Great place for some mini golf or to practice on the driving range. Staff is always friendly. The club house is updated and is clean. They also serve alcohol as well if you want to crack one during your practice. Multiple different sized basket of balls and well priced.

This was a great course for kids and adults. The landscaping is very pretty and it's nice to have some shaded areas and benches.

It was a very quiet, clean area to go on a little mini golf date! The staff is friendly and the equipment is cleaned regularly. The course is very well maintained, and the thoughtfulness put into landscaping the course shows!

Loved it very quiet open if you need to go to the driving range this is a good place for solitude recommend you visit and it's very inexpensive you can get a few balls for under 10 dollars

Came to play 18 holes. I kept score. We finished the 18th. I looked at the scorecard and say, "Wait, my scorecard says we are on 14." Not sure how I got us lost on a mini golf course but it happened.

Great little place on the south side of Des Moines to hit some balls at the range or do a bit of mini-golfing. The mini-golf course is fairly basic, but well kept up. The driving range is all in one row, spaced well, and can accommodate a surprising number of people. The staff is nice, this place was everything I wanted when we stopped by to try it.

Needed to pay a little more attention to detail on the putting greens. The course was fine, however, should be out there vacuuming the greens a little bit more often. A little pricey as well. $10 for an adult and only one dollar less for children. Should be at least $3 less per child. However, nice memories to make with the family.

Well laid out. Plenty of slots. Hitting off grass. All target greens have one or two bunkers. Very friendly staff. Nice practice area for chipping with long medium and short distance bunkers. A very good putting green, well-maintained. This place is a bargain! You could stay out here all day.

This was a fun place to go. They had a drink and snack bar next to the mini golf area, which was a plus. Each hole on the course was entertaining. We liked the water features and how well it was lit at night.

Absolutely loved the mini golf course. One of the most clean and manicured courses I have ever played on. You can tell by the landscaping and artificial turf that someone really cares and takes pride in the course. My family played a total of 4 games over a couple weeks time. We would have appreciated more then a $1.00 discount however since we were the only people playing on Tuesday 9/14/17. Still had a great time. People were always very friendly and easy to talk with. Will be back again.

An 18 hole miniature golf course...these seem to be a dying sport. Only a few listed in Des Moines area. Miss the fun, windmill things that used to be at these places.

An absolutely amazing place. They have 4 stages to golf from, and it's nicely rotated so you always have grass to drive from. They have a large chipping course and a nice putting green. The staff is amazing! Joe is very attentive, and Sarah is a world class instructor. This place also has a great put put golf course.

Nice minigolf course. 18 holes, some challenge but nothing crazy (would be fine for kids). Well maintained and a nice outdoor activity for a nice evening. Pretty affordable, three of us played for about $25 bucks.

Easily the best practice facility and mini golf course in central Iowa. The staff is friendly and helpful and the grounds are well maintained. A putting green, chipping area, and sand traps give the serious golfer a complete practice experience. The 18 hole mini golf course is beautifully landscaped. It is challenging for the serious player but very playable and fun for the whole family. Having lights for both the range and the mini golf course completes the package. I will be returning many times in the near future.

We have played the miniature golf and ised the driving range. It's a great way to spend some family time. Grounds are well maintained and we were able to maneuver my son's wheelchair through the miniature course.

My son and I drove about 200 miles to golf at this specific mini golf course. He loves mini golf! I had researched online all Iowa mini golf courses the week before we came to West Grand Golf. This one stood out as being something special. It was a fantastic experience for us and we would highly recommend it!

I have been here a number of times over the years and have never had any problems or bad experiences. It's a nice little driving range the pricing is reasonable I normally get the jumbo which I think I normally get the jumbo which I think is 300 balls for about $15 yes. There is a cutting area a driving area and a chipping area. Room for about 40 people to drive. It does tend to get crowded after 5 so if you can head over there at about 3 in the afternoon you will have your choice of spots.

The miniature golf course was extremely pretty and made for a fun time. It's 18 holes so it took a group of 5 about 2 hours to get through it. The only con is that it is very windy out there due to the lack of tree cover

I've gone to West Grand golf since I was a kid. It's a great place to go with friends or host an event because the minigolf facilities are great and the staff is friendly. The course is great and sometimes difficult, but a great price for eighteen holes of minigolf.

Fun yet somewhat challenging mini golf course! When I went the water features hadn't been turned on yet, so hopefully they're up and running because that's one reason I chose this place over others. Would definitely go back.

My husband and I went here for putt putt golf. It was a challenging and fun course. It cost $8.00 per person, 18 holes. Great day out, and just for the record- I won.

Best driving range and mini-golf facility in the central Iowa area. You can practice all aspects of your game at them driving range with a lot of tee space and laser sighted yardage plates. They are listed in the Golf Logic app as well. There are fairway and green-side sand bunkers, uneven hills area and chipping green along with a putting green. The mini-golf course has been voted best in Des Moines over 10 times in the CityView annual rating. There are 3 water features and a mature landscaping surrounding the 18 holes mini-golf. They installed brand new carpeting in the summer of 2016.

The setup for the practice facilities is great. But the grass turf to hit off of is consistently some of the worst I have ever seen at a range not matter what time of year.

Nice driving range, however, adding mid-distance flags (130yd-175yd) would make it much better. Current flags are 90-130, then they gap up to 170s-200s.

Facilities are decent. Turf could be better. Targets are good but could be spread different distances. I really do like the fairway bunkers setup.

Have been there in the past but was disappointed to find that they were closed at 8 when they said online when they were open until 10. If this was a lazy employee closing early it was on 9/5/18 for the owners to deal with.
