Reviews of Tour 18 Golf Course
Played here for the first time. The course replicated 18 PGA tour golf holes. It was quite spectacular. I do not know all of the holes or courses but I did recognize many.
The greens and fairways were well maintained for February. Overall it was a fun experience.
Watching the Masters tournament ALWAYS makes me want to go play Amen Corner! So I always book a round for my friends and myself at Tour 18. Beautiful course and fun to play!
Played on 12/9/22. Fun course that is well maintained. Really enjoy playing Amans Corner and the Saw Grass island green. Staff and drink cart staff were very good. My only complaint is that there is no drinking water coolers on the course.
I have to say, today 4-30-23. It was a great experience from the time the gentleman in the pro shop said hello till the end of the round. The staff was great and the course was in great shape!!
Played February 20th - March 3rd
I like the new carts - faster than the old and have coolers.
Some are complaining about no water being available on the course. I purchased water before starting my time. The cart girls are always friendly. Same with the grounds crew.
I really like the new club house makeover. There is a lot of new staff. All have been polite and professional. From living on the course, we see that the crew is constantly maintaining it.Great 4 hr round with, draws, hooks, putts, gimmies, beers and laughs, not sure why some of you are complaining about time. Enjoy the game.
The only complaint I have is the clubhouse needs a paint job on the outside and I've heard the course was for sale. It would be devastating to the surrounding homeowners if the buyer decides to sell Tour 18 land to developers to build more houses or apartments.
Staff was terrible and the coarse was average in the up keep. I guess I just bought into the marketing and expected a different experience. The guy at the pro shop was super short, even after letting him know it was my first time there. I just wanted a point In the right direction to the first tee. This guy acted like I was a degenerate that wanted to take his daughter out on a date. Then got mad at me when I asked to buy some tees, that they didn’t have. I mean they didn’t have any tees for sale. What kind of pro shop runs out of tees. I will try again in the spring hopefully that guy isn’t there and the coarse is in a little better condition. My dad came In from out of town and if I knew it was going to be like this I would of just taken him to Golf Club Of Houston.
Fuuuuun course! Get the group of guys and go play.
Nice replica course that is pretty well kept. Fairways and bunkers are in good shape. The greens are a bit slow for a course as nice as this, but they are mostly in good condition.
Awesome course! The front 9 got the best of me. Challenging holes from around America all on one course, what a great idea! Would like to visit again for some redemption.
Played here on a real wet sunday. Course was lots of fun and well kept. Cool to recognize holes from TV. Close to lots of heavily wooded areas so we ran across about 10 deer while playing. As long as you dont mind some deer tracks on the fairway, good spot to play.
The course is 5/5 stars for sure, great condition with super fast greens. Removing a star for slow play (5+ hours) and allowing 5 somes. New carts are very nice and fast!
The Place Is Amazing I've played it About 3 or 4 times As I have been in Houston for Treatments at MD Anderson the Holes are So Close to the Real Deal .Go Play it You Will Love it . A Must Play
Love this place. They always fix the holes to make it like the ones at the tour. Lots of holes that have character like amen corner.
Awesome experience, pretty affordable for a weekday twilight round. Amen Corner is worth the price of admission.
Fist time play at Tour 18 Humble, TX. Staff really friendly from pro shop to starter. The place of play pretty good today ( Tuesday Sep’26 tee time at 8:20 am. )as I read reviews before book tee time and a bit worry about it. The green pretty good shape, Fairway couple hole a bit dry as a lot of Texas areas didn’t get much rain for a while over all it pretty good . Couple thing that would be nice if the course have water cooler on the course and if the cart have GPS ( the chargers in the golf cart didn’t work either ) but they have the cart girl to sell you a drink. Really enjoy play at this course and will play again if come to Humble!!!
We had a great time. Everyone was nice. They did was good.... most importantly the course was in good shape. Greens a little slow but good shape. A great time:)
it s nice place to play.I came here every month everything is awesome!!
I had pleasure of playing here this week. Considering the weather conditions the course was amazing. I highly recommend you play this course during the week if you get the chance! My only negative was it was any coolers on the golf carts. Also it wasn't any water coolers at any holes.
Absolutely amazing experience! It is such a hard course but so much fun! Real slopes!! Real angles! Have to play the course In a smart fashion! Truly shows how good the pros are to play these holes In a good way! It’s amazing and if you can find a deal on golf now it’s definitely the place to play! We played for $36.99 at 11:30!!! Whatttt?!!!! ❤️❤️❤️🙌🏼
Great fun at Tour 18. The course is in good shape. The greens rolled well, the cups have the white plastic inserts making the cuts neat and visible. A good challenge from the tips. And if playing replica holes from the Tour in one beautiful neighborhood isn't fun enough for you, pay an additional $10 (at the time of this review) and ride these Golf boards.
Course was not in as great of shape as we hoped. Overall good experience.
The course itself is great besides a few fairways on the back but a tee time at 1030 on Saturday took nearly 6 hours to complete. Maybe don’t stack times as much
Nice place very clean and I’m good shape had fun
Greens & fairways are in fantastic shape. The iconic holes make it worth especially Sawgrass Island Green. Only knock is that the course doesn’t drain well a lot of the bunkers were unplayable with deep water in them.
Great service and a beautiful course.
I will plan to go back soon
Course layout is great and conditions were pretty good. But it’s only 17 holes with all of the construction. They don’t tell you that and you won’t see it on their website. Didn’t know till we pulled up to hole 9 and saw it closed. Overall the course just lacks the amenities of nicer courses but it’s in good playing shape.
Course in good shape and enjoyed playing both times so far this year. Frustrating that course would allow a worker and friend just to jump in on a hole to play then hold up pace of play. Very unprofessional to paying customers.
Would have been nice to know half of the course was closed when I booked the round. They are punching the greens today. Hopefully they will heal quickly.
Is was a Great Day for golf and that was my Best drive of the Day 73yrds from the green and I got my par
Visiting texas with my mom we decided to play tour 18. It showcases different golf holes from around the world played on the PGA tour.
It's a tricky motha if you are a new/ novice golfer, but it's fun and, the price for an online tee time can't really be beat for what tour 18 provides. Nice, lush, greens, and fairways.
Excellent course!
Lovely atmosphere, people and employees were all welcoming. Great place to go if you want to learn how to golf. Though my interaction with the Marshall Monty wasn’t pleasant, still was hooked on the course and it’s layout. Will definitely be returning again!
The course was in great condition. Fairways were firm but not hard and the greens rolling pure. Couple of bad spots from the Feb freeze but that is to be expected. Plus Sammy Hanson provides lessons here. Enough said.
Friendly staff, The starter took wonderful pictures of our golfing group.
Great concept - I have palyed some of the real holes they copy and its pretty accurate! Course in great condition other than tee boxes, staff v friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended.
I really enjoyed my round here and it was an amazing experience. I have just moved to Houston and wanted to find a course that is welcoming and hospitable and I think Tour 18 is the one! The young gentlemen in the club house was very helpful and friendly. I played on a Thursday and was able to walk on pretty much straight away and pretty much had a course to myself (except I caught up to a group and had a group behind me by the last two holes but there were no hold ups). The three Augusta holes were superb! I stopped by for a quick drink in the bar after, the bar looked really nice. They also have a shower in the locker room which was really appreciated as it's about a 40min drive back home for me from the course so being able to clean myself up for the drive back was great. Highly recommend this course!
Course was ok, not worth driving through Houston for. The price is also fairly high for an average course. Really cool concept
Tour 18 (Houston) is a well known franchise in golf. The course takes some of the most notable and in some cases difficult courses in professional golf (PGA) and puts them all in one 18 hole challenge. Fantastic idea and while decently executed, the fit and finish/maintenance of the course was rather poor. Fairway was overall acceptable as expected with all this rain but the rough, areas around the greens and grasses in play were generally unacceptable for what you pay for 85 dollars here. Compared to the similar priced tracks it actually failed quite clearly; unique holes not withstanding.
This is a course that has very visible lack of TLC as the problems could be fixed quite easily but with dedicated work. This is also why privately owned courses have historically outperformed on the presentation component, because they take the look of the course personally.
This I believe is another indictment on corporate owned courses not giving the public what they paid for.
Greens in good condition. Well keep. Our only complaint was the inpatient staff. The rudeness surprised everyone in our party. They told us halfway through that we needed to “speed up our play. We where five minuets behind” Mind you there was no one behind us the whole day. The man in the pro shop was rude and followed us to the restrooms to let us know.
Then at the last hole a staff member waited for us to finish so that he could let us know that we where ten minutes over the expected time. The expected time is 4 hours and 30 minutes. We took 4 hours and 40 minutes. Fun course. Just be prepared to be put on the clock when you’re playing. And the staff isn’t too friendly.
Beautiful day and a beautiful course. We all had a great time.
Course is in pretty good shape. Greens are slower than they should be. Somebody needs to take a row boat out to the island and clean up the sign and mow the grass and cut down the dead palm trees. The course is too special to have the centerpiece be an eyesore.
Really fun place to play some unique holes. Course was really well maintained and i thought the price was great for the amount of fun I had.
Sure it was 93 degrees and humid but i still pretended i was at Augusta National and can't wait to return
If you are a scratch golfer who’s looking to shoot low to mid 70’s
Then this is the place for you.
One of the easiest course I’ve ever played on & the employees are so nice Some of them even complemented my game last week.
Before I got in my car to get back home all I seen from a distance was one of the employees running at me to hand my 54 degree that I left in my cart if i was at any other golf course they would’ve taken it and throw it in their rental.
The course was in great shape. Greens and fairways looked great! The team of staff in the bar area took care of us as well. The only reason not 4/5 stars is the pro shop staff was horrible, rude, and acted as if we bothered them by wanting to golf. My group had 8 people and not sure we would return due to that.
Played It 5/12/2022 This Course Is In Excellant Shape. M- Thrusday Rates Around $52 W/ Golf Cart.
Played Tour 18 on November 6th with 3 other colleagues. Green fees were a bit on the high side for a Tuesday morning but I could of justified the price if the course was in a little better shape.
We have had quite a bit of rain over the past few months and this course holds the water, fairways were nothing but mud, bad enough that I ruined a pair of shoes. The greens were wet and soft. Bunkers were either small ponds or rock hard.
The layout was interesting and fun, had some challenging holes but not too hard to cause frustration.
Our tee time was at 8:27am, at 8:20 we were (aggressively) rushed to the tee box by the Marshall, pace of play was decent for us but groups behind us were suffering as the day wore on. Being cart path only, foursomes stacked up will bring the pace to a halt. On the 15th tee box, the Marshall, asked us to pick up our pace while the foursome in front of us was still on the fairway. While understandable, the tone was a bit rude. We paid the same high green fee as those in front of and behind us, we were not playing slow by any means, even picking up or leaving errant shots, paying this much and being rushed along left a bad taste. Tour 18 knew it was cart path only, and the pace would be impacted, they should have spaced out the groups a little to accommodate.
Other than that, it was a nice course, and in better shape I would happily play it again.
This course is always top notch. Every part of this course amazes me every time I play it. Beautiful, challenging, and reasonably priced. You will not be disappointed.
Tour 18, is a fantastic course! I have payed it several times and enjoy it each time. Very challenging as you take on some of the most iconic holes on some of the greatest courses in the country. Do yourself a favor and play this course at least once, I promise you, you will come back! Located in Humble, TX. about 15 minutes from IAH.
We held our company golf tournament here this year and i was very impressed! Course was in great shape and very challenging to. The staff was very friendly and had everything set-up nicely for us. All of our employees and clients had a great time. I recommend this venue to anyone.
Great course, can be a little pricey. One of the pro shop attendants was super rude and was annoyed I asked him to match the price on golf now because we called and were closer to just go than to book online and they wanted to charge me an extra $15 per person in person than on golf now. I guess that employee would rather sit and do nothing than have guests return for future visits. It will probably be a while until I return for my 3rd visit just cause of him We had a great time on the course though, fun to experience.
Awesome course to play when it isn't busy, however they stack tee times extremely close together so at busy times you will see a group waiting to tee off on hole, another group in the fairway waiting to hit, and another froup on the green on just about every hole. Have played this course in under 3.5 hours have also been stuck out there for over 5.5 hours.
Great course, and superb hospitality...Cannot wait to give it another go! 🏌♂️ …
Great course, excellent condition. Staff very helpful and friendly
Great course! Staff was helpful at the clubhouse. Very slow play made the experience less than it should have been. Five and a half hour round, guys playing loud radios in their carts, and the group behind hitting in to us is just unacceptable. Why are there no Marshalls on this course? We finally let the group behind us play through even though we had to wait at almost every tee for the group in front to tee off, just because they were being jerks about it. Saw a lot of unrepaired ball marks on the greens and un-raked sand traps also. Made a four hour drive to play an awesome course, but will likely not return due to the rude people.
Amazing amount of work has been put into this course! Greens were in perfect shape and it is a stunning layout.
Cool golfing spot. Worth it if you get a good deal. Each hole is modeled after some of the popular PGA courses around the country including Pebble Beach, Oakmont and 3 holes from Augusta National. Challenging course and kept in decent shape
I love this course so much that I became a member and play twice a week. I am never bored playing here. The hole layout is amazing famous holes of great golf courses and are difficult. The new General Manager Jim has really been improving things on and around the course. Rain this year makes the course even better.
Tour 18 golf course is in good shape. Greens are fast fairways look good. Pace of play was slower than I like. Still is tolerable. We will be back soon.
I had a gift certificate that I had not had a chance to use. They honored the gift, and even gave me a gift card for the portion I could not use. After several hard freezes, the course is in winter condition, but the greens are in good shape for this time of year. I will return later this week to enjoy this course again in a tournament.
Great fun day today at Tour 18! Great weather, staff were great for the St. Monica's Food Bank Charity Tournament. Kudos to Hayley and Erica for taking such good care of us on the course!
Kinda fun but a bit gimmicky. Holes are decent replicas of the real thing, albeit a bit watered down to make them easier to play. Course in OK shape - tees good, fairways decent, greens patchy - but the very reasonable twilight rate makes this a good value recommendation for a few holes before dark. Don't know if greens issues are temporary - it was February after all - but resolve those and this would be outstanding value at the twilight rate.
Spectacular playing experience. Greens true and medium speed. Sand seems to have been replaced recently. Fairways were beautiful. Staff helpful and women friendly (except 18 :) ). Partner enjoyed combo tees for his handicap.
Great layout great condition except the bunkers had no sand. Nice staff.
This place is the best! My husband and I were searching for an affordable venue for our wedding and decided to check out Tour18. Tracy met us and talked us through everything, cost, what we wanted and what they could accommodate. We fell in love. Greg Flores kept us feeling comfortable with the planning process and gave us great advice and ideas to help us keep our budget on track. They made 6 plates of vegan pasta just for my vegan family and friends outside of the buffet food we had. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did to make our day as great as it was! I would do it all over again and not change one thing! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!
Now we can’t wait to start golfing!!
Great experience! Definitely worth playing!
Conditions could be better, but it's a great concept! Good value course.
What an absolutely beautiful and amazing golf course. The staff were all very nice as well. They always had a smile and were helpful. Their food is very good as well. Would absolutely love to go back again one day.
10/17/19 - course is in wonderful condition all around except the bunkers are under repair. Which they didnt tell me about before i paid for my round or when i reserved a tee time. But wonderful course..
Very nice course but has previously been on better condition. Hit balls at the small range. Hate the rubber mats. Good friendly service in the pro shop.
I played last week it a nice course but it not a true representation of the Master or Sawgrass they are all much smaller in size and missing some of the important things. I play the Disney course just two week earlier and the one they have is not even close to the something. The island green is nice but it a third the size of the one at Sawgrass and you can not see the putting surface from the tee box. The harbor town Hole #1 is missing the most important thing of all the water on the scorecard it show you it with water but there is no water at all. All and all it was ok but I would not waste my money on it again. I shot and 86 and played from the blue tees but we many course here at home just as nice and for less money.
I am very fond of Tour 18. The layout is quite challenging and while amateurs with 21+ handicaps will struggle if fairways are missed, even my son (who is lucky to break 110) had a great experience due to the excellent staff support, a beautiful course, and opportunity to compare the courses holes with the classics they emulate. Few courses have cart girls serving refreshments mid-week, and the available options did not disappoint.
Please note: I last played at Tour 18 in October 2016.
Awesome course, challenging and exciting!!!
Fun course to play, especially since all the holes are recreations of real PGA tour holes. But I do find it a bit expensive considering the course condition isn’t that much different from other less priced courses in the area. But overall I definitely recommend playing here.
Love working with the staff of Tour 18. They do a fantastic job running our tournament and luncheon was great. SPECIAL THANKS TO, Tracy, David, Darryn, and Gregg!
Vicki and HCS
While these holes are not exact replicas (possibly for legal reasons), they are incredibly close and certainly the closest I will come to playing these holes. What also stood out for me was, though this is a collection of holes from various courses, the course as a whole still plays well and flows as one set of 18 holes. This is no easy feat as overall playability is a vital part of course design. Also, while all of these holes are otherwise major PGA championship holes, they all were at the right level of interest, playability, and challenge. This is perhaps due to the fact that the weather is a lot calmer than the original locations, but the course is certainly very interesting for the weekend golfer.
The only knock, as others have also noted, is that the staff can be a little over-bearing, and customer service is not their #1 priority. What is priority for them is getting in as many groups as possible and that meant constant nagging to pick up pace even though we were right at or slightly ahead of the stated pace. We also encountered grounds-staff mowing and watering greens even as if we were hitting on to that green! Why would you tend the course on a weekend morning?
Still, none of this takes away from what is a very fun course to play.
Beautiful course, well manicured greens. Not a fan of all of the homes being built on some fairways, but I don't have to live here, just play. All in all a great facility will reasonable prices.
Best golf course in all of Houston.
it is my favorite course as of now!
I played there on Dec 6, 2012 after 1PM for only $21. WOW!! What a great course, at such a great price. The course was in great condition, and authentic to what I have seen on TV, when the pros play these famous holes.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The course was in excellent shape. The practice facilities were in good shape, and the clubhouse was clean.
Really cool place the holes are pretty similar to the real thing!
Great conditions all around. Fast carts and greens.
Challenging well maintained course with friendly staff. Very cool to play a replica of all the "famous" holes of the PGA tour. Cart girl was friendly and efficient as well as the proshop staff and starter.
Course is fun and in decent shape. Clearly needs some infrastructure work done soon. Yardage Mark's were hard to find and the boxes were not in good shape.
I was a bit skeptical about this place when I first heard about it; I was afraid it was going to be too gimmicky. Truth be told, I really liked the course and it was a lot of fun to play! The course was in good shape and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
Great course. Usually kept up really well. We go to a charity event here every year and have a great time playing a round of golf.
As always, the staff at Tour 18 has gone out if their way to accommodate the patrons. Never has a request been too big or too small in my experience. Thank you Darren and crew for everything you do!
Great day!! greens were fantastic fairways the same. No complaints
Had my 60th Birthday Golf and Dinner Party there this last week end and couldn't have been better!
Tracie and John set it up and all the staff from the golf marshall to the wait staff, it was all superb! Highly recommend having a party there - lots of personal attention and beautiful surroundings!
Thanks Again,
M.E. LaMontagne
Honestly the course was GREAT! the greens were in great condition. And the sands were well kept. Definitely a must try for anyone!
Great course, but why no beverage cart and no water stations on the various holes? I guess you have to drink out of the water hazards???
First time playing this course. It was nice. They made us play in a 5some otherwise it would be 5 stars
Course is in great shape. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Plenty of specials out there so don't take the rack rate.
My first time playing this course. I loved it and will play it next time I am in Houston. It is a very unique and challenging layout.
Leonard was very helpful this morning when my friend had us accidentally show up 2 hours before tee time. Leonard got us out an hour earlier and was very helpful in every way.
4 stars just because of construction. Always a great course... the greens could be rolled too imo.
If you follow the PGA Tour you will enjoy playing holes that are famous. The staff in the pro shop and bar were friendly.
One if the Best public golf courses in Houston.
Wow! I had a blast
Hands down my favorite course in the Houston area. Beautiful and diverse. A little higher than other courses, but well worth it.
Great track and a great collection of holes. I wish it was closer to my home ... Solid fun.
Great course. Super fun to play the variety of holes inspired by famous courses.
The course is in good condition and number 9 hole is back open after being redone for repairs.
We had a great time! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Tboxes, fairways and greens in great shape! I totally recommend it!
Great course, with surprisingly low fees. All the holes are copies of famous holes. My favorite is the 3 holes from Amen Corner.
Great course!! Challenging. Very fun. A bit wet, which was out of their control, all in all a great round for early March!
loved it even though the greens were aerated the week before.
Always fun to play. Can be very slow on weekends because people do not play from the proper tees. Move up people you are not in the PGA.
Christmas in excellent shape and exactly what you would expect it to be with the exception of the sand traps. Wonderful experience and enjoyed today greatly.
Greens were a bit slow, but they have Zing-Zang and Tito's vodka on the drink cart.
Dude I saw a double sun dog with sprites that day there... Amereicas Greatest Eighteen Holes is what the sign says and I had no reason o doubt.
This is one of my favorite golf courses outside of The Woodlands Tx. Wonderful course of simulated holes from some of the greatest golf courses in America.
Course has changed too much, too much construction in the area. Very distracting. Not looking natural anymore.
Great course hidden away in the pines. No highway or subdivision noises or nuisances here. Does a great job with tournaments also.
I love playing here the golf course is in great shape but they need to have a marshal every time I play here they will be one or two groups holding up the course.
Best course ever! Famous holes from all over the USA. Its a must play.
Some of the greatest holes in golf! Loved to play the TPC 17th although I lost a number of balls there :D
Some the best greens in Houston. Can't overstate how cool it is to play on replicated holes
Great Course for twlight rate they have. Used the GolfBoards for an extra 20 bucks. Would come back again.
Absolutely wonderful experience. Lives up to all the hype and expectations. The course was in great shape.
Great experience. Fun replica course. Did the best they could with limited geography here in Houston.
It's in great condition!
A great course good prices and very friendly service we did a tournament there recently and the staff were very professional.
Great course. Fair price. Well kept.
Course was very pretty and harder than expected.
Lovely course amen corner is amazing
Dave head pro was great, bartenders we're fun, course was a joy to play, I will be back
It was a great course in great shape!!
Nice place for a tournament
A little pricy but the course is usually in great condition
Super cool idea the front 9 is definitely better and would recommend!
Great course! I'll try their golf boards one day...
Amazing golf course!
Loved it, started slow but played great on the back. Sanded and aerated but still had fun.
I ll take my 30 footer birdie on hole #9 (TPC Sawgrass #17).
Easy to get there and nice course. Kid enjoys her tournaments there with friends.
Always great to play here. Their greens and bunker are almost perfect.
Very cool course. Nice layout and well maintained.
Very nice golf course and facility, with restaurant and private or party rooms, also accommodates handicap.
The course was in great shape. Extremely playable even for a beginner like myself.
Very nice course in great condition, will play here again soon.
Great course but it’s cart path only 80% of the time
Had a great round on a great course. Shall surely return.
Celebrated Bobby D's 80th birthday and Clemson Tigers won National Championship.
Played in under 4 hours and the course was in good shape for the most part.
Great course and good value if you can find it for ~$50
Great Course, many good looking holes.
Course is pristine and lush. Greens are too slow but otherwise flawless.
Paired with some gentlemen and enjoy the course and completely agree 👍 …
Nice venue for private parties. Very helpful planning staff. Nice golf course.
A fantastic day had by all, fantastic golf course, will definitely be back.
Great golf course.
Always in great shape
Challenging course!! Great staff! Needs some maintenance in some areas but dont we all?
Love this place. It's a lot of fun. Great condition
Course condition great, greens rolled well.
Very fun course to play...pace of play was only real drawback.
I love this place. It is in great shape and nice people...
Course is in great shape. Enjoyed the round.
Course is in great shape but was cart path only today
They are doing lots of upgrades. The landscape and clubhouse look great.
can you fish here? i don’t care if i get hit by a ball as long as i can fish.
Course was cool. The guy in charge of the carts was a little rude.

GREAT GOLF COURSE !!!!!!!!!
Great conditions
Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr gerne wieder.
