again, a very minor thing, but for all the mystique, intrigue and exclusivity, you’d think the pro shop would be stocked with buyable merch. Value. The price tag adds to the mystique, personality and exclusivity of the place. But it is $300 overpriced without the pedigree of a Pebble Beach to justify the inflated cost. Again, overall I’m glad I did it. It’s certainly a bucket list course and I understand why. Perhaps if I’d played it in March I would have had my lofty expectations met. But as it stands Shadow Creek will remain a once in a lifetime experience. Now take me back to Bandon Dunes!

I have lived next to this golf course for 15 years. I've heard nothing but amazing things. Honestly I don't even golf. As a local that lives next door, I would love to see the inside of this golf course so that I can recommend it to my many friends. It is almost a joke now after 15 years to be able to say I have never been inside. I think it would be a great community event to invite locals to visit during the week when not busy and see the place, so they can recommend it to others instead of it being a secret MGM location.

Absolutely incredible. I bought a round (and the room required) as an anniversary gift for my husband. I really thought I would be bored watching him play, but our caddie Kevin was completely amazing. He kept conversation, kept up with yardage and ball paths, and made sure to keep me included. The course, locker rooms, and restaurant are immaculate. Such an amazing experience!!!

Haven't played it since '96, but the trip to North Las Vegas out in the Stix and away from everything reminded me of any classic Bond villian compound. In' 88, Wynn spent $3.2 million per hole and facilities were just as opulent. What great memories! Enough said!

As far as being a resident of north Las Vegas and driving past this area all the time it basically is an eye sore to the community and looks like the entrance to some military Installation maybe if they cared about the community they could fix up the outside around the course a little better and offer rounds to locals for a little less money

Beautiful course, went there to review setup for the Tiger-Phil match. Site inspection. If you're staying at MGM they will bring. You there and back. You will be supplied with a caddie but the fees are $500 a round plus what you doul out for tips. Hope You're a whale and you're getting it comped.

Few courses in the world compare to the experience one will have at Shadow Creek. The framing of each hole and the drama created by Fazio is some of his best work. The course conditioning is in fact the purest you may find anywhere in the world with some of the most exciting greens that putt like carpet normally rolling at a 12-13 without a single putt ever hitting a bump. Plenty of challenge awaits and a memorable course from start to finish. The par 5s all have drama associated with them and the 18th is a double risk reward hole, first with the tee shot where you can play an angle to shorten the distance of your approach and then your approach over water to an angled and challenging green which is you miss will likely lead to a splash in the water. This course has to be in anyone's top 10 and if you believe in the concept of the best course out there, Shadow Creek is a strong contender. Finally, I know its hard to justify any round of golf being worth $500, but lets put it this way, if there is a cost worthy of its price tag, it would be Shadow Creek, the experience from start to finish is a perfect 10/10 (which I give nobody) and the service is as high quality as the golfing experience. Enjoy it if you have the opportunity!

I've been fortunate to play some of the world's best courses such as Pebble, Butler Nat'l, Kiawah, Blackwolf, Ballybunion, and Old Head. Shadow Creek is the best golf experience I've ever had. Fazio, who played in front of us that day, moved so much dirt to create an oasis that is indescribable. You can't believe you are in Vegas, or on Earth. Every hole is framed perfectly and is in Augusta-like condition. The service, range, and clubhouse are impeccable as well. The only reason this place isn't ranked in the top 10 is because it's a newer course - there's no history or tradition. Regardless, it is an amazing experience that I will never forget.
