Reviews of City of North Las Vegas Municipal Par 3 and Disc Golf Club
Overall good for pitch and putt practice. Public course decently kept but at a higher price than the value. It’s 9 holes but they will let you play through twice for the 18. Spare/rental clubs were subpar.
This place is great, the city definitely needs to invest some money into this course. The people who work there are amazing, David in particular. Great course.
Fun course. Pretty long holes gotta work hard for a birdie. Disc golf course after dark is always a treat. 9 bucks for 18 holes. Well ten. I always tip the nice person behind the desk.
The Good:
- Price (under $10)
- The staff (very friendly & helpful)
- Quick 9-holes
- Free use of clubs for kids (sticks for kids)
- Intimidation-free for beginners
The Bad:
- Have to hit off mats which are very worn down. If you can hit off sidewalks, you’ll be fine. Need replacement of all mats especially since you are not allowed to tee off from the grass (wink wink).
- Pull carts are only $2, but none had retaining straps to keep the bag from falling out. Bring a bungee or you’ll be holding the bag down while pulling the cart because it will fall out eventually.
- Disc golfers are seemingly “everywhere” rushing your game and getting in the way. Gets a bit annoying.
- The greens are like thick, moist sponges. You’ll never roll off the green & will require a pendulum hammer to putt across the green.
- Several lights burned out especially on holes #7 (fairway) and #9 (tee box)…playing in the dark on those.
Overall, this is a bargain if you are not too picky about the mats, thick greens or disc golfers weaving in and out of the fairways just begging to get tattooed with a Titlest. Would recommend to improve irons and short game not including the sluggish greens. With some directed maintenance/upkeep, this could be a much nicer course. But for under $10, hard to beat.
It's always a pleasure to Connect With My Comrade and play multiple rounds of golf. Great course to work on your short game with narrow fairways so keep your club face closed.
Great value. For a quick 9 or 18 holes, it can't be beat. Get some exercise because it's walking only, but pull carts are only 2 bucks.
As far as the course, it's in decent shape considering the price. OK greens, a few bunkers, but you have to tee off mats. Understandable considering the price.
Friendly staff and great course. Well worth $6 to play disc golf without pedestrians!
This place was great, few people when I arrived. Which is good for me.
3-par course was good for a quick game. Was not very busy, yet I still felt rushed by other players, front and back. Frisbee golfers also on the course. The putting greens are not well maintained so expect some rough greens. I will return for a quick game, as the price is right. $9 ($7 for military) plus $2 for a pull cart.
Nice course. Shared with ball golf and flows well for 18.
Best prices for golf in Vegas, Par 3. Nine holes. Staff is great , good conditions on the course. It does get hard in the summer when it is dry and hot. The ball will go forever.
Great course where you play 2 rounds through with 2 baskets at each hole just swap to unplayed basket on second round through. Some fun challenges and great patrons. Service is super friendly. Small food shack. Indoor restrooms, very clean. $6 to play disc golf.
Really enjoyed this course. 9 holes each with two pins so you can play 18. $6 per person and worth it imo. Lights came on as it got darker and made for a pretty fun experience.
This 3par golf course is a good challenge. It takes about 1 1/2 hrs to play.
Its $9 on the weekdays and $11 on the weekend. For 9 holes and the 2nd 9 holes is cheaper. I have played this course for over 30years.
Its a great place to learn how to play, get some exercise and to work on your short game.
They have lights to play night golf. If you want to beat the heat.
And now they have Disc golf. (frisbee golf)
You walk the course with pull carts or you can carry your bag. You hit off mats.
I love this little golf course.
Good course to play for a quick round. Greens weren't great. However, I'm just starting out so this was a perfect 9 hole course for me. Test your irons game.
A beautiful short 9 hole, 3 par golf course, catered for beginners, young and older golf players. This is where I do my weekly walk as I hit the golf ball. Hopefully, the city will keep it open for good, unlike what happened to Craig Ranch Golf Course.
Best course in Vegas. Only course you can play at night. Hills, nice grass, good teepads. Private course so no 4th birthday parties with blow ip bouncey houses in the middle of a fairway, etc.
Sometimes the management and the workers dont seem to be too interested in whether or not the place stays open. I would give the management less stars but it seems to be getting better.
Ball golfers there have been super friendly and welcoming and a lot of the time we end up talking to them about disc golf.
For the novice golfer, this is ideal. 9 holes, longest is 170 yards. Shortest is 72. Tee from mats only. Lights on at night, you can play night golf in the summer, it's a great thing to do, and the price is right. Got an hour and a half to kill? Got 10 bucks? Try this course.
Fun course. Grass was in rough shape but it is in the middle of the desert. Definitely recommend going later in the day in the summer they have lights so you can finish your round.
Only course I have played in Las Vegas so I do not have anything to compare to. Very clean. Has a BAR!! Staff was very cool. Becasue its on a ball golf course the disc golf holes are long but with wide fairways. Great place to work on your longer discs.
Good course if Sunset and Mt Crest aren't challenging to you and your getting bored playing them. The only real problem is the trees are exTREEEEEEMLEY "grabby" and you have a really REALLY good chance of getting one stuck in a tree somewhere BUT when it comes down, and it will eventually, it seems that 99.99% of the players of both disc golf and, surprisingly, the "ball golfers" as well, will turn the found discs into the office so if you keep checking back you have a very high chance of getting your disc back.
Great place for disc golf! The $6 is SO worth it to not have to play around people walking their dogs, barbecuing or picnicking, or any other distractions you would get from a public park. Staff is friendly as well!
Great executive course. Good exercise.. walking only. No pressure. People are friendly and helpful
$4 women's day on Thursday!!! We try to play a few times a week in winter.
Only $6 to play two rounds. There is a drink and snack bar in case you forget your water. They also have a used disc wall with some interesting options. Overall a good course
Great course, love the elevated tees and great prices for food and drinks
Beautiful, short course. Friendly people! Worth the ride from the strip!!
This course is great, I really like playing here with new people that have not played before. It's not very hard at all. Par 3s are great for beginners learning the game.
He was very welcoming when I walked in, even tho lived here for over 20 yrs never played here before....but I will be back becoz of John I belsieyhis name was...it was me and my son so he was just learning so great place to start!! Highly recommend!!
Nice course. Visiting from LA and wanted something easy to play since I'm a new golfer. Friendly people. Well kept course.
Decent and inexpensive, good place for casual players not too far from the Strip. The shop is not very well stocked but the beer is cold and cheap.
I've been playing on this course for over 20 years and it's a great place to work on your short game.
If you're looking for a short course and a reasonable price. Here's the ticket right here.
My home course and I love it ,great corse great personal

This place is where my family would golf with our grandpa. We loved the place.
Pay-to-Play nite time Disc Golf comes to Vegas winter 2015/16! Super excited to play competive DG on a ball course, LIFE IS GOOD
Great little course...right price...we had a great time.
Wonderful well maintained course! 19 long holes, clean restrooms and cafe with friendly folks!
Short fun 9-hole at a more than decent price. Can go twice for six dollars more
One of my favorite places to play golf. Good staff and good green fees.
Nice course. Awesome staff! The wind on the open course really makes you think about your shot.
Perfect for beginers! Normally a quiet environment and ladies day is Thursday. The prices can't be beat!
Par 3, 9 hole course. Not a country club yet a pleasant place to play or practice. Even has a frisbee course.
