From Texas, I met my cousin from Chicago to play here. Both our first times and we’re already wanting to play it again. The course was stunning. Nicest public course I’ve ever played on, and rivals the private courses I’ve been lucky enough to play. For the price, experience, friendliness of staff, restaurant, cleanliness, you can’t beat it. What a great time! Although it’s not a terribly long course, it has a great layout and you have to play strategically which is great fun.

I had the pleasure of making Sandy Pines my weekly Sunday golf course for the past several weeks during the Illinois tighter COVID restrictions on golf. I can say I couldn't be happier, it happened. The facility is top notch and very well taken care of. The course is very challenging, in great shape and very sporty, no matter the conditions. Well worth a 1 hour drive. Brad and staff should be very proud. Thank you for everything!!!

Played Sandy Pines Friday after a hour and a half drive. It was well worth the drive. Course was in good shape for the heat wave we have been having lately. Smooth greens and great fairways. It is a challenging course. Friendly people, hard working course crew. Got to come back to see the waterfall when finished. Good time, I will be back.

Course is a gem. Variety of holes that are not boring. Good maintenance considering the rather high play rate. We have lunch before and dinner after 18 in their restaurant( best restaurant within 20 miles) SP19. Club drop-off is great newish addition.

My cousin's wedding was beautiful! The Pavilion was a wonderful spot for both the ceremony and reception. 20 tables of guests with lots of room between to walk. Food was good and staff were friendly and attentive.

I was invited to the Jasper Country Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing and Sandy Pines has quickly become one of my favorite courses. If you live outside the area, it's definitely worth the drive. Jasper County has a lot to offer and the Sandy Pines Golf Course is at the top of the list. It's a great mix of open fairways, water features, great views, and deep sandpits. Enjoy!

Beautiful course, very challenging and a lot of deep bunkers!!! Very nice and a lot of fun. Carts are super nice, with GPS, club and ball washers. Will definitely go back again. The restaurant has great food and is very reasonable.

High Quality Golf and Dining experience. The course stays in fabulous shape with moderately challenging layout. The restaurant also has great food with indoor or outdoor dining options. I had the The Kougar burger with BBQ, Mac & Cheese, and Bacon on top of the burger, simply amazing combo. Finally, take in the wonderful views and many mature pine trees.

I’ve played here twice now. Best course in Northwestern Indiana, in my opinion. It’s super fun to play, very challenging, and feels much more like you’re in North Carolina than Indiana. Top notch golf experience, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to play.

Fantastic golf course. Somewhat forgiving if you are not overly aggressive. But pretty rewarding if you can be aggressive and hit your shots. All in all I had a fantastic time and I cannot wait to come back

I go here quite often. Food has always been great. Service is good as well. The only thing I don't like is their booths. Very narrow, so you need to be on the slim side to set there comfortably. They do have tables and that is what I prefer.

A pleasant surprise. We were visiting from out of state when our friends took us there for a late lunch. They had several offering all reasonably priced. I had the Italian beef sandwich and french fries which were very good. Couple that with fast friendly service make it a must stop for dining when in the area.

This is one of the best golf courses in the area - including Chicago-land. It has 18 unique and challenging holes (you'll understand challenging when you get to hole #2.) It's always in great condition - and dries out really well. All if this for $40!

Was there for an outdoor wedding. Nice venue. Beautiful, small, very clean and staff extremely friendly. The food was excellent! Wish we could have had seconds. We had perfect weather though. Not sure how I would have felt in not so ideal circumstances (i.e. rain or cold). Be careful with heals! The surface for dining and dancing is stamped concrete with varying levels a height and catch points.

A hidden gem located 2 hours north of Indianapolis and about an 1:45 from Chicago. Great course with slick greens and a nice layout. The SP19 is one of the best clubhouse restaurants that I have been too as well. Will definitely be back!

Great public course with a wonderful staff. Brad The pro is always friendly and helpful with a smile on his face. SP 19 restaurant has some tasty food but my favorite is the breakfast. Try the nachos if you have an afternoon tee time. Its a must play!

This golf course is worth the drive for those appreciative of a traditional course. Played late October and the traps were groomed and sand from edge to edge. Golf carts have all the bells and whistles, Scoreboard, GPS and order lunch from the tee box. Best keep secret in NWI Indiana.
