BanBury doesn't have much elevation change or dogleg to it, but does have some sort of water skirting many of the holes. Being flat and straight makes it an easy course to walk. BanBury was in good shape when I played it. It was one of the higher priced courses in the area to play and I found others around much more interesting to play. The funnest shots on the course to me were... Trying to hook a driver over the ditch on 12 tee box. Trying to reach the green from the tee on 17. Numbers 2 an 18 have fun/scary second shots at the green if you get the opportunity.

Stunning and peaceful, the surrounding neighborhood is full of a nice variety of birds and other animals. The people are kind and stay to themselves unless otherwise provoked. I’m which case, are great people to chat with.

I love the shade and trees, but this has to be one of the most expensive driving ranges, but maybe I am spoiled with the Boise public golf courses.

Just stopped in for lunch. Nice little grill for a quick meal...good food and nice scenery. Update: Finally played the course. Great condition and greens were perfect and fairly fast. Tough pin placements today. Lots of water hazards but fairways are wide and in really good condition after the rain we just had. Easy course to walk. A bit pricey for this area….my only complaint

Greens were in great shape, front 9 completed in 1 hour 40 minutes, beautiful up close views of the Boise river on holes 12 and 13, great place to spend your morning or afternoon.

I took my office on a golf outing. We had some last minute reservation changes, and several people who had not golfed before and didn't really know the process. The guys at the pro shop were super helpful and supportive, and our group had a blast! The course is very nice, the staff was great. Thank you for giving our office such a fun day!

Played this course multiple times and it's been great. Except lately when I booked a tee time online for a set price that it showed for that time/day and once I arrived and checked in with the pro shop, the kid tried to charge me $20 more per person. I showed him the email with the price I booked it at and asked why he's trying to charge me more and he made up some excuse about how the online rates must not be correct and I said that's not my fault that your website is messed up and showing the wrong pricing. He kept saying there's nothing he can do about it. So after 10 mins of the kid arguing with me and asking for the manager multiple times, he finally got him and explained the situation and he adjusted the price to the original amount I booked for. I've also heard them doing this to a few friends of mine as well and it's not right. I've never booked a tee time online then had them try to charge me a different amount at check in. If they keep this up, the word will get out in the valley about Banbury and they'll have an empty course. I know I won't be going back to play here as I don't even want to deal with the possibility of this happening again. Also, their prices have gotten out of control. There's plenty other better courses in the valley for way cheaper.

I'm a wedding photographer and have photographer a couple of weddings at Banbury. It's a beautiful location. My only cation would be that the bridal suite is actually not very private. Also, time your wedding right about golden hour, because the sun can get very strong where they usually have the ceremonies.

I love this golf course. I have been playing golf for close to 40 years. This course is one of my favorites. It's beautiful as it winds its way through a very nice neighborhood. It's challenging enough yet still allows for the golfer to be free to hit the club he wants to. It's very well kept and easy to walk if you wish. I'll be coming back here a lot.

I haven't played the course yet, but went to the driving range. It looks like the best time to hit/play would be sometime before 4:00pm as the driving range was full (school golf teams & instructors). However, the place is beautiful and sitting for half an hour waiting for a spot to open on the range wasn't a bother. Decent price of $6 for 55 balls. Will review again after playing the course.

Although our experience with Jordan the Head Pro wasn’t great Rob the GM is fantastic. He’s working hard to change the previous culture at Banbury. If he can accomplish what he’s set out to do, Banbury will get back to the Golfing Gem it once was.

Started playing here weekly about a month ago and not only is this one of the nicest courses in the Valley but it’s also well kept! If that wasn’t enough this place has the absolute best and nicest people working there, Drew in the pro shop is top notch with customer service and the way he treats guests to the course as does everyone else who works there! Definitely my go to course in the valley!

Place has gone downhill. Bathrooms dirty inside clubhouse, no water on course during 100°+ weather and I had confirmation on my phone for a t time and they moved it to a later time. Really? Sad to see.

Great course, very beautiful area. There are a lot of small ponds and canals spread around the course. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Great spot to play a quick 9 after work. Pretty flat too so it's easily playable without a cart.

Man this course was epic was not only beautiful but also had amazing greens and fairways came up from lewiston clarkston area to play and oh man was better then any course ive played on from home. You can get a quick round in here finished 9 hole in about an hour and 5 min plus the staff got me out faster than expected on a busy day so i was very thankful.

Staff is great and course conditions are fantastic. Pace of play was great as well, Saturday 8am start and done at noon. Well worth the drive and looking forward to being back soon.

nice layout, hey management lay off the water.... August golf in the afternoon.... mud on my ball most of the day?.... greens really slow.... almost unplayable.... the fairways at Riviera country club.... are faster than these greens... hey management what's wrong with Summer golf being firm and fast...?...... your groundskeeper and management are just nothing but lazy people you think water is the answer to everything when keeping a course up....

The course is one of a kind-very enjoyable and easy to walk. The staff is always nice and helpful, and they have a large amount of kids programs for kids of all ages & abilities. Great practice facility also with everything you need to fine tune your skills!

A very nice public golf course, one of the best in Idaho. The course runs along the Boise River which makes for a beautiful setting. Always in great shape with mature trees, well kept fairways and challenging, multi tier greens make for a great day on a golf course. One of my favorites.

One of the nicest, if not the nicest public golf course in Boise. It’s not easy, but it’s got a little of everything to keep it interesting. It’s relatively flat so you can walk it or they have both push and power carts for rent. The clubhouse has a nice pro shop and restaurant/bar. Be sure to call ahead as this is a very popular wedding venue and the restaurant/bar closes early often to cater those events. There is a nice flat driving range with ball machine so it’s available during just about all daylight hours.

This is a very nice course but not for the beginner. There is trouble to be found on almost every drive. And it was actually a bit of an issue discovery where to turn to get to the clubhouse from the road...but that's my failure to wed myself to the GPS.

Fairways are in better shape than any course in this area. Nice layout. The only negative is the bunkers--I know I'm not suppose to be there but they are not raked or in the same shape they course is. Will be back again

Fantastic Golf Course. It's one to take visitors to play at as it offers a challenge topped only by how nice the course it taken care of. Also FANTASTIC practice facility. My dad drives out of his way to practice here and I can see why. Great practice bunker, plenty of parking, tons of room so no battling for a spot to squeeze into. I first played this course some 15 years ago and to this day, I look forward to visiting. As for a Wedding venue, the set up is a little awkward, but it works! The staff is amazing. As a Wedding DJ, I look forward to each wedding I get to DJ here as the staff, chef, and venue are nothing but great.

BanBury was a great course. The greens were kept up real well. The higher greens fees keep the riff raff away. You know, the ones that dont fix their ball marks or replace their divots. The green were not to fast but the pin placement made every put a challenge. I'll wait to play there again till my handicap is under 20, otherwise I'll lose more balls.

I like the staff there and the driving range I use on a weekly basis. The Green fees are over priced. Over $30 for 9 holes (walking). That's their "winter rate." Carts are another $9.5 for 9 holes. The course isn't good enough to charge that. They are usually known for how smooth their greens are. Not this year, greens are worse and their prices are higher.

I am a frequent visitor to the restaurant/bar at Banbury golf course. I personally do not play golf but at the restaurant the food is good and the atmosphere is great. The customer service is second to none I would totally recommend Baneberry golf course and restaurant to anyone.
