I got the Desert Surprise arrangement to be delivered at any time and not only was there a quick turnaround for same day delivery but the driver was incredibly sweet! I have to say that the older people who worked there were wonderful. I chose the place because they had so many different colors of carnations. The customer service of these people were incredible. The flowers looked good. I would say the younger people who were doing the arrangements did not seem to want to be there. They seemed much more grumpier. As for price, more than I would usually pay but I got more than I would get at a discount place. I was told they could last up to three weeks and the number of colors were incredible. Did not realize how dark the bouquet was until I tried to take a picture of it,. The arrangement just absorbed all the light.

My grandma died and I couldn't go to her service because I was really sick. I placed an order from out of state, and the bouquet was so gorgeous I had chills when my family sent me pictures. The arrangement I ordered was a small monochromatic violet basket, for my friend's funeral. I specifically said no red or yellow in the Butterfly and Violet basket, which was violet and lavender based. They put in a burgundy color, which threw off the color scheme. She then proceeded to split hairs with me about it, saying burgundy isn't actually red...the bow is poorly tied, basket handle is very crooked. I shouldn't be mortified to see what a florist sends on my family's behalf. Awful. Those were her favorite flowers. And in response to your rude response: I said NO to the burgundy, the bow is awful, and I placed a child's card next to it that you never saw,(as I ordered over the phone), which makes your error ok? I said lavender and white was fine. It was still 12 dollars for delivery, and if next- day delivery for a simple basket two miles away was a problem in any way, you most certainly could have mentioned it. I could have purchased a rose bouquet or basket at Target, and brought it there myself. I saw something cute online, shame on me for trying to order it.

We got the pheasant feather arrangement, I asked if they could throw in a few cattails and they did. One of the most gorgeous arrangements I have ever seen. I was tasked with buying flowers for an employee who had lost a family member. We had chosen a different florist, but they didn't have the flowers for the arrangement we had chosen. I did a quick search and found Schaaf, picked an arrangement and called to see if they could deliver same day. I spoke to a woman named Betty who took my information and later that day the employee reported they had received a lovely arrangement. Schaaf was able to deliver same day with one phone call. I was very happy with their service and would call them again if I needed something in the Minneapolis area.

Schaaf is a wonderful place to go for flowers locally or nation wide. I have been using Schaaf for over 30 years and have always been happy. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. I have sent/received flowers for everything from a new baby to a funeral and everything in between and all the recipients have loved their flowers/plants. This is the only florist I use for my work & personal needs. The bonus is that they will donate to local charities and you have the option of which one you want. I pick the charity based on the reason for the flowers.

I should remember that my Anniversary arrives every year at the same time; but I don't. Fortunately, on (very) short notice, I was able to contact Schaaf Floral with a request for something special for my wife. They did not disappoint. A mid-morning call to the friendly staff prompted an early afternoon delivery and wow, my wife was impressed. I thought (hoped) she was impressed with me, but it was with the beautiful arrangement of roses. Seven days later, she was still enjoying the beauty and aroma of the flowers. It not only smells wonderful the second you walk in, there are all sorts of fun things to look at--in addition to all the wonderful plants and flowers. I once ordered a beautiful center arrangement for the holidays (for a gift for my mother in law)--asking Marcia to just "come up with whatever she thought" and it was spectacular--an arrangement of three square vases with flowers and greenery. The people are friendly and knowledgeable and I would trust them completely for any type of arrangement I needed. Take the time to stop in. Well worth the trip!

They have a wonderful selection of gifts and cards for every season and for every occasion. I've purchased gifts there for everyone from the very young to the young at heart as well. Whenever I've needed centerpieces for our Lions Club dinners or other functions, Marcia always takes the time to help figure out what would be the best for our theme or color scheme. They also have a nice variety of food items for parties and treats (great chocolates!) I met Bud at a networking event and he touted how good Schaaf Floral was. On Feb 13th I found myself in a bind (day before Valentines day) with no plan. I know that the flower business is booming at this time and I was sure that I was too late to get flowers delivered the next morning and I was apparently wrong. I called Schaaf Floral and was greeted warmly, I did not have an idea of what I wanted, so I left that up to the professionals. I was exceptionally surprised when Bud delivered a beautifully arranged bouquet of flowers to my girlfriend's place of work (which is across town from the flower shop). They have talent at this place! We had a last minute order Friday afternoon and needed it delivered Saturday before noon. They got the wreath so close to the picture with very nice flowers. It was the best arrangement there. It got put to the front right when you walk in to the Food Builidng for our celebration of life. My husband sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers of red roses and stargazer lilies for our 2 year anniversary. On day 2 of having the flowers my stargazer lilies were starting to wilt. I went on their website and completed a form telling them what was going on with my lilies. They contacted me via the phone within a half hour of submitting my concern. They had new lilies to me THAT day. The next day these lilies are already beginning to wilt but Schaaf Floral had already emailed me checking up on the flowers they sent. I sent them a picture of the wilting lily and they called me within the hour they will be sending me brand new bouquet of flowers next week. I would also like to note that the roses are still in perfect shape they have not wilted AT ALL. Even though my stargazers didn't last long I would HIGHLY recommend this company to order flowers. They made me as the customer the priority. They will get my business again!

When my mother in law passed away unexpectidly, we were so busy making arrangements, informing family etc that the night before the wake, we realized my husband & I forgot flowers.
