I have had the pleasure to receive 2 arrangements from Acanthus from dear friends. I'm always blown away with how unique and beautiful they are. They also last way longer than any other grocery store or other bouquet.

UPDATE : The best Valentine's day flowers ever ! Jodi Irwin designer and owner. Has some amazing flower arranging skills check out the pictures below. I have gone to this wonderful place the last 7 years and just had the best results. My favorite thing to do is just tell her a color or type of flower and let her do the rest it always turns out so magical.

Love it here--just getting over a cold, and the air is so fresh that my lungs opened back up. The two on the right are the plants I bought. I brought the orchid in after purchasing it elsewhere and I got help getting it back up to zero so far as health, free of charge. Local artists and jewelry is great, and though everything is a bit more pricey than you'd find in a non-specialty shop, the quality of merchandise and the dedication to customer satisfaction make supporting this local store very worth it. Note: in 2021, my bamboo is still flourishing. Highly recommend it for any beginning plant lovers!

Jodi at Acanthus goes beyond helpful customer service for her customers. I sent a her message when I was out of town to have some flowers delivered to a hospital and it went very smoothly. The flowers were delivered very quickly and later I heard that her bouquet was by far the best looking arrangement. Always beautiful and healthy flowers, always helpful and nice. The best flower shop in the Twin Cities IMO!

Great service, flower quality, and prices. I wasn't able to stop in the shop, but Jodi helped me by directing me to their Facebook page. picked out the arrangement and she sent me a photo of locally made vases. When a friend passed away unexpectedly, I was desperately looking for a mom and pop/local floral shop to do an arrangment. I found Acanthus totally by chance. The person in whose honor the arrangment was for had been an active tarot reader. While I know nothing about tarot, and do not practice it, I knew that it had meaning for her family. I spoke to an acquaintance who runs a tarot card dealership, and she let me pick through her mismatched decks and helped me identify cards that were associated with the positive traits that represented my friend. I brought them to Acanthus, and they found wonderful ways of incorporating the cards into a floral arrangement- standing some up from the small plastic card holders, punching holds in the tops of others and hanging them from willow spirals, etc. They did a beautiful, individualized job on short notice at what I found to be a very reasonable price. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Beautiful flowers, great service. I called and asked for an arrangement of cut flowers in a glass vase. I provided the address where they should be delivered and the occasion. The flowers were beautiful, and it was so easy. The price was just right.

I never go anywhere else. The arrangements from Acanthus are always beautiful and, more importantly, are designed specifically for the recipient. You can't get this from the big online companies or national affiliates. I especially recommend the floral subscription as a gift to yourself or someone else. 10/10. Mwah.
