UNM retirees play free! That's the icing on the cake for this fun course with challenging holes and friendly staff. Dog walkers use the space once golfers are done, making it a rich neighborhood resource.

Awesome hidden gem in the heart of Albuquerque. Well manicured greens and fairways, bunkers are nice and the mature trees add a nice historic feel.

I love golfing on this course! They always keep it in great shape and is by far the best nine hole course in town. I feel like I can get a tee time almost any day of the week as well. I play here regularly two to three times a week and if you are looking to get a quick nine in it is probably the best place to do so in Albuquerque.

Beautiful course. Fairways and greens are well taken care of. I would rate the course difficulty as moderate. Chose to give 4 stars rather than 5 due to the 3 hours it took to finish 9 holes. Also, they have a shortage of golf carts. We were rushed out of ours as we drove off the 9 for someone waiting for a cart of their own. I plan to walk next time, LOL.

The course is in great shape. There are no carts available to be rented. You have to walk and or use a pull cart, which is no big deal. However, the starter that I dealt with was not very cordial. We started (twosome) at 4:10 pm and we were not advised as to what time they closed. My partner couldn't play any more after 9 holes. It's a nine hole course. I decided to to play a few more holes by myself. While I was about to tee off, which was about 6:15 pm for the second round, I heard the the starter announce something (undiscernable) over the loud speaker. I knew it was directed at me, so I went over to him to ask what he had said. He indignantly informed me that I was trespassing since they were closed. I informed him I knew what trespassing was (I am a retired police officer). I was not advised at the start that they closed at certain time. There are no signs that I observed that indicated that they close at a certain time. The starter needs to be educated as to what criminal trespass is and he needs training in proper customer service. The course or the starter needs to inform golfers that they cannot start another round after 6:00 pm or at whatever time they close. I can assure you that no individual can be criminally trespassed under these circumstances.

Nice golf course and green space. Despite what others have said, it is not a dog park. Additionally, many who do bring dogs here allow them to run off leash, creating a dangerous situation for others

Played UNM North 9 this morning, it's in absolutely tour quality shape! The best I have ever seen it! Looking for a nice walk chasing the white ball around North is a must play!

Great gem of a nine whole course. Originally the UNM championship 18 hole course, this Hill top beauty still has plenty of charm and challenge. Trees, hills, smaller greens make for a great test.

I like the course and the staff is always friendly. The only drawback is that there is NO practice area. Yes you can chip and putt but no where can you take any full shots.

Really finely maintained track. Greens roll true and recent renovation pruned low hanging branches. A most enjoyable mid city track with great rates and conscientious and courteous staff.

nice 9 hole course. it is challenging. the 9th hole par 5 is the hardest hole. rates are reasonable. it is a nice course to play late summer Aug, Sep and into Fall Oct

This is a fantastic course and would be even better with a disc golf course built through and around it I would pay a yearly membership and a per round fee with the ability to rent a car every single time. I would also support the clubhouse by buying plastic and my drinks and snacks.

Really good convenient course to get a quick 9 holes in . The putting green and chipping areas are perfect for practice and to kill some time during the day .

It's a reasonably well-kept course, only one short par 4, challenging, and very scenic. Lots of trees, no water, very pleasant.

It's great if you don't play golf. If you are a dog owner it's a fantastic dog park around sunset. The sunset views are worth it.
