Beautiful golf course! Private golf course one of the best courses in Hawaii. Many LPGA championships are held in this site also. I also had dinner at the clubhouse and they had great food and various selection of the dishes and the drink.

Newly opened in area. The club house is new and full of options. The food is good for a club house, but i think they could do better. I tend to always sit at the bar so I can keep to myself while enjoying what’s on tv. The steak from the bar is great. The flavors and the tenderness of the meat make it worth it. Pair it was a glass of wine and you make a great evening light dinner before you go home. Just remember it’s a members club do you will need to find someone who is a member to relax.

Reflections restaurant at the club house at the Hoakalei Country Club open to the public in May and June 2019. Loved the lunch menu with special signature dishes. Had the curry loco moco, a twist on the local loco moco. It was very tasty and generous portion. We returned the next week for dinner along with many golfers after their round of golf. The restaurant was lively in the evening and this time we had sushi and cocktails. We had the Hoakalei roll and spicy tuna roll and were pleasantly surprised with the generous portion. We topped it off with lilikoi creme brule and haupia ice cream. They have a small beer selection which I hope will be expanded to include craft beers, and a large variety of wines. Members are able to store their own wines there also. It was a lovely evening watching the sunset as we left.

Nice place. Friendly staff. The course is very well taken care of. Nice carts. Parking is easy, too. Can tell this place high makamaka. They have a range and practice putting area. Food is really good, too.

This is one of the best kept courses on the island. Be mindful of the fact that you will need a membership or have a member accompany you. The pace of play is fantastic and the greens are in great shape. The staff here is very friendly as well. Overall, this is a great course to play on Oahu

Love the course, love the pool, significant amount of the staff is great. Some rules can be unnecessary and annoyingly enforced, yet other things (condition of cusions, random changing/restrictions on menu items) exist. Still 5 star review though.

I played in a benefit tournament and it was the first time on the course since the clubhouse was built. The course is in great condition but the paspalum grass, especially around the greens, continues to give me problems. The clubhouse looks fantastic, the food is good. Now, if only it weren't in Ewa Beach....

While they are still in trailers, the country club course is in great condition. The greens are medium fast and are very well kept. The fairway is very nice but the edges on out have very deep grass that grabs your club. Challenging course with lots of water and beach. I was having a horrible day but it was still a very nice course. Staff is friendly also.

Absolute best golf course on the island hands down. The architecture and design of the course by Ernie Els is spectacular. There's a risk reward situation in almost every shot that makes you bring your A game or spend the majority of your round scrambling. It is fair yet very challenging, rewarding and also punishing in the same breath. The course condition is immaculate and picturesque. The amenities offered are rivaled by pretty much no one. In my opinion you couldn't play a better course than this one. This is a private golf club so you would need to be a member or the guest of a current member in order to play here... but if you ever get the chance, don't pass it up!!

We had dinner at Reflections tonight and had lunch there on Tuesday. The service is very good and they strive to make you feel special. We had the prime rib for dinner and the portion size was large and the quality of the cut was very good. They need to have a small dinner salad as their garden salad can easily feed 4 people. I thought they had a dress code for dinner but we dined next to a person in a Tshirt shorts and slippers. Except for that a very nice atmosphere. The limited menu was even shorter tonight as they did not have the pork and airline chicken available. We'll be back.

Believe this golf course should be shared w/ the public. However, don’t know how long this could stay private and continuing operating only by members. All courses suffering, but it’s the guest that pay the most to play and support Hoakalei course.

Visited on Mother's day, ate lunch there with family. Foods were good. Good taste, friendly service and a welcoming beautiful environment. The only thing that didn't reach my expectation was the poke( sashimi) weren't cold enough, but it tasted good. Will be going back there some other time.

Great experience at the new club. Beautiful surroundings & amenities. Very pricey, hence a demerit for not being a good value. Is this a private club or can the general public golf & dine? I went as a guest of a member & could not determine.

A bit farther from downtown Honolulu but a nice golf club with good good. Course is fun and usually in good shape.

The course looks tame even though it has a lot of water. It plays longer than the yardage book and is a surprisingly huge test on your short game. Conditions were mostly what you would expect on a private club. The trades were mild and only gusted to 10-15 mph but it is open enough to really affect your ball flights. As you might expect, the shorter par 4's and par 5's greens were diabolical and this course really makes you think about many shots from tee to green. I think the most interesting part is the grass surrounding the greens. It is Seashore Paspalum grass that is extremely difficult to chip from (it is not bermuda, kikuya, poa, etc.). It may only be from quarter of an inch to 3 inches tall, but it just grabs your club and stops it and the ball from going anywhere. Distance control around the greens was nearly impossible either being short or long most of the time even though they were only stimping at 9 that day and I was told they are usually 12 but were aerated a few weeks prior. I shot 14 over my handicap but most of it was due to trying to get used to the course in the front 9. Played a little better on the back 9 but still just a lot tougher course than it looked/seemed. All staff members from pro shop, starter and "restaurant" are very nice and accommodating.

Attended small gathering for my granddaughters BDay at the Reflections Restaurant. From the food,drinks & service everything was excellent. I will definitely be back & will reccomend this Restaurant to all I know.

A must come for the Restaurant. The food was exquisite and the wait staff was 10/10. The atmosphere was a perfect setting and calm. Made the food more enjoyable and they are the best I had in a long time. I'll be returning for more.

Very nice, breezy, elite neighborhood. This is the best development done in Ewa Beach by far. This was the homeless hideout back in the days, now it's very beautiful and clean.

I've played Hoakalei Many times in 2013 in March/ April and again in Oct / Nov. The staff are very courteous and professional, they make you feel at home. The course though new is in excellent condition and to me it is one of the the best track on Oahu. Of course Turtle bay is still right up there. However, this is much better than Ko Olina and the friendliness of staff beats Ko Olina hands down. Over the next years as the flora will further grow up and make this new course a beauty. It is private and I use the Palmer Platnimum program to play and the price is great!!! Also the bar / restaurant area though outside is nice and the food is great! A Hallmark course for the Arnold Palmer courses, my hats off to the staff from the GM, Pro Shop, Grounds Keepers and Kitchen staff.

Golf Course is excellent. There is no restaurant. There is no Clubhouse. This is a private golf course. Outsiders are discouraged from playing there.

Membership system. . A golf course that Japanese people are delighted with. Three years ago, the trailer house clubhouse is now splendidly completed and turned into a national women's golf course. The clubhouse has a pool, a restaurant, and a shop, and it is clean and complete. . The practice field is wide and spacious, and the courses are well-maintained, and there are many wonderful courses. wow I understand why the LPGA is being held here. Like a prestigious golf course with membership, every hole is art, from carpet-like fairways to green management. Among the golf courses I've been to in the US, it's like Korea. It's the first time I've seen a golf course with locker rooms and showers and toilets in a 5-star hotel. Even the golf course makes me feel like I have to take my shoes off. It looks like it is hanging on a soft and fluffy carpet, and every hole is unique. is designed Some holes have bunkers and hazards that make it difficult for even a pro to dig. Surrounded, some halls seem easy, but danger lurks —- First of all, the fairway is wide and there is no obi even with a good driver. It was nice not to be stressed. Personally, I prefer Ko Olina Golf Course or Kapolei Golf Course. It was better in every way Highly recommended if you plan to play golf while visiting Hawaii.

It's a great golf course to visit. The golf club is also beautiful. The golf driving range is also spacious and you can hit directly from the grass. It is fully equipped with approach, bunker and putter practice. The golf course is a very difficult course with sea breeze and long distance. The course is well maintained and a pleasure to play. After the round, you can have a drink at the clubhouse bar, which is great. Recommended golf course!

KAWAI H

The green is ridiculously fast, about 7,400 yards if you hit it from fullback. I think that it is a challenging course for advanced players. There are also middle and short courses with nice views that make good use of the pond, but in terms of the overall atmosphere, Ko Olina is more vacation-like and Hawaiian-like, so it was good for me, a Japanese person 😃

As it is a membership golf course, the general public must get help from the member, so the price has risen to $250 per person. It's quite long and wide, and the greens are tricky, so the score isn't good, so just enjoy it... I shot 81 with 9 bogies... The clubhouse is currently under construction and is expected to open in May next year.

It was my second round. As always, the scenery is wonderful, but the score is tattered and really difficult. We are looking forward to getting the clubhouse up and running soon.

The clubhouse is under construction but the course is great. Creeks and bunkers are used a lot, so I think it's a pretty tough course. There is a practice field in the back, but it is difficult to find the place unless you ask the staff to guide you. They lend me an ipad and I can see the course guide with GPS.
