This course is challenging but playable for the average golfer. Like most older courses, many holes have trees to contend with if you don't hit it straight. Greens were in great shape with lots of slope and very fast. Three of the par threes are 180-210 yards from the white tees so don't expect too many birdies unless you're a good golfer. Ronnie, the owner, is a super nice guy and is doing a fantastic job to keep this course in good shape. Highly recommend playing here if you visit or live in Albuquerque.

We had our wedding at PHGC this October. It was perfect. The event coordinator, Lauren, was amazing. She was on top of everything, all that we asked of her and made sure our day was special. All of the staff working were friendly. The event space itself was perfect as we had our ceremony outside on the green and the reception inside. They allowed us to access the venue early in the morning the day of our wedding to put the final touches as they already had everything set up. Lauren took us around the course to take pictures everywhere we wanted. Affordable, food was delicious and staff were professional. Highly recommend Lauren and PHGC for any event!

Wonderful course on the westside of Albuquerque. New owner has done a phenomenal job with this property, from real sand in all bunkers,xeriscaping nonplaying areas and bringing the greens back to top notch conditions. Course is in the best shape I've seen in years! A must play in the ABQ Metro. The renovated clubhouse/restaurant is amazing, huge new bar with lots of TVs and counter height table to relax and enjoy the perfect meal and cold one after a round! Place has a cool,modern sports pub vibe with great staff! I know folks who dont even play golf that come here just for drinks and dinner. A great addition to the neighborhood! Well done!!!!

if you like playing golf this is the golf course you want to go to. Paradise hills golf course country club is a very nice. The pro shop is a very nice shop to buy your golf clubs and golf balls and shirts, hats the office bar and grill is a very nice place to get a beer or cocktails and food. The waitresses are very attentive to their customers. They also have security at this restaurant and bar. The restrooms are very clean. This was the best looking golf clubhouse I ever seen. I played golf I would definitely go to this golf course. But I will go back to the office bar and grill again for lunch or dinner or even some cocktails or beer

I love that this course has been constantly working to provide a better experience. The course keeps getting in better shape and the clubhouse and bar areas are awesome after the remodel. I'd recommend playing here and stopping in for happy hour as well!

The newly remodeled office bar and grill is great. So much seating and super kid friendly. The new menu is delicious and as always the staff is accommodating and nice. We live right near and love their live music on Friday so with the new remodel and loads of endearing - we will be enjoying a lot more evenings at the golf Course

I mainly just go here to practice since it is in such a convenient place. The staff are helpful and friendly. The place is never empty which tells you it's a great space. My only complaint is that the driving range could use some more regular upkeep.

It's now called Paradise Hills. A new owner has made it probably the best fun place on a weekend evening in the whole town. I'm guessing they were between 300 and 400 people there last night. Quick service, polite staff, live music and a beautiful setting made for a great evening.

Desert Greens reverted back to Paradice Hills about four years ago. It's a beautiful golf course however. I'm now taking lessons from the staff. I love the lessons. And of course, there's always Taco Tuesday.

This is a fun course, well maintained, with some challenges on some holes, yet easy to navigate. They have a great practice area as well as chipping and putting areas. Make tee times early. Great bar with good food at the turn or when you finish 18.

We booked our reception here for a June wedding back in December. Our wedding was this last weekend and we had an amazing time. Angela and her staff were friendly and professional. There was a mix up during wedding coordinator turnover in April but they honored all of the agreements and bookings on our deposit receipts and she was flexible with us when it came to early decorating. We really enjoyed our special day and this venue was beautiful and well maintained with an affordable price tag.

Well kept golf course tucked away surrounded by neighborhoods. The staff is friendly and helpful. The course is fun and not too unreasonably challenging. The price is a little steep, but the bar, drinks, and course are very nice. I frequent different courses in town, but this place is definitely in my rotation.

We really love this place! Lots of regulars that are a blast to hang out with. Really good food at great prices. Nice beer selection and full bar as well. Patio has a great view of the golf course. They also have a full area for weddings and other large functions. You should try this hidden gem!

Overall, I like all aspects of the Paradise Hills Golf Course. The food is delicious, the beer is cold, the course is fun, and the driving range is ok. The one bad thing is their waitresses. Not too friendly or welcoming. With that said, I still enjoy myself and plan on revisiting.

While on the course this morning we had the worse golfing experience either one of us has ever had. My wife and I are new to the sport so we play as fast as we can but we don't hit 250+ on every stroke. Your marshal stalked us for the entire first 4 holes. One the first hole, not more than 10 minutes into our round, we were told "i don't care how you hit but you need to hit faster". He drove right next to us for the first hole and watched us for the next three. I am not sure how you think that this is an acceptable to treat your guest. We paid to be able to enjoy our Sunday morning at your course not to be treated rudely and talked down too by your staff. We have both enjoyed your course in the past but after today I am fairly confident that we will not be coming back. I will also do my best to enthusiastically discourage every person that I know who golfs to seek another venue.

Course is pretty nice, but some work needs to be done on making it a better experience. The sand traps are like concrete. Needs refill or turn over periodically. Lounge is cool, staff provides fun conversation, and good service.

New Staff in the Pro Shop, restaurant, bar, and beverage is very evident. Exceptional customer service. New golf pro is very approachable, down to earth, humble, and experienced. Same goes for the superintendent. As for Bo's comments, "deplorable" is a little harsh, but I would have to agree to an extent on what he said. Desert Greens has been known for how good their greens are. Unfortunatley last yr there was an accident and the greens where burned. A few greens had some very noticable damage. The good news is, within the last 8 months the greens are returning back to there old form. If anyone played a round during the burned greens period, I would strongly suggest they give desert greens another chance. I figured it would take 3 years to return the greens to true form, but after my recent round I can tell they're not far from being back to what I always remembered them being...Excellent! Also the driving range has been xeriscaped, distance flags are surrounded by grass.

Played here on a trip to Albuquerque. Course is in good shape and the price was very reasonable. Very long PAR 5 on hole 17. Be sure to wear a collared shirt, I wasn't prepared and had to purchase one at the pro shop. Will play again on my next trip. Only draw back is you can't actually play till 8:30 a.m

This is a great affordable golf course with banquet rooms and a nice bar. The owners (or management) are doing a great job adding entertainment to their offerings. They recently started a Salsa night that makes great use of the wood floor and easy access patio. Just spent the day today their on a team retreat and the staff was great and very accommodating. We enjoyed our lunch and capped off the day with a few buckets of balls at the driving range. Fantastic day!

It is a muni, parkland style course. Not too difficult or too long. Rates are a little pricey, but not too bad. The remodel of the bar & grill, now called The Office, is great and was much needed.

Great people that work here and it is very organized. I gave it a 4 instead of a 3 because they do have a driving range. The condition of the course is pretty good in the fairway, greens are good but anything in the rough is pretty bad. I get that it's called the rough for a reason but several shots that are less than 10 yards off the fairway are pretty unplayable. Great dining area and they have built out an even larger dining patio area.

Ate lunch at The Office. The tables were about ten or more feet apart and the waitresses wore masks. I had the fish and Chips and the serving was huge. Also had a cup of their green chili stew and it was wonderful. Spicy, but not burning hot. I will go back.

The clientele! What an amazing place to sample all that is the best of Albuquerque (sarcasm). You owe it to yourself to saddle up to the bar or get a drink on the patio. The people watching is spectacular and the best part is that so few actually go there to play golf... on a serious note, the service was very good, the condition of the course was just OK.

We love this course and have company golf outings very often here. The food is great, bar is beautiful and the service is consistently good. The driving range took a bit of a nosedive (the mats are hideous and some are nonfunctional because they don’t have tees attached). Also the younger staff in the pro shop could be a little less rambunctious and not scream over the loud speaker. Saw an elderly golfer get embarrassed when he was yelled at for hitting a foot in front of the practice mats. Not a classy move. Nonetheless, still a great course.

5 star because of service and value. New management redid the bar and put money back into maintenance. Fairways are still coming back in some spots, but the greens are awesome! They roll fast and true, with a few that are highly affected by the slope and grain. The layout always upsets me/ has my number, as there's more than a couple tree lined doglegs, that require long and accurate tee shots, into tight uphill greens! It's a real shot makers course.

The Office Bar and Grill is a good place to hang with friends. Nice beer selection and a great atmosphere. The service was excellent. A lot of TV's with a variety of sports. They even switched one so I could watch a soccer match. The food was also very good. I ordered the fish and chips, my friend had the turkey sandwich, which was a good size for a sandwich. Overall an amazing experience. I would highly recommend. We will be back for sure.

The bar is top notch, but the course is a different story. They don't take care of their fairways let alone the rough. Every hole is almost garuntee'd to have multiple big dirt patches that have not been fixed since I played in highschool. The greens are okay, but no one fixes their divots. Peronally in my opinion Ladera and Arroyo are in much better conditions and much cheaper to play at. I'd rather drive to twin warrior for the price, also their twilight hours start at 2pm and not 3pm! Twin is also in very great shape. If paradise ever reads this they know they need to start working harder on their course conditions because it is not fair right now for the price they are charging. Kinda ridiculous.

The event space is newly renovated and beautiful. We just held our baby shower in the Overlook Room and it was fantastic. Our guest were very happy with the food and ambiance. The room had a nice patio with amazing views of golf course and the Sandia Mountains. Ayla (event coordinator) was very accommodating and great to work with. She will make your party a memorable event. We highly recommend this place for any special event. Thank you!

Reasonable prices. Call way in advance if you want to play on the weekend. Robbie is the pro to talk to if you want a lesson. Fraiser is the best at getting me paired up with another solo player to hit 18 holes. The food is good and the servers are super nice. I eat lunch here all the time and they have never gotten my order wrong even during lunch rush. Caesar salad and the 3 taco plate are awesome. Driving range is spacious and at $8.00 for a large bucket, I can practice all I want and not break the bank.
