Reviews of Boulder Creek Golf Club
Solid overall course. Worth the short drive to Boulder. Fun to play and always in above average shape. Nothing amazing bit you won't be disappointed for the cost. I always get good deals on golf now here.
Boulder Creek is a not-so-hidden, hidden gem. The course is always, and I mean always in great shape. Three different nine holes layouts and a fantastic practice areas make it a must-play in the Vegas area.
Because it’s in Boulder City, it doesn’t get the notoriety of the other courses in the Vegas area, but the golf is outstanding. They consistently host events from NCAA, SNGA, USGA, and the PGA Tour. My only gripe would be the range balls need to be updated. Smooth range balls is never a good thing.
However, if you’re looking for a course that doesn’t get a lot of press and has an outstanding experience, take the extra time, drive out to Boulder City, and experience one of the best courses in Southern Nevada.
Very Nice course. The fairways are narrow on some holes. Staff was very nice. I had lunch. Nice driving range and putting green
First time playing the course. It was better than some courses that I’ve paid more for that didn’t have the gps carts. The price you get for everything is pretty good. The only issue I had was that the greens were filled with divots that ppl didn’t fix. The bunkers that I did find were more hard ground than sand. Over all I would play here again.
Absolutely excellent grass condition! Fairway and greens, both were really solid smooth and hard to find dead patches. Staffs were really friendly too! Played Desert and Coyote and they were pretty challenging, especially Desert. Many dual fairways so make sure to know the course layout before tee off. Pace wasn't bad at all for 9am Sunday tee time. Will visit again definitely. Picture is 1st fairway through green.
Consistently one of the best public golf courses in the Las Vegas valley. Boulder Creek is known for playing firm and fast with awesome greens. Boulder Creek hosts the yearly tour qualifier for the Shriners. Enjoyable for the average players from their preferred tees and a great test from the tips! Boulder Creek also has 3 nines which makes it easier to get out and helps keep up the pace of play. One of my go-to courses in the Las Vegas valley!
Very impressed with the greens and overall the course was well kept up during the summer. 🏌️♂️ …
Design is beautiful. Holes are challenging, but fair. The course has held US Open qualifiers. Local pricing is very good ($55 to $65). Kitchen is good. Staff had always been wonderful; knowledgeable and friendly.
Nice course 27 hole. Staff is great. Course well maintained.
But, sand traps need rocks sifted out. Rock hard on wedges. Rock hard on greens.
Love this course, best value in Vegas area. BUT, need to stop with the 5 somes or add a ranger to ensure pace of play
The course was beautiful and filled with nature. They had the electronic bikes to rent that hold your clubs, so much fun! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The resident coyote was chatting us up on a hole and it was a great laugh. 3 different 9 hole courses so you won't get bored here.
Great challenging course for the money. All three 9-hole segments are rotated so you can play a different 18 every couple of weeks. The only slight negative is that range balls are not included with your green fee, but are available for an additional $10.
This is by far my favorite course. Always plenty of room and the staff is great. They accept youth on course and really support kids golf.
Great course with the golf now deal ($40 per person). This was my first time with my son. The course was in great condition along with the weather. The golf carts now have GPS and is very accurate since I also had on 18 birdies to assist with the course. My only complaint would be the practice range balls (1 star) are like hitting ping pong balls. But, the practice facility is top notch and is 5 stars...
Course was in excellent shape, great service and practice facilities. Will be playing here again soon.
Terrific Golf Course with a challenging layout and fast greens. A "Thinkers Course" with different strategic options to play each hole. Watch out when the wind is blowing and your playing the back tees!
I went to Veterans Park to fish in the pond next to the golf course, looks like a great place to go
This course has 3 nine hole courses and we played Coyote Run / Eldorado Valley. We paid $120 per player, which seemed over priced for the experience. No GPS, which is a problem for this course, our cart was in rough shape including a broken windshield, the cooler on the cart didn’t have a lid, and the range balls were mostly smooth and flew like knuckle balls.
As for the course, to me it felt a little tricked up, like they tried too hard to make an interesting layout resulting in a bunch of quirky, awkward holes. For a first time player it was tough on many holes to see the hole layout from the tee making it a complete guess where to aim sometimes. We pulled up a GPS app on our phones to get a better view of the holes, which helped. Lots of bunkers and desert areas, which is fine, except the “sand” is closer to course gravel, which doesn’t play like sand at all around the greens and actually scarred my irons in the fairway bunkers. We played in winter (January) and the course was fully dormant. They painted the fairways green, but lies were pretty tight. Probably plays better in summer.
The staff were very friendly and the restaurant looked nice, but we’ve played nicer courses for less money in the Vegas area.
The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. It made the whole experience easier to get through.
Beautiful place, they obviously are having issues with watering but adjusted the price accordingly. Luckily I called them for a tee time because if I booked it online I would probably been charged full price and would have been disappointed. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.
Not only the best conditioned course in Vegas, but the best most customer friendly staff!!
I love this place! The view for the restaurant and bar are beautiful. Staff is amazing. I love having breakfast here, delicious food. I also celebrated my mother’s celebration of life here and they did a wonderful job. Everyone included was beyond helpful. Highly recommend! (The golfing looks pretty good too!)
Amazing food, staff and ambiance. Great place for family meals and celebrations
Fun, challenging course, great lay out.
The views, staff and course were all top notch. The coyotes were even fairly friendly! We played this course in October and had perfect weather. The course conditions were also top notch. A wide open course with little OB concerns, but the natural hazzard areas are difficult to play so keep your drives straight! Views are spectacular. This is a real "nature lovers" course. Would liketo have seen a cart girl, but hardly worth mentioning considering the day we had here. Wonderful!!! Will be back!
We love this course, nice round considering. We were a 3 some that was behind a 5 somes. The 5 some have no course etiquette, not only do they not dress for golf, which was no issue. They have a teenager who runs and literally screamed and at one point ran into our green as we were putting. They held up our group and the group behind us, basically the whole round because they were all over the course, taking 3 or 4 shots in the tee box as well as showing someone how to hit the driver off the tee box, then spending time to find their lost balls. We called the course couple times but they didn't seem to do much, or having a marshal out in the course. At the 18th hole, I finally yelled "let's get moving" as they each were hit 3 or more shots of the tee box each and the teenager was running around the tee box yelling. For the money we paid to play there. These issues could be better managed by the course.
When you are in the Vegas area you will find perfect golf courses! This course looked to me, that must be a landfill nearby. Plastic bags, bottles, beer cans for example all over the place! The bar keeper was not friendly at all!
One of the best locals places to play golf in town. Although, the word is out and many tourists and visitors from the strip have now discovered this hidden gem. Beautifully maintained (3) 9 hole courses. Each with there own personality. Unlike many courses in town, there are NO HOUSES on the courses. The Head Golf Pro, Dave Enyeart is a true professional and runs a tight operation. From the time you pull up to the bag drop the customer service and staff are friendly courteous and attentive. The restaurant inside the clubhouse, has some of the best breakfasts in town. You wont be disappointed here.
Staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home
Awesome course
4.5 stars! Very good golf course. Whatever problems they had with their greens 2 years ago has been rectified. Greens are rolling like tour greens again! Great job by the superintendent and grounds crew! Even though it's not in Vegas, besides Paiute it's the best value within 30 miles of Vegas. Beats any other Vegas course! And is great value. Customer service is always good and the restaurant is excellent also. Can't recommend enough!
Such a nice course! Very challenging too!
Greens and fairways were in great condition. Pace of play was good.
Food here is REALLY GOOD. Prices seemed a little high at first but once the food was brought out I saw the serving sizes. My wife ended up taking half of hers home (no, I did not... Lol).
The service was a little slow, but all said... I'd definitely come back.
First time here. Really nice. Breakfast was good as well.
First thing first, staffs were friendly and accommodating. The cart lady came around twice making sure we're filled with goodies. Coyote run and Desert Hawk's courses were challenging with lots of hazards. Fairways and greens were in decent conditions. Our foursome had a good time playing bingo bango bongo golf... who cares about strokes 😎😆
I liked the course layout and the friendly staff. Beverage cart girl was very friendly. Only bad thing was the water coolers were not out, I'm sure Covid had something to do with that.
Love this course, good Trac.
Greens were fast.keep the ball in fairways, plays a lot easier
awesome course new carts and lots of traps on every hole 😂 …
Nice course. It was maintained well, but the greens were a bit slow when we where there.
I have come here every year for the last five, for my family's golf tournament for the nonprofit that my father runs. They are always super gracious and accommodating with our players, and the service is unbeatable. The golf tournament is always a great time and the course is beautiful. I've only heard great things from the players afterwards.
Me and my family went there to ride our bikes and such in the parking lot during quarantine. The course is nice and they have good food with a friendly staff. We like easing outside on their patio.
Had a great golfing experience. Interesting course layout with water, elevation changes, water, sand etc. The GPS on the carts was helpful. A little pricy if you are not a boulder city resident, but they have the facilities and course to justify the price.
Great course all around. Friendly, courteous staff. The layout is awesome and there are no houses, just grass, arroyos, scrub brush, ponds and desert the way it is meant to be. I stand behind my 5 star rating but.....if I could find just one thing about the place to gripe about it would be the constant noise of helicopters taking off and landing nearby. I know, obviously, the golf course certainly can't do anything about this and it's hardly worth mentioning. Next time I visit Las Vegas, i will definitely come back here.
I have been playing Boulder Creek for a few years now and though this course is a fair distance from where I live it is always worth the 40 min. drive. So much so that I purchased a membership. Keep up the great work!
For what you get this golf course is nice and open. The greens are well taken care of. The course it self is very well maintained. The 3 courses are not as challenging as most out here in Vegas but they are fun to play.
Average golf at a fair price.
One of the best kept secrets outside of Las Vegas. Boulder City is a short 30 minute drive from Vegas... If you're lucky, you can get a $30 round from golf now, but the regular price is a good deal as well... Three different 9-hole courses that are as challenging as anything out there. The grounds are generally in good shape all the time... Especially during summer.
Very nice place. Bartender was charging us 3 different amounts for the same drinks and didn't really know how to use register. For a large function they should have 2 bartender.
Played this course one week ago and blown away by the thoughtful layout and wonderful condition of the fairway and greens, relative to its reasonable cost. Granted its 1/2 hour from Las Vegas. Nonetheless for $65 including cart, range balls, etc. this course was far superior to many of the $100 + rounds I've played in Las Vegas. Some very challenging holes that required accurate drive to set up second shot. Loved the dramatic backdrop of mountains. The staff at pro shop was also very helpful. One of the most enjoyable rounds of golf I've played all year.
Moderate course with brown fairways and looked like dyed greens. Playable for sure but just didn't seem right.
Fairways and greens are in great shape. Free range balls for locals. Even accommodated me after I realized my reservation was for Boulder Muni. Thanks to all the awesome staff! Bar/restaurant near the proshop. Very nice to get out of the valley. Boulder City does it right.
The course is ultra immaculate, great guys in the pro shop, good food in the club house. My only complaint is your lucky to see the snack and beverage cart, which is more expensive than a movie theater, (then a tip), even once in a round.
Nice course, but I have yet to play it when the wind didn't blow 100 mph. They could really use some marshals to keep the pace moving.
The grass could use more water, but I am sure it is tough to keep it wet with souch wind.
Nice views overlooking the valley. We also saw a huge coyote run right across the tee box in front of us.
A lovely Valentine's Day brunch with family. Such a wonderful day with beautiful views of the golf course. The service was perfect.
I just finished playing a late afternoon tee time at Boulder Creek for the first time! I rate this as one of the top rated public golf courses in the southern Nevada area (Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City). The staff were very friendly once we arrived on site and were able to drive directly up to the 1st tee box. The practice facility is very beautiful and seem to be in great condition as we passed by to get to the first tee box. The greens, fairway ways were in very nice condition for this time of the year as most golf courses around Las Vegas are at that stage of re-seeding the course.
I am definitively making another visit to this course and you should be doing the same!
Beautiful grounds. Watched the fireworks w,/so many other people
Great course with well kept fairways and greens. Can play during weekdays in under 4 hrs. Staff always pleasant.
Excellent Golf Course that is in great shape and has an outstanding group of employees. We had a great time!
Great course was a little drive from the strip but we'll worth it.
Attended a Memorial Service reception here. Pre-arrangements were carried out by the staff as promised. The food provided was ample and tasty. Very pleasant facilities.
Boulder Creek, rated 4-1/2 stars, is home to three excellent nine-hole loops of desert-style championship golf. The Desert Hawk, Coyote Run and Eldorado nines make their separate ways out-and-back from the modern, comfortable clubhouse. Each has its own character, although the wonderfully natural and open desert environment is common to all three. Boulder Creek is always a delight to play; at times challenging, at others easier-going, and always well-presented and immensely scenic.
Great course. Even with the greens just being punched, they still were true.
Top notch. Great food, service and so nice to look out the big windows to the green outdoors.
Great lil fishing spot... nice sized healthy looking catfish in there..
Course in great shape, delight to play
Of my favorites in Las Vegas you could call it a Hidden Gem I suppose but everyone seems to know about it. A little ways away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. But also a little bit away from the typical Housing Development obstacle course he find it a lot of places these days. Restaurant is also great excellent sandwiches and lighter fare for lunch. Staff goes above and beyond some of my favorite in town.
Friendly staff with three 9 hole tracks which are always in great shape
Boulder Creek Golf Course is one of the best in Las Vegas 3 9 Hole layouts awesome desert course awesome food staff and driving range I highly recommend Boulder Creek to anybody that wants an awesome desert Links Golf experience
Greens are a mess but roll decently. Tough course in the wind.
Absolutely amazing course, beautiful setting, challenging layout and with three 9's it's always a different experience!
Good layout and good overall course condition. A challenge, but not punishing. Staff are great. Only issue is bumpy greens.
Excellent layout, good greens, great practice facility. Could use better on course distance markers. Will be back soon!
One of the best courses in town. Greens have always been great and the fairways are currently in some of the best shape in the Valley.
Very nice course. I played their for the crew cup. And had a blast. The fajitas were amazing.
Challenging course bring a towel and umbrella for all the time you will spend in the sand lol. Very well kept and good service.
Fantastic hidden jem outside Vegas proper. If you play here you will not be disappointed. I am a local and have played them all and this is well worth it.
Been golfing at Boulder Creek for 6 or more years when in town. Excellent shape and depending on which the boxes difficult level rises to your challenge. .
Kyle and all the staff are friendly and professional. Course is always in great shape.
Very well run facility, however, the maintenance on the sand traps and greens should be improved.
Amazing course in great shape. Very few parallel fairways, good dog legs. Staff was excellent & good food.
Great course. Even better customer service. I totally recommend this golf course it's worth the little drive from Las Vegas.
Played it yesterday. Nice course but the greens are very bumpy. Aggravating when putting within a close range.
Nice layout and beautifully maintained fields.
Excellent golf course, staff was friendly, course was in great shape, played 27 holes
Nice club decent value the carts are a bit rickety
