I had not played Forest Park in over 10 yrs and I was pleasantly surprised by the the changes to the course. The greens could've been cut and rolled to improve the pace but this does not take away from the overall experience which was excellent. More importantly the pro shop and food services was fantastic for our group of 16 golfers. Member of the Tri-State Hackers.

Good layout. Not yet in mid-season shape. 3 200-yd par 3s a real challenge. UPDATE @ 10-15-2022, some greens are actively being repaired in time for fall season. Course still soggy from this week's rain. Recently planted trees and fescue are coming in nicely

Another gem of the Baltimore City classic 5. Between here and Clifton Park, you won’t find better golf in the area for such a low price. The course is not very long and has some simple holes, but plenty of challenging golf including 3 190+ yard Par 3s. The back 9 requires a lot of accuracy, and the greens are true if not a little slow. The staff is friendly, pace of play is almost never an issue, and the clubhouse even has good food! A relaxing place you want to keep coming back to, and did I mention, the pricing is great!

This is a absolutely must play golf course and absolutely must meet and greet Staff.. Mr Sam Bryant, Marvin Ford and Andrew Jackson are the perfect antidote , for all don't get at other golf courses.. My grp of (19) golfers played here for the 1st tm and couldn't believe , the personality Forest Park had to offer.. Yes it's a muni, yes it's very economical but man, the experience will result in a stellar review like this.. TU Forest Park, see you again soon ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have played here a few times over the last couple years. Course conditions are not great this time of year, but it's playable and the whole place was abuzz with groundskeeping personnel and vehicles making improvements. Some of the cart paths are being repaved which is needed. The staff were friendly and helpful above and beyond today and that is greatly appreciated. I was treated more like a club member than a muni guest!

Very Nice Course. The event space was very Nice for a intimate gathering. The Bar staff and Cateror was awesome. The Event planner from Avision from Shaye and her team was Super Accommodating. The Colabortion was Flawless. Will be using both for my next event.

The course is in great shape since the greens were aerated. I just wish they'd do something about the cart paths! It would also be great if they'd PAINT THE LINES ON THE PARKING LOT!! UPDATE (June 2022) - Many cart paths have been repaved and the lines on the parking lot have been repainted!! They musta heard me. Thanks FP.

Pretty nice course, there was some pretty severe damage to some of the fairways and greens maybe just the time of the year when I was there (late September). They take pace of play serious, which is refreshing. Overall a nice city course.

Really enjoy trips to Forest Park. Friendly staff, organized, you always get a round in 4 hours. Big: I frequently fill out myfoursome with nice folks. terrific 1930's design with a couple very ordinary holes, but a majority of challenging, vexing, but fair golf holes worthy of a fun day. in decent shape, except for the bumpy cart paths.

This was my first time playing this courseor any of the other Baltimore City coursesand I was pleasantly surprised. The back nine was better groomed and more interesting than the front nine, but the course was in fine shape overall. The greens generally ran true and not too fast. The closing hole was quite nicely sculptured and at the base of hill, framing the vintage club house. It cost me $16 to walk 18 holes (senior rate) on a weekday afternoon & I ended up playing with two locals who knew the course well and could not have been more helpful or friendly. Overall, it was a lovely early winter afternoon well spent.

I liked the course, less challenging, decently priced. Cart path definitely needs upgrade, watch out if you have back ache. Pro shop was friendly. Driving range is only 150yards

I was in town on a business trip, looking to play a round at a nearby course over the weekend, and decided to try this course. The staff and the members were extremely friendly and hospitable. Although it was a very cold and rainy day, the fairways were in good shape and the greens were surprisingly fast, firm and in good shape as well. The course itself is pretty straightforward, but there are also interesting and challenging holes. Definitely a good experience, especially for the price. If I lived here, I would be a regular.

Nice city course with some challenging holes. Clubhouse has decent snacks and a full bar (for the most part). Pro shop is well stocked for a classic five course. Can get some great twilight deals w the players card if you want to play 9 after work. Can get JAMMED UP at the starter on weekends but what course doesn’t sometimes?

Extremely welcoming and friendly , actually felt like it was a home course ...halfway house meals were quick and the perfect combination of quantity and quality , will definitely recommend...

IMO, the rough is too long for a course that doesn't have a driving range to warm-up on. You will lose a ball between fairway and cart path. This isn't a good course to learn to play golf, as it is very unforgiving. Price is fair though
