I have played here twice and have it enjoyed it both times. Thankfully I have upped my skill since my first time and did not lose a single ball on the few holes with water hazards. Both times I have had a little back-up on the course, but also have played during peak time both times, so it is as to be expected. There are plenty of benches (I walked), rest stops and scenery to keep you occupied while waiting to tee off. Note-Fall 2022 they are redoing the parking lot so don't drive your brand new car here until it's done!

Amazing little course. It's a full length 9 hole course. Plenty of variation in the holes. I was pleasantly surpsied by this little gem. All the employees were very nice and welcoming. We felt at home having a beer after our round. Will definitely be coming here more often.

The course is in good shape . But not as fun as it used to be. They don't have scrambles anymore. They used to do a couple of year. It was fun to see all the Regular and new neighborhood golfers.. Maybe it's too much work for them.

Excellent driving range. Also, Barbara in the clubhouse is very knowledgeable and useful. When I cut my hand she was immediately there with a first aid kit.

As first time golfers we were really nervous but everyone was super welcoming and nice. The ranger helped us out a lot and made sure we had a good time. Would go again!

The lush green grass, supportive staff and great company of golfers made my visit amazing. The Course is very well managed and the green is challenging as well. The 9 holes we played were very well designed and we always knew where the next hole is. The descriptions of each hole can be elaborated a bit more especially for new golfers on this course. Overall, i had a 5 star experience :)

This is a great 9 hole course. It's a little challenging and should take you 1 1/2 hours to play. The last 2 times golfing my foursome was behind a group that took for ever. It took nearly 3 hours to complete. The grounds are immaculate but they definitely need to move golfers along. I usually par 2 to three holes on a 9 hole course but these kind of delays prevent you from getting into any kind of rhythm.

For what it is, this is a great course. Decently maintained and has enough distance and angles to make it worth playing for good golfers, as well as the beginners. I was expecting your standard 9 hole, muni par 3 course. I was wrong and now I play it regularly.

Nice, shorter 9-hole course. Lighted Driving range. Can be extremely busy on weekends and holidays - easily 2-2.5 hrs per round. Snack shop has a very limited menu. Bar area is nice as is the outdoor deck with a good view of the 9th fairway and water hazard.

I didn't eat here but I played 9. The lady at the clubhouse and the starter were very nice. I like the course layout. I found the pace of play really slow...I don't know that it is this way all the time but it was when I visited. Fortunately I had the time and was able to get some good practice in while I waited (nearly every hole). I'll go back again for sure as its really close by.

This golf course is a gem. It's short but It's very well maintained. Greens could be better but what do you expect for about $24 in the Chicago area. Driving range is lighter so it's great if you want to swing (pun intended) by after dinner and hit a bucket of balls. Only downside is they push you out the tee box like cattle to the slaughter so there's always log jams on the 2nd tee because it's a part 3.

Nine hole course with driving range and putting practice green. Clubhouse has small bar and counter service kitchen. Course is well kept - greens and tee boxes, along with fairways had minimal if no signs of "wear". Parking lot is amply sized and can usually find space easily.

I play on the Women’s League, Monday nights. This is my second year. Love this course! It is always so well manicured and the fairways are almost as short at the greens. Beautiful, hilly, course with some welcoming shade on hot days!

Flagg Creek Golf Course is a nine hole, par 33 course, jointly owned by the City of Countryside and the Pleasant Dale Park District. Converted from a 12 hole course, the central three holes were changed into a nice driving range with both mat and grass tees. Pitching practice areas are available behind the seventh fairway and the ninth tee. A practice putting green lies between the clubhouse and the driving range. If you are a consistently good shot maker, you should be able to avoid most of the strategically placed hazards. Most of the par four holes are straight, but ending in tiny, little mini-dog legs, containing the greens- along with mounds and sand traps to catch errant efforts. After a few practice rounds, you will learn how a few yards or degrees difference in your drives will either catch a fairway mound, or use it as a ramp to gain extra yardage. Canadian Geese love the ponds in season, adding a possible "slipping hazard" when you walk: so, watch where you step - you have been warned! The greens are similarly designed to challenge the golfer. Multiple undulations, level changes and "brows" are all there to sneak a few extra strokes onto your score card. The nicely appointed clubhouse includes a pro shop and restaurant with bar. The adjacent covered patio overlooks the pond with spray fountain on the ninth fairway. The course is well-maintained with colorful floral displays during season. Fairways and greens are well watered. Frequent golfers should buy a Discount Card which gives the purchaser $115 in value for every $100 paid. See you in the clubhouse!

Flag Creek is a 4.5 rated golf course I would give them 5 stars if they didn't have the golfers utilize the cart path as often as they do

this place has the worst drainage system than any course i've played in chicago. half the course is perpetually flooded for most of the year. $20 for walking 9 holes during the season.
