So happy to have a local gem like Velma's available - great variety of unique party decorations, gifts, books, cards, balloons etc. on top of a licensed notary public and a way to fax paperwork (yes, some companies still request it!) Please support this excellent small business

The hall where we had the event had very tall ceilings and your beautiful arrangements gave each table height and the butterflies truly appeared to be soaring. I love love this small business in the heart of Fleetwood! Unique gifts, balloons, cards and books. Velma gives meticulous attention and service; I walked in looking for wrapping paper, and walked out with the wedding gift I had purchased prior all beautifully wrapped. And with two beautiful gift bags filled with items purchased in the store (stuffed animals, Halloween books and pinwheels) for the kiddos in the wedding party. Thanks Velma; I love small locally owned businesses that get that special mix of personal service, price and charm just right!

A very cute store in Mt. Vernon with party supplies and gifts. I don’t think I have ever gone in there and left with just the one thing I went for. In addition to wide variety of party supplies, they have the cutest mugs, books, magnets and so much more which make great gifts! I just went the other day to grab some balloons for my boyfriends birthday and ended up leaving with those, a mini reasons why I love you book, a magnet and a calendar (last item for myself- ha). They even have a notary on site which is very convenient, when in need. You just need to call for her hours the day you plan on going. Will continue coming here for my party planning and attending needs!

Small but manages to have everything you need, in every theme you need. Prices are competitive with big box stores, and the items are good quality. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Good music in the store too! The leopard print bags are a nice touch.

Velma's is great. I always find the cards I need. I would so much rather support a local gift shop than a nationwide chain. It's a friendly, adorable place to shop for fun special occasion items.

Velma's party shop is a lovely place. Everyone is super friendly, they have a beautiful selection of African-American cards. A nice selection of Christian selection of mugs, books and cups and a wide range of party supplies.

The woman here (sorry I didn't get your name but if you read this you know it's you) was very helpful. I told her I just needed a few things for my daughter's birthday. I always hang streamers by her bedroom door and around the house and I didn't see any here. She went through the closet and dug out some streamers. Thank you!

Omg !! Words can't explain how amazing she was. I needed baby shower pins, favors, and prizes and I found it all in the matter in minutes. She made pins for me in less than 24 Hours !!!!!! I loved it and so did the mother and father to be. I highly recommend her services for all your party needs.
