For February golf this was a good experience. Only $16 to walk nine and friendly golf shop staff. No complaints.

Back 9 holes were pretty challenging. My only gripe is with the price and conditions of some of the greens. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Rental clubs were pieced together sets.

I have played a number of rounds here this year. Nice course. Great pricing for the Senior or East Hartford resident at 13 dollars for 9 holes. I have a huge appreciation for that sort of a deal these days. Seniors often need all the help they can get ! The course is kept in decent condition . It can be tough to play in some areas when wet from rain so I prefer to play it dry. Green's are pretty consistent and give you a fair chance to hole it. Times that I wanted to ride by myself because of Covid 19 I was not given a hard time with extra fees either. I appreciated that consideration. I have also taken note that their membership fees are reasonable as well. I actually have to call this one at 4 1/2 stars out of 5. Pretty darn good. Joe

Not too wet. Fairways are wide and open. Pace of play was reasonable.

We played 18 this weekend and were very pleased with the condition of the course. Greens were in great shape and running nice and fast. I don't remember the course looking this nice! Wanted to drop a review and recognize the hard work they must be putting in over there. Highly recommended! Great value.

You can always find a tee time and it’s super cheap, not much more to ask for. Everyone in the pro shop is super friendly. Not an overly challenging course but some tricky, quirky holes. Course is in good shape but the aerated greens are a bit frustrating right now.

I can't complain I live about a mile from this place and so much fun to play golf whenever I could and the staffs very friendly and flexible. The restaurant also a good place to hangout after the game.

When booking online I can understand last minute cancellations should be charged but 9 hours ahead of a tee time cancellation and still charged is a bit much. A credit would be even appreciated . Very disappointing especially when it will be re-booked during a prime time for people to play. Still a good course but a little more flexibility due to unforeseen circumstances during this time would be considerate.

Played there over this past weekend. After a couple rainy days, the course was in good condition. Course is long, but very forgiving. Greens are well maintained and clean. Easily in my top three courses, if not my number one. I will be coming back!

Fun course! Some of the rough/fairways have dead spots but the greens are in nice shape and the rates are good. One of my favorite places to play in the Hartford area!

Very friendly staff and well maintained greens. The course is uninspiring in that it's basically a wide open field. The fairways need some work and generally speaking it's a second rate course. It might be good for those new to the game cause it'd be tough to lose a ball, but the rates are the same as everywhere else so what's the draw? Cut the prices in half & I'll be back, otherwise I'll pay the same amount for a first class course elsewhere.

Hello there, I'm not here to give you a review for the golf course because the course is already AWESOME! I'd give you a 5 star for the course BUT today we went into the restaurant and it'd be the last time to go in. I've been in a restaurant industry for over 20 years, I've trained many servers, bartenders, hosts you name it. Today my server didn't even acknowledge us or say hi when we sat down. There was one other table and us total of 2 tables. She took our order didn't crack one smile, we got our food, didn't crack a smile, didn't check on us, no refilled on our drinks and we had to ask for our check after we paid she didn't even say thank you or bye...just NOTHING!!! Why are you there if you hate your job that much? I just don't understand how do people work in customer service and act like customers are bothering her time. If you're not a people person please find a new job, this isn't for you especially if you expect people to tip you?? At least learn how to smile or say hi or bye. This upsets me just because I'm in the business and please don't come up with "she has a bad day" I'm sorry that's not "customers problems" leave it at home before you go in to work. This is CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Good golf course, but they are lazy with keeping the course clean. Lawn trimmings are horrid and all over the course, there honestly should he a discount with how bad it is after they mow. It's also very swampy in some area's, because they dont have good draining, also making it a ruff experience. Other than that is a fun course, with fast challenging greens, that most people will have a fun time at! But there course does not deserve 5 stars with how its maintained.

Improvements from 2015 to 2016 are everywhere. I was reluctant to play the course after the past several years. Now I look forward to not only playing but also lunching. The staff has also improved greatly. Keep up the great job!

I played East Hartford (from the blue tees) today for the first time and had an enjoyable round and a good value for the price. East Hartford is of average difficulty (somewhat forgiving) and challenging length and the layout is interesting. The course is in very good condition despite the fact that they have just airated the greens. I'll definitely be back

Cheap but the greens are not well groomed. Lots of leaves not cleaned up so it's challenging to find your ball in many cases.

They got a good thing going on here. The choices of food and drinks are great, the service is very friendly. I'm hooked for lunch and after work. I highly recommend The One Wood Pub.
