I had a fun time playing golf then. This course was really good. Everything was perfect to me except my score. Haha Anyway If there is somebody thinking about which golf course is good to play, I would recommend here!

Played browns mill today for the first time and I was very impressed. Course is in great shape, staff are so friendly and accommodating. I showed up at 5 pm with no tee time and they got me on the course right away at the best price I’ve paid for 18 anywhere in atlanta. Best course in the city.

Nice course with a few rough edges, many attributed to the city COVID precautions. The course itself is very good and fun to play with a variety of holes. Greens and tee boxes are great. Cart paths on the other hand are very rough to the point of needing an off road golf cart. Support facilities are all shut down. No pro shop, refreshments or bathroom (except on the 4 hole) or walk ups. You can get practice balls for the driving range. At your tee time you pick up a cart and go. Price at around $40 is good

I have probably 200-250 rounds at Browns Mill over the past decade. The course is in the best shape it's ever been in over that time period. The city finally put some money into the course in the last couple of months - all new cart paths, actual range balls (and an open range), new sand in all of the bunkers, significant amounts of re-sodding and tee box levelling (17 especially), and new bathroom facilities on 4/5. However, it looks like some of the re-sodding didn't take because they just laid the sod on top of existing grass/didn't roll it/etc. They desperately need a few more carts as they are constantly low, and still no concessions/clubhouse needs work. But it's great to see some progress. Still by far the best public layout ITP.

Fun place to play and conditions are really improving ! Wide open fairways and very nice champion Bermuda grass greens. A good mix of slope, water and length. Great play for the price .

Nice course, some good challenges, but very rough cart paths. The non-electric golf carts are also a bit rough to ride and breathe around, but the grounds are in great shape overall.

Unfortunately no one works here. Driving range is closed. Pro shop and clubhouse is closed. Our tee time was at 3:18 and we did not even get a cart until 3:35. The course is decent, but it took us 4.5 hours to play the course and that was with skipping a hole and playing around a group of very slow women.

Drove here for the 1st time,very accommodating staff, for a municipal course I could not have expected more. In great shape, fun, not overly difficult but difficult enough. A diamond in the rough!

Not a high end course, kinda ghetto. The grounds are mediocre at best and it cost me $41 to play 18 holes on a Monday morning...a bit expensive for me. Oh and don't mind the gunshots if your hear any, it's in the hood. Lol

The course is 10 minutes from Atlanta International Airport and we played here on the morning before flying home. The greens were terrific and the layout was very good. It was very pleasant surprise. We hired a buggy but the course is easily walkable. If this was my home course I would be well chuffed. Our handicaps are 3 and 13.

Definitely not the best area in the city, but overall the course is an excellent value. Fairways were mostly pretty wide open with a few sand traps here and there. Great course for all skill levels and greens were in pretty good shape (not very fast, but rolled true).

Course is in good shape and will continue to green up as the temperatures rise. Recent rains has left it soggy in places but bearable. Plays longer than the yardage or maybe I am just getting old.

This is a public course but it's in pretty darn good condition and the greens are all was Tip Top. Winter grass is thin but come March it'll be green again!

Very well kept golf course. We played a day after we had some serious rain, and the course drained well enough we were not restricted to the cart paths. Very open layout; wide fairways, and the course was forgiving if you hit an errant tee shot. However, because of this there's always a chance of a ball from another hole finding its way near you. The course is not in a good part of town at all, lock your cars and be weary of holes 15 and 16. But from the course's condition and playability, it was a very nice, well-kept municipal course.

Excellent condition on course. Affordable. Green at best condition ever I have seen for the years. Smooth and fast. You may bring sandwich and drinks in cooler. Not much to buy at the clubhouse.

I don't know about now 2018 but when I worked there back in August 2012 course was in excellent shape all 118 acres. I was a cart attentant when i use to work then. The Marshalls & the Employees were super friendly. The Golfers who played there then talked about how well they liked the course. I miss working there too. I lived on McWillams St & hole 3 was behind my House. Very close to work. Enough of memory lane now.

Best value in ATL. Course is usually in pretty good shape. They only complaint I have is with the staff. The young man (maybe 18-25 yrs old) who often works during the week is not very pleasant to deal with. He often seems annoyed by the fact that he has to help customers, no matter the request. On the other hand, the ladies that work there are usually friendly. Good experience overall, but the staff keeps it from being excellent.

The course was well maintained, however I I thought the greens were too quick for the whole locations. I missed a birdie putt and it actually roll back down the hill into the hole for par.
