This well-kept, wide-open course with large greens is unique. The layout consists of three separate 9-hole tracks, the second of which has a small graveyard on it. Number Four on The Brook course is a 603-yard Par 5. The course itself is flat and wide open with little tree cover. The fairways and greens are lush, and the greens are fairly slick. I love the greens here. Bent Brook is also a great place to practice. The reason for four stars is that play can get a little jammed up at times so be prepared for a long round. Other than that, a great course and facility.

Services are always great. All staffs are friendly. There are 3 nine hole courses, Graveyard, Brook, and Windmill. Unfortunately, Windmill is still close. The courses are flat and easy to walk if you choose to. They are wide open. However, some holes are challenging. For example, par 4, dogleg right with water in front of green or par 3 with water on the right and bunkers on the left and in the back of the green. Green is not too firm. Speed of the green always posts inside the golf shop and at the starter hut. One minor flaw is no restroom on the Brook. Overall experience here is awesome.!!

It's nice and flat. Greens are always in great shape. Greens are really not a challenge they're all flat and pretty easy and forgiving.

I'd give it 5 stars, but man was the pace slow today...4hrs, 45 min for 18 holes and it was not on account of my group. But beautifully, wide open course.

First time visitor to course and had an awesome time playing here today 4/25/21. Greens and fairways in great shape. Staff was great and very friendly can't wait to get back down here.

Probably the nicest course in the price range, love the greens, fairways are like carpet, and there are very few gnats compared to other courses. The driving range is the downside, it's all sand, they need to let people hit off mats for a while to let it grow, because it's a joke for it to all be sand. Overall it's a fun course to play, wide open, feels like an EU course.

This course is the best kept secret in central Alabama. Every hole is fair. There is no reason to try and improve your balls' position. No matter where you hit the golf ball, it will be a good to play the ball " down". Greens , tees, and fairways are tops thanks to wonderful team of greens keepers. The staff in clubhouse and cabana are always there with a smile( I think). Not sure with the masks. I have been going to course since Dave Smith was the Director back in the beginning. Nothing has changed. Still the best place to play a round of golf. Everyone and everything is top notch!

Billed as the Premier public golf course in Alabama, this course features three 9-hole challenges that are varied and fun to play. Affordable, easy to get to and with a killer clubhouse/restaurant area. Located along interstate 459, it teases with a panoramic view of about three holes as you drive-by. Check it out if you’re looking for a fun golf experience and don’t be surprised if the greens are the nicest you’ve ever putted on.

Very nice and well kept greens. Staff at the grill were very friendly and outgoing. Seem to do a good job rotating golf parties in so there isn’t much waiting for the people in front of you. Price is too high for me considering some of the competition (67 dollars for 18 holes).

I love playing at Bent Brook. The courses are always in great condition and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Like being a member of a private club but without the huge cost. Plus having 27 holes keeps golf interesting and exciting.

Each of the relatively compact nine-hole loops - the Brook, Graveyard and Windmill - starts and finishes at the clubhouse, with the Brook and Graveyard arguably the best combination. A pleasant course for golfers of all levels, always well presented and with many fine features, not least the usually excellent greens.

Wide open affordable course with a friendly staff. Instructors available for lessons. It even has regular drop-in groups that welcome new players. If you haven't played this pretty 27 hole course, you should.

While the course layout and upkeep are ok, in general I am not a fan of this place. The staff have been consistently unfriendly whenever I have played here or called with a question and always seemed bothered to have to help. Their website is also pretty poor and doesn’t reflect current rates and I don’t care for the clubhouse food either. I give the course(s) 4 stars but everything else gets 2 stars. If you live on that side of town and can’t find somewhere else to play then it will do.

ABSOLUTELY the BEST public, 27-hole golf course in ALABAMA! The course is VERY WELL maintained! Would recommend to EVERYONE within 100 miles! Definitely worth the trip and time.

Great course for the money. Well kept and offers a challenging play. They have taken out a lot of trees recently which opened up the course, but the course is still a good challenge. Would highly recommend you play here.

Amazing greens. This gold course has the smoothest, fastest greens I've ever played on. GPS Golf carts are a must for every course, and bent brook has them.

Attended association event & first time playing there. It won't be my last. Great to see a Golf Course cater properly to it's customers. Very adequate ProShop, Good Bar & Grill. The Course...the reason for being there a True Diamond in the Rough. Too few Public Golf opportunities around the Ham that offers a fun golfing experience and large enough to not feel crowded. Will be Back.
