I just love this place. The shop owner shop owner beautiful Deb just reminded me that we have been friends for 3 years. Who would have thought one day my grandma says let's go over to this flower shop and check it out that mysteriously it would bring about a beautiful friendship. I love Deb and her daughter Audrey. Not only do they have amazing souls but they have the most beautiful flowers that you can find in my opinion in the wedgewood neighborhood and you know what I can probably safely challenge that and say surrounding neighborhoods. I'm really excited and proud for them especially because they just opened up a bigger location next door. You don't know how much joy it makes me feel to see them go from there to where they are now. What flower shop can you go to get some advice or just event and cried out and then when you leave you feel so much better. My apologies that I'm always coming in needing therapy or counseling but I appreciate yall "talking me off the ledge" every time. So I said all this to say…. if you're in the wedgewood area and you want to be pleased with every single flower selection you leave out of there with definitely go see the fabulous fabulous ladies at Blue Poppy Floral 💙

Incredible customer service, and BEAUTIFUL floral arrangement. I called about 24 hours in advance which was no problem for them, and they created a beautiful and very custom arrangement for a friend. They asked what her hobbies and interests were and made an arrangement that was reflective of those hobbies! Truly incredible, and such a smooth process. I will be going back to this place as much as I can!

Someone sent me a bouquet from Blue Poppy and it was really one of the loveliest arrangements I have ever received (see photo for evidence). The special touches of the beautiful card choice, the origami paper crane, and the flower choice really made it feel special. I will be returning for my flower needs in the future. What an absolute delight this place is. Diep (Deb) is truly a wonderful person and delight to work with. I called her to tell her my sister in law was having surgery and told her a couple basic things about her and she worked up the most wonderful arrangement. It was not just beautiful but thoughtful in the approach to not be to aromatic (with her recent surgery) and also an easy to care for plant that would last much longer. She also threw in a few healing crystals. Her attention to detail, genuine kindness and passion for what she does has made me a client for life. Call Diep today, she will not disappoint you.

I walked in 10 minutes before closing looking for a bouquet for my mother in law and was greeted by the friendliest staff who whipped me up the most GORGEOUS bouquet! She asked what my MIL liked and effortlessly incorporated her preferences, all with a smile. You can tell the owner truly loves what she does. The shop also has a lovely assortment of soaps, lotions, bath salts, greeting cards, planters, house plants, etc (all locally sourced!). I’m so glad to have found an awesome local florist for all my gift and everyday needs!

This review is far overdue, but basically Blue Poppy is the best in the biz!! I could write a whole pamphlet on how skilled, kind, and just all around wonderful this family is. Deb and Audrey are talented AF. They absolutely killed the arrangements for both my bridal shower, and my wedding party. for the wedding party, they created an unbelievable floral backdrop (it literally looked better than anything I had seen on pinterest). I gave them creative control because I already loved their style, and it was the best decision ever because everything was perfect. It was romantic and playful, but also elegant. The whole fam came to set up which was super sweet, and they put SO much care into everything. Give them your money and watch them create magic. You wont regret it.

Blue Poppy Floral is run by some of the friendliest, kindest people you'll meet. The mother and daughter are very helpful and very knowledgeable about the plants too. My partner and I were also floored by their generosity. The money tree we got was beautiful and we got some great tips from the mother on how to take care of it. Overall, the plants in the store were in great shape and there was a wide variety to choose from. The floral bouquets were also beautiful and will keep them first in my mind for bouquets too. As far as I'm concerned, they are my go-to for floral needs going forward. I can't wait to come back!

The owner is quick to respond, her bouquets are always beautiful, and has great prices. She allowed me to pick up flowers when she was closed on Monday, gave me a free vase to match after mine didn't fit, and packed it for safe travel in the car. Also got to pick a paper crane to top it off. This is my second bouquet from Blue Poppy Floral and now my go-to neighborhood spot for flowers. 😁👍

I gave the challenge to make a bouquet that would remind my wife of her wedding bouquet using the website. Diep is very responsive to messages. She spent the next morning with multiple vendors to find the right flowers. She delivered the arrangement that same day. The photo doesn't do justice. It is beautiful! My wife loves it! I am really glad to have found Blue Poppy Floral. I had a chance to stop by earlier that day. It's a wonderful place!

Deb, the owner of Blue Poppy Floral, came to our rescue today. We have a dear friend whose father is suddenly critically ill, and we wanted to send a special arrangement of flowers to her. Deb stepped up with a beautiful arrangement of a dozen Tiara (David Austin antique premium) roses, cream spray roses, wax flowers, and three types of eucalyptus. She also wrote out the card for us (we phoned in the order). Then she went out herself after closing time and personally delivered the arrangement within 90 minutes of our placing the call! We are grateful beyond words. Thank you, Deb, so much! They were dearly appreciated!

Hidden Gem of a flower shop! Totally awesome flowers and people! We continue to have a great experience at this Wedgewood Flower store that is right across the street from the big Rite-Aid. Family owned, they simply ask you how much you want to spend and what you like and what occasion and then boom, they unleash their creativity and make something magnificent. Everytime I want to buy flowers for neighbors or my wife they come up with beautiful arrangements at an excellent value, too! I absolutely love Blue Poppy Floral. I went in recently looking for some help with making a flower crown for my friend who is starting chemo. I was given very good advice on how to create the crown and I really liked the supply of flowers they offered. The owner was very kind. I definitely would recommend this store for flowers but they also stock a lot of nice little gifts and cool flower pots. I will definitely be returning for buying Christmas gifts.

I called in to ask if they might be able to put together a flower crown for a maternity shoot , very last minute, on a Sunday when there’s not as much selection (Monday is when they get flowers in typically. The lady there was very gracious and accommodating which I very much appreciated. The crown was very elegant and well done, I especially loved the sweet smelling jasmine she included from her own garden. It was exactly the look I was going for...highly recommend this gem of a shop! You will love!

Popped in for an anniversary arrangement. Within a couple minutes the owner had pulled out some flowers I asked for, told me about other things I could do with the filler, like steaming the eucalyptus leaves for aromatherapy, and wrapped up a sweet bouquet for me. Top-tier, personalized service and artistry! You will not find fresher, more beautiful flowers or a better florist anywhere. I was blown away by my experience ordering flowers over the phone for my Aunt in Seattle. Blue Poppy carries local flowers in season, and Deb suggested an elegant, customized bouquet of peonies, orchids and bird of paradise based on that day's delivery and my aunt's personality. Due to her extensive experience working with cancer patients, Deb is extremely knowledgeable about which flowers won't aggravate sensitivities. She really went above and beyond to make my order special, and even texted me a pic of the bouquet and delivered it the same day! Blue Poppy has my business for life, and my aunt's, too!

My husband got me a lovely arrangement for Mother's Day and I am just blown over by its beauty and scent. Typically flowers in a vase are 'nice' and decorative but this bouquet is just AMAZING. I can't recall when roses were this fragrant (they're pale pink, red and one persimmon colored) but the most surprising thing was this heavenly scent which I've discovered is jasmine! The co-mingling of the rose and jasmine scents are soft and uplifting, which is especially needed during this home quarantine period. Also, the origami crane is a nice touch--I've read that it signifies hope and healing. Thank you Blue Poppy Floral for making my days a little brighter.
