I met Cecil years ago before he become this amazing designer. I reached out to him due to a client I had the pleasure of fully planning her dream wedding from top to bottom. From her vision of elegant, and timeless feel...I knew that Cecil and his team hands down would execute the vision we had planned. His professionalism and great personality is one that makes working with him a blast. A Designer who truly knows and honors his role. I would definitely recommend him and I look forward to our next collaboration.

Wellllllllllllll...there are SOOOO many things to say. To celebrate. To be thankful for as it pertains to Cecil Payne and ALLLLLL OF WHAT HE DID FOR ME, US, OUR WEDDING, RECEPTION AND EVERYTHINGGGGG IN BETWEEN!! I get emotional just thinking about how Cecil BROUGHT, and EXECUTED such DEFINITIVE talent, VISION, COMPASSION, SKILL... sheer fortitude to make our wedding and reception exactly as I'd ENVISIONED it all! FIRST: Cecil is a CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONAL. Hands Down👌~ he is highly emotionally intelligent, rational and calm~ so needed for work such as rhis!😌...Upon our first meeting and conversation~ he had a ready smile, an easy disposition, was ATTENTIVE and very GIVING of DETAILS as to what to expect from him and his work flow, cost and he set REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS about how we would communicate and what would be needed moving forward as we entered into our working relationship. There were visuals provided and cost details disclosed every step of the way. And if there was an unexpected situation or hiccup~ Cecil was upfront and honest and always mindful to offer an alternative or even better and most cost effective solution ~ Cecil made me feel as if I were the ONLY bride he was working with~ ALWAYS RESPONSIVE and FULL OF HEART ❤️about my big day. SECOND: The level of professionalism Cecil CONSISTENTLY provided by conveying his knowledge when answering questions, finding just the right touches for my big day as I requested, and his team is bar -none THE BEST IN EVERY WAY: CONSIDERATE, KIND , ENCOURAGING, HIGHKY SKILLED IN PRODUCTION ABD DISPLAY AND PRESENTATION, TIMELY AND FOCUSED! My venue was rather high profile in my city~ and when I arrived the day before the wedding and saw Cecil and his team working in such excellence with state of the art truck and trailers to deliver all parts of my event ~right down to the uniform shirts worn on site while working~I was sooo VERY impressed! This crew is a CLASS ACT!👌! THIRD: The EXECUTION of my vision and the reveal of Cecil's work along with his team blew me away!!!!...Ahh! there is not enough room nor words to speak on HOW AMAZING the result and gorgeous experience it was!! EVERYYYYY DETAILLLLLL was addressed ~ custom scripted name plates, the mostttt gorgeous of lighting, draping, the mist ekegant if candke light, candelabras ~& the velvet that I sooo wanted to incorporate appeared in tasteful portions everywhere!!!!...from the napkins to the table covers ~ it was exquisite!....there was the thought that to have real red roses incorporated in all of the ways I'd requested would not be possible ~per the budget and accessibility....BUTTT! When the room reveal happened ~ Cecil SURPRISED ME!!!.. he'd found a way~and there were RED ROSES... BIGGGGG BEAUTIFUL AND BOUNTIFUL ONES STANDING IN THE MOST GORGEOUS DISPLAYS ON THE DINING TABLES! ROSES EVERYWHERE...OH MY GOODNESS~ The frarance and view was sheer romance❤️...My words here cannot describe or explain the BEAUTY...the SHEER ATTENTION to EVERY DETAIL...sooo much more than I ever imagined. This man knows what he's doing and KNOWS how to work! Whewwww! I am so happy n grateful n thankful all at once! Every time I look back at the captions ~ I realize more and more I was blessed to have met and commissioned Cecil to handle the decorum of our big day...I'm the lucky one for sure. Cecil will be very difficult to book in the near future...more and more the unveiling of who he is and who he connects to bring excellence in THIS arena is being realized by those near and far. I'm so GLAD and PRIVILEGED that God allowed us to meet this great man~~He moves and coincides so effortlessly with everyone...every echelon of person and professional~ His light is BRIGHT, and his FUTURE sooo very promising and explosive...His greatest is yet to come!! Cecil from Designs by GoodOl’C designed the wedding bouquet of my dreams!!! My wedding was at Cheekwood, and I wanted “dreamy, drippy and romantic.” And, Cecil delivered! I had an idea in mind for the floral selections. Cecil made sure that my bouquet included everything I wanted for a wonderful price. He made this part of the planning easy with a professional touch. Cecil P. Of Designs by Good Ol’C and his Crew did an amazing job. Let me break this down for everyone to understand why they should hire this team. A- GOC created an itemized bill, we knew exactly where every penny was going. B- as a first time bride, I was unaware of the logistics of a wedding. GOC explained every item and it’s cost. C- He designed OUR wedding according to what MY HUSBAND AND I requested he even went as far as to add a little razzle dazzle. In other words He designed our wedding for us, to fit our needs and requirements. D- HE AND HIS TEAM arrived promptly to the venue for rehearsal and the day of the wedding. He coordinated every single thing, My job was just to be in awe of how he strategically created our vision. E- throughout the process he remained connected to my husband and I, he let us know every thing he and his team were doing. Good Ol’C designs and events are catered to the individual person/ persons. The creative mind of this team is nothing short of the God breathed talent that has been placed in them. He will forever be my florist and event designer, personally no one can do what he does in my opinion. Thank you GOC and the crew for making our day one that is STILL talked about to this day!
