Great course. Very playable, has its challenges, but a very enjoyable course to play. Played it during aeration and it was still beautiful and in great condition. Short par 3’s are made challenging being near the water on a windy day. Golf carts have great gps system that show exact pin locations, very helpful. Will definitely play this course again

I don't even know where to start! My husband and I recently got married at Bucks Run in August of 2019 and we can't express how appreciative we are on how amazing they made our wedding day. Every women dreams of the perfect wedding day and Amy the wedding coordinator with Bucks Run and the beauty of the facility made that perfect day possible. We fell in love with this venue after attending a bridal show and meeting with Amy for our first time! Amy was wonderful from the start. She was so responsive and reassuring and paid attention to every little detail. There were times on Sunday nights where I would email her at 2100 and I would get a response right away, reassuring me that everything was going to be perfect. Now I don't know about anyone else, but this was my first wedding and I couldn't have imagined having it any other place. I never felt stressed through the planning process because of how knowledgeable Amy is and how she is so willing to work with you to make your wedding day exactly as you imagine. She helped guide us along the entire process and if it wasn't for her there probably would have been quite a few tears shed in the process. The day of the wedding Amy was present the whole time to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. Amy was also very accommodating along with chef Ben when I needed to change two plates for my guests that were vegan just 2 weeks before the wedding day! She made our decorations look perfect that fell down from the night before decorating and took care of it all for us so we could relax and get ready. While also making sure we were all settled in while getting ready in the VIP suite. The Bucks Run crew set up our chairs for our ceremony and were so attentive to everyone's drinks for the reception. This place is absolutely stunning and not far from hotels for out of town guests! There are also many beautiful places around the course for amazing pictures which Amy helps guide you to! Thank you Bucks Run and Amy for making our wedding day perfect we wouldn't have wanted it any other way!

Have been playing this course since the 1st year it opened. All the staff from pro shop, to grounds crew, and the restaurant are all so friendly. The course has been maintained exceptionally well and the greens are probably the best in the whole central Michigan area. Love to play this course any opportunity I get!

Beautiful course kept in excellent condition. There is a great mix of really difficult holes that test your accuracy and more manageable holes that have room to make mistakes. But even the shorter par 4s are built to put you in a better position depending on where you place your drive. Course knowledge is a huge benefit.

Love making a trip up to midland/Mt. Pleseant to play this gem. The course is always in good shape. The design is my favorite every hole has a unique feel to it. Would recommend if you are planning on playing up there.

We had our daughter’s wedding at Bucks Run on October 30th. We cannot express enough how pleased we were with EVERYTHING! Amy was top notch with helping us with the arrangements and making sure everything was perfect! The food was excellent, we had so many compliments on how delicious everything was. My husband and I were married at Bucks Run at the beginning of June 2021, and our day couldn't have been more perfect. The service and food was excellent. The staff were super friendly and attentive. We received NUMEROUS compliments from our guests about how wonderful everything was! Plus, Amy (the Wedding Coordinator), was a tremendous help through the entire planning process. Whether it was taking responsibilities off our plate, assisting with day-of coordination, or simply responding to our minor questions after hours, she truly gave us peace of mind through the entire planning process. And last but not least, Bucks Run is simply beautiful. Between the large banquet room, the comfortable patio, and the gorgeous lake/golf course views, we couldn't have asked for a better setting. We highly recommend Bucks Run for your special day!

What a gem! Great experience from the time I dropped my bag until we left. The course was in a great shape and played like your favorite "Up North" course. Appropriate pairings and start times that are actually controlled. Fantastic pro shop and bar service. We sat down for a normal lunch after the round and the food was outstanding. Even a non-golfer can appreciate the menu and views that the patio had to offer. Lookin' forward to a return here!

First time I've been there and there isn't one thing I have to say negative. The course was fantastic! The staff was top notch! Food was excellent! Even the good carts are updated, comfy, electric (finally a place without noisey carts!) and yardages on the GPS. Quite pricey but to have an awesome course bar and grill I get it. I'll be going back there for sure!

This course is one of the best tracks I have had the pleasure to play! The Pro Jon Conklin went out of his way to make sure that our foursome was well taken care of from when we pulled in parking lot until we left after enjoying a great meal after our round! The course condition, hole locations, amenities and layout are a cut above the best courses in Michigan and I would recommend anyone planning golf trip to book a Tee time and dinner at Bucks Run! Well Done!

Buck's Run is a great facility. The golf course is challenging, beautiful and yet friendly all at the same time. The restaurant and lounge are very well appointed and offer great views of the golf course and ponds. The staff offer friendly and excellent service. The kitchen and bar staff do an excellent job of preparing your order how you ordered it and the results speak for themselves. I have visited a few times in the last year and will be doubling that in the coming year no doubt. I should add that their COVID prep is far and away better than any other establishment I have been to.

Attended a wedding at this most gorgeous venue. Such a beautiful setting. Facility was top notch. View of the course is picturesque. Staff was awesome! Witnessed one staffer walk up to an elderly woman with a walker and offer to go through the buffet and get her food for her, as well as carry it back to her table. Food was good, but I wouldn't say great. Overall, very memorable experience.

A beautiful course in Mid-Michigan! Probably a little bit above average cost but it's well worth it. This course is challenging and fun and playable for all skill levels. No shortage of water on the course and it's always in great shape. Staff does a great job keeping it tournament ready. Thankful to live near Bucks Run! Come check it out

Server was excellent, food was delicious and loved that there were items on their menu that you don't see everywhere. I had seafood pasta and loved that the scallops and shrimp were cooked separately and added to the top. Very good, would definitely return.

One of the nicest, most well taken care of courses in the Central Michigan area. The staff is often hit or miss, as some are kuch friendlier than others, however the grounds and architecture of the course will have you enjoying every moment of your round. Just be prepared to lose a couple balls, as the course is very challenging!

After finishing the 7th hole, I ordered a hamburger with GPS in the cart. But when I got to the grill, nothing was ready, and after a long time, four hamburgers were ready. But the $16 hamburger had no vegetables but cheese and meat. I was so angry that I asked for lettuce and tomatoes, so he went into the main building and brought them. It was a very sorry day for my business partners from Detroit.

If you are thinking about having the perfect outdoor wedding, this is the place for you. Bucks Run Golf Club was the perfect place since we first came in, beautiful views, amazing staff and incredibly good food! We couldn't ask for more. All the staff was super helpful and attentive every second of our wedding. Our special thanks goes to Amy, who was there helping and making sure our day was perfect from beginning to end. She took care of EVERYTHING, she definitely will take the stress off your shoulders during your big day, we LOVED working with her. I will recommend everything of this venue: the food, which has so many options and a large menu, the views, the service, the staff and 100% recommend for the price. Thank you Amy and thank you Bucks Run Golf Club, we definitely had the perfect wedding day!

During these uncertain times, Bucks Run made our wedding so special and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! The event coordinator (Amy) was so helpful and easy to work with. The six months leading up to our wedding, she was easy to communicate with and kept us in the loop the entire time. She always responded to calls and emails, even if she was out of the office. If for some reason she wasn’t available, Brien was able to step in and assist. Someone was always available and responding! The entire staff at Bucks Run was so accommodating and made sure the night was one to remember, while still staying safe. We couldn’t have asked for a more amazing, memorable wedding thanks to Bucks Run! We will definitely look into hosting future events at Bucks Run because was how smooth and fantastic everything went!

My wife & I drove up in the AM for 18. This place is perfect in every way. We replayed because of the first class operations and conditions. Greens rolled like no other publinx. Great layout of holes. I do have an issue with six but that’s on me. It’s well worth the drive. Thanks for a great day Bucks Run.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Bucks Run. The venue is absolutely beautiful. We had our wedding on the golf course, as well as the reception inside the reception hall, and we got so many compliments about how beautiful everything was. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They treated us with so much respect and were SO helpful throughout the planning process, as well as on the day of the wedding. With working with Alanna, I felt like I had a partial wedding planner because she took care of so much for me. The staff put up all of the decorations for us. All I had to do was drop everything off the night before the wedding, and the only thing that I needed to do the morning of was set up the pergola (which I probably would have wanted to do anyway, since I knew how I wanted it to look). They had a golf outing the morning of the wedding, so I do have to say I was very nervous when it was getting very close to the wedding time and our reception hall was still not set up yet. However, the staff reassured me many times that they do this every year and that everything would be set up in time. And they were right, I had nothing to worry about. They set up everything on time, and each decoration was flawless. I am so grateful to Bucks Run because of how much stress they took off of me and my family on our wedding day. Because of their wonderful staff, we were able to enjoy our perfect day with little to no stress, and for that alone I would highly recommend Bucks Run for a wedding venue!!

Fantastic course, one of the nicest I've played in a long time. Ground were impeccable and the staff made us feel like we'd been members for decades. Won't have a reason to play here again, as well traveled a long distance to participate in a special outing, but I will certainly be dreaming of having an excuse to return someday!

Bucks Run is a beautiful course with outstanding conditions.......tee boxes, fairways and greens all terrific! Great layout that players of all levels can enjoy. GPS on carts is a very nice touch. Also high marks for the clubhouse and staff....we dined in the restaurant and it was excellent.

Great wedding ceremony and reception. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The facility has a nice size room available for the bride/bridesmaids to get ready away from the groom/groomsmen/guests. Food was good at a reasonable price.

Beautiful piece of land with the river and ponds. Loved the layout and flow of the course. Thought the greens were in excellent shape considering it was April when I played. From the white tees this was 1 fun course! I would normally give Bucks Run 5 Stars but the green fees are a little steep in season.

This is a great course, I don't get to play golf much these days, but I had a wonderful time out there recently. Very picturesque course. Bring extra golf balls it has some tough holes, but totally worth it. I also love that you see very few homes on or near the course.

We had our April 2019 wedding and reception at Bucks Run Golf Club and we were totally blown away by the level of service and care we received. From our first meeting with Amy, we knew it was the place we wanted to hold our wedding. Despite the fact that they have many events going on throughout the year, Amy made us feel like we were her only priority each time we reached out to her--even for the smallest of questions. She was very prompt at responding to emails, able to accommodate all of our requests, and on top of that, the nicest person to work with. During our tasting event, we met the chef, Ben, and were treated to a smorgasbord of options that all tasted amazing. You can't go wrong with any of the dinner selections and they were more than willing to work with all dietary needs and our budget. The planning process was easy and was less stressful in large part to Amy's organization and how proactive she is. When it came to the wedding day itself, Amy and the rest of the staff at Bucks Run made us feel like royalty and treated our guests like family. We received compliments from our guests on how impressed they were with the venue, food, and staff. They were able to accommodate a last minute ceremony venue change due to weather and had everything set up for our ceremony and reception exactly how we imagined it. The waitstaff and bar staff went out of their way to make sure every guest had everything they needed throughout the night and were aware of the bar hours and when food was being taken down. My husband and I didn't have to worry about anything other than ourselves all night and that was the best gift we received. In terms of value, Bucks Run cannot be beat. We must have researched hundreds of venues across the state trying to find one that did not nickel and dime us for everything or make you take out your own trash at the end of the night. It's shocking how many places are just not up front about what they offer, but Amy was entirely transparent and honest about everything that would be included. She even gave us tips for what to ask about when we looked at other venues (which we didn't end up doing because we knew after meeting her and seeing the space that we would get married there). On top of the care and attention, the venue is absolutely gorgeous! The golf course is meticulously maintained, even in the early part of the season, and the inside is very well cared for and has beautiful spots for indoor pictures if needed. We could not have had a more perfect wedding and it was made so easy and special for us by Amy and the rest of the team at Bucks Run. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding/reception venue or any other event venue. You will not be disappointed!

One of our favorite places to eat. Our waitress Jackie is friendly, polite and attentive. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is inviting. We love to go for the steak and lobster. We highly recommend the New Year's Eve buffet.

Bucks Run is absolutely beautiful. One of the best links courses in Michigan, maybe the Midwest. It's expensive but the views are worth it. It's also the only course that I know of in Michigan to offer golf boards.

One of my two favorite courses in the state of Michigan. This course and Forrest Dunes in Roscommon are awesome courses. Almost every hole is challenging and some of the views are simply amazing. A lot of holes are over water and a lot of holes make you think tee off or approach the green. I highly recommend this golf course.

Great course. GPS was nice but cart path restrictions should be displayed on the screen as driving the cart in low power reverse gets old. Also the guy in the clubhouse was kind of rude. The food was also very good.

I played here last month. The course was in fantastic shape and the greens rolled fast and true. The staff was very friendly and I enjoyed lunch at Quarry Grill with the Jalapeno Bacon Chicken sandwich. I look forward to returning next summer.

Nice as usual....greens seem very rootless which makes them unfairly fast...... Very hard to hold a ball from 150 even if ya hit right into it.... And dont forget mosquito spray they get lil thicker everyday
