First and foremost the pace of play was extremely fast. I played on a week day and actually played by myself for a few holes. I caught up to some people and ended up joining their group, which was nice because I don’t like playing solo. The practice chipping and putting greens are in great shape, but sadly they don’t have a driving range to warm up on. The course overall was in good condition but it’s a ways off from Honolulu so if you’re staying there you might want to rent a car or find a closer course.

Had a great round at Ewa Beach Club. My wife and I played just the 2 of us. Ended up catching up with people in front of us about 6 holes in. Course is in great condition. Greens are fast. Multiple holes with water. No ocean views. No driving range but has chipping and putting practice holes. Would definitely come back and felt price was a fair for the value.

Great course , highly recommended but do be VERY CAREFUL for guys in da bushes! DO NOT LEAVE your cart unattended! Holes 12/13 is where we saw the guys ahead get snatched.

Great condition! No beach views however that can be misleading but loved the layout and pga feel it had! Friendly staff, got me out as a single in 30 min. Played from the tips and it was a challenge without wind. Would definitely go back!!

Beautiful course, the carts have big touchscreens with GPS to show you distance to hole. They can get annoying with locking up if you drive somewhere you’re not supposed to. Great experience, would highly recommend.

By far and away the best manicured public course on the island. There tee boxes look like some greens at other courses on Oahu. Dead grass doesn’t exist and the greens are some of the best on Oahu. The employees are professional and really seem to care about the course and you. Ewa is set up European styles so you won’t see the clubhouse till 18. There is a snack bar at 9, but not really stocked very well. The only grip I have are the bunkers, very little sand in them. Have fun folks. It’s a great course.

Administrative Support

We got married there! The view of the ocean right across the street! I love the club house restaurant, on the 2nd floor you can see the ocean too. The food is amazing but it OPENS only from 11-5pm.

Great course, greens and fairways were very nice. Pro shop staff was friendly. Only gave 4 stars because of the terrible attitude of the starter. My friend just asked him why they didn't have coolers on the golf cart. Starter said, "This is Ewa bro." We replied with "every other course that cost $75+ to play have coolers on the cart." He then got really aggressive and says, "if you don't like it you can play somewhere else!" I'm sorry but I was in the service industry for 15 years and that is definitely not how you talk to your guests. What the heck is this guy's problem?

Always an awesome time. Staff is friendly. They have no quarrels if people cancel reservations to get you on the course as quickly as possible. Beautiful greens, scenic water and landscapes, and designed well to keep even the worst shots still playable.

Had a great time watching my husband play. Nice way to end our trip before heading back home to mainland. Beach right across from club. Hidden gem if yoy have a car and need to spend time before flying home. Beautiful sunset too

Beautiful, well maintained course! The greens are very challenging, every hole. If you aren't within 15 feet plan on two putting. Someone welcomes you at your car and puts the bags in the cart, which is always nice. The carts are electric with GPS. Overall this was a great experience

Just make sure you don't get stuck behind tourist because its easy to get lost. Or stuck behind people who think they hit the long ball but they can't pass the white tees from the blue.

This is a very solid west side destination to come and play a round of 18. The fairways are in solid condition all the time. The bunkers are strategically placed for challenging approaches. The 19th hole is a bit outdated but still a great place to wrap up a Saturday round with a drink!

The course is in good condition right now. The staff members are helpful and friendly. We had a flat tire on the golf cart at hole #5 and they came very quickly to replace our cart. We were able to keep our place. The restaurant has a view of the ocean, they have a good menu, large portions and good quality food. Our waitress was very friendly and worked hard to serve our table.

Probably one the best manicured golf courses on Oahu but one downside. Only downside is its very very pricey. I heard it turned into a private golf course so members only. I guess I won't be playing there again.....lol

Course is in beautiful shape, greens are fairly quick and undulating which is a challenge. Covid precautions are practiced here. The snack shop in the middle of the course is open and I believe the restaurant is open as well although I did not go upstairs to check that out. Restrooms are clean and there are also restrooms on the course which is always a plus. All the employees we encountered were friendly and most helpful. They have a very nice array of trendy golf clothes in their pro shop, a little spendy, but very attractive. Give it a try.

Played thiss course 7/29/17 and to be honest it was a revelation.We had a superb deal which included club hire and free shuttle to and from Waikiki. Upon arrival the staff in the clubhouse were superb explaining what we needed to do and where to collect our cart and clubs. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we received a great pack with tees ball marker pencil and course guide. The course itself was in excellent condition and was not overbooked so we enjoyed the experience. The greens were absolutely superb and ran very true and fast. The shop is very well stocked and had some great bargains. I cannot praise this golf course enough. A great experience from start to finish and well worth a visit. Thanks

Course is in fantastic shape. Greens roll true and fast. Only problem i have is the keawe tree branches hangs over the fairways. Shouldn't be penalized for a great drive in the fairway.

A fun little course to play, weather was good but very hot and humid, seemed as though the area holds a lot of heat, not a lot of good choices for refreshments and snacks and the club house closed before it's allotted time, so unfortunately couldn't give a full 5, but the course is nice to play.

Beautiful course, fast greens, landscaped very well. Three stars is because the pace of play is ridiculous. Be prepared to play a six hour round here. Zero marshal involvement to promote a good pace. It’s impossible to get into a rhythm because you’re waiting so much. $160 for visitors, $73 for locals.

Great golf day on a fairly demanding course. We probably over reached by playing the blue tees on a day with little roll. The keawe trees make the course extra narrow due to low possibility of your ball being able to go thru them. The greens were in great shape but fast.

Golf course has almost perfect conditions. The layout is a bit wierd with how the holes are routed. Plays very tough in the wind. Greens are fast and very well maintained. Strategy is very important. You need to plan around not having a tree in your way for your approach shot. Didn't really have any beach views considering how close it is to the ocean.

I went there to celebrate at their restaurant with friends at least 3 times after Church and it took a long wait to get our orders. It costs alot and the quality of the food wasn't great . They have great views of the area . It's a bit noisy but they have great bathrooms and a elevator.

The place is well maintained and the other golfers are nice. If your new to golfing they don't rush you as you struggle. However, proper etiquette is expected even for newbies.

This course is perfect, however the only reason I give it a three star is there is no driving range. For a high handicapper like myself...hitting balls before you go out is imparitive. The fairways are the norrowest I have seen on the island. The greens are very well kept. I played this course about 7 months ago so if it has changed, sorry. The clubhouse and staff are great, very helpful.

I don't go here for the golf. The 5 stars are for the restaurant. I was super impressed with the variety of their menu. I've been here a couple of times for lunch and early dinner. The food and service didn't disappoint. The portions were pretty big and the prices are reasonable. I've had the agadashi tofu and kimchee sides. I also tried the teriyaki beef special and hamburger steak. So yummy! They don't open late (6:30p or 7pm...check their website), so if you're ever down in Ewa Beach go for lunch or an early dinner. View of the beach and golf course are nice as well.

Day in and day out the best conditioned public course on Oahu. Great greens, great fairways, tons of evil trees, a fun layout and good 19th hole. Only complaint 11 and 12 feel crammed into the course. Robin Nelson did a great job in Ewa Beach.

This is a very nice golf course in spite of my inability to play well here. For me, it's the lack of a driving range, combined with some of the stickiest Paspalum grass in Hawaii. Chipping is tricky and putting from the collar is problematic. The restaurant is very good.

Perfect 👌 place to have a relaxing meal. Food is excellent and the prices are fairly cheap for the amount of food they serve you. If you love tofu they got the best agadashi tofu. But when you order this make sure they are 4 or more of you sharing because the portions are big. The steam blackbean basa is to die for. The best garlic fries enough for 3 or more people. Got to try the pupu style garlic chicken with the sauce on the side. The Chinese crispy pork with tomatoes and onions is better than Thema's. Make sure you tell them not to crispy. When you sit down you look out on one side to the ocean and the other side over looking the golf course. The workers are very friendly and efficient.

I couldn't make a reservation for Waikele and visited for the first time. I struggled with the greens this time, especially around the cup and the grass, but it was a very enjoyable course. Since the course name is Eva Beach, it is even better if you can see the sea and feel like a resort.

Third time this time at the end of August. Since Honolulu Airport is close, planes preparing for landing and fighter planes of the US Air Force pass over the sky quite frequently. I'm an airplane lover, so I can only see the sky. I like the golf course. The first course has ruins. It's good that the price is cheaper.

Course condition is good for the price It's quite far, taking more than 50 minutes from the humble Waikiki accommodation... The biggest downside is that it is close to the airport, so you can hear the airplane roar from time to time and the play is cut off.

Well maintained course and greens. The scenery is also good. The green speed is also fast. However, it takes about 4 hours and 20 minutes because the sound of the plane is loud and the progress is slow. It's less noisy than the Hawaiian Prince, but it's close when air planes are flying. No GPS

There are many good golf courses in Ohahu, but this is Fairways and greens are both great golf courses. A good cost-effective golf course that you can feel more wonderful scenery and fresh feeling if you round with tee-up in the morning.

Crowded The group in front is a group of 5 Koreans. If possible, I thought I should pass because there were two holes in front of me. The course is flat and short with no changes. If possible, it would be better to play from the black tees at the back. Black is about 6.800 yards.

Comes with a wonderful lawn that is hard to find in Japan. It's fluffy even though everyone is driving in a cart. Some holes have a view of Pearl Harbor but no beach view. It's easy to make a reservation, and you can enjoy local at a reasonable price.

Every year, I use it to kill time from arriving at the airport to checking in at the hotel. Although the course looks easy, it is often blocked by trees and ponds everywhere. Beautiful course in general.

There is a ruin on the 1st course. spacious. little incline. The lawn is well maintained and the carts are stress free. Even when there are staff who can speak Japanese at the counter. I can't help it, but it's far away.
