We absolutely loved working with Danny for our May wedding. We found out about him through our venue. When I spoke to him, he sounded so enthusiastic that I knew we had found the right florist for us. We wanted to incorporate some DIY decorations into our event design, and this required a lot of phone calls and emails back and forth, but his team knew how to pull off our rather unusual requests. The end result was over-the-top gorgeous. The bouquets and centerpieces were much bigger than I had expected, which was a pleasant surprise! Unfortunately, though we asked the team save the chuppah decorations we made, it seems they got thrown out after disassembling the frame. But that's our only minor caveat and probably not something that would apply to most weddings anyway – otherwise, we were more than happy with everything and got a lot for the price. Our guests complimented the mix of traditional and creative décor, and it's made for beautiful photos. We would definitely recommend Westchester Floral if you're searching in the greater NYC/Hudson region. They realized our specific vision beautifully.

Danny was recommended to us by our venue and he was definitely recommended for a reason! My husband and I liked that he had done florals for other weddings there multiple times in the past, and it is clear he works well with the staff. Our venue had a lot of rules about floral specifications (weights and heights). It was overwhelming because they wanted us to write down all of the spec information, but before I could even panic about it, Danny called the coordinator and discussed everything with her. Besides the communication, Danny's floral arrangements exceeded our expectations by a landslide. It's difficult to envision what all the decor will look like without seeing it laid out, but it was such a lovely surprise to see what we discussed come to life. As a side note of his character: he's hilarious and makes you feel like he's known you forever! THANK YOU DANNY!!! I don't have pictures to add to my review yet, but will update it once the photographers send us the album.

Danny was an absolute pleasure to work with from our very first meeting. We admittedly procrastinated hiring a florist until only two months before our wedding because we were worried we would have to postpone due to the pandemic. To our pleasure, Danny was a true professional never making us feel that we were late to the process and, in fact, he got us very excited about our wedding. In the times of the pandemic, wedding planning looks and feels very different (only meeting most vendors over the phone, no menu or cake testing, etc.) – getting to meet Danny in person, we left feeling complete confidence in Danny and his ability to bring our vision to life, but we also unexpectedly left with a sense of excitement that everything was becoming very real and Danny was on our side! It meant a lot to us during a particularly stressful and uncertain time. On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect. The bouquet and boutonniere were delivered to our hotel while the centerpieces were delivered to the venue, all perfectly on time. Everything was truly breathtaking - whether it was an item we had shown Danny a particular picture of or something we just generally described without a picture, Danny delivered. We were truly speechless at the beauty he created for our wedding and cannot say thank you enough.

Absolutely the best place to get your flowers for your event. The minute we walked in, Danny stated that he wanted to tell our story with the floral decorations, and he went above and beyond to do it right. Our centerpieces were simple but stated so elegantly that people are constantly asking what flowers they were. Our ceremony flowers were beyond gorgeous. They were even able to accommodate my wife and I's request to put our bridal bouquets into lightsaber handles, and they came out amazing!

Working with Danny from Westchester Floral Decorators was the best decision I ever made. After meeting with Danny just one time I knew he was who I wanted to use as my florist. Danny far exceeded my expectations. We had to postpone our wedding a few times and every single time Danny was so sweet and understanding and worked with us to ensure we’d have the date we wanted available. We worked with Danny for our COVID wedding in July of 2020 and our vow renewal/wedding reception in July of 2021. He had come highly recommended from my cousin who had used him for her wedding and our wedding venue. We never bothered to meet with another florist after seeing his amazing work in person. Upon our first meeting, it felt like we were meeting with a family member. He was hilarious and so knowledgable. We had some ideas in mind, and he was able to bring them to life and provide more suggestions! We were able to see so many different types of bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces that we could pull out ideas from each and tailor it to what we liked best. All of our flowers were absolutely gorgeous! Everyone from those days were giving us tons of compliments about the flowers! We can't recommend Danny and his team enough!!

Westchester Floral Decorators surpassed all of my expectations for flowers. I knew I wanted to walk into the ballroom and get my breath taken away, and that is exactly what they did. When I first met with Danny, I told him my budget. From start to finish, he provided us with such an amazing experience and product, all within our budget. The work is elegant and beautiful. My grandfather passed away year ago, and I knew I wanted to incorporate a piece of him into my bouquet. I gave Danny a handkerchief and a charm that he also carried on it. When I received my flowers the morning and saw my bouquet, I immediately started crying, he so beautifully included both pieces in my bouquet. When I walked into the church and reception, I couldn’t believe the beauty of our flowers. Danny told my vision and exceeded all my expectations. He made postponing our wedding and changing dates a breeze. He was always flexible with my needs and wants. I would 100% recommend them!! Their work really is worth every penny!!

I love this place!!!!! I used this place for my wedding which was 4/8/21. Danny has the greatest personality he handled me like a rare gem. We had numerous meetings, phone calls, changing of things, attentiveness, advice, recommendations It's nothing I couldn't ask or call him for anytime. Danny and Angelo are a dynamic duo in assuring one of the critical parts of your wedding goes well. Working with Danny he knew the details of all flowers and worked with our budget to assure we got what we wanted. He made the process easy in choosing our flowers and advising what would work best and look good for a wedding look we would never regret. I am absolutely in love with the flowers at my wedding! After picking my venue, I had a vision of the decor I wanted to fit the venue. Even though I met with several florists, I knew I had to work with Angelo and Danny because they were so passionate about their work and gave me a great quote. They took care of everything…my bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony décor, sweetheart table, and centerpieces. When my guests walked into the venue, their breaths were taken away. The centerpieces I had asked for: tall vases with an arrangement of white flowers (roses, hydrangeas, baby’s breath) were absolutely exquisite with candle votives on the table. Our sweetheart table looked beautiful with candles and flowers. Flowers are a vital part of wedding décor and my husband and I, along with our guests absolutely loved it all. Initially, I'll admit that I wasnt terribly excited to go pick out flowers with my fiancé. The centerpieces at all of the weddings we had recently attended looked the same to us - boring. We are not boring. Of note, we met with another local floral place before going with Westchester. Despite favorable online reviews, they basically tried to push the same boring flowers on us, lacked creativity, and insulted us with limited options given our budget. Not here! Our flowers were vibrant, fresh, popped, and really helped to make our pictures, venue, and wedding in general AMAZING! Working with John throughout was great. He is cool dude who really knows his stuff and did an incredible job helping interpret / bringing our vision to life. Highly, highly recommend.

I just used Westchester Floral for my wedding at the surf club. They were the house florist and Artie the man i worked with actually used to have an office at the surf club. I actually asked a friend to do a consult with me first about the flowers, and while there price was good you could tell their experience was terrible compared to Westchester Floral. As soon as i started to talk about my wedding, Artie got me right away and knew how things would work at the surf club more than others. He actually knew more about the surf club than the other workers. They designed my chuppah perfectly, that the day of my father tried to tell the workers what to do and they came to find me because it was not my view, thank god they did! The flowers were perfect and beautiful! Couldnt have asked for anything better!!

We chose to go with Westchester Floral as it was one of the recommended vendors through our venue. I was happy overall with their service. They do nice work arranging flowers and creating arrangements. However, if I were to chose again, I probably would have gone with a different florist. This is mainly because of the setup of this florist. I worked with Artie, who was very sweet. However, they really don’t have any flowers at the location. I was hoping to go there and give them a general idea of my style and vision, and have them pull out some flowers that fit that style and give me some examples. However, I had to actually ask for any type of pictures of visuals before they showed me even that. I gave them many pictures of exactly what I wanted, and when they set up my centerpiece sample, because the person I worked with was not the same people who created the actual arrangements were not the same, there was a hiccup in communication and the completely wrong centerpiece sample was created. I live an hour away from the florist and drove all the way there for virtually nothing as they had to create another sample appointment for me. They did apologize profusely, but I feel that it would have been appropriate that they comped something for me since it was completely their fault and was a major inconvenience and source of stress for me. Because of the lack of flowers in the place for them to show me (they would just write down ideas and now seeing that without an explicit image for them of what I wanted there was a chance they would create something different that would get lost in communication), the next time I came with very detailed notes and exact pictures of everything I wanted. This led to my flowers being very nice and consistent with my vision, but I do feel that I had to do 99% of the floral planning in order for this to happen. Finally, my groom showed a picture to them of the boutonniere he wanted - a simple rose with 2 shamrocks. They put it down in the notes and never said it could not be done, but apparently it couldn’t because on the day of the wedding they gave him a plain rose with no shamrocks and not even any attempt of anything to look like two shamrocks (I have seen it done with 2 green hydrangea buds as well but they did not even try to do this). All in all, I would say that although Artie was very sweet and they did finally create attractive arrangements, the lack of organized communication there along with the lack of actual flowers there in order to work with clients and show them visuals of their visions leads me to give Westchester Floral Decorations an unfavorable rating.
