My mother previously sent my sister flowers in Minneapolis through a large national website. The flowers were sent back three times because they were poorly done and not what my mother had purchased online. I was leery of sending my sister flowers because of this experience. However, I searched for a private, independent florist and looked up with Miss Bertha’s. My sister got her flowers right on time, and she called me to tell me how beautiful they were. They exceeded very high expectations. Definitely will use this shop again.

Flowers By Miss Bertha is a fabulous place. I ordered the Premium arrangement for Mother's Day and it was gorgeous. The website is user friendly and offers magical little additions to your flower order (candles, chocolates, balloons) that just make it that much more personal. To be able to send such beauty and joy during quarantine is like sending a little hope and love to those that you cherish.

I purchased the florists choice for flowers for my girlfriend on valentines day. I ordered them online about 3-4 days prior. I was very skeptical since I did not know what they would choose, I have never purchased flowers from them before and I have never send my girlfriend flowers to her place of work which has double secured entry. My doubts were quickly thrown away once I received a text from my girlfriend after lunch on valentines day. The flowers were stunning and every angle had a different arrangement of flowers. I couldn't have picked better flowers myself. She had the biggest smile on her face all day. Thank you Miss Bertha team for your help in making our 2018 Valentines days even more amazing!

Not from the Minneapolis area, it was hard to decide on a florist. After reading many different florist reviews, I chose Miss Bertha. I will not go into all the details but Miss Bertha is above and beyond when it comes to customer service. I reached out to the florist regarding a situation and Carol responded in a timely manner to my concerns. She did not hesitate to correct the situation. Very admirable and for this reason I would definitely order from her again if the opportunity would arise. In todays world customer service is so important and Carol met it with professionalism.

I’m moved away from Minneapolis but my mom is still there and I wanted to make her feel loved on Mother’s Day. I found Miss Bertha’s from google search and was blown away! I have sent flowers from every leading flower shop in The Twin Cities and all the online ones too. Miss Bertha's is the supreme of excellence and that is coming from a family of master gardeners. I can order well in advance or for next day-no problem. I send flowers quite frequently to my 95 yr old mom and she always calls and tells me that 'they out did themselves AGAIN! The flowers are grand.' Which is quite the compliment from her. Me, I am always happy because I have never had a delivery issue, never had a wilted or dead flower, always on time deliveries AND when I order online, NO DELIVERY FEES. I have learned to pick the designers choice-you cannot go wrong with it. In season flowers, beautiful designs and huge bouquets for a not so huge price. I will never order from another shop in the Twin Cities. EVER.

I'm changing my review...I felt like my V Day flowers were less than perfect but it is winter in MN and I'm sure that they did their best. The chocolates were expired but I guess that can happen anywhere. The customer service is amazing. When I left my original review, Flowers by Miss Bertha responded immediately. They offered several fixes and all were excellent but I know they did their best and I appreciate that. Having owned a business myself, I know how hard it can be to make everybody happy. I'm just pleased that they were so willing to fix it. No complaints here!

I was very impressed with the customer service at Flowers by Miss Bertha. There was a color scheme error on my original bouquet order I had placed for my daughter. Within days of the delivery they had called to ask about my satisfaction with my order, which at that time I had mentioned the color mix-up. The staff was very apologetic and helpful and corrected my order by sending out another bouquet. Both bouquets we received were promptly delivered and beautiful! The flowers looked just like the ad - they were beautiful! My daughter and son-in-law loved them. They delivered them a day early because they were concerned about an impending snowstorm - they called first to ask if it was okay. Loved the personal touch. I would definitely use them again and they didn't charge an arm and a leg for delivery.

Their being a Minneapolis based established business and the very positive customers’ reviews were the factors which appealed me. So, this time I decided to send flowers to my daughter through them. Their service was prompt and as had been requested by me, they phoned my daughter to know of her availability. My daughter requested the delivery person to leave the flowers at her doorsteps. Unfortunately, by the time she reached home, the flowers had gone. They were stolen. A little after, I received a routine email from Flowers by Miss Bertha advising that the flowers had been delivered. In response I informed them about the theft. It is to their thoughtfulness that they immediately offered to send flowers again to my daughter. They also said that my daughter could pickup the flowers from their shop if she so wished. I was really touched by the understanding and thoughtfulness. They were under no obligation to send flowers again; however, these are the little things which stand out and set one business apart from another. As for the flowers, they were great! My daughter, who was very much disappointed following the theft, was really delighted to receive a very beautiful and thoughtfully designed bouquet of flowers. She has also been touched by the professionalism and thoughtfulness displayed by Flowers by Miss Bertha.

I am a little disappointed. I ordered the Serene Paradise flowers and they ended up being more Bells of Ireland than anything else. I was hoping for a few more roses and tulips, which were the recipient's favorite flowers. Still a pretty bouquet, but less impressive than I thought it would be for the price.

I ordered online and then realized that the soonest that the online order could be delivered was the next day. I called and spoke with who I assume is "Miss Bertha" and told her I was hoping to get them delivered the same day. It was 11:30 and she said that they usually can't do same day delivery after 11 (the truck is out delivering after that, I assume). Fortunately, she was able to make it happen and my wife received what she said was one of the best professional arrangements she'd seen. Keep it small. Keep it local. I'll definitely be back!

I ordered the "You and Me" rose in a vase on Valentine's day. our order was supposed to be delivered the next day on February 15th, 2018. Unfortunately, we never received the flowers at our door so I called their shop and they refunded my card. Good customer service. 2 days later my neighbor knocks on my door and gives me the flower vase with the rose but the roses were dead for sitting out at the front door of the wrong person's home and the vase was shattered. Obviously, we threw everything out as it was not good anymore. Disappointed that my girlfriend's flowers didn't make it but we do understand that mistakes do happen so we have to rate them a 3.
