We used Urban Sense for our October 9th 2021 wedding at the Westin Milwaukee on Van Buren St and could not have been any happier with the flowers and the service Urban Sense gave us. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and made our wedding day even more beautiful!!! We got the usual bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages for all of our wedding party. We also had two tall orchid trees that were used in our ceremony and then behind the head table, they were the perfect focal point and were just stunning. Lastly, we had two different centerpieces for our guest tables, they added the perfect touch of elegance and beauty to the tables. The donut vases being our favorite with the orchids and other flowers being woven through it-just breathtaking. All the pieces were different yet cohesive and pulled all our design elemts together. The flower choices were the perfect color combinations for the theme and design of our wedding with some unique touches thrown in too. Full credit for this goes to Dan at Urban Sense. He had invaluable advice, amazing vision, and was very patient with my many questions and requested changes. There were a few times he stepped in and made a suggestion to not make changes and I appreciated the honesty. The credit for how gorgeous the designs turned out that day goes to Chris who put the flowers together, he is a definite artist. As stunning as it all was, we felt the price for what we got was very reasonable as well. Urban sense by far was the one of our favorite vendors and went above and beyond in so many ways to make our day special. Would highly recommend them!!! And by the way they have a really cute little store on Vilet that has great little gifts too.

Urban Sense did such an amazing job on all of our florals for our September 2022 wedding! From the start, Dan was so incredibly great to work with! He really took the time to understand both our vision & budget and then shared so many great ideas on how to make it come to life! We couldn't have been happier on our big day to see how everything from the ceremony orchid trees to the bouquets and table arrangements came together so beautifully! We can't recommend Urban Sense enough!

Dan was very easy to work with and very communicative. We loved our flowers! We received a lot of complements on them. They were very different than what I would have imaged and I like that. The only thing that I was disappointed about was not having a cascading bouquet like what I had requested and shared pictures with him of. It was surprising he didn’t send us a flower board when he sent the proposal to us (so we really had no idea what it would all look like together and I created my own based on the flower types he sent us). We were surprised also he wanted us to return a box, which no one in the wedding party knew about, so he charged us for it when we dropped off the rentals.

Dan did an amazing job of taking our color pallet and putting our dreams into reality. All night we were getting compliments on the amazing floral decorations which perfectly matched the color palette and used new flowers and shapes, instead of the same old same old flowers you normally see at weddings.

Urban Sense is a delightful place to visit and browse. Everywhere you turn, there is something unique. The MIXTURE brand candles are small yet mighty in throwing fragrance when lit. They have a nice selection of handmade cards and jewelry. It’s a go-to destination for gifts, with the added bonus of shopping and supporting a local business

I could not be more grateful to have found Urban Sense for my wedding flowers. Upon first phone call with Dan I knew I had found the place! My bridal bouquet, my bridesmaids’ bouquets, the centerpieces for all the tables, and all the miscellaneous floral decorations at the reception were gorgeous and beyond anything I could have dreamt of. Dan took the time with me over the months leading up to the wedding to hear what I was looking for and created arrangements that far exceeded my expectations. I could not be happier with how everything turned out. On top of their work being exceptional, Dan was so easy to work with. His calm nature and how he listened to what I was looking for was such a breath of fresh air. As a bride, so many people tell you what you “need” to do but Dan was the opposite. He listened, then gave his expert advice and suggestions to ensure the end product was perfection. Surrounding a day of chaos for the bride, I didn’t worry at all about the floral delivery or how they’d turn out…I completely trusted Urban Sense and they did not let me down. I highly, highly recommended Urban Sense for all your floral needs. They are expert professionals that keep the customer at the forefront of every piece they create. I’m looking forward to ordering more from them in the near future.

Owners were very helpful and we were extremely happy with our wedding bouquets and centerpieces. Easy to work with and we didn't have to worry about delivery, setup, or pickup on the wedding day, which was very welcomed. I've since gone back to random flower arrangements and they always looks beautiful and are quick. Update: Still feel the exact same way 9 years later

Great place! Went to get a bouquet of flowers for my wife from here since I was in the neighborhood already. Not only did they make up a beautiful bouquet for me on the spot, I discovered that they are almost like a gift shop inside as well. Candles, jewelry, ornaments, etc. I purchased a 'spiral candle' for my wife and she said she's never seen anything like it before, and let me tell you, that's really saying something. Definitely worth a visit.

Chris & Dan did the flower arrangements for our wedding and words just can't do this team justice - we wish we could shout it from a mountaintop... THEY ARE JUST SO AMAZING!! Wonderful to work with, supremely knowledgeable, and smiles and positivity for days! We had quite a particular vision and style for our wedding, and the moment we met them we knew we could completely trust them. The only time I cried on our wedding day was when the bouquets were delivered to the hotel... they were just that beautiful. Working with Dan was perfect! He took a few pictures I showed him to create bouquets I could only dream of! Dan put me right at easy listening to our plan and my ideas; making amazing suggestions. Dan put me at ease with our budget, after speaking with four other florist shops. I never thought I would receive so many compliments on the bouquets, everyone was asking the names of flowers and who the florist was. My groom loved the pocket boutonnière; a friend tried to copy the style when she put together the flowers but it did not compare. I cannot say enough good things about Dan and Urban Sense. I would and will recommend Urban Sense to everyone within earshot.

Lovely little shop. Very nice gentlemen. Made me a beautiful bouquet arrangement for a gift. They have wonderful unique items and cards. Very kind people. The place is quaint clean and inviting. Check it out. You wont be disappointed. They DO NOT DO FRUIT BASKETS SO DONT ASK ME THAT QUESTION. I DON'T KNOW IF THEY DELIVER EITHER.

Dan and Chris did all our flowers for our wedding, 10 years ago. Man alive. Such great people! They have such an incredible, almost preternatural knack for style and "cool" it's unreal. This is Tosa's finest gem. I never ask for anything, I just give them a price I can pay. Bouquets, our wedding, whatever it is, I trust them with my life. And wife. Everything they do, they knock it out of the park. They have underwritten done v of my life's most important moments and they do it with a style and grace that easily put The Flower Lady and others to disgrace. So cool. So talented. I also get Archipelago Botanicals candles from them and they will always help you with your product. They know their stuff, and they know it well. You give them an aesthetic, a scent or or Christmas party and on their end, they will always make it better than what you wanted. I. Love. These. Dudes.

Dog Days Forever.

The flower arrangement I received from Urban Sense was bar none the most beautifully put together arrangement I have ever received. And the courtesy of the delivery driver to send me a voicemail that he was there and where the flowers were was more then I could have ever expected. That let me know that I should go right home from my nail appointment. Urban Sense you get more the an A+ from me. I would recommend this florist to everyone. Thank you again. I've had the pleasure of using this company for flower arrangements for a corporate event. The arrangements were beautiful and highly complimented. I appreciate that I can tell them the general color scheme and they come up with arangements to meet my needs.
