Reviews of Las Vegas National Golf Course
I’ll be honest. We’re a bit biased in this review. National has a special place in our hearts. This course is a blast to play. We don’t have a ton of courses in Vegas that are like National. It’s very traditional and is one of the few walkable courses in the valley.
The layout is excellent and challenging, even at 6800 yards for the tips. National used to be one of the host courses for the Las Vegas Invitational and was part of the rotation when Tiger Woods earned his first PGA Tour victory in 1996.
Lately, the course has been in great shape and playing very well. The greens, although a little slower than We’d like, roll true, and the newer sand in the bunkers makes them some of the better ones in town.
The Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame is also in the clubhouse. It’s an iconic course with tons of history. There are several markers along the course describing some of the historical places as you make your way around. Be sure to read them; there’s some cool history for sure.
The Natty, as we call it, doesn’t get a ton of press cause it’s not one of the high-end Vegas Desert golf courses, but if you want a good challenge at an iconic venue, be sure to check it out. And the turn dogs are damn good too!
Great deals!
The employees are great and friendly. Arrived on a very hot day and the employees got us set up and made sure we had everything we needed, including extra water for the heat. The course is dated, but is keep well. A small bucket of balls and water was included in the already low price, so a very great deal.
Nice trees and green fairways. The greens were slow-medium speed but kept up nicely. The course is longer and more challenging. Yet enjoyable. We had a group of 4, a 5 hcp, 18hcp, and 2 new players. it was difficult for the new players which caused for slow play. But the 18hcp and I had lots of fun.
I would def recommend this course. This has been my favorite in this price range. Def coming back!
The Rat Pack Bar & Grill is awesome! My favorite breakfast dish is the Frank Sinatra omelet! It is a cream cheese and green onion omelet! It is so tasty!!
Really nice course. Not over powering but a good challenge. Staff is great and friendly. Nice bar and eating area. Snack cart goes around the course. Nice to have ice and a cooler on the cart and a face towel for the heat.
Great fun course Fair for average golfers .Clubs available for rent.Nice greens and fairways.
Played this course few years ago with some friends. Lots of fun with 2 groups. Very accommodating staff and fun time had by all. You can imagine that many tourists come through just to have fun and the staff completely understands that. The course was ok.. dry... not overly challenging, but perfect for a getaway from the strip with a some friends.
Surprisingly, the course was well taken cared off. Made a mistake with Groupon purchase but the clubhouse guy was really helpful explaining to me what happened. This made me late to my tee time but I was able to play by myself. Overall, friendly staff.
Fairways were clean and green. Greens were smooth and consistent but not super fast. Some nice holes but not one really sticks out except 18 maybe. Played from the blue tee box at 6600 yds but seemed longer.
The course is inside a dense neighborhood but far enough from fairways that you shouldn’t have to worry about them. Nice bathrooms in clubhouse. Small selection of souvenirs in pro shop. Good place to hit range balls as well.
Would definitely recommend if your in town. I wouldn’t pay full price to play though because there are other nicer courses.
Great track and only 50 bucks including cart for mid October. Really loved the signs on the t boxes explaining some of the history of the course. Easy to figure out whats going on and no trick holes. Decent scenery and fun to play. Greens were a little shaggy from overseeding during our mid October round . We all really enjoyed it and will play again!!
18 is a great finishing hole.
The husband loved the course, and the guys working were great. Rented clubs (they did not give them the cheap ones) and cart. Fair price....
Our experience was so positive when we held our 40th high school reunion at the Las Vegas National Golf Club five years ago that we booked it again for our recent 45th reunion. We were welcomed back and treated like FAMILY by Events Coordinator Illa Smith and the entire staff. One hundred and fifty attendees enjoyed an incredibly diverse and delicious dinner buffet and a decadent desserts table, well placed seating, on-point table linens, lovely centerpieces and some old school, old Vegas hospitality for an incredibly reasonable cost. I highly recommend this venue if you’re looking for a great place to hold your special event.
This is a very awesome course for any type of golfer. The fairways were fast and well maintained exclamation part if you had a good drive you could actually make some points on this birdies were nice! The course was nice.. great play on the greens! Nice day to play! Had fun and will be back soon to get in another round in! So grab some fellow golfers and get in 18 here you will love it!! Tell em Tbone sent you #getoutngolf #tellemtbonesentya
We had a lot of fun golfing this course! This course has its challenges but let me tell you it is a fun course. This course is designed for a little bit of a challenge but it is fun as it can be on a sunny day! This course has very well-maintained greens and tee boxes! The fairways were very generous! And if you've got a good putting stroke you can get in for par very easily and maybe even a birdy! I had a lot of fun golfing this course. It was a little busy but people are very nice and look out for each other and let you pass when you catch up because I could tell that there was some people out there for conversation instead of golfing. The range was set up properly the clubhouse was full of anything you might need as a visitor golfer. The staff was very helpful in guiding us around the premises. The beverages were cold. And it was just all out a good time. I would suggest grabbing some friends and a tee time and swing in the club at Las Vegas National Golf Center! Tell em Tbone sent ya! Support your local golf course. #getoutngolf
This is the best public course in Las Vegas great value for locals and tourists. Close to the strip lots of history. (Tigers first win, Casino filmed here, Hang out for the rat pack)
It's in great condition year round one of the few Vegas courses that has access to a private well for water. It's not a desert course. It's extremely challenging from all tee boxes. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is great. Drinks and food is priced fairly the clubhouse has room for large gatherings. Great short game practice area. Multiple practice greens. Grass driving range weekdays. You'll have some slow play issues from time to time. Especially if you tee off in the afternoon. Tee off in the morning I'm usually done within 3.5 hours.
Great day of golf. Course is in good condition, fast greens. Helpful and friendly staff. Food and service in restaurant very good.
Surprisingly nice course with beautiful mountain / strip views and fast greens. It’s $69 to play and $39 for club rentals. They throw in waters, carts, and range balls with that. Overall, a great course that’s not going to break the bank
Classic, Old Vegas golf course. Nice condition and friendly staff. The historical markers on the tee boxes are interesting. The mid-century architecture is fascinating.
Great course, I always enjoy playing here. The staff always give great service and the course is always in good condition. The greens were recently sanded, but any other time of the year this is a top 5 course to play in Las Vegas (in my opinion)
Great public golf course near the Vegas Strip! Golf legends such as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tiger Woods, Se Ri Pak and others have played and won a tournament at this course
Whilst over from the UK I played 18 holes. The difference in standard and quality from UK courses is night and day, the fairways were better than some of our greens! Having ice and water already in the cart, usually ours have rubbish from the previous users. Overall it was near perfect, even the driving range was being watered, for me this is how golf courses should be kept.
Only criticism, I was playing solo and they didn't tell me they'd put me with 3 strangers. The guys they put me with was nice enough, good group of lads but a heads up would've been nice. The marshal also seems a bit miserable, when i asked him a question he responded like i should've known the in's and out's of the course i'd never played!
If you're a fan of the film Casino, this course is where they filmed the plane landing and De Niro's house- ask, they'll point it out to you, pretty cool.
So glad I'd booked a round here. Staff are great, course was great, club house great. Real value for money. Would recommend highly.
To be honest we play here a lot. We have a youth golfer and the course and staff are very supportive. We always have a great time.
Very nice informal and vintage Vegas vibe, good food, indoor and outdoor seating, great prices, good food always, and very friendly atmosphere and staff.
Great golf course. Enjoyed my time here while in Vegas! Staff was awesome. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Vegas.
Come here once a year to over see the Hole in One for my Dads Golf Tournament. My Son Loves it too. Nice greens. However there is a Lady that works in the restaurant there sometimes(The TALL skinny one) and she just thinks her S@&÷ don't stink and is soooooo rude.... Make Sure you order from the other Lady that works there all the time if you get hungry.
I don't know much about golf but I know delicious food in the rat pack Bar and grill but I taste it. Makes sense pricing is fantastic service
I played there yesterday for the first time, I LOVE this golf course. The design is solid, the conditions were excellent and I can’t wait to play it again. No doubt I will be playing this course on a consistent basis now that I have played it.
Classic course, challenging and very well maintained. Love the National.
The call center didn’t put in our tee time we made a week ahead of time but Brian in the pro shop and Brett the starter got us out on time with no problems and we are so grateful for them!! Course is in great shape, all perfect grass
This course is a classic ,been around a long time, lots of trees, not that easy, lot of challenging holes. Plays longer than the yardage says.
Undoubtedly my favorite golf course because of its design and overall layout. Every green is on an apex, give or take 1 or 2 holes. Every hole has something unique which makes it stand out. Look at the slope, etc. If you think this is an easy course you're going to dominate...good luck. Current condition - fairways and greens - is 5* fabulous thanks to double-seeding.
Scatter my ashes on par-4 #7, hit the best shot of my life there for a 2 back in '17-'18 or so.
My first golf outing to vegas, and of the 2 courses I played this was the best. I had a great time, some challenging holes. The course was in great shape, the sand was nice and soft and raked well. The cart was stocked with coolers and ice.
The only downsides would be lack of club/ball washers on the cart, and feeling a little rushed to tee off sooner than our booked tee time. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a great golf outing.
Amazing, way better then other more expensive courses. It's not on golfnow so look it up on Google. Well worth it. Plus it tells you all the history around the course. Great greens, challenging approaches.
A fun, older course that plays with some teeth if you don't make good shots. Very scoreable if you can execute. Carts are ok, no GPS, but have double coolers, and USB charging outlet. Some right fairways, some water, and enough bunkers to challenge everyone. Play a piece of PGA tour history and get a history lesson at the same time.
Played here in October while visiting from Arizona. The course as a whole was nice, layout was pretty great, with a ton of history, the staff and hospitality were great and the condition of the course was prestine. However, the greens (especially since they were just overseeded) left a lot to be desired. While they were green and plush, they were not cut to a proper length. They were equivalent to fringe on other courses and the absolute slowest greens I've played on and no I am not exaggerating, probably a 4 or 5 on a stimp meter. It was honestly kind of a disappointment because I spent months looking forward to playing here. Who knows though, maybe the greens are in better shape during another time of the year?
Played here on Saturday 6/26/21. The greens need help. From tee to fairway this course is awesome. The greens have a fungus or some desease. The parts of the greens that were not infected were fine a bit on the slow side but if they would get the greens back in order I would give it a 5 star review. Everything else was beautiful. The staff was awesome. The practice putting greens beautiful. Driving range awesome. But the greens on the course got to get that fixed. Let me know when that happens and the next time I plan to head to Vegas I will play but until then. 🤷🏻♂️
Great old fashioned layout w good conditions and a trip down old Las Vegas lane with it's trip down the roots of Vegas.
Great value of green fees and restaurant food. I had the Frank Sinatra omelet just because of the name mostly.
Don't leave your clubs unattended though. A tip from an employee.
Check out the trophy history on display. Just awesome.
Perfect setting to shoot Jurrasic Park, Heavenly in the middle of Vegas' hellish surroundings and triple digit heat.
Was alright, we were backed up and being hawked by the ranger for most the round because of the overbooking. Course was fun, but could of been better experience. Guy who worked the course gave us the read on 18 cuz hes worked there over 15 yrs and its was not only a terrible read, he asked to show us the putt and duffed the Putt himself after asking one the my buddies to use his putter. Played better spots in Vegas for the price. It was more the nostalgia of what was shot there for movies and knowing the rat pack played here
Friendly staff, cart shack provided extra water at the turn on 105 degree day. Some rough areas hid errant balls. Layout was fine and the traps were some of the best with soft, clean sand. Fairways were all green with a few dry spots, but not any hinderance for shots. With the cost of non resident fees in Vegas, this was a bargain. Will play again on next visit.
11:00 t time very few other golfers. Greens excellent. Fairways excellent. Bunkers excellent and I was in a few. Some shade useful because it was hot.
$ 39 rate. Played in 3hrs. 10mins. Would recommend to everyone
Got a chance play here with some army veterans the course itself is in good condition very challenging but fair greens were cut down fast but easy to read I would come back an play again here once I'm back in town layout of course an pin locations are good will highly recommend to play a round or two if in area I give my allotted 5 stars review for a good time an staff an fellow golfers were good down to people thank you las vegas national
Historical Las Vegas golf course. If you know the history it makes this course great. Tough place to play. Practice facilities is pretty decent.
I had a lovely lunch with my daughter and granddaughter.
The food was great, so was the service. It's always a pleasure to see Barb our waitress. We sat outside as it was perfect weather. Lovely view. Couldn't ask for anything more.
I really enjoyed the course. Great layout in pretty good shape. The bunkers could use some attention.
Pro shop staff, starter, cart staff were all very good to excellent. The snack bar was closed. The bar/restaurant was open, but unattended (we waited for > 10 minutes). There was a refreshment cart on the course. I will definitely play this course again for the golf layout, hopefully the poor food service was an anomoly.
Great golf. A bit run down but lots of trees for shade. Pretty easy course.
The course is in good shape, always a tough golf course. The greens were fast but really smooth.
It would have been a great day except for the winds that were gusting.
What an amazing course. Lots of cool history also.
Probably my favorite course in Vegas. Played here about 15 times in 2020. Great course conditions. Good challenges on some holes, and some holes that you can get low scores on as well.
The rates are quite reasonable as well. Everyone is really friendly, and the course has a ton of history. Definitely check it out.
I love play golf this area ...
fantastic place
Good condition. Greens extremely slow. Crowded, but it was a Saturday. Friendly service. Classic layout, but challenging. In a rundown neighborhood. Like that they have a Youth on Course rate. Played in the Vegas area all week and this was our least favorite.
The golf course is Beautiful and a Joy to play on. The club house setting amongst the lush green fairways is an absolute treat. The historical displays, "The Rat Pack" and casino memorabilia, was fun to look through. The restaurant has Good Food and the bar pours freely. I'll be coming back many more times in the future. Thank You for an all around good time.
Interesting course. Not exactly top notch in terms of green and fairway quality but its reasonably priced and close to the strip. I'm a 10 handicapper and found the course to be quite a good challenge. Perfect to get in a quick game while you're in town.
4 stars because it was 100 degrees and there was no water on the course itself. We were given a couple of bottles at the start but they soon finished.
I would go back given the right circumstances.
Great course with some old vegas history
The course green was in bad shape today...pace of play was very slow on a hot afternoon, as there was no marshal. The starter sent out 2 foursomes, and a single before our 3somes and the 2somes behind us, instead of putting the single with our tiresome or with the two behind us. Every hole was a delayed at least by 2 groups waiting to tee off. The 2 somes behind us quit after the 9th hole.
Bad course management and the green was deseased and in very bad condition for the money charged. It was in much nicer condition in December when we last played there in a tournament.
A nice retro feel at the clubhouse along with the surrounding neighbourhood. Excellent breakfast. The course itself was in great condition with lush fairways and very nice greens. It's a long course with very long Par4's. Usually 170-195 yards in for your second shots with a good drive. Very nice round of golf and a pleasurable experience. Will be back.
Playability was not too bad for an older course. Layout was exactly as stated and could be tough so requires course management on your part. The staff at the cars were real friendly and helpful. One thing we noticed, was that it was really noisy from all the planes going by. Not helpful to your game but it will make you a better golfer.... said my wife... ;)
Best golf course
I will visit again.
Very friendly staff and fantastic course
It is the best golf course
Loved the course, was here visiting and course was in great condition. Rented clubs and they were nice Taylor Made’s.
Some constructive criticism for the course, if they read this, clean the water areas that have trash. It’s disgusting, beyond disgusting.
Greens need some works also, they’re in solid shape but man are they brutally slow.
I would give the course 4.5 but Google won’t let me.
It's dated, but I feel that is part of its charm. The green is impeccably well maintained and ultimately that's what counts the most. Decent place to host a semi formal dinner, banquet or in our case, a company Christmas party. The catered meals where fresh and well prepared all evening.. Drinks generous.
I love the history and it's a great place in all areas. The must play on your list of courses you have to play if you love golf! Soon much history you feel it in the air. I give it a 10.
The course the last couple of weeks has been amazing! They are overseeding right now like most courses in Las Vegas but they should be amazing when they open.
Haven’t made any updates to the course since tiger was there, attitudes everywhere except the pro shop and cafe were as bad as the course
Love the layout, however the course conditions were very average. Greens were long, slow and bumpy. Played at a <2 hour pace on the front 9, as we ignored an overzealous, power-tripping ranger who said we were playing slow. Front 9 beverage service very good- back 9 not so good. Club service and cleaning excellent.
Amazing course. Open but challenging. Unlike any other in town, staff was
Great, well maintained. Great price and away from the strip- and the strip prices. Historic, very cool facts posted at the tees. Had a great time. Highly recommend for large groups.
Nice course . I would definitely play it again
Played Saturday 8/02/14. The course is challenging and in great shape. Good shots are rewarded and the generous fairways keep the pace of play moving along well. The staff were all terrific, Pro Shop, Snack Bar, Beverage Cart, and Cart Barn were all attentive and remarkably pleasant. Great experience right in town!!
Amazing golf course! One of the best in Vegas. Whether you are visiting or are a local and haven't yet checked this course out, do yourself a favor and make this your next golf outing.
If you need any supplies or forgot to pack a golf item, the Pro Shop on site has a wide array of all things golf.
Hungry? Thirsty? The bar has a great menu and an excellent variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for before and after golfing.
Service here is always exceptional and highly professional. The green is impeccable, and even in not so great weather, it is beautiful and easy to play on. Beginners are welcome!
They are also available to host events and charity fundraisers. Catering also available.
Good course. Very long and challenging par 3's on this course. Felt like the cost was worth it. Very friendly staff and decent rental clubs to boot. I would come back and play here again, close to the strip and easy to Uber back and forth from.
Staff is absolutely fantastic. The bartender/waitress that was there super friendly and made the Texas boys feel at home in Vegas. Thank you all for your kind service as we played this historic course
Very nice course! Only complaint would be, for a course of this caliber, you'd think the tee boxes would be a little flatter.
Awesome place. Friendly, helpful and a great course. Wide open fairways are deceptive, easy to hit safe however if you don't think all the way to the pin your approach becomes infinitely more challenging. Pay attention to pin placement and approach angles.
Home of Tiger's 1st professional win. Also a favorite hang out for the rat pack. Classic course, excellent condition, & lush fairways.
Played the course for the first time
Fair way was tight greens were well taken care of.
It was to bad we ran into rain on the back 9, but it gives me an excuse to come back.
If the guy at the club house was little friendly it would have been more enjoyable.
Nice course at a very decent price in Vegas. It is an older course but was well maintained for a Late October round. The staff was great and you have to try the golf boards! It's a challenging course for any golfing level. Also the last hole runs up along Sam "Ace" Rothstein's house from the movie Casino.
The course was in very good condition. The staff both inside and out were very friendly and helpful. This course has some great history. If you are a golfer this place is a must. The restaurant staff was great.
Nice layout course was in great shape.. cart girl was on her game, we never went with out swing lube
Great place to come and play. The course is pretty hard
I don't golf myself but occasionally I tag along with friends. It's very quaint and serene. My friends enjoy its location and ease of scheduling.
Overall loved the course, facilities are good. Got a good deal through GolfNow at that time, teed up early in the morning. Conditions were good and staff were great (they can spot a tourist once you enter the door LOL) Location is nice, not at the strip but its right in there ;)
Well maintained course.. I think they should work on their bunkers a bit but otherwise great course and cool history.
The club house has good food and a friendly staff.
Had a great time and the guys in the back loading our cart were extremely friendly and helpful. They could not have been more polite and knowledgeable about the course and its history. Can't wait to go back.
Everyone at Las Vegas National provides exceptional service and I just had a great time playing where all the old greats have played in the past. The conditions were the best I have ever seen it here at LVN and I cant wait to play it again. I really enjoyed the layout of the course it seems simple and easy but for some reason it is challenging for me to score well on this course. This is a great course for all handicaps but would be best if your an 18 or under in my opinion.
Las Vegas National Golf Club:
It's nice to see in sky view.
Many of the homes in this tract back up to the Las Vegas National Golf Club. The Las Vegas National Golf Club began as the Stardust Country Club in 1961 (part of the Stardust Resort properties).

Tough course playing from the championship tees(blue). Plenty tight fairways, approach shots into small windows. You would think whoever did the pin placements today wife must've left them bc they were a straight jerk LOL - a good 4-5 were on slopes with no chance of holding an approach shot. Greens were rather dry n crunchy but not fast at all, played wayyyyyy slower than they looked but they weren't horribly hard or bumpy to where you wouldn't make outta
Play was rather slow, 4somes everywhere with mediocre to below average players makes it tough to stay within a zone or consistent. But a great value but if you can play for anywhere under $75 a 18 I'd say & definitely a challenge, probably challenging from the white tees as well.
Had a great round here. Old school layout which is a real challenge from the back tees. It was darn hot the day we played but the beverage cart visited regularly to delivery water and Gatorade. I had to rent clubs and they were a mixed bag of irons. This was the only disappointment.
This 4 stars instead of 5
Very nice course with a friendly and helpful staff. Downside is other golfers who dont know the game and the damage the course they cause and little golf etiquette. The course is great though.
Great course for the price, I paid in the 30 dollar range. No hole has anything to write home about. I would place it a step above most municipal courses. Friendly staff. Great customer service.
I'm from Chicago and played there today, the fairways was in great condition and the greens was also perfect. I will definitely return and bring friends
Its a awesome old school Golf Course. Love playing it.
Ok for a city course, seen better days, a little burn on the greens. But worth the money for a locals price. Older part of town, but still in good shape.
Tough course especially in the summer where the greens are not in good shape. Great for long-hitters too tough for average golfer
Best test of golf in the city. A true shotmakers course. Not a target desert course but a thinking golfers course. Lots of trees, strategic bunker placement. Need to be able to hit fades and draws to really score well. No ridiculous carries over the grand canyon either. 5 par threes to test you on. Just a great mature course that doesnt feel like a typical Vegas desert course. Condition at the course is very good now too. New group seems to be doing a great job of sprucing her up. Lots of history here too.
This is a hidden treasure for golfers. Well maintained. Great service.
Wish I could have done more than just hit buckets of balls slowly but my back wouldn't allow it 😪 …
Difficult track with challenging bunkers protecting the greens, I think I found about 9 of them, the greens have some undulation and the day I played rolled a bit slow, but not unfair, it's kind of a touristy course and so it played very slow, it was fun to read the history plaques with interesting notes about the course and the homes around it.
Frank, Dino, and Sammy don't hang out there anymore but that doesn't mean it's not worthwhile. An older course that's kept in good condition, reasonable rates and a handy location. I know a few people that swear by the restaurant.
Grass and green everywhere... Which is untypical of a last Vegas golf course. Fantastic layout, well maintained and amazing staff. Price is very fair as well. Great value.
Very well kept and good rates!
Nice course. Older course layout with older tech but they keep it up very nice and the course plays well.
Course is very outdated for the price of 139$ . And when you rent clubs they are beat up andd nobody goes out of their way to make sure you get what you need.
Morning tee time on a Sunday and I could immediately tell this is as old as described. Overall, I would say if you are coming to Vegas to get some golf memories, go elsewhere. If close and cheap is what you are looking for though, this is your place. I got a military rate so it was at least 50% cheaper than other places in the general vicinity of the Strip. Taxi ride was between $15-$25. It was kept pretty well however, the geese, pigeons and ginnea chickens have sort of taken over. I was paired with one other guy who was nice and never really felt rushed. Really felt like a municipal course with all the goose doo-doo and run down houses that were obviously built when Vegas was born. Pace of play was pretty good given it was pretty full, we played behind a female foursome who seemed to be locals and efficient players....Thanks! The staff was nice and the cart guys were professional and generous.
Close to the strip with some decent views of the hotels. Nice historic notes on some of the holes. Not a long course, but still challenging. Good condition and friendly peeps.
Absolutely amazing. The course was in great shape had a great time and a great experience will definitely be going back soon
Very nice place to go to play gulf or meet people good coffee ☕ nice people we had our screening there , they have a good gulf store and a bar it is fun to go we liked it ❤❤
The employees are courteous and helpful. The greens are in good shape. A fairly difficult course, but fun to play.
From cart guys to pro shop & management all do an awesome job for our ladies Monday group !
Restaurant chef Oscar always prepares the tastiest lunch buffet for us. Thanks
We always enjoy playing here. The course is well maintained and the staff is always as helpful and friendly as it gets. Great value for the price.
Nice golf course. We'll maintained, and I had an enjoyable experience playing this course. 18 holes. Expensive.
Classic old hangout for Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. & Dean Martin. Wonderful staff, nice course but avoid the creek area!
Greens were great, pace of play was solid, and the attendants are friendly and helpful. Rough is thin and patchy but that's the nature of Bermuda grass in winter.
Great course, super reasonably priced, great service experience.... If you want to go hit 18 holes in Vegas without spending $500+ on a tee time this is your place.
Course is in great condition. A marshal is riding around the course to insure play is not slow and players are staying within the time frame.
Older course, surrounded by an older Vegas neighborhood. Was well maintained, staff was friendly and helpful, was decent amount of shade along course so you could get out of the sun from time to time.
It is a very challenging course. Most of the courses here in Las Vegas have ravines and other desert hazards. This one is mostly flat but is still challenging. It is an old course and I believe that it was the Course that the FBI landed the plane on in the movie Casino.
Go there for business lunch once a week. Hidden gem. Affordable but higher quality than chain restaurants. Great staff and always in & put in under an hours time
Gr8 course been playing it for years but l8tly the staff seem a lot more friendly from checkin through after round drinks and lunch today was pot roast special I took 2 home for the non golfer wife and me and what a treat kudos to the chef delicious cant wait to see the next special
Cheers n bears

The food is good but not for the price. Drinks are great and the staff are professional and courteous. Want the country club experience in old Vegas, here it is. Want amazing food, this isn't it
Great course staff was very friendly
I liked it a lot. Nice people, course is in good shape. Was able to get 14 holes before dark. No complaints.

Discovered a Great Place for Breakfast or Lunch. Good prizes, food and service.
The cart guys were very friendly. they helped us with our bags. the course played well and was in good condition.
Awesome Gulf Course. Conditions were Excellent n Service A++.
Very polite Great Golf Course excellent views but would like some water back on the carts
A treasure just East of the Strip. I drive across the Valley to play here so if you are visiting and wanting a place to play I highly recommend this over other tourist trap courses.
really solid, underrated golf course.
Long hard well maintained course reasonably priced in the heart of Vegas. It's worth playing just for the signs about the stars houses around the course.
Had a great time. Friendly staff, course was in good condition and not over priced.
Awesome golf course. Had a great time. Felt a little rushed, but I heard it's their busy season.
Great grid long in distance Old School Layout trees to deal with that have seen a lot of stuff watch out for hungry cayotees they will feast on birds for lunch🚬🚩🌠 …
Course is in good shape with Covid precautions appropriately in placed. The greens are fast.
This course is in good as shape as bears best. One of the only courses in vegas that is watering the grass.
