Reviews of Ridgecrest Golf Club
Great course, interesting layout and well maintained. Beautiful views of the valley and mountains in the distance. While not an upscale country club, you definitely want to have some experience before playing here and know good etiquette.
One star comes off because the pace of play was very slow. Our round took over 5 hours, and the clubhouse is closed currently so it's not like there was any reason for a break or anything. We had to wait at almost every hole to tee off, and everyone was backed up in front of and behind us all day.
Overall would definitely recommend, prices are pretty good for how nice of a course it is. Would be a 5/5 if it wasn't as crowded and slow to play.
Golf in this state is super cheap. I'm used to playing for $50 with a cart. This track is challenging and fun for $40.
A very nice well maintained little course. Located in Nampa ID. Great staff, nice wide fairways and BEAUTIFUL greens. Try it fot a relaxing round of golf.
Ridgecrest is one of my top 5 favorite golf courses in the treasure valley. They host the Nampa Amateur Tournament, they had great food this year from Texas Roadhouse.
My first love!!! Super fine
Great golf course with lots of variety throughout the round. The course is kept in great shape. I love the practice areas. Lots of space to chip and putt. The Executive (wee) 9 is also great for those just learning the game or when you want to get out and play but don’t have a tee time.
Really nice place, will try the champ course next time I'm thru the area
Nice course and has it's challenges. I put 4 stars because a few months ago we were rushed by the marshal at the turn and he didn't let us play 10 or 11. We had to go straight to 12 which was pretty messed up. We weren't playing to THEIR pace and there was no one waiting behind us. We should have just left at that point. BUT I did come back and play again and it was a fine experience. May have been a one-off situation but that will be in the back of my mind any time I go there.
Very nice place and friendly staff. Pricng is pretty average for an establishment like this. You can tell they are trying to stay very nice and clean to attract, well high tier golfers, which is not me. For that reason I felt a little out of place, but if that's you, this place will do perfect for you.
One of the better tracks in the valley. Well maintained facility you will not be disappointed. Pace of play can be slow at times however the wait is still worth it. The course is set up for the expert and middle golfer.
Great golf course! But what sets Ridgecrest apart aee the people who work there. Very accommodating. Thew pro shop was very busy but didn't wait very long, it was our first time, they walked us outside and showed us where to tee off. My new favorite course.
I always enjoy playing at Ridgecrest. The staff is friendly and personable. I like walking into the clubhouse and everyone knows me by name. The greens are well kept as are the fairways. This course is a nice course for any skill level. Prices are competitive and twilight prices are superb. I highly recommend playing this course.
Ridgecrest has great executive and championship courses. The staff is friendlly and helpful, with the exception of Tim Bensley. Why Ridgecrest keeps such a grump around is beyond me.
This is a great course with well kept fairways and greens..... they do a great job and good value too....... my only complaint is being approached by a young kid from the club house telling us to hurry up or let people through? The 18 holes took us 4 hours on the dot? Not too bad considering one of our group was having a rough day. But that aside can't complain about the course .... gd day
Ridgecrest is a great public course. The green fees and cart rentals are reasonably priced and the course is fantastic. The Wee 9 is fun for a quick few holes. Great value for the price.
Always have liked this course, and was happy to give them my money :). Glad to hear they aren't going to tear it and Centennial up to build housing. Course was in great shape all around. The range is really nice too. The twilight price is insanely good; 27 with cart on a Saturday? Yeah, I'll take that.
Nice staff, well maintained, and a full 18 holes available! Nice place to spend a day playing golf. They also have a nice big driving range, putting green and chipping area as well! Would definitely recommend!
Very playable and challenging. Nice venue with tremendous views. The championship course can play tough in the wind. The executive 9 is easy to play in 60-70 minutes when it's not a weekend.
This course has excellent practice facilities: large undulating pitching green, big practice sand traps, plenty of room on natural grass driving range AND very reasonably priced.
Nice course. Always has been well maintained and the course is in great shape.
We love going out to Ridgecrest! Our son is on one of their PGA jr leagues and plays in the Tuesday morning jr league as well. You won’t find a course more kid friendly with pros that care about teaching them the game of golf more! My favorite part is that this course has many “seasoned” members that love seeing all the kids out there!!
Very fun course. Great views. Course felt that it was meant to be played with a cart. Large concrete paths, some steep inclines. Walked it the other day and it beat me up. Will play again but with be getting a cart.
One of my all time favorite places to golf. Spent many summer nights as a kid out there playing the wee nine as much as I could. Don’t play as much now but still enjoy getting out there!
First 4 holes are pretty loud since they are right by the freeway. It's a decent if unremarkable golf course. Price is okay.
Greens were pristine, course was in relative good condition considering the high temps. The staff has always been gracious and cooperative.
Great course in really good shape. Definitely a good value. Wish I lived a little closer so I could play more often.
Older Marshal a little frustrating following you around the course. He pulled a young group aside to tell them about the rules in front of our 4some because of their slow play next to a par 5 green and then when a 245 yd 2nd shot rolled up next to them he lectured us about playing into him? Next time lecture them on the following teebox so we can all hit our 2nd shots 👍
The course is in good shape heading into this hot spell. Nice practice facilities and the Wee 9 is great for a quick outing.
Really enjoyed golfing here. Twilight golf was super fun and not crowded. Good course, some challenging holes.
Pretty good Executive 9 course. The driving range is reasonable. Haven't played the Championship course but heard it's pretty good as well.
fun course I liked it
I love this course. It is challenging for my skill level and is well taken care of. Greens are in great shape! I think one of the best values around.
We have done the executive course and the practice driving range and putting green. We always have a wonderful fearful experience. Prices aren't too bad.
Greens were rolling fast, course was setup tough due to Club Championship, so was very enjoyable to pkay.
Great golf course with challenging holes. Fairways are well taken care of and the staff have always been helpful and nice.
Great golf course. Well maintained and enjoyable with friends. Cafe was filling employee friendly. Not a long wait time.
Fun executive 9. Pop in for a quick round at affordable fees. Cart rental recommended for the couple of hill climbs.
They need to mow their intermediate rough. They think amateurs are playing in the US open. Miss the fairway and you're looking at bogey at best.
I like playing this course, it is always well maintained and the prices are reasonable. Very helpful staff and I like all the different activities they offer.
Best greens in the valley! BUT not a single water station and when it's 105... they are needed!!!!!
Open course but still fun. Hard to lose golf balls:) The back 9 are especially enjoyable!
Really enjoy this course. More expensive some of the other courses but it's nice. Staff isn't very friendly
Nice Course. The Wee Nine is a great value and fun time when you don't have time for 18.
Great. I got an eagle! Not bad, for 85 years old!!
Good place to play getting expensive but so is everything else
Ridgecrest is always awesome, from the course conditions to the staff. And you can't beat the Twilight rate ... $25 after 3PM and includes cart!
Course is fun but not sure if it's worth the cost of a round.
Great course staff is so helpful
Very professional staff and fun course
Course still not up to par because of winter conditions..a little windy today..still a good idea...
Great place to relax and golf. Great atmosphere and wonderful workers. Great place to have fun and golf.
Fun every day
Played this course a few years ago and was very, very impressed. Very nice and challenging course.
Great course and the Executive Course is fun and affordable as well
Night crew way better than the day. Pretty quiet on the range tonight.
Nice layout. Course in good condition.
Staff friendly and helpful
Very good golf course
Nice layout and course in good condition. Moderate level of difficulty, lots of wide fairways.
Always great on the wee 9
Beautiful course, and challenging at times. Fun place to play.
Great public course. Good prices, facility, range, and pro shop.

Great course but crowded.
Played some Foot Golf. A lot of fun. I highly recommend giving it a try some time.
Great practice facility. Perfect for short game shots ... $$$
Best practice facility in the valley, and one of the best courses.
Where I played my first round. Love this course.
Nice course, needs a little help on condition
This is one of my favorite courses in the Treasure Valley.
The young clubhouse staff is so nice and helpful.
Great staff, multiple coarses, great place to play.
Well maintained course, a little pricey tho.
The course is surprisingly technical, but tons of fun
One of the best Muni tracks ever.

Played the executive 9. Lots of weeds
Wee 9 is great and cheap for all day!
