We played the gold 18 holes today.The course is long and challenging.. The greens had clumps of sand on them and the grass was tall enough to make it hard to find your ball if you weren’t on the fairway. Our tee time was early and they were trying to do the maintenance required to make it nice. It’s worth the money. I’m really writing about the restaurant. The first time we went we ended up walking out because of NO service. This time , it took forever to get a beverage. Then it took forever to have our waitress come back to take our order and then forever to get our food. Finally, when we got our food, my order didn’t have peppers on it. I ordered a sausage sandwich with peppers. The sausage was horrible and very little cheese on it. The waitress was lazy and rude.They wanted to make it right but I never send my food back or reorder something else. I got 10% off. Wow. I give the golf course 3 stars and I give the so called restaurant a 1 star rating. Go to a nice place to eat. I won’t go back.

This course has a great layout, every hole has something that makes it memorable. I play a lot of golf but not at high end courses so comparable this one is excellent. Greens were very challenging with a respectable speed rating, they rolled very true. They also have mini golf and gocarts next door. Family fun for all.

Hylands is one of our golfing feather in our caps. We are blessed. This is an adult and child playground with a club and ball. 3 par is perfect for practicing pitch and putt. Blue and go ld courses are long and straight. Sit outside the restaurant and you look straight down the tee...lots of green!

Normally a great course... whatever sad pathetic 16 person per group games they had out today ruined a wonderful day to play. why choose the weekend to set up such silly game play. What's normally a wonderful day was filled with large "Herds" of golf cart with the constant echo or "four" every 2 seconds or so. This course should just leave the game at the normal 4somes and not ruined the day for everyone.

Great course pretty well kept. Multiple courses but the signs tell you where to go. I've only played the gold course it's pretty open with plenty of chances to slice your ball into the water. You do have to keep track of golfers around you it doesn't take much for a ball to end up in the path of other golfers no matter how perfect you think your game is.

Love this course especially the blue 9 hole, Great Views of the mountains, beautiful lakes to shoot over, some awesome intermediate challenging holes and great staff, comparable prices, in my opinion this is one of the top courses locally.

Played the little executive par 3. Green looked a little scared but wow the green ran really well. I highly recommend this par 3 course for low handicap players to tune your short game. I go here every other Thursday during the summer for Ladies Night! Choose from beginner or intermediate and for $45 you get assistance from the golf pro at the driving range from 4-5pm (the pros walk around and assist as needed), then you get to play 9 holes with a cart with a group of 4 (scramble style play) then after you get dinner and a drink! It is fabulous, all the staff is super friendly and helpful. Couldnt recommend more for all level of play golfers. Must call in advance to book.

Pace of play is awful out here. I was a part of a foursome and we played 9 last night and waited on every shot. Painfully slow and the course outside of the greens was not in good shape

I have had the privilege of working with Isamarie (sp?) who is one of the pros at Hyland Hills. She is truly a professional and is so down to earth. She has taught us so much at the driving range on Ladies Night which has been extremely beneficial to our game. Isamarie is one of the friendliest and top-notch employees at Hyland Hills. We always enjoy seeing and talking with her, and very much appreciate the helpful tips she has given us. Hyland Hills should feel fortunate to have such a valuable employee working for them. The staff is very kind and kid friendly! They have two par 3 courses that are perfect for kids and adults. One is a chip and putt the other is more challenging. They have two more courses, a regulation 9 hole and a full 18. Great place to play

Great public course. Employees had great attitudes and helpful. Course well maintained. Major tree mitigation has opened up several areas where trees came into play on T shots and fairway shots. Have played 18 Gold course and 9 Blue course many times. Still challenging courses. Remodeled Clubhouse done very well. Very nice patio area. Huge fireplace in bar/restaurant area. Several meeting rooms and food very good! I still keep going back!

Highly recommend the gold course for any intermediate - advanced golfer. The back 9 in particular has a challenging and aesthetically pleasing layout. Greens fall in every direction it seems, and every hole is both quiet and secluded.

One of my favorites in the metro area. Good elevation and use of the trees. Great track if you're in the area (Gold Course) If you're looking for a legit 9 hole, the Blue course is it.

I enjoyed the blue 9. Rental clubs weren't great but they were satisfactory. They have a bunch of courses that I can't speak too but blue 9 is cool.

Hyland Hills is a complex of an 18-hole course, a 9-hole course, and 2 9-hole par-3 courses. The new-ish clubhouse is nice to look at. The few meals I've had at the restaurant have been decent. One thing to note is the restaurant will not give you alcohol for the course. No idea why. The 18-hole Gold course presents some decent challenges to an average golfer. The course is kept well. It's more of a parkland style course compared to many courses nearby that are links-style. Hole #2 usually has a lot of ground under repair due to the water on the right.

The course was in great shape, but they overbooked (only got 13 holes in 4 1/2 hours) and they did not warn me that the club house would close so early, so now they have my driver's license over Thanksgiving.

I played Twilight Golf for the deal ($19.50 w/cart). The course was in very good condition over all and the greens were in excellent condition. It's a challenging course with several sand traps and water feathers. I enjoined my round of golf and will play Hylands Hills Blue Course again.

I'm lucky I found this place. I was recommended it and Highly recommend it because it's fun fair price and people are excellent in the pro shop. And I can't say enough about the cocktail cart girls. They're on it and I enjoyed playing there because all of them work is a team.

We always have a great time here. It's a nice course for the price and the people are friendly. There are more expensive places around, but I've never seen the reason to pay for what they offer when Hyland is right nearby. It's worth the money for sure!

Gold course is nice, but pretty tight. Feels like there were quite a few holes where a shot that didn't go straight to the green could land in another fairway/tee box/green.

This is a good place to have plenty of options for golf. You can practice at their range, often into the twilight; play a short par 3 with few hazards & a max 104y hole; a tough par 3 with 4 water holes & a max 204y hole; a regulation 9 hole course of moderate difficulty (though long for ladies); 3 miniature golf courses; go carts; and a varied 18 regulation course. There are women's and men's league 9/18 holes (even par 3); good specials; discount punch cards; and even night glowball events. The 19th has good variety, reasonable prices, and decent food. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. There's even some interesting wildlife here including coyotes, hawks, fishing birds, carp, and the occasional turkey. You can almost always find something to play here. Enjoy!

It was good, no water on the table. Meal was buffet style. It was good, cake didn't have any flavor, and there wasn't enough for the large group.
