Run don’t walk to have a Robogolf lesson with Scott at Pebble Beach. Amazing facility, amazing instruction. Like many golfers seeking the ultimate golf swing “fix” I’ve been fortunate to have lessons with some of the very best instructors, Butch Harmon, George Gankas, professionals at my home course at the Olympic Club…all extremely good. Yesterday I had the best lesson I ever had. Over two hours of one on one instruction in a language I could understand. Not so technical that my eyes glazed over. What it accomplished is taking me, my swing, my learning style and making it about me using the best learning aid I’d ever seen. Robogolf is adapted to fit you and your swing. Countless repetitions later, you start to understand the end game because you feel things you’ve not felt before. Sounds strange but true. Scott claims one benefit for me is a potential gain of 40 yards. I didn’t take the lesson because of that outcome. And if it so happens then another kudo to Scott. But, I know why I’m not getting the 40 yds today and before the lesson Nada. I could go on but you get the sense of why I’m a believer. Last, Scott doesn’t something 95% of the teachers Don’t Do. He will actually send you videos of your lesson. All say they will and most never do. It takes time and it’s like paperwork— they just don’t do it. Go have fun and become what you want to achieve.

I rarely post, but this one is definitely worth posting about. I am an 11 handicapper, and have struggled to adjust my swing due to lack of feel. Getting on this machine really helped me understand what I was doing wrong. Also, Scott is an amazing coach and explained - in a clear way - why I need to make the changes that other coaches have recommended. Changing mechanics is tough, and without really understanding why the change was necessary, it was hard for me to actually do the work. Game changer, and highly recommend.

I took my first lesson with Scot/Robo Golf at Oaktree golf club. The next day I was able to be on 3 on Par 5 and I was able to hit my Driver 200 yards!!! I've gone through many golf pro lessons and I am in shock by his coaching technique. Scot changed my swing and attitude it was completely at another higher level that I've ever experienced ! The combination of Scot Nei and the RoboGolfPro are absolutely lethal. Being a lifetime golfer, PGA Professional and decent competitive player, my experience at Pebble with Scot was just incredible. The breakthrough came with Scot’s keen eye guiding the Robot to literally “show” me the way the club should exit through impact. The pull draws were instantly gone and now every ball comes out right and the long left miss is gone. I give my fullest recommendation to anyone who wants to get better and raise the level of their ball striking. Keep up the passionate work, Scot!

I took a lesson with Scot and he genuinely wanted to make me a better golfer. He’s very attentive, and the robot is a great tool for those of us that need “feels” as opposed to information. If you learn best by doing, I strongly recommend reaching out to Scot and scheduling a lesson. I lost my swing for about a year before my lesson. I developed a big slice, went from a 2 to a 7 index, and was ready to give up the game. I didn’t leave my lesson cured, but left with a feeling to work with. Took my son to have a lesson with Scot on the Robogolfpro @ the Pebble Beach Golf Acadamy and in less than 2 hours he fixed his off plane takeaway and worked on not getting club head in front of hands through impact zone.. results were on plane swing with about a 20 yard increase in distance. Then on course it translated to a 1 under 9 hole round.... First time sub par...

I sought out Ryan Faust at the speed factory to try to discover limitations/restrictions in my body precluding an efficient golf swing. After a thorough assessment which by itself was an eye opener, we were able to formulate a tailored plan for my swing. We worked in the gym and outside to open up the body and get all the right muscles firing in a better way. As an added benefit I have also had less pain in my low back and hip. But what’s more is I have improved significantly and since working with him for several months I have been able to break 80 and drove the ball over 300 yards off the tee!! While working to improve my swing mechanics, I utilized the Robogolf to provide immediate feedback and to allow me to feel the structure I was trying to learn. It is so impressive that I was able to make such a significant swing change in such a relative short time. You can continue to hit an exorbitant amount off range balls with little understanding of the needed change or by getting on the Robogolf you can recalculate your body and brain to deliver amazing results. In addition Scot was a tremendous help with superior knowledge and expertise. He explained everything along the way and provided continual feedback to customize the right effects/drills to allow me to achieve a consistent ball flight. I went to Doral to meet the inventor of RoboGolfPro and to see it for myself. My son and I spent the entire day and would have slept next to the RoboGolfPro if it was allowed! It is truly a revolutionary way to learn the golf swing by feel and repetition. Scot is an amazing teacher and the nutty professor which we need more of. If you have children, be sure that their first swing is on RoboGolfPro, might as well start with perfect! If you have many bad golf habits (like me), this is your solution. My son has a good golf swing but he was struggling, 15 swings on RoboGolfPro put him back to squaring the club with maximum compression. I’m giving this a 10 out of 10 for any level golfer!

I was able to spend some time training on the robot and can say it was one of better teaching sessions I’ve had. The RoboGolfPro experience is unlike any golf lesson I have ever had! The instructor works with you to customize the robot programming so you feel the perfect swing plane every time. The feedback is instant and the swing thoughts were very minimal. I was amazed at how the repetitions with robot change how solid I was hitting the real golf balls. After an hour I was hitting towering 6-irons 180 yards with a soft draw! Unbelievable - and a great feeling of the ball coming off the club face solid but "light" off the sweet spot. I definitely recommend the RoboGolfPro experience to anyone looking to improve their swing and especially hitting solid irons. Scott Nei was a terrific instructor and the videos he sent to me after my lesson were personalized with easy to follow guidance for practicing. The facility at Pebble Beach is excellent - a great indoor practice room to work with the robot then hit balls on the full-screen simulator for instant feedback, plus easy access right out the door to the driving range with various grass heights and targets. I first learned of the RoboGolfPro swing machine while watching, The Golf Channel and Bryson DeChambeau. Bryson was using the golf product to perfect his swing with founder and inventor of RoboGolfPro, Scot W.R. Nei. I asked my golf pro at the club if she knew anything about it and she said, “yes! I’ve done it before, let’s try it.” Okay, I won’t lie, I was skeptical about the RoboGolfPro. I’m a beginner golfer and thought, sure I’ll give it a whirl. It was not a good first experience. I tried to muscle through it and I didn’t get it at all. That was in August, 2020. In October, 2020, I went back for another golf lesson with Scot at the Pebble Beach Golf Training Facility and had an amazing interactive putting lesson with the new technology, PuttView at the training facility. It was so cool! I also, appreciated Scot’s support outdoors with practicing putting and improving my speed control. In November, 2020, I decided to give the RoboGolfPro another chance and it was great! This time I tried to feel the golf swing as Scot had emphasized on the robot and looked at the video at my body moving through the swing. It was fantastic! I kept going back for additional lessons learning how to chip, pitch and then eventually learn how to use my driver with the RoboGolfPro. It was so much fun! I am hooked AND my golfing on the course has improved! The two main ingredients to improve your golf swing are Scot W.R. Nei and RoboGolfPro. First of all, you NEED to trust your swing and the way it feels with the RoboGolfPro machine. You have to connect with how it feels and repeat it until you remember it. Where I have seen the biggest difference is with my shots with the driver. I have added more than 30 yards to my drives if I connect perfectly. Scot is passionate about figuring out ways to keep my hands and wrists from moving first in my backswing. He had me hold two sticks under my armpits (Ha!), while holding the RoboGolfPro stick to make sure I wouldn’t move my hands before my body. It was brilliant! After many, many RoboGolfPro reps, I would then move over to the mat and practice my drives. Where I truly saw the difference was when I went outside to the driving range but more importantly, it was when I crushed my consistent drives on the golf course. It takes a skillful golf pro like Scot to thoroughly understand his students mode of thinking and to creatively figure out which technique will best help the student with their golf swing. Scot takes a vested interest in helping his students as his students always come first. The videos he takes of your swings are also incredibly helpful. His positive attitude is contagious and he’s also fun to work with. Way to go RoboGolfPro! This technology is stellar. I highly recommend Scot Nei and his robogolfpro swing machine at the Pebble Beach Golf Training Facility to any level golfer to improve his or her game. He has 45 other locations so I’m sure there is one near you to try. You WILL get better with Scot W.R. Nei and RoboGolfPro and feel confident, too the next time you step up to the ball.

I had the most wonderful golf experience at Robo Pro Golf at La Costa Country Club in Carlsbad, Ca I was able to feel what my ideal golf swing felt like. Continuous repetitions of my ideal golf swing built muscle memory that quite simply surprised me! I played golf the next day, and due to a late arrival at the golf course, didn't allow me to warm up. I hit a perfect drive off this first tee and continued to strike 80% of shots extremely well. I know the feelings in the swing I am looking to repeat. Scot Nei, my instructor, followed up the next day with video clips of my Robo swing and an open line of communication!

I had an excellent lesson with Geoff from Tourbound Golf last week and recommend him to anyone looking to improve their golf game. The Robogolf Pro was an eye opening machine for me because it let’s you physically feel what a professional golf swing feels like. It put me and the club in positions I had never felt before and would of never been able to emulate simply by verbal direction. But after physically feeling the correct way to swing I now am better equipped to work on improving certain technical aspects of my swing. Most intense and transformative lesson regarding any topic and especially golf. Scott rebuilt my swing which I wasn't expecting, nor did I especially want, but what a difference! I needed to keep some aspects and really evolve in other areas. I was immediately getting more distance, straighter and even was able to FINALLY hit a draw a few times. The best part came later, on the practice range and the course after my lesson. I know what I need to practice and how to do it and what success looks like although it's not always apparent. On the course, if I'm not hitting it right, I remember my basics, what to go back to and double check. I've never had an instructor who worked harder or cared more about my success. If it's possible, my time with Scot has made me love golf even more and I can highly recommend him.

Had the great fortune to take a couple of lessons from Scott with the Robogolf at Pebble Beach. Game Changing for me... to feel, and see exactly what the correct move is unlike anything else out there. Easily the best golf lessons I've had. Scott has a great eye, and with the Robot, he can emphasize the correct feel, and being able to see the video screens while doing this is what has allowed me to take it to the course the same day. Had my 2 lessons 2 days apart, to be able to work on the new moves and feels, and reinforced everything on the second lesson. If you're in Pebble Beach or wherever Scott has these Robots, I HIGHLY recommend that you invest in a couple of lessons. You won't regret it.

I am a tour pro that is always looking for ways to get better. I have never in my 10 years in professional golf experienced anything like the Robo Golf Pro. I worked with Scott and we had a game plan of what I wanted to accomplish in the golf swing then we programmed in the feels and went to work. After about 30 min on the Robo Golf Pro I was hitting positions I’ve been trying to get to my whole life. Ingraining a new feel takes thousands and thousands of golf balls but on the Robo Golf Pro you are practicing the exact same swing every time. Therefore it makes it the best and most efficient way in the world to get better quickly at golf because it is perfect practice. The more you use the robo the quicker the results come and the quicker the changes will feel natural. I highly encourage pro’s and amateurs a like to go see Scott Nei at one of the Robo locations to experience perfect practice for yourself and see how quickly your swing can change for the better.

I was thoroughly impressed with my Tourbound Golf lesson from Pro Clint Rice. I hit a few balls while he taped my swings and within a few minutes he identified the main areas I needed to improve to create more consistent solid contact. By using video he illustrated how my swing drifted off plane over the years. I only wish I met him earlier so I could have foregone 5 years of inconsistent iron play. Instead of just showing me how to correct it, he also incorporated bio-mechanics to teach me the proper wrist movements and their impact on the swing. Clint then plugged in the proper swing path into the robot so I could get a "second opinion." What an experience to have the robot take you step by step through your new swing. It gives you immediate feedback on areas you need to improve. It's one thing to show you, but with his experience on the tours, I could tell he also wanted to ensure I could feel where my hands and arms should be. He helped me groove the feeling with drills for the new takeaway and also exercises to strengthen my golf muscles. He threw in some tips on putting and chipping as well. I've been back weekly ever since. Definitely going to recommend all my serious golfer friends in the Loop to give Clint a call.

I’ve spent a lot of time and money on lessons in the past and far exceeded any progress I made with previous instruction in only 2 hours with Scot and RoboGolfPro. I showed up to the lesson with an inside backswing a steep downswing and we were able to reverse both and add about 15 yards to each of my shots while increasing accuracy. The feel aspect of RoboGolfPro is truly incredible because of the instant feedback that is replicable as opposed to receiving information, comprehending that information and then translating that into an accurate physical motion. RoboGolfPro has made golf much more enjoyable and has provided a boost in my confidence and ability to continue to improve. I've been playing golf for roughly 15 years but haven't taken it seriously until the last year or so. For anyone looking for an instructor that works WITH your swing, go no further than Geoff Lound at Tour Bound Golf Academy. Geoff was able to quickly identify the strengths in my swing rather than just the weaknesses. And with the help of the in-house Robotic Swing Trainer, I was able to feel what a proper swing should feel like. And since the success of a golf swing is heavily dependent on muscle memory, the Robotic Swing Trainer is invaluable. Although I had initially requested a one-off "tune-up" lesson, I will definitely be going back to further tailor my swing.

I took the 50 minute lesson and swing analysis with Luke last Saturday. Luke immediately identified a few issues with my swing and when we went to the robot I was able to immediately feel what he meant. A few minutes with the robot give you immediate feedback and feeling about what you should be doing on the upswing, where to stop, how to begin and finish the downswing and finally the follow-through. Luke then gave me a few drills to work on so overall for 50 minutes I received as much feedback as if I spent hours and hours on the range with a regular PGA professional. The videos are also very helpful and Luke prepared a few side by side comparisons of my swing before and after the lesson. The 50 minute session was worth every penny and I decided to take one of the packages they offer. Everyone who loves the game should take one of those lessons!

RoboGolfPro is definitely one of the best training aid available. I must say that Robogolf pro can reduce time to become better at golf. No more long explanation during lessons. For beginners, it takes only the first session, to get the feel of correct posture, professional the swing sequence. For good players, its quite easy to get them to feel what tour players feel in each swing sequence.

Starting working with Geoff Lound for about 6 months and have seem a ton of improvements in my swing and golf game. He had made my swing more compact and effortless which in doing so has increased my length and consistant ball contact. I have done the swing robot with him and felt things in my swing I have never felt before. How to keep my elbow tucked and connected to my inner hip all the way through impact has created more lag with my clubs and given me a little draw. I have been taking lessons from Geoff Lound for several months now and he has been very helpful. His approach to golf swings is systematic, and he understands that you need to build upon skills to get to an end goal. He uses both basic explanation, video, and the robot simulator for you to understand what you need to work on. The robot is an incredible piece of technology that allows you to "feel" what your swing should be doing. You will use this every lesson too! I have not golfed in 3 years and have never had any formal lessons and looking forward to receiving some pointers on the basics of a swing. Geoff Lound used video to show me my many flaws and started with some basic drills to improve my muscle memory to correct my swing. He also put me on the robot to enhance muscle memory and provide me a basis of a proper swing. I have hit balls several times using the lessons and drills Geoff provided and I see and feel a tremendous difference in my shot and confidence standing over the ball. WOOOOW RoboGolfPro is AMAZING! Scot Nei helped me so much from even just one lesson! I played as a professional golfer for three years and have not competed nor practiced in over a year. I received a first lesson from Geoff Lound as a Groupon gift, but will be returning as a satisfied customer. After watching a few swings, Geoff was able to pin point and correct a few flaws in my swing that have been restricting my game. He gave me some drills to practice and use when warming up to maintain those adjustments we made. They have the capability to film your swing and compare it with the pros as well as being able to e-mail you the video with notes so you can remember in the future. The robot guided swing was strange at first, but definitely helps you feel the correct motion.

Yesterday, I had a lesson with Geoff Lound at the Chicago location. Being my first lesson, I didn’t think that I’d be able to walk away with much – I figured I’d need several lessons before noticing any improvement in my swing. After just one hour with advice from Geoff and 2 dozen reps on the robot, I noticed a huge difference in my swing. Geoff even sent me a swing analysis video showing the before and after swings as well as tips to help me practice on my own. I'm a below average golfer, at best. I've been playing sporadically for 10-15 years, and I can count on one hand the number of times I've hit my driver straight down the fairway. It ALWAYS slices. I wanted to get better, but I knew that wouldn't mean just going to the range and practicing bad habits. After reading the glowing reviews on the RoboGolf machine, I decided to take a lesson with Geoff Lound. I hate to sound like everyone else, but as soon as I "felt" one swing with the robot I knew that I had made the right choice. The ability to feel the correct swing on the robot and then step into the simulator and see the results in action is unlike any type of golf lesson I've ever been apart of. I can't speak highly enough of Geoff. Not only was he fun and enjoyable to be around, but he was also able to clearly explain what I needed to do differently and why it was important. Geoff was able to reinforce the swing mechanics in the simulator. We made a number of simple changes to my swing and the results were beyond my expectations. When I first arrived, I took a few shots on the simulator before using the robot or receiving any instruction. I was slicing my driver and it was going <200 yards, which was unfortunately consistent with my experience on the course. After using the robot and receiving instruction from Geoff, the last shot that I took on the simulator with the driver went 265 straight down the fairway.... you can't make this stuff up I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to improve their game, regardless of skill level. I will be going back

Just finished my lesson with Luke. First-class individual and a once-in-a-lifetime experience! The TourBound golf robot really adjusts you to have a more ideal swing. As someone new to the game, Luke was able to quickly identify my numerous swing faults. He then had me take swings with the robot and had me focus on reducing my sway, rotating my hips and creating more lag. All of this led to a swing that was more on plane. While I clearly have more things in my swing to work on, I feel that I have a more ideal picture in my mind of what that swing should look and feel like. The facility is immaculate. Leather theater-style seating throughout, a bar and pool table. It's just a relaxing place to really focus on your swing, hit a few or play a full round. I've been fortunate to take a couple of lessons with Scot at Pebble Beach and it's been one of the best things I've done for my game. The time he puts in both on the RoboGolfPro and off it is extensive. I'm in my mid 60's and hitting the ball like I was in my 40's. Both my distance and ball shaping keep amazing me each time I play. I had purchased a Robogolf session for my son-in-law and thought I would try it, I chased Scot down, and we met in Miami. At first, the machine was incredibly awkward because I had no clue what a proper swing was despite hundreds of lessons, I booked two hours, and in no time, I went from hitting my 7iron 135 to 160. I couldn't believe it, dead straight and slight draw, effortlessly. I was worried when I got back; I would fall into old habits. However, I didn't. It was the best contact, ball flight, distance ever in my life, shot after shot, genuinely unbelievable. Thank you, Scot; you are a genius. My biggest issue is always from parallel to the top of the backswing, and the Robot helps get my path and hands there easily. We had a great experience working with Scott and Mandy. I have two kids that played in the Pure Insurance Championship at Pebble Beach. Scott improved my daughters shot by so much that she was literally hitting everything long. he added at least 30 yards to her drive by fixing her release point and making some other tweaks. He also helped my son with some minor adjustments. RoboGolf Pro is great at squeezing little improvements out of a great player, or by making huge improvements on a good player. Over the past few weeks I had taken a few lessons from A.J. and Scot utilizing the Robot. My troubled swing felt so much more comfortable and I was feeling positive about how solid my ball contact was. My distance had improved noticeably. I took an hour lesson with Geoff and thought it was very helpful. Geoff was very friendly and easy to work with. Never haven taken formal lessons, we started with the correct grip. He showed me what I was doing wrong, but more importantly, why it was not the best way to grip a club. He then took a video of my swing, and then went to the robot. The robot was really cool because it forces you into the correct swing; instead of a teacher telling you what to do, you can 'feel' what you are supposed to do. At the end we then took another video and compared the two, and there was a noticeable improvement in the form of my swing. It was a great base to work on and develop on the course!

As a PGA Professional, it can be challenging to communicate in words how you want someone to move their body or a golf club. I met up with Scot and his Robot Trainer for a couple of hours last week. I went to Pebble Beach Golf Links Academy. The facility was amazing. Coach Scot Nei knew exactly what he was talking about. Coach Scot introduced the Robogolfpro to me and programmed a perfect swing. I swung on the machine a few times, then without doing a practice swing, hit a ball. Within minutes, I began to see a difference. I gained 10 yards with my irons and 15 yards with my driver. The benefit of the Robogolfpro is that you get the correct feeling on how a golf swing should feel. You do not have to deal with coaches telling you what to do, and how the swing feels to them. While swinging on the Robogolfpro, I created my own feelings. This has to be the coolest lesson that I have ever had!!!

Tourbound Golf Academy is a great facility to take lessons, work on your game, or even play a round on the golf simulator. I have been to Tourbound twice for lessons, both times with Randy Tylo. Randy was very informative and helpful. He was able to easily translate golf concepts into other sport or life analogies, and helped me to understand the proper golf swing. The swing-training robot was also very helpful; it provides the student with the mechanics of a proper golf swing, giving the user the "feel" of a proper swing. Between Randy's instruction and the robot, I feel more comfortable with what I need to do mechanically and how the swing should feel. I will definitely be back for additional lessons, as I continue to work on my golf game. The indoor driving bays (with digital readout) and golf simulator, along with year-round lessons and the robot, make Tourbound Golf Academy the ideal place for winter, or any time of year.

A few Robogolfpro posts popped up in my Instagram feed. Intrigued, I thought I’d give it a try. I set up an appointment with Robert in Cordova, TN. We spent about 2 hours together analyzing my swing, working on changes and more. It was honestly a great experience. Golf is ultimately about feel. The RoboGolfPro provides that in a way that is entirely new and immersive. Robert’s excellent instruction coupled with being able to feel the motion of a full swing clued me into exactly what I needed to improve from start to finish. From a customization standpoint, it was a win on all fronts. In fact, I’m heading back for a second lesson this weekend!!

Flew in from Michigan and took a lesson from Clint. By far the best lesson I have ever had and not just because of the robot. I have golfed for 15 years and I am not very good. My handicap is 26. I can hit the ball straight but always suffered from lack of distance. Always would come over-the-top, break down at impact, and scoop the ball. I never compressed the ball. Using video and demonstration, Clint got me in the proper set-up and had me do some swings using the robot. It introduced me to a completely different swing path...a more correct path from the inside. Something previous lessons did not help me with. I soon found out that being able to feel what a proper swing path should feel like, using the robot, made a big difference. After 5-10 minutes or so on the robot we went into a hitting bay and bingo! I was compressing the ball and hitting it with ease. Wow. I have never had that sensation of being able to hit a golf ball that way in my life. We rotated between hitting bay and robot to help ingrain my new swing for the remainder of the lesson. Clint's advice and focus on teaching are incredible. I can see him being able to help anyone at any level beginner through pro. I can't express enough how much I appreciate the opportunity to work with Clint. If you are wavering and need some help with your game, just do it. You won't be sorry.

I am now 3 lessons in out of my 5 and I have to say after many many years taking many many lessons with multiple golf coaches, this resonated better than all. I have always been around sports and the mechanical aspect of golf has taken away from the natural sports 'feel' I am accustomed to. The Robogolf really helps you feel the swing, then you can take it to the video to see how it translates. For me it is not an overnight fix, but it has helped create a much more consistent swing that is much more fluid. I would say at the moment it has dropped my handicap about 3-5 and should be a single digit handicap by end of summer. Net net so far has been from a 16-11.5 handicap, however putting has been my issue due to lack of practice now that I live in the downtown. I have also gained a min of 10 yards on my irons, so that has taken an adjustment and have yet to play 2 of the same courses so has been more challenging due to not being familiar with all new courses. I would recommend this to any golfer. Geoff is my golf pro and he has been very easy to work with!

After not playing for 2 years, I went in and had a lesson with Randy Tylo at Tourbound. After a couple of swings, Randy immediately had me working on my follow through and the path of the club. And seeing the video swing analysis provides you with great feedback to what you are doing. I have noticed much improvement by working on what Randy pointed out. Geoff was effective at teaching both my wife and me a proper golf swing. He very easily adapted to each of our styles, and after just two lessons, my wife and I are both very comfortable swinging a golf club. Additionally, he allowed us to schedule our lessons back to back so that I could watch what he was teaching my wife and help reinforce his lessons on the course. I spent an hour with Luke for my first ever golf lesson and had a great experience. He was very good at communicating ideas in ways that I could understand and implement into my game. My son before this was having a problem with re-routing on his down swing. His regular teacher mentioned the same thing, but getting him to correct it with words was difficult. I was really surprise to see the difference the Robo Golf Pro made in such a short time. Within about 15 minutes on the machine, his re-routing was gone. Coming back home I thought it would go back to normal, but happy to report that it still looks good after days playing golf on his own. A big thank you to Scot who was amazing and spent so much time with him. I can tell he has a passion to improve peoples golf technique.

I just picked up this game last year and went for a few lessons with Geoff. He is an excellent instructor. He started with my basic swing and then fine tuned the few issues that I had a natural tendency for. The good thing is that he gives very specific instructions and explains in detail on how it impacts the whole game. About the robot, to be very honest i was very skeptical but i now understand the value it adds. You can feel the exact motion and with a few repetitions, you can recreate the motion on your own. Geoff used the robot at specific times in the lesson when I had trouble understanding or separating certain areas of body movement. I highly recommend going taking lessons with Geoff if you are a beginner or an advanced player struggling with very specific issues.

Great lesson with Geoff! Let me tell you, I have taken lessons before and I can honestly say this could have been the best initial lesson I ever had. Geoff did a great evaluation and addressed what needed to be corrected immediately. I have been taking lessons with Clint Rice for about a month and it has been an incredible experience. Clint is a fantastic instructor and has significantly improved my golf swing. Growing up opposite a golf course in the UK, I took gold lessons about 15 years ago and it really wasn't for me, however I thought enough time had passed to try again, so had an hour with Geoff. I loved it. Firstly Geoff is an extremely personably guy and easy to get along with. Second, the technology available at the centre is amazing. It's extremely useful to watch slow motion videos of your swing played back, and paused so Geoff can show what's going wrong, and compare with videos of professional golfers. I also spent some time on the Golf Robot which moves the club through the swing whilst you hold it, so you feel what it should be like. Soooo much better than 15 years ago when my lessons consisted of hours of sending clumps of grass flying, and getting vague feedback from my then trainer. So in summary - I'm totally going back. Definitely recommend Geoff and this academy

After being a self-taught mediocre golfer for a number of years, I had two lessons from Scot Nei. Wow! At my first lesson , he corrected my swing by teaching me step by step the proper way to stand, grip, swing and follow through. He also had me sinking puts from 10-20 feet, which I would have said were impossible. But he showed me the mechanics. My golf game improved by about double. One thing I liked, is he didn't even begin by watching my swing - my old habits didn't matter. Instead he began at the beginning, with foot position, knee placement, and a ton on how to grip the club. At my next golf game, my partners wondered what happened! I have very high regard for Scot and his system of teaching.

I had the opportunity to have a lesson with the Robogolfpro in Calgary, Alberta at the newly opened Grand Slam Golf Academy. I have been a keen golfer for many years and the last few years I have worked hard to improve the plane of my golf swing which was hurting my consistency. Despite having great coaching and a lot of practice it was frustrating as I found I only made minor improvements and found it hard to know exactly how I wanted to move the club back. The Robogolfpro really delivered in terms of guiding me through the right movements. Finally I could really 'kinesthetically feel' the correct plane and position of the swing. The Robogolf showed me instantly the key moves I needed to make to gain the right plane. With the video right there I had instant visual feedback to assure me that my swing was where it should be and I am on the right track. Jaron, the pro that worked with me on the machine was so great. He was very patient and took time to be sure the machine was really ingraining the position I needed. At the Grand Slam Academy they have a virtual hitting area right next to the Robogolf machine so you can move seamlessly from the robot to using the 'new' swing feel right away in practice. They say a picture is worth a thousand words and I think being tied into the guidance of the Robogolfpro gives you that solid kinesthetic picture to ensure you really 'get' the feel of the position you are going for...it certainly helped me immeasurably after years of trying to get it on my own. Have head a couple lessons here, one with Scot and just yesterday with Luke. Both are very professional, know what they are doing. Luke was able to get right to work on flaws in my swing that I never thought of. By the end of our hour together I had full muscle memory of what we did. After playing golf with limited instructions for 20 years, I took the advice of a friend and got a lesson from Scot Nei. I wish I had done this 10 years ago! I played for the first time yesterday after just a few lessons and a golfing buddy of mine was astounded with the difference in my swing. Scot doesn't use gimmicks to correct flaws but rather teaches the fundemental golf swing and focus on you "feeling" the correct way to swing so that you can know what you are doing wrong and correct it. I recently moved back to the South Loop in Chicago from Michigan. In Michigan we belonged to a club which had a great practice facility with indoor hitting bays and golf simulation for the winter months. One of my first objectives when we moved back was to find a facility where I could work on my game. I found Play 18 Chicago and Tour Bound Golf Academy right in the Loop. First the facility itself is quite nice and everyone there is very accommodating. Second -- Location/Location/Location. Finally and most importantly is the instruction at Tour Bond Academy and specifically Geoff Lound. After watching and listening to Geoff provide instruction to others, I decided to sign up for a series of lessons with Geoff. During our first lesson Geoff wanted to understand my objectives and as all golfers I know would respond, I said "I would like more consistency". I shared my weaknesses, what I thought are my strengths, and that I would make a commitment to Geoff based on his commitment to me. Geoff has been excellent in explaining and working with me on some basics that have been the cause of some golf swing flaws/issues, Geoff provides notes and feedback via email, we have used the Robot on occasion to help me understand a different feel, and when I am at the facility practicing Geoff will stop by ask how it's going, take a peek at my swing -- demonstrating his commitment to me. For any golfer at any level I would highly recommend Geoff if you are looking to improve your game. I will continue to work with Geoff and take another series -- if the pro's work with swing coaches/instructors hackers with high single digit handicaps certainly can as well.

He patiently worked me through the lesson and sent me video with voice commentary to help reinforce the lesson. I took the changes to the range and hit the ball very well. I had a 2 day session with Geoff. The process was very useful for identifying swing flaws and for developing muscle and visual memory of the proper swing goal. The instruction included actual swing practice (into a net) with video recording and an personal instructor involved; muscle memory development (on the TourBound golf robot) for the correct swing with video records and instructor guidance and repetition of both actual swings and robotic practice. I felt this was a great way to identify, correct flaws and imprint the correct swing technique. Because I learn visually, thisfit my learning process well. On returning to my West Virginia golf environment, I am finding that although over a week has past, I am able to be much more consistent than before the teaching sessions. I thought that Geoff's explanations and guidance were very good and precise. I was worn out from the intensity of the drills but that is a good thing: breaking down the bad and replacing with the better. The combination of the video and verbal notes from Geoff and the use of the robot seems to have made a positive impact on my retention. I plan to make another trip to TourBound later in the summer before a trip to Scotland for a ProAm. Wish me success in improving my game and contributing to a success competition in the pro am tournament.

I had a fantastic golf lesson with Geoff Lound and the Robo Golf Pro at the Tourbound Golf Academy in Chicago. Although I have had years of lessons from a variety of teaching professionals, I found that Geoff's instruction, which he incorporated with the repetitions I had on the robot, was one of the most beneficial and worthwhile lessons I have had. I made a point to travel out of state and visit Chicago specifically for the opportunity to have a lesson with Geoff Lound and the robotic swing trainer, and it was well worth it. Geoff told me things I have never heard before, and I could actually "feel" what he was talking about when he programmed the robot to remove my swing flaws. He was patient and explained everything in way that I could understand. He was observant and thoughtful, and said what I needed to hear, without talking too much as some professionals are prone to do. He gave me his full attention and acted like I was his most important student. I had plenty of time with the robot and got to hit a lot of balls, and Geoff and the robot complemented each other very well. I highly recommend a lesson with Geoff Lound and the robotic swing trainer!

Took a two hour lesson with Scot on Saturday 9/22. Played a round on Sunday and my ball striking was the best it's ever been. Scoring wasn't quite there yet. Chipping and putting were a little erratic, but I'm sure Scot has effective drills to help in those areas. Looking forward to my next lesson and further improvement in my game. Five years ago I took a series of golf lessons from Scot Nei up at Geneva National. The experience was fanatstic. My game was at the highest level it has ever been during that time. Scot has a very easy to follow and understand teaching style which,I believe, would be truly effective for golfers at all levels. Since my time working with Scot, I've taken lessons with other professionals at Geneva National and my current club Ivanhoe. None of the other pros I worked with was able to duplicate the experience or results that I got from the time I spent with Scot. I look forward to working with Tourbound and using their wonderful facilities (especially the robotic swig trainer) to help me further enhance my game.

I have been a struggling 3 handicap for too many years to count. I love hitting balls, therefore I work tirelessly at my game. My wife and I did sessions with RoboGolfPro over Memorial Weekend. It was a pretty amazing experience. After filming my initial swing I was fitted to the Robogolfpro and taken through an ideal swing. Then based on my starting point Scot over corrected what I was doing wrong. I have to say it is a workout going through the process. Then he said: don't think about it, don't take a practice swing, just step over there and hit another ball. It does reprogram your brain! I went out and worked on what I had corrected and it was my wife's turn. She has been so frustrated getting lessons that she had given up. The first thing she said after going through an ideal swing was: So that is what it is supposed to feel like! Scot recognized that she had played tennis as well and incorporated those memories: so when you are releasing the club to strike the ball just swing it like a tennis racket. She know has a follow through that she never had. I can see this jump starting new golfers and helping frustrated ex golfers want to play again!

I received the opportunity to experience Robo Golf Pro at the PGA Merchandise Show after receiving an invite through Twitter. On the first day of the show I made my way to the booth for my appointment and met Lori Heller, Scott W.R. Nei and Shaun Clark. The premise behind the Robo Golf Pro was explained to me and I continued to make a couple of swings so Mr. Nei could get an idea of my swing/action.After a couple of swings he got the sense that I had a shorter more compact backswing. Some data was put into a computer and the Robo Golf Pro was put into action. I was put into various parts of the golf swing. Address, halfway back, the top and down through impact and release to the finish. Initially, being put into these positions was somewhat awkward and I felt stiff. As we progressed through the lesson Robo Golf Pro instructor Shaun Clark assisted with the firing of the hips to get the correct motion. As the lesson progressed further we pieced all of the components together and increased my lag angle pre-impact. When the lesson concluded I went to the Equipment Testing Center to see what would happen on a launch monitor. I hit clubs starting with 8 iron and I was hitting easy 160 yard shots with much less effort with more turn through the firing of my hips. My tendency is to use too much hands/arms in the swing and this is a fault that creeps back in every now and then. Using about a 60% effort swing I was hitting driver 275 yds total. Little use of arms and all sequence. I love how the Robo Golf Pro ingrained swing feelings and made you feel what the positions are supposed to feel like based on YOUR swing. The Robo Golf Pro works and I highly recommend it if you have a chance.

I met with Luke for an initial swing consult. Luke is young, but understands the fundamentals of golf and I believe is able to articulate them to a player of any skill level. We spent a good amount of time reinforcing swing mechanics and discussing things such as grip, hands, pivoting and following through. Naturally, all of that was reinforced with the robot. After one lesson I could feel my thought changing as I was on the course, so the benefits of the lesson in my opinion were immediate. I was already putting to work tips I learned with my time with Luke. I would recommend Luke and the Tour Bound Golf Academy to anyone looking for a competitively priced lesson backed by expert analysis and modern technology. Given the weather fluctuations in Chicago, I also believe it easier to stay on track with my lesson plan given all instruction is done inside, no more 90 degree summers and 30 degree winters at Diversey Driving range.

I have had many different lessons from paid trainers to friends/family and never had I learned so much about my swing(and my mechanical problems) but also how to correct them via the Robot and my Trainer Luke. I participated in a session on a Friday with Luke Schumann and the following Saturday, I participated in a Scramble Golf Outing. I know for a fact I saved multiple strokes just from participating in one session. Luke's professionalism and understanding of the robot and golf techniques in general made me comfortable and his genuine approach helped me learn how to improve. This academy's robot is truly one of a kind. The fact that everything is taped and then emailed to you with side by side comparisons is such a great tool. After this one lesson I plan on participating in many more and I truly do not see any reason to get lessons anywhere else. This place is top notch and the location downtown is perfectly placed. Convenient to the trains and the inside of the Academy is awesome. I cannot wait to go back and I am so excited to finally get an understanding of how to fix my swing and how to fix it permanently! Cant thank you guys enough.

I visited the robogolfpro at Pamilla in los Cabos Mexico. I am a 7 handicap and was struggling with consistency. I was shocked with how far off line my golf swing was. The machine put me on a perfect path and it was unbelievable. Added to my learning was Jaron Higgens the pro I dealt with. He understood the machine and the swing so well. I like details and he was able to explain to me things like where my hands should be, the ball positioning, where my elbows should be etc. He was patient and knowledgeable and I now know exactly what to practice when I go to the range.

Geoff Lound got me back 'on plane' got me to understand the mechanics behind a good golf swing. He was absolutely great. Took video of my swing and helped me understand what to do. Working with Geoff Lound on the robot. Have been a single digit hdcp for 50 years, but slipping more every year. Geoff is great - knows the swing and understands how to communicate ideas. The robot is off the wall incredible. First time through I could not believe how different the feeling was to my "normal" swing. Still getting used to the changes, but at least I feel confident that I know what the correct swing path is supposed to feel like. Highly recommended.

I found the robot with Geoff's instruction to be surprisingly helpful. I've taken a lot of lessons and gotten my handicap to a 12.4 but was stuck there. Incorporating the movement that Geoff programed into the robot allowed me to really improve my ball flight and more importantly my confidence in my swing. Met both Scot W.R.Nei and Mandy Von See at The PGA Safeway Open in Napa Valley at the SILVERADO RESORT AND SPA. He then brought me to the Tourbound robo machine which repeatedly forced me to make swings without my particular flaw. We did this over and over again until my own muscle memory took over and I understood how make a proper swing. I recently received as a birthday gift from my wife a three-lesson package at Tourbound Golf Academy with lead instructor, Geoff Lound. Prior to receiving this unexpected gift, I had never heard of Tourbound. I was surprised to learn that they are conveniently located in the loop, and even more surprised to hear that they are home to one of the few training robots in the country. As you can imagine, I was a bit skeptical at first, as I had never received formal golf training, nor had I ever been to an indoor facility that didn't disappoint. Fortunately, Tourbound Golf Academy is in a league of its own, and I just couldn't help but write this review about the place and its staff. The physical environment and finishes are ideal for such a setting. It conveys a warm feel with the hardwood floors, strategicallly placed lighting, and plush leather furniture...A smoking lounge meets a golf training facility. Needless to say, it is a very welcoming environment that is relaxing and approachable. An ideal refuge after strolling the streets of the hectic loop. The staff couldn't be more welcoming, but most importantly, they are extremely knowledgable. Lead Instructor Geoff Lound has the golf resume of a true pro and you can tell the minute he begins to assess your swing. Geoff's degree of professionalism and sincere interest in improving your swing is impressive. It is clear that he not only takes this game seriously, but wants to ensure you get out of these lessons what you expect. Add to that his great personality and sense of humor and you have an environment ideal for golf instruction. I just booked another package of lessons with Geoff as the first three were so beneficial. I can't wait to hit the course this summer as I have no doubt I will cut my score by double digits. I also intend on continuing to visit Geoff and Tourbound throughout the summer and beyond as the experience has been so positive and I continue to learn more about my game and ways to improve it with every lesson. If lessons are not in your future, you should note that Tourbound Golf Academy shares space with "Play 18 Chicago" so you can go hit balls on one of their many hitting bays if you want some practice in the winter, or you can play 18 holes on one of their two simulators which is surprisingly real. They also offer a full bar if you are interested in a beverage while you practice or play 18 with your friends. Had a lesson with Luke Schumman at the Chicago facility. Couldn't have been happier with the lesson. Within minutes Luke was able to point out the flaws in my swing that were causing inconsistency and then show me drills to correct the problems. The lovely IL weather kept me from trying out my new swing for about 2 weeks after the lesson. The weather has only allowed me to play one round since the lesson, but I could see a dramatic change in my game. The first 9 didn't reflect it in the score. I shot about my normal score, but that was caused by the fact that I couldn't rely on my old yardages or the natural draw I had before. Now I am hitting all my clubs longer and straight, I had to make adjustments accordingly. The 9th hole at the course I played is a par 5, the fairway runs along a pond for the last 100 yards. Normally I have to lay up and go for the green in 3 because I end up in the water, accuracy from over 150 was questionable. Drove the ball right down the middle, felt confident in my swing so I attacked the green, on in two. The lesson was worth it right there. Back nine was great, I had my distances almost dialed in. Went 4 over par on the back 9. Once I get all my distances dialed in and a few rounds with the new swing, I will be going back for another lesson to add some more tools to my game.

My experience at Tourbound Golf Academy with Geoff Lound was exceptional. Play18 is a beautiful facility located right in the loop. The spacious clubhouse themed golf facility is perfect for a hangout or corporate event. Play18 is complemented perfectly by the Tourbound Golf Academy. In many cases if you walk into a business with a Groupon, you get sub-par service. At Tourbound, it's the opposite. They appreciate your business and view the Groupon as an opportunity to showcase their product and services and look to establish a business relationship with you going forward. Geoff is a very skilled instructor, a talented golfer, and an all around good guy. A fifty minute lesson isn't very long, and Geoff quickly and expertly analyzed my swing, saw flaws and created a plan to correct my swing and improve my game. The golf robot is immensely helpful in allowing golfers to improve quickly. The robot positions you in such a way that you feel exactly where every part of your body at each point during the swing. You develop muscle memory quickly so you able to repeat the swing later without the machine's guidance. The follow up from the lesson was thorough and certainly exceeded all expectations. i received video analysis of my swing, both before and after the lesson, and drills on what I need to do to improve. My biggest issue was consistency and after trying my new swing at the range today, I'm amazed at how much of a difference one lesson can make. I do intend to return for more lessons in the near future.

I went on the Robo Golf Pro with Jaron at Palmilla in Cabo. Jaron is the perfect instructor for this system which in turn is a mind blower! I am 76 and still play to a 2, but I am hitting the ball much further and with more consistency than I have in years. Just remember to be patient....no good change takes place in a heart beat, and it will take time to incorporate what might seem to be radical until you watch every touring pro doing the same thing. I was skeptical of the swing robot after the first lesson, but grew to really like it after a while. I can't say enough good things about Tour Bound! For starters, the location is conveniently located in the loop right next to the el and bus stops making it super easy to access. The hours of operation are great to fit pretty much anyone's schedule esp late night working professionals like myself. The facility is state of the art and kept impeccably clean (much appreciated when I bank on using the bathroom to change out of my work clothes). I came to Tour Bound first off a groupon. To be honest I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised and pleased with just the 50 minutes of instruction with Geoff Lound. So much that I signed up for additional lessons same day. Geoff is not only an extremely talented golfer but a gifted teacher. He has a way of explaining the mechanics of the swing that makes it easy for you to pick up the technique and also remember for when you're out practicing on your own. He is attentive and adaptive to your individual learning style and very personable which makes the lessons fun and something you look forward to. They video tape your swing which I've found extremely helpful in understanding my not so good habits. I'm only 4 lessons in and have seen dramatic improvements. Much more than I have gotten from any other lessons in the past (and believe me I have tried my fair share). I highly recommend checking this place out whether you're a beginner or experienced golfer!

I had the opportunity to see the robot in action during the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am but wasn't able to fully understand the entire scope until yesterday. My son spent 3 hours working with Scot and Laird, amazing is the perfect word that describe what i witnessed. Obviously they are incredibly accomplished instructors but what they now have in there arsenal is simply game changing. I challenge anyone to argue that this doesn't make sense, The robot allows the student to experience what instuctors have been trying to teach forever, getting in the the proper position thoughout the entire swing and then repeating it over an over until it becomes habit. Alternating between hitting balls outside and working with the robot is the key and final piece of the puzzle to better, more enjoyable golf. If you don't try it you better go buy more golf balls. I really enjoyed my lesson with Luke and am still in shock at how many different aspects (flaws!) of my swing we addressed in just an hour - grip, hips, weight shifting, backswing angle - absolutely incredible. Luke was instantly able to identify weaknesses and very logical in his approach and sequence to address them. He explained everything in such a straightforward yet knowledgeable way, making it easier for me to grasp and apply it. Couple all of that with the benefits of the robot and it was great. Real versus feel is solved with this amazing learning tool. You will know what a perfect golf swing feels like for the 1st time and will gain distance and pop to your shots. I gained 20% in the 1st round then another 5+% in the second and third. 1st round showed me perfect. 2nd round was somewhat exaggerated to help force my minds eye to see what I needed to pay attention to. 3rd round was exaggerated to fix those things I tended to do wrong. Scot (at Pebble Beach) used Tracman to capture the changes. I could hear and feel the changes. That week at the range I was hitting shots I frankly had never seen in my life. I was inside out, square back and through and delivering the club to the ball with an efficiency and power I had never seen or heard before in 45 years. I *WAS a 1.6 handicap in 2002 so I know what it feels like to hit the ball well. I can say now I was compensating and overcoming weaknesses with athletic skills and strength. RoboGolfPro has me applying correct technique to my swing instead. I would urge a series of lessons over three months with gaps between to work on grooving what you learned with each one. Three IMHO would get you where you need to be. Also if you are a beginner this is a MUST DO so you do not spend decades grooving bad habits. Fantastic tool. Worth the cost of a lesson in savings from unnecessary lessons and wasted range balls. What is your time worth? This gets you there NOW not in 10 years. I am considering investing in a machine in the SF Bay Area as a business because I believe in its effectiveness. It works and it makes a frustrating game way more fun.

I had a session at Pebble Beach with Scott. I'm 65, have played all my life, and handicap has gone from 5 to 9 the last five years. I travel a fair amount in my job and have enjoyed taking lessons from some of the best instructors, names you would recognize. I'm writing this review b/c my lesson with Scott and the Robo was the best and most helpful, by a large margin. It was invaluable to actually feel the correct positions via the Robo, and Scott provided clear explanations as to why they were correct. A great combination. Results-on the range it's a huge improvement. The real test, though, is on the course playing competitive rounds, I've also seen improvement. My last 3 scores were under my handicap, and in a match on Sunday I won one up finishing with 5 straight pars. The driver is longer and short irons very crisp. Our ninth hole at about 250 off the tee goes down a steep hill and ends in front of the elevated green. I usually hit it 225-230 and have 125-130 left. If you hit it 250 the ball will run down the hill and finish in front of the green. The robot was a nice feature that helped with the repetition of the adjustments suggested but more time would be needed for me to have seen a great improvement and my session was split with my brother which was not the most effective approach. It was a quick crash course I got through Groupon. Facilities were nice and Luke knew his stuff so it's a good place to go if you looking for improvements.
