Shortly before hosting a welcome party for my son's wedding, we needed to severe ties with the florist scheduled for the party. Through the wonderful Thomas in floral and produce at City Market, we found Queen City Florist, and the lovely and talented Diana Doll. She quite literally saved the day, by getting me beautiful blooms from both a flower farm and her own garden for me to make the arrangements. The flowers were spectacular, and with her guidance, I had fun creating several beautiful arrangements. We had a lot of compliments on them, and my next future daughter-in-law wants me to do the same for her wedding next year! Thank you Diana, it was a delight working with you!!

I received flowers for my anniversary from this amazing florist! The arrangement did not disappoint! I love the unique filler and filler flowers! Everything in the arrangement was very fresh. The card that came with it was a cute stick with the card tied to it with yarn. The owner followed up after the flowers were delivered and answered my questions about the little blue flower I didn’t know. Not only are the arrangements beautiful but so affordable for what you get. I have already told my family about this place if they ever want to send me flowers that they must be from Queen City Flowers 🌸 💐.

Highly recommend! Small operation with an interest in using locally grown flowers. Personal, empathetic service, for reasonable prices. I wanted to find a local florist to send sympathy flowers, and liked the arrangements and business description on the Queen City Flowers site. The owner was busy when I called, but returned my call within the time she had estimated (10 minutes), and replied to subsequent email communications quickly. Her flower arrangement was thoughtful and beautiful! It was delivered unexpectedly quickly, with friendly service.

Diana, the owner and operator is amazing. Not only was she able to special order specific flowers for me to send to my friend who was having surgery at the Medical Center in Vermont, but when complications arose due to a room change after surgery, she alerted me by text so that my friend would be sure to have the flowers in her new room! We ordered a Christmas table arrangement from Queen City Flowers in Burlington and we were very pleased with the arrangement. It has an artistic flair to it that you don't often find at other florists. Diana gave us some great advice on how to care for the arrangement and we followed the advice and two weeks later it still looks great! We are pleased to support this women owned small business and will definitely be ordering more floral arrangements from her in the future. We really appreciated the flexible, contactless delivery that Diana provides as well during this time of COVID. We highly recommend Diana and her team at Queen City Flowers!

The mission is rooted in community building where every bouquet is matched with another donated to a local organization in town.
