Absolutely loved the course. There are a few holes undergoing changes. However, the quality of the rest of the course made that easy to overlook. The staff was very friendly. It rained a lot the night before but the course seemed to dry out quickly. The greens are in great shape. I like to pick one or two upscale courses a year to play. It was a great choice.

Been lucky enough to play here a couple of times. This place is among the best. I recently got to share this course with two of my best friends. All three of us agreed that this course was in/close to the Top 5 courses we have every played. Takes me about two and a half hours to get to TCI but I am hoping to play it again next month. Always a fun time!

Absolutely loved the course and the staff was phenomenal. I played TCI today for the first time. It’s a top notch course! The tee boxes are nice and flat, fairways very well maintained, and the greens roll better than nearly any course I have played. The staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating. I couldn’t have left more impressed. This is a gorgeous golf course!

The course layout is awesome and it's one of the best courses in Iowa. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the greens. They were divot filled and weren't rolling the best. I was half tempted to chip on them to see if I could put it closer.(Tell your greenskeeper not to worry. I didn't.) All told its a great course and I always enjoy playing it.

Beautiful course with the autumn foliage changing! Some holes under repair, but mostly in great shape for this time of year. Lots of elevation change, trees and water on most holes make for a challenge. Really enjoyed our round!

Thanks for everything Jim and the awesome and the gentleman that checked me in. The customer service was the best I have experienced...very welcoming! the pro shop perfect merchandising. let’s talk about this course! The greens tour level all over the property rolled 11-12 perfect speed true!!! Range wow is about all I can say could spend 10 hours a day chipping area putting green wowza!!! I started on 1 from the backs and after seeing deer, par 3s 240 220 180 and par 4s that you dream about it was over 18 came and just couldn’t believe it was over this course will need in my personal top 5 thanks for having such a beautiful place I’ll be back !!! This is a must play

Course designed by Arnold Palmer, Really, Really Nice, and well kept course. REASONABLE Rates. Most fairways have multiple signs, that have multiple sand traps and some fairways have sand traps and water hazards. The fairways are easy to play but you can't get in trouble quickly. I came back with a few less balls than I started with. The staff are friendly and accommodating. When I played this course it was cold, windy, and raining some, but to play through was a thrill and a must. The greens were wet, thus, even faster, only a few of which tricked me and made a mess of my score. Mr. Palmer had much insight in what makes a great course, and I will always come back to play an interesting but challenging golf course. I'm recommending Tournament Club Of Iowa to... ALL players.

Beautiful, challenging course full of rich white A-holes. Our 4-some finished in 4:10 and ranger told us twice to pick up our pace and once that we should be playing the easier tees. Not worth the hassle for the price paid.

Nice layout, a few holes need some tweaking, a few too-long par 4s that play like par 5s ugh (big wind didn’t help:-( When you have to hit it 230 to carry the gick, or lay up on a par 4 to get over the gick. I’m not ready to play the “up” tees, yet;-/ I’ll give it another try when I’m back in Des Moines. One of the toughest courses I’ve played.

Great venue for a wedding! The staff is incredible, the food is unbelievable and it’s all reasonably priced! If you’re looking for a place to get married go here! The views are amazing and our pictures were unbelievable! Who gets married during a global pandemic and still raves about the best day ever?! We do!

Fantastic course, designed perfectly to the rolling, forested surroundings. Greens played well and early weekday AM pace of play was quick. A few truly epic tee boxes and greens guarded tightly with deep ravines. Loved it, favorite course I've played in Iowa

The Copper Oak Restaurant has not disappointed. I went there once for a couples dinner and everything was great. I've since gone back half a dozen times. Also, the brussels sprouts are some of the best I've ever tasted. All of their food has been great.

Course was challenging and well kept. The wildlife we saw made it more enjoyable. The routing of the cart paths after 18 needs to be fixed.

Great course. Very nice tees, greens, and fairways. Very difficult. Would love to play It again. Interesting Dog legs. All par threes were on the longer side and some were 100 feet down from tee to green. Staff was accommodating and helpful also. Views were nice as well.

This is confusing! This course was easily a 5star course but then someone decided to take the course design, Arnold Plamer’s, and blow it up. Flipping the front and back around leaves golfers with a very lack luster couple of finishing holes. What used to be the 3 closing holes now close out the front leaving you wonder how the back could top them, hint they don’t. They also took a beautiful par 5 and robbed the elevated tee boxes and basically give you a very underwhelming short par 4. I’m sorry but Mr.Palmer would be disappointed. Yes play it, hopefully you are one who played it the original way first.

Great food at the copper oak - especially for such a small town! I like this restaurant more than all except a few downtown restaurants, so I feel lucky that or is so close to my brother's house, where O typically stay when I'm in the area. The service seems quite good and the personnel have always seemed cheerful/happy. Since this is a golf club restaurant, there are beautiful views if you choose the right seats. I'm always surprised how quiet it is, but I guess that makes sense in a small town.

We had our Business Holiday Party at TCI. The venue nice, but L shaped area for seating does divided group and makes it difficult to interact while eating. The food was outstanding, the prime rib was huge and very tasty. The salmon was fantastic. It was a very nice evening.

The course is in fantastic shape and the layout is terrific. It's honestly one of the best courses I've ever played. The value is incredible. Extremely glad we made the 5.5 hour trek from Chicagoland to play it. We'll certainly be back.

Beautiful course and quite challenging. Only docking one star because they need to utilize a Marshall or done control measure to keep groups from stacking up. Had 4 groups on one Par 5 on the back 9.

Tough course. Play the tees that best fits your handicap and ability. We played the Palmer's which was a little to long for us. We should have played the Decons. Beautiful course. Have fun and good luck.

After living in Polk City for nearly 5 years, we finally made it to TCI. I suppose we waited due to not feeling good enough to go to the land of luxury of TCI and memories of over-priced country club food elsewhere. This was to our discredit. The food quality was great, and the pride they show in their restaurant and their food was quite evident. The Sunday brunch was great!
