No driving range. No drinking water available on course. Water fountains have been removed and not replaced. The course itself is beat up. Fairway has unfixed divots. Only primary cut. An inch off the fairway you will find an assortment of conditions. No grass, crab grass thick grass. Around the greens also in bad shape. The course condition deteriorates each year. Greens have many unfixed ball marks. Bunkers are new on pines and wood course. Lakeside bunkers are terrible. Pace of play is 4.5-5 hour round on weekends. The issue is the three different nines which makes the round inconsistent. Your front nine could be 2 hours pace of play, but your back nine is 2.5 hour pace which is frustrating. You never know what your back nine will be like pace of play wise. You could be going from the 9th to 10th hole and have to all of a sudden wait 15 minutes because new groups are teeing off.

Excellent Public Course & Awesome Customer Service. Absolutely loved the course!! What a great layout!! The tee boxes, fairways, & rough were all in outstanding condition!! The Greens rolled beautifully, & had some pace to them. The Entire Staff there was A+ with a special thank you to Head Golf Professional - Mike Gorham who went above & beyond with excellent customer service!! If you haven't played Blue Hill Golf Course, I highly recommend you do!!!

For a public course it is in amazing shape. They offer 3 9 hole courses. If your like me, you will enjoy the open fairways. I finished 18 an only lost one ball in the water. I am a high 90's golfer.

The staff are friendly, the clubhouse is very nice, cold drinks and a nice menu. As far as the golf course. The price for a round of golf is way to much for a course in this condition. The fairways are okay but way to many unfilled divits. The greens are mostly in good condition, they are quick and roll true. However the rough along the fairways and around the green is in bad shape. Weeds and gnarly grass throughout. I played here years ago and it was one of the best courses around. How sad to see the condition now and how it has regressed. I'll spend less money and play other courses in better condition. Sad!

Enjoy playing here. Different challenges from all three nines. Pace of play could be better on weekends, especially early morning. Staff is nice and accommodating, course is in really good shape (even though some golfers should take more care with ball mark repairs). You will enjoy your round here and a cold one afterwards at The Castle.
