What a facility! If you are looking for one very memorable place to play golf, do not miss this one.... the staff could not have been more accommodating and the course is magnificent! Well done Purcell Farms.

Very mixed emotions. Great golf course. And some decent customer service as they comped me on rental clubs given mine were delayed my Air Canada. But at $225 usd, they have some room to play on pricing. The disappointing part was one of my playing partners getting charged $15 a shot for titos vodka. And the cart staff gave no warning that this was going to be a $30 double. I would suggest improvement could be made on that fact. Price wherever you want, but let people know if pricing is significantly high.

Simply amazing. Wow. I visited Pursell Farms today for the first time and was blown away. From the moment you drive onto the grounds and are admitted through the gates by a security guard (he confirms you have a t-time), you're presented with beautiful tree lined roads that lead you to the clubhouse. I arrived in the morning around 9:15am so the mowers were still out doing their work. What a fun setting. The clubhouse was elegant and had a small locker room area with a shower. As you approach your first hole, they have complimentary cold waters available in styrofoam cups and cold green apples in a barrel. Range balls are included with your rates and the range has multiple flags to Target as well as some chipping nets. The course was stunning and the carts had a touch pad tablet that tells you how far you are from the hole as you drive. Amazing experience. If you're visiting Birmingham and looking for a place to have a great golfing experience, you definitely need to check out FarmLinks.

One of the nicest courses that I played here in the Birmingham area. Even though it's a little drive to get there from Birmingham, it's well worth it. The greens were phenomenal. As well as the fairways and everything about the course. It's a must play....!

June 18 2022, my son brought me here for a Saturday afternoon off golf for father's Day, best Father's Day ever. It's a beautiful place, best golf eastablishment I've ever been to and I've been to a lot of them. The staff there are great and everything is first class. Going back real soon. If you love golf and a great senic view you got to visit this place, it's a must. Thanks to the staff.

Not worth $200 to play. Dry sod patches on multiple holes around the green. Worth more about $70 a round. No better than Timberline or Ballantrae. GPS carts are cool but not $200 a round cool. If this course is considered the best in Alabama then it gives Alabama a bad golf representation.

Absolutely fantastic. It was the best golf course for any skill level in 2004. In 2019, it has only improved with age. It rained hard the day before, I was shocked to find out it was 90°rule except on par3's, and not cart path only. This whole place was DRY, save a few spots around the chipping green. The track is just unbeatable, truly a golf course with 18 great finishing holes. They had American flags in the holes for the fourth of July weekend, so there were stands to lay the flag on so it wasn't on the ground. But honestly, laying an American flag on a surface this well maintained and cared for wouldn't be a disrespect in the slightest.

Absolutely perfect! Golf course is the best in the US. ATV ride is a must! Horseback riding, swimming,, bicycling... So much to do and a huge place to do it. Well done Pursell family!

Wide open fairways on most holes; easily 40-60 yards wide. Very slow play on Saturday (5 hour round). Played again Sunday, much better pace (3:40)

Incredible. Everything about this place is like a dream. The Inn is beautifully decorated and the rooms are well proportioned. The 2 restaurants, The Arrington & Old Tom's Pub, offer unique and totally independent experiences; plus, the food is incredible. The golf course is a thing of beauty with not a blade of grass out of place. It's a challenging course but it won't run off novices like me. Make sure that you make time to do the ATV excursion as well. Incredible views, incredible guide, and a great time. We didn't do the Orvis Shooting Range and it was regrettable as soon as we saw the shooting field. I will definitely be back to try it out next time!!!

Great golf course and great day. Would give higher rating but the greens were air rated and one hole was closed and were not told ahead of time. I have played many times in those conditions, but the ball went everywhere on this course. Should have been told and would have visited on another trip in area.

The Resort was awesome! Great food and friendly staff. Lodging was fantastic. Golf course was wet from recent hard rains but it was a challenging layout. Would love to play it again. Also, shooting clay pigeons was the best. Also would like to try it again. Would definitely recommend this resort to my friends.

We visit this course each year with some friends for great golf and adventures! The course is always pristine and one of the most well manicured landscapes you'll ever play. The wide-open fairways and massive greens make scoring routine, which lends itself to fun competition. Stop debating where to go and book a tee time here!! You wont regret it.

Gorgeous course. Excellent condition. It's fairways we're a joy to play from. Greens fast and true. Pricey, but worth a try. Pictured is the 5th hole, arguably the signature, but there are several more candidates for that honor.

The accommodations were great, from the very comfortable mattress and pillows (slept better than at home) to the large walk in shower. The staff was extremely friendly and engaging i.e. Marie and Brittany at the front desk along with Cheyenne on the golf course which was one of the best I've ever played with breathtaking views.

I will not take out my terrible round on the longhorns down at farmlinks although those cows judged me every chance they got. It was extremely challenging to ride the cows with my golf bag in tow. Golf carts would be much more efficient than longhorns. Seriously a class act at every turn. Very challenging course as all the greens are different. Nice staff with lots of hellos. Very reasonable price for the q quality of course.

Very nice and amazing place (Confidential Executive Transport and Protection) I'm an extremely private chauffeur and protection specialist that frequently drives privately for many people and others that come here quite often and enjoy themselves in a family environment and it's a really great place here

Went to Tom's Pub for a birthday dinner with our 10 y/o granddaughter, family, and her friends. The staff was excellent, the food was wonderful, and the price was amazing. Highly recommend Pursell Farms for anyone. Has golf, spa, sporting range, hotel, and UTV tours. Awesome place

Wonderful people starting with the gate person and especially the staff at the club house. It is a beautiful course but I was disappointed the course layout and yardage booklet cost $15.99. A similar booklet has always been a free courtesy at all the courses that had them for their first.

The facilities they have are first class. We stayed in the cabins for an event and ate multiple times at the restaurant. The food is really good and so is the service at the restaurant. Where this place misses the 5 star mark is overall customer service at the corporate level. They didn't answer the phones and seem to lack experience and training when it comes to check in and greeting. Telling me the room is "down the hill" and then acting flustered when paperwork was missing, blaming it on the person who was working before they got there is not something I would expect at a place this nice. When the staff mirrors the facilities it will be an elite venue.

Farmlinks is an awesome golf course! I have played here several times and it is always in great shape. The course is pretty open which is nice if you struggle off the tee but is still challenging. I also loved the fact that they had free apples and watermelon on course.

Outdoor cooking with Sea Island cookware was entertaining. The food was plentiful with a large variety of dishes. Great appetizers and we enjoyed the Good People's beer. Plan to be there several hours.
