One of the Top 10 Golf course I've played in the world. The best exferior clubhouse design that fits in perfect with its surroundings. One a Ceasars property you knew it was always in great condition. Now a Vicci property you can expect top quality golf, service, and food. Also the new home to the PGA Champions Rapiscan Systems Classic. You may even encounter some deer while playing.

This is a really nice course that is pretty difficult. The greens are amazing. I love putting on them. it was really tough on some of them to get your ball to stay on the green from the approach shot. Beautiful course, but be careful going into the woods looking for your balls. The thorn bushes will get you.

First time playing. Welcoming and professional staff. Great trek. The course is in great condition. It was busy with a 5 hour round on a beautiful Tuesday morning in December (I guess everyone had the same idea we did ). We’ll be back.

Amazing clubhouse, service was wonderful, staff friendly and helpful. Beautiful course with deer foraging. Many water features and challenging holes. Was a bit cool, windy and wet. We went after a big storm passed through, love to see this course in peak season.

Annual guys golf trip. Great challenging course, good luck putting is all I can say, super fast greens. Beautiful club house, good food and bar selection. Definitely get the bloody mary if morning tee time.

Great experience! Michael McMenamin really helped me alot with my golf swing. He also recommended a club that would suit me better in my game. Next time anyone comes to this course make sure you ask for Michael McMenamin. Just don't ask him about his favorite sports teams!

Wow. Just wow. These guys really know how it's done. We were welcomed so graciously by all staff. We have never played this course, but they made us feel right at home. Don't let the less expensive greens fees steer you away. We've payed double (sometimes triple) in fabulous Myrtle Beach and this place puts them all to shame. Theresa, the bar tender/club house server was an absolute delight. Doyle, the starter, was exceptionally welcoming and offered wonderful conversation and jokes. The course itself was absolutely beautiful!!! It's nestled in some sort of forest reserve, but trust me, the drive (about 35 min from Biloxi) is absolutely worth it. If you ever stay in Biloxi and are looking for a wonderful course, this is the place to go. (They also offer military discount which allowed my husband and myself to play 18 for $100) Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Check it out, you won't regret it! Oh, and the food was surprisingly delicious! (We are pretty picky cooks ourselves) I got the Roast Beef Poboy and the hubby got the Grand Bear Club...yummm.

Really fun course! A nice challenge but not too challenging. The course is surrounded by forest on each side every hole, but it’s wide enough that it’s normally not a big danger. Greens were firm, but not incredibly fast. Sand traps were beautiful!

Although Biloxi, MS is best known for its beaches and casinos, its appeal to golfers and golf travelers is growing quickly. Coastal Mississippi has some amazing and stunning golf courses, with plenty of courses for the public to play, numerous restaurants to eat at, and the opportunity to win big at one of the many casinos. It’s a chance for a hole-in-one and a million-dollar jackpot all in the same day! There are 12 courses immediately in the Biloxi area; several more if you don’t mind putting a few miles on the rental car. Here’s my take on a few of them. Grand Bear was designed by – you guessed it – Jack Nicklaus. I think he’s designed the majority of courses that have “Bear” in the name! Grand Bear is built on more than 650 acres of rolling land within the DeSoto National Forest with pine trees that come into play on several holes and lots of pine straw to hit out of. You’ll also be challenged as you wind your way through natural cypress wetlands towards championship TifEagle greens protected by deep bunkers. Grand Bear is considered by many to be one of the most spectacular courses in the South. It also has the longest driveway of any course I’ve ever encountered – 6 miles into the forest. No two holes parallel another and you won’t find any homes, roads, or other common distractions; it’s just you, Grand Bear, and that little white ball! When it comes to dining options, you can’t go wrong with what each of the casinos has to offer: incredible buffets as well as high-end steakhouses. Get outside the casinos and head into the towns of Ocean Springs and Biloxi and I have a couple of suggestions. Patio 44 in Biloxi is known for its fresh take on classic Creole-style dishes that incorporate the freshest ingredients available from the Delta and Gulf Coast regions, dishes like shrimp and grits, fried catfish tacos, and seafood gumbo. The Buckhead Certified Angus Beef they serve is aged for a minimum of 21 days. Patio 44 also offers one of the most unique – and delicious – appetizers I’ve ever had. Their Debris Fries are a “southern take” on Canadian poutine. Perfectly cooked French fries with braised beef trimmings, brown gravy, and melted cheese, garnished with green onions. It’s a must! Maison de Lu is Ocean Springs is another great choice. New Jersey native Luann Ellis left the snow and headed for Gulf Coast over 20 years ago and now calls Ocean Springs home. Maison De Lu is located in the heart of downtown Ocean Springs and serves some interesting creations. The Goat Cheese Torte is delicious; layered with sundried tomatoes and pesto and served with warm pita chips. The New Zealand Rack of Lamb is sliced into chops and served with the sauce du jour. The side dishes are amazing; Roasted Red Beets, Roasted Mushrooms and Onions, and a great alternative to potatoes, Twice Baked Cauliflower. This is just a brief glimpse into everything Coastal Mississippi has to offer golfers. From great drives on the course to short drives to everything you want to do off the course, The Secret Coast has got you covered.

Had a great Saturday here as part of a bachelor trip this past weekend. The course was beautiful, carts had GPS, and all staff were very professional. Tyson was our starter and Brandy at the pro desk was very sweet and had a great sense of humor :). I highly recommend playing here for anyone visiting the Biloxi area! Well worth the 40 min drive.

Best course around on the Mississippi gulf coast. Friendliest staff you will ever meet and just one of the best layouts. This course is in the middle of the Desoto national forest and is secluded away from civilization which makes it a great golf experience.

The assistant Pro does not answer your emails or phone calls his name is Jonathan Walker, Alan the pro is absolutely awesome. The course is very pretty and a great course so I give it three stars due to the assistant Pro not answering phone calls or returning emails. My suggestion is get you a new assistant Pro

Fantastic facility. The grounds are kept impeccable and you may see wildlife like deer, eagles and rabbits. Not a big fan of the golf cart governor during cart path only but it did protect the fairways when wet. Fun and beautiful course.

What a beautiful course. Service superb! Lost my iPhone on hole 5. They found it on course Mike a starter fed cedar it to me next day to Houston. Such good service. Course was in great shape and very fair if you play from correct tees. Tiger tees tough and greens very very fast. Don’t be above the hole is all I can say. Would highly recommend this course if you are in the area.

What a great experience! Staff was very friendly, driving range was fantastic, electric carts, concrete paths and a beautiful layout. Jack did a very nice job making golf rewarding and tough! I played in Feb so the grass was a little spotty but come April, I’m sure the course will be impeccable!! Can’t wait to come back for another round!

The best way to explain this 5 star course. Red Carpet treatment from the moment you step out of your vehicle until the moment you are getting back in. Plush greens and fairways. Drains extremely well and their carts are state of the art. Challenging yet forgiving with very wide fairways. A most play if you are in the area, you won’t regret it.

New Rates / Some Greens Struggling - Played with a group there Sunday 21st March. New rate is $117.00 per golfer with cart (includes tax) that surprised us (used to be $99). Course overall was in very good shape - however we were surprised to see some issues on a couple greens (dead spots with sand covering them). We play the course several times a year and this is the first time we have seen problems with the greens. Wind Dance - very close to Grand Bear - is $49.00 if you have a players card from the Palace Casino. It was in better shape than Grand Bear on this outing.

Only reason not 5 stars, all employees besides the starter didn't seem friendly or informative at all. Played a lot of courses and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting.

In the middle of a National Forest. Six miles to the nearest house. This is an unbelievable location. Truly spectacular. Groomed. I don't know when they do maintenance. We never heard a car, lawnmower or weed eater. We teed off at 720 am and every green was already mowed. Not a wet dew mark on any green.

In addition, the folks who maintain the course keep it in stellar condition - pristine sand, rough surrounds course and bunkers, perfect tee boxes, this course is truly amazing.

Played yesterday. Temp was low 80’s. Staff was excellent - everyone was friendly and helpful. Course was surprisingly unchallenging. Very ...plain...disappointing; though in good condition. The back tees added length, but not difficulty. Not a signature hole on the course - really nothing memorable at all. I called 6 weeks ago to assure that there would be decent rental clubs to avoid the whole shipping hassle. Could have found better clubs at any yard sale - was told that they were waiting for the “new” ones to arrive. Again, the people were great, the experience - not so much.

Its a beautiful course and the clubhouse is, as well. The layout is pretty tough, but the greens roll true and the fairways are in nice condition. The only issue is that its pretty expensive. You can play at a comparable course in the area for almost half the price (The Oaks or Shell Landing, for example).

If you want remote and one of the best courses out their - this is it. We really enjoyed the course, food was very good and great clubhouse. Pace of play for the afternoon was very slow, as most group replay and they just jam them between groups. I'd probably try to get out as early as possible if replaying.

The staff is amazing, they are extremely friendly and professional, the pro shop is just a beautiful place to just hang out in if don't golf, but i recommend checking out their discount bin, lots of great deals. The course is an absolute jem in my opinion, i will be back numerous times.

This is a nearly great golf course in a gorgeous, secluded setting, with an extremely fine clubhouse. In my view it is the best course on the gulf coast between New Orleans and Pensacola, with Kiva Dunes a pretty close second.

Friendly staff, prompt service. Went in the ‘worst’ season weather wise and course was in great shape. Fast greens, flat tee boxes, nice fairways and bunkers. A pleasure to play. Course is very fair as far as hazards and penalty areas, size of fairways and greens etc.

Mississippi is not where I would go to golf but this place is awesome. Grass is well kept and course is never too busy to get a round in. Beer is cheap (how its supposed to be).
