One of my favorite going out spot in Brooklyn.
House of Yes is an institution. Great venue, amazing entertainment and very good drinks. They have some of the best drag shows in New York City. The vibe is always fun. I have always had a great time here. Highly recommend!
Michael Camerino
Best club I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend buying tickets to performance. As long as you stay, they let you stick around for the dance party the rest of the evening. The theater performance was incredible, unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Cast members are not only talented but very friendly and will strike up casual conversation after the show. The also have a hot tub! Drinks are reasonably priced, especially for being a venue. I can not recommend this place enough. Money very well spent! Definitely going back soon!

I’ve never seen a drag performer climb a wall….until I went to house of yes! Great entertaining show in an amazing venue. After the show we were moved into the bar for some great tunes by a few local DJ’s. Bar has some amazing decor. Will be back!
Gerald Davis
This was a knee slapping good time. I had a fabulous time. All the acts we're good and the seating was excellent!! They have a bar but the drink could have been better at those prices!Overall I had a very good time and will be back for another show

What an amazing place! Honestly, if you haven't gone you definitely should. It's entertaining, whimsical, charming, and just all around fun. Great for a friends night out, or a date with your partner. The staff and entertainers work so hard to create an enjoyable environment that really that's all I can say about the place. Highly recommend the Dirty Circus show. Don't miss out.

Omg!! First off LOVE THE CONSENT POLICY!
I had such a great time dancing and drinking while I knew I’d be protected if anyone tried to be creepy! Came with friends and enjoyed all the dancers about. The space’s Deco was FAB ✨ I want to come by for all their events! ✨ drinks are $12 for some tasty things on the menu. Don’t drink beer so didn’t look @ that. Bathrooms were all inclusive. A great queer space 💓 so appreciated - go find out how fun this place is!!
Dimi
One of the most beautiful places to visit in Brooklyn. Great atmosphere, music and drinks. They have many events every week. One of the most gender-fluid places that tolerates NO hate. The lines are always long so you better get tickets early!!! Restrooms for all genders and coat check available!

It is a bit challenging to find (went by metro and walked) but worth it. A whole different world and great fun. Went to the Dirty Circus cabaret show mid week and it was an excellent show. Big shout out to the security staff who were great and went above and beyond.
Michael L
My roommate took me here for a burlesque show on my birthday. Fun times- engaging, talented performers, some tasty cocktails, and a very nice and friendly staff, from the doorman to the bartenders. Looking forward to going again, for any reason.

Was Date night and my wife has been wanting to come see the show for a while and I Gotta say wasn't disappointed at all. Well cept for her not winning the tub raffle.. the mc was great reminded me of the Tom cruise character from Tropic thunder.. the preformers killed it even dude doing it he juggling.. a must experience event can't front.. 🐻
Karina Kisselite
Wow, what a show! Definitely recommend. Went for the dirty circus. It lasted for about 2.5h with a break in between. There was a bar, but not super exciting options. The audience was actually a bit less dressed up than I expected, so felt comfortable. They open the doors 1h before the show and then arrived maybe 10 min before the start, but the doors to the main room were still closed, so no need to rush. The artists were funny and talented.

House of Yes was the most magical club experience I have ever had!
The staff were AMAZING, there were bubbles and a makeup station and themed dancers and a WATER STATION?!? Phenomenal. I absolutely am making a trip all the way to NY again JUST for The House of Yes! 🌈✨🦄 …
Lorena Camelo
Great club for the queer community. I enjoyed the party there, people is very respectful and I felt safe. The dancers are awesome and the music keeps you dancing all night long. Loved it!

Wife and I wanted to try a new experience. So we did research and found out about this place. House of Yes is an event space/venue that does different services. They want to stress to EVERYONE that they are inclusive of all races, genders, tastes, etc. EVERYONE is welcome (so long as you are respectful of everyone and ready for a great time). We went for the Dirty Circus Show. A unique experience to be sure: and one to keep the party flowing. Everyone on the stage was entertaining as well as talented. Will be looking out for more future events.
Julia
What a fun venue. This place is serving Berlin energy. The music was quite mediocre the night we went, but we arrived pretty late with the "after 1:30AM" half priced tickets. Would be a great venue to see a DJ you like. It's small, intimate and had the most outrageous and playful decor. We had such a blast just exploring. There is an indoor smoking area where there was a blackjack table set up, as well as a bar. Good vibes and a good crowd. Would love to return!

Very busy venue line moves fast. Before entering you are briefed on house rules. They stamp your arm upon entering. Which gives you a safe vibe before entering. The place was packed got there around 11:00 pm. The floors where wet everywhere within the club luckily I had on flats. Somewhat air-conditioning before main dance floor. The place really needs to be deep cleaned floors walls and decor. The bathroom ugggh it's Out dated dirty and truthfully grimy. There's a free water jug at end of bar its hot and not refreshing. Drinks are reasonable priced. Staff is very friendly and pleasant. Outside standing area attached to club was open to elements so depending on weather it can be comfortable to get a breath of air. You cannot exit the club to re-enter. Once you leave you will not be able to enter even if your arm is stamped. The music should be strong in all areas of club accept for outside areas for their neighbors comfort. There's basically no seating throughout the club. I really wanted to give this club a great review, love the good intentions and staff for the community but it's run down and needs work. I understand they have different gigs throughout day and evenings, so it's used often so I can understand the wear and tear. Suggest remodeling club and hire a great cleanup crew for each event. I plan on going back in the future to review again. If your not picky on cleanliness or decor then go.

Such a great place. Unlike other clubs you can actually have intelligent conversations with people and staff here. Ive received warmth from this venue last few times that I've been and would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice atmosphere filled with fun people and art.

This venue really showed me how important and lovely queer and creative spaces are, security went the absolute extra mile to help me out when I was blackout and not feeling so sexy and glamorous. They stayed with my friend and I throughout, making sure we were okay and stepped in to help us get home safe. Cant Thank-you enough and Can’t wait until we can visit again and experience house of yes for the most beautiful and wonderful place that it is.
William Baumgarth
I've traveled to over 30 countries and easily have been to 100+ clubs. This is my favorite one and is my go-to. No BS door politics and the crowd that it attracts is pretty cool. There's something for everyone at this place.
Cleo Halls
The most magical place I’ve ever been. Maybe my favourite place in the world? A shining light for the weirdos of the world, a truly captivating space that illustrates the sheer power of human creativity. Seeing dirty circus changed my life….I think about it every single day and truly am a changed person after that experience. I wish I could come back. Thank you!
AFLON MCIVER
SICKKKKK party experience! Celebrate rated with them for Labor day weekend, was playing Mas for the first time in the Labor Day Parade in Brooklyn the next day and this was the beat way to pregame. Beautiful and diverse! Music and people of all kinds!! And I loved the dance performers on the wall. Will absolutely go back!
Valdano Terzic
THE ANSWER IS YES, GO THERE NOW! Wait in line, pitch a tent, do whatever you need to do to get inside (legally). THE GREATEST DANCE FLOOR ON THIS PLANET. PERIOD. YASSSS! I love everything about this place, the beyond friendly and talented team that runs it and the energy that surrounds it. I LOVE YOU HOUSE OF YES!!!!
Amarachi
Amazing!!! I went for a drag show (Hot mess). It was fantastic. The drinks were strong and the price was decent ($14) for NYC. All in all, great vibes!
Maxim Rubis
One of the best nightlife spots. You can dance away all night long among the like minded people. The vibe and atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. Type of music varies from party to party, from dj to dj, but I've yet to have a bad experience here. Overall, I highly recommend visiting this iconic place. Don't forget the costume!
Janice Del Valle
It was alright the drinks were really good I just wish there was more variety on the kind of music they played here. I loved the decor though the table in the middle of the dance floor kind of limits space and it is also kinda unsafe.
Diamond Walker
Attended a amateur burlesque show here, absolutely amazing. And the two hosts who’s names I forgot (I’m sorry) did wonderful as well. I was trying to be in the moment and enjoy the show but here some are pictures I managed to get. Their name is God Complex!
Diana Fiumara
Went for the first time this past Saturday and I seriously can't wait to go back. It's everything I love. Open and accepting people, the good kind of weird vibe, great music, and a nice intimate and entertaining setting.
Sabrina C
Fun and inviting. They escorted someone out because he made a girl very uncomfortable. And hooked me up on my 25th birthday. Amazing staff and dancers 11 out of 10
Chana Greenwald
I had an also experience. I love how people can express themselves there. Everyone is respectful to everyone. Alot of fun. I happen to love music with words. Very interesting place. For a first time experience it was fun.
Alejandro Mendoza
Went there last Friday for the first time, visiting from Texas & man!!! They know how to throw a party. Really fun times and great friendly atmosphere. Music was on point (mostly house music 🕺). I went alone and met some cool people - i recommend & can't wait to return to the city! …
Vadi Efe
coolest parties in NYC - great audience and vibe, must go in Bushwick
Jada Williams
I don't know if it was because of the crowd there that night or what but the energy of the staff was a LOT different compared to when I went last time. My friends and I went on a Thursday and some of the staff, mostly the bartenders were SO rude! Especially the blonde one near the stage. My friend asked them about one of the specials that was SITTING ON THE BAR and they rolled their eyes and snatched up the sign and threw it behind the bar. A simple "sorry, it's not available" would've sufficed. I normally love this place because of the lovey-dovey vibes, the amazing outfits and people but that bartender along with the other one that was wearing a red bralette really made me feel like I was back in high school with their condescending, mean girl energy. The dancers were amazing though and made up for their co-workers rude behaviour.
Steinhardt SSA
Only giving a 5 to support the amazing drag performers and interior design. This establishment clearly worked hard to created a unique space. Unfortunately copious amounts of non-queer patrons aggressively bump into everyone at every angle. It takes you out of the mood to dance when you’re falling over from being incessantly pushed. To anyone reading this post and you wish to go here, please learn spatial awareness and kindness at queer venues. Everyone is welcomed, but don’t touch or push people - it may fulfill your perception of being a “tough NYer” - but in reality you just ruin the vibe and community. Also, dress up when there is a theme, otherwise just go push around a at boring straight bar with no need for a safe space or community.
Eric White
House of Yes gets a big Yes as a place to visit. Friendly crowd and workers were there. I like the media displayed on screen that corresponds to the music playing. Interesting dancers in a cage was doing interesting dancing moves. A water fountain for customers to drink water after dancing to funky house music.
Karla Aybar
Always a great time! Love the vibe. Creative and inclusive space. Don't love the "no re-entry rule" and drinks are pretty pricey.
Nappy G.
Still the best BIG club in Brooklyn! Has a real ambience, sexy energy, visually stunning aerialists & go-go dancers, open-minded crowd, great Soundsystem.
Edgar Torres
A fun experience, good drinks awesome music and nice staff. Drinks are affordable and you can even get in for free if you RSVP. Been there 4 times and will go back.
Adam Johnson
Such a good place. Very inclusive to everyone. I was in the audience for the Bushwick talent show and legit felt like i was on TV. Judges were hilarious and so was the host
Henry Camp
Fun place to see whacky decor, talented performers, and costumed club goers. I guess my main gripe is that the dancing isn't excellent, which was mostly what I came to do. The dance floor was packed, but most people weren't dancing except for a slight head bop/knee bend. We got up on the center platform, as that's where most dancing was happening, but it quickly got too crowded, and we became more concerned with not falling off. It didn't help that the dj was playing some pretty uninspiring house music.
Kaad Stanislaus
Great experience all around. Sound design was amazing, didn’t lose my sense of hearing after leaving. All smiles and good vibes.
K marsh
Very different, quirky and fun. The music was awesome, the rules are important - no discrimination or judgements and everyone has fun. Its obvious why, loads of unique people having fun here. Did get s drink but they offer water and have a selection on the wall. Cool dancers and you can participate! Would go back!
Wendy Albert
Fun, lively place! Diverse crowd, all having fun together with no judgements. Russia, Mateo and Matos were extraordinary! Danced all night!
Christine Myer
Such a cool fun place to hang out and have fun. Great show, great peeps! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Love the vibe!
The bathroom is super fancy and super fabulous. Love the details and decor.

Great place to have a party at. We got a table with a reserved area and were treated really well. We didn't need to wait in line and were brought directly to our seating area that is roped off and located directly across the stage and DJ booth. The service is absolutely top notch, our alcohol was replenished often, our serves kept coming by to check on us, they brought out the cake we brought with candles and sang "Happy Birthday" then they cut the cake and served it. The busboys were on top of everything and kept our area very clean, replaced our ice and juice often. The DJ was wonderful, she had everyone dancing all night. The ambience is truly magical and the acrobatic performances were divine! I highly recommend coming here to celebrate a special occasion
Warren Dantzler
Otherworldly, ecstatic, and free, the House of Yes is one of the most unique clubs and venues I've ever had the privilege to patronize. Calling it a visit feels unfair: it's an experience. The energy is palpable and, when you're there, you are surrounded with loving vibrations. This is truly a special place in Brooklyn's nightlife. Highly recommend seeing some kind of performance here in addition to any party you might attend (I saw 'Ketamine the Musical', 10/10 also!).
Seokheeoppa Lee
It was so much fun, the staff were friendly, and it was impressive that they gave notices before entering to prevent accidents, and it was a bit difficult to make a reservation.
Salih Seckin Sevinc
One of the best in the world. This place is not just an entertainment venue; it's a temple.
Enjoy.
Can Çimen
Just say YES to go! Amazing place for partying. Incredable service, room for disco, room for smoke, reasonable prices. Enjoy!
Andrew-Ian Bullitt
Inclusive, fun, weird environment. The cocktails are really good. Entertainers are top notch.
Julien Guigues
This club is amazing. People and music are great and it’s located in a nice neighborhood.
If you’re in NYC, you must go there. But bring the sparkles, it’s not like other boring clubs !
Alice Wu
Great venue! I was in NY for a vacation, and came here for Discotechnique. I love that the vibe and crowd are similar to Burning Man, and at least 75% of the people dress the part. They emphasize asking for consent before contact, and almost everyone there is good about following it. I wish there was a venue similar to this in the Bay Area where I live.
Joel Dignam
The venue itself is very cool. Great space, funky, lots of personality. But I wanted to dance and I left disappointed. Not very impressed with the DJ but also the crowd was not exactly getting into it.
Tobias Gehrke
What a place. It's an experience and concept above all. Were here for a new years party. It was a memorable experience, though the party was not wild and a bit overcrowded so dancing was limited. Still, an excellent night
Fabio Sciarra
I was in NYC for work then a friend advices me to go to House of Yes in my free night and...she was totally right, I had a lot of fun there...great music and full of very friendly and cool people
halel aloush
The decoration are amazing. The music is also great.
Each cocktail cost 15$ a bit expensive but they may allow it because the entrance is free, and they already has there ‘name’.
K G
A lot of fun! Good/interesting atmosphere and friendly staff. A bit expensive in my opinion, but I'm a novice club-goer, so not sure what the norm is. $35 entry plus $3 coat check just seems like a lot to me.
John Wainwright
Amazing club. Crowd and employees are very nice and I like how each party has a different theme. Drinks are very good also and not overpriced
Josh Thomas
Ketamine The Musical was the highlight of my first trip to NYC. The self described pre-show entertainment pizza slice person who was then utterly astounding on the rings is someone whose humour and sheer talent I will never forget. Queer circus cabaret chaos backed by professionalism.
Mihavit
It's not my normal atmosphere for partying, but it was fun nonetheless. There is 2 live DJ's spinning in 2 separate rooms. As u walk in the music is already live and pumping. Small, but decent sized dance floor and bar. The bathroom area is really tight for both male and females. On the DJ's right hand side is a set of doors. Once u enter it's like a whole different experience. The first thing I notice is the amount of space there is in this section. The bar is on the far right against the wall. If u look up over the bar area, u will find a cage that some ppl are able to dance in. Yes, u can request to be in the cage to dance. And on the opposite side there is a crescent moon that some performers use as well and a big stage in the back. Flashing lights and and accessible stairway to dance behind and DJ, obviously out of his way. Drinks are reasonable and strong, Ppl are friendly and worth the time. Not to mention for u smokers, their is a section for u on the complete opposite side of the 2 dance areas. By day, I heard this is a restaurant. I haven't personally experience that, but I heard nothing but good things when it comes to food.
Sahil P
My top party destination in New York. I take every friend that visits here and they love it !
It has a great vibe( burners will love it), amazing people and music I love. There are three sections, dance floor, event space / bar space and outdoor bar / chill space (+ a seasonal tiny disco place in the back)
Has dope dance parties (usually costumes are required), shows and they even started Ted talk type events. Themes can range from cats, space, glitter to regular dance events like daybreakers and getdown.
Every progressive and consent is everything here. Everyone is welcome and you are guaranteed to have a great time. I won't spoil everything for you but go visit!
Angela Prisbrey
I had no idea what to expect and I am so very happy about that! Each room was fantastic! We loved the Frick Frack Black Jack and we even got ourselves a fun tattoo!

If you are party person and you like unique places to party hard , this is the place for you.
Buy tickets online, or you will wait a lot of time in line to get in.
The crew can be rude and aggressive at the door and when the place close at the end of the night. but if you don't mind that you'll have fun.
Trading GR
This place is excellent , great team working together , they work like an family .
The vibe is good and they try to create a good atmosphere during covid.
Excellent job
Ms.B
House of Glitter were phenomenal! The Dragon Sisters were my favorite act of the night!... Had to save the best for last...!
Liana Fan
My favorite place to dance! I love hoy! The performers, the vibe, the love I feel here is unbelievable. I love that this place exists.
Gerard Nissenbaum
Absolutely incredible and unique. This is the spot to get weird and wild while respecting the people around you. Make sure to show up in costume!
Dr. Who Time Lord
Better than expected. Went Saturday night. Club had event with 4 different DJs. They also had some element of the show, they I am not sure present in regular (eventless) day.
Club is nicely decorated. Restrooms are ok, based on our experience, were kept clean very well. Stalls in restrooms decorated so interesting, that I started to suspect people spending more time taking pictures in addition to doing their business. Drinks were good and reasonably priced for a nightclub. Water is free (there is self service dispenser), but they run out of classes (plastic, reusable, they clean them and restock) very quickly. So, I would advise to hold to your glass and just refill it when you need water.
We were there as a group and I did not run into any harassment or any inappropriate behavior. We seemed to have a good crowd that night as well. Although I saw few single folks who looked like they were there to make connections.
Club gets crowded after 1am. If you like to dance, plan to be there 11pm-1am. After 1am you might only dance vertically, not sideways, that is not convenient for majority of people. We left around 2am and were very much satisfied with our experience.
Hydi Ng
Quirky, packed with people of all kinds, very interesting. Music system good enough to dance to. Came in wed Hot Mess night, had a lot of fun and love the fancy bathrooms too! Will Definately come back!
Syed M. Bilal Zaidi
Best nightlife experience in New York City hands down. It's hidden away in Brooklyn and could take a bit of effort to get out there, but every minute spent getting there is worth the insane experience. Go with an open mind and you won't regret it. Every themed night offers different experiences to cater to everybody's tastes and while costumes aren't always required, I would recommend giving it a shot to get in the spirit. I've never felt unsafe or treated badly in this establishment and that is what I love about this place. You can be part of everything happening, or just do your own thing with absolutely no judgement or pressure from anyone.
Caroline with love
We went here for a Labor day party. It was really nice and the music was lit! We had a great time and there's a possibility that we will come back.
Oleg P
Unique place! The spirit of creativity, fun, and life are definitely very alive here! Great staff, cool shows, free entrance with rsvp on Fridays before 11pm. Come, and see this brooklyn gem for yourself!
Jill Krebsbach
Always a fun spot to go dancing. Love the vibes. Guest, staff always super nice
Vlad Grigorjev
Loved it!
A unique (to me) experience!
Unusual surroundings and absolutely amazing staff! I'd definitely come again!
Thank you! 💙 …

Haven’t been dancing in over 20 years. Went there and felt so comfortable and had a blast.
Ivette Davila-Richards
Most AMAZING spot I've ever been to. Great music, great ambience, great people to chill with & talk to. Had a ball and would definitely come back again.
Yolanda Watson
I love it here! I went for the first time for my friends birthday. People were super chill, drinks were affordable, bartenders were cool, and the music was rockin. The dancers up top were a really nice touch as well. They have a lot of space and an outside area where you can sit and have a smoke and chitchat with your mates. It’s great. I believe they do tons of different events so if you have a chance, definitely pop in and dance your face off.
Nikki Votta
Super cool show! Loved the atmosphere and any performer in the show we got to speak with was super friendly!
Katherine Kahley
Updating from 1 star because they handled feedback on extreme overcrowding at the Halloween House of Hallucinations event well. Hoping to return on a non-peak night and have a better experience.
Savannah Greene
Very cool vibe and atmosphere. Super aesthetically pleasing - reminded me of a carnival. Wasn't a fan of the house music when I went though, and definitely some big crowds to navigate through. Would recommend for a night you plan to go all out and do a lot of drinking, or else it can be a bit overwhelming.
Carly Pisarri
Incredible venue. Incredible performers.
Ahjema Soups
Very interesting place, great theme, amazing service and friendly crowd. Music was alright. Look at the site and see what is going on that night, get into it (costume or whatever ), and it will be much more fun.
Joseph Burton
Wanted to try this place for awhile! Was amazing great atmosphere and people. Very inclusive, Be who you want? Also Enjoy who you want. City prices so expect to drop some money.
JJ
How do you explain the simultaneous feeling of freedom, empowerment, love, and beauty? Words can’t properly describe the feeling of being inside HOY, you have to experience it for yourself.
Aaryn Wright
I'm so glad I got the chance to go to HOUSE OF YES, as this was a definite visit in on the list, amazing people, five stars across the board, it truly is a vibe. Please don't question it, go dance your heart out!!! Every place and section here is photo worthy/friendly!! :)
Nasana B
I live blocks away from here and it's the best thing ever!!! 🤪 …
Bárbara Vitoriano
I enjoyed to party there last Saturday, the music is nice and the place is really well decorated. I loved that, before entering, someone have done an introduction about the place and the politics about love and respect to everyone.
Apart from this, I think the place is a bit overpriced for what they have, I think that 40 dollars entrance is a bit too much for the space and party that it is, cause it’s only one stage/ room and an outside place (it would be nice to have another stage with other music outside for example).
Ps: the bathroom is really well decorated too, and it was clean :)
MARTIN KALWILL
Best venue in today's NYC. They put together so many shows, full productions, and then party all night the right way.
Emma O'Brien
A wonder, a sight to see. Come early and stay til close - highly recommend the dirty circus, don’t forget your birthday suit. Thank you NY!!
Martiña González
AMAZING! Been wanting to go for a couple of years now but i never found the time in my trip to do so. No regrets. I attended a free "night of a thousand bowies" party. Usually theres a 10 dollar cover, the place was a bit dark but completely fun, they got performances and great drinks
Fabian Duss
Cool club with a lot of ambience. We were there on a Thursday evening - "dirty thursday". What's especially great is that there are a lot of locals in this club and not many tourists. That's the way to experience Brooklyn :-)
Hunter Frederick
This is an unusual spot. Very original. Out of the main stream. Usually not a great place to go with your parents and less your parents are totally cool with naked bodies. Ha ha ha
A lot of vibe parties here. Here I saw a clown. Aerial dancers. Drag queens. A massage table. And so much more.
m m
Safe haven for queers and allies. Great vibe, decor, entertainment, and awesome bar staff. Body positive space.
Alaina Zulli
Minus 1 star for being really f#$&$@ loud. My ears are doing that slightly dampened ringing thing. It's not necessary; the performers are extraordinary, they don't need the blasted audio.
Zac Sax
House of Yes is by far the best and most important club in the city. It's inclusive, for everyone, and still manages to keep the vibe amazing and fun.
House of Love was their best party by far, but seems to be over for now :( Hopefully it will come back at some point.
Frank Parisi
Went for Dirty Circus and had an amazing time. Had a table and Mel was amazing and went above and beyond. The show was great and will def be returning in a few weeks
Gaurav Mishra
Beautiful vibes and place! We came for a Deep Beat Yoga class that happens every Sunday. Had good fun and workout. This place was on my bucket list for some time.
Must visit!
John Klein
This place had some of the most amazing street food outside. You can dance the night away and then get either Nathan's Famous, Halal, or tacos. The food options are legitimately outstanding and sometimes there are people here who are not from Australia. Mostly Australian and European people. Go here if you like to oonce it up on the weekend.
Kendra “Adorablekendra” Baby
The ambience was very nice the people were kind...it was just a little to over crowded for me.
Danny Boards
Really dope events . Nice venue amazing Artist and grate stage space and good price on drinks looking forward to project coming up in the Brooklyn , let's keep the unity between creative collaborations coming and let keep NYC entertained and keep the people having fun
Uriel Malnovitzer
Not conventional is the conversation here.
Not for everybody but if you like different creative experience from various talented people, this is the place for you.
I fell in love with this place.
Leala Hailey
I love HoY but tonight I brought my bf and brother for their first experience and I am surprised by the treatment I had with some staff. Mainly the coat-check ladies were mean to us from the beginning and treated us disrespectfully. They were not nice at all. I have worked coat check many times in other places and have never taken it upon myself to treat people so harshly unless it was warranted. This itself prompted me to leave sooner than I would have otherwise desired. Everyone else and the venue was wonderful. Thank you all-the rest of you- for your wonderful thoughtful and fun experience. Good morning
Tamika Shauntel
Great vibe, sexy, hot, and oily experiences to be had. A very hip place to get buck wild. Better than most Los Angeles clubs. If you're looking to go balls to the wall with excitement and high energy, this spot is for you. Very diverse crowd. So many styles of dress. So refreshing.
Rob Anderson
An eclectic club with two rooms and a patio. A lot of the parties will have a queer mix and house/disco music. A lot of great energy here.
Fabiano Daoud
One of my favorite places to let your hair down and dance.
Anime Freak
The House of Yes is quite literally the best place to get drunk or high. The lights, visuals and sounds are so entrancing and even the bathrooms are glamorous. You'll get lots of pictures and have lots of fun here.
Barry Burton
Sadly, I am able to give the rating only based on word of mouth from friends who have attended events at the location. But that word of mouth has been so consistently, and so strongly positive, that I venture to offer a five-star review - never having visited the place... As I am an inveterate nightclub habitue, and even more avid gatherer of information from friends and acquaintances on those topics which interest me - which certainly include nightclubs -I venture to offer the opinion - wholly unseen, as is incredibly unusual for me - that house of yes is one of the better clubs currently operating in the New York area .
Should anyone be interested in attending such a club with a non-drinking, overly loquacious, and well turned out - at least typically - fellow: please PM me.
Vino Thayalan
I recently visited this place with a couple of my friends during my visit to New York and I really enjoyed the vibes and energy of this place. In particular, I wanted to highlight my experience with a bouncer/security guard. Hue, one of the workers that night, took extremely good care of myself and a friend of mine that night. All the staff are extremely kind and caring, but Hue really made my night and went the extra mile to make my friend and I feel safe and cared for. If you want to have a good night at a place that values any and all types of people, this is the place!

I went on Halloween and it was lots of fun! They have great DJs that play music that gets you dancing all night long (I danced from 1am - 4am), the drinks are a $$ I had a cocktail for about $14, and the crowd is attractive! There usually is a cover fee, around $10 possibly higher depending on when you go, but it is a worth it scene to check out for clubbing and dancing in Brooklyn. They also have an intro to the rules of engagement and consenting to touch when you are in the dance floor which I think is great. Final note, definitely get up on the elevated stage behind the DJ cause that spot is exciting!
Irving Delgado
Awesome vibes and cool people. Best night club, by far.
Z G
Music is plain; place is tight; lighting is ok. Not recommend if you are a regular club goer.
Chris Ross
Imagine if Burning Man was an event space with a kinky split personality -- that's House of Yes! Every event is fun, themed, sexy, and self-aware. No matter who you are, there is something for you to resonate with. The House of Love events are especially fun for the sexy, expressive, and open individual. A place of no judgement, leave your inhibitions at the door... However they would prefer you keep the bjs in the b-room. ;)

LOVE IT!
Whether you want to socialize or just dance it off, try this place if you are around Brooklyn!
Jen Fraenkel
The perfect venue to let your freak flag fly. The bathrooms are fantastic and there is a heated semi outdoor smoking area for those who need it. Pick your party and enjoy. This place is always a win
Nic Byron
So much fun! They take the dress code just seriously enough to where everyone is on theme and it creates a fun atmosphere. The performers are great and the servers are nice.
Jason blake
I had a great time it was date night with the wife a surprise venue wasn't expecting the review but it was great even the guy that was doing the juggling it was basically a party I enjoyed myself immensely would recommend to anyone looking for something different to do in the city
chika dancer
Very friendly people, fantastic and cute place
Roman Iospa
The place gets packed. Fun atmosphere, music, performances and good drinks.
Christopher Nickelson
Imagine an artist's brain exploding and all their ideas coming together to start a dance club. That's House of Yes. They have acrobatic performances and art installations, as you dance the night away among an eccentric and diverse crowd. Costumes are mandatory.
Destiny Pezzolla
New Years Eve part TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY if you're on the fence about the cost just do it you wont regret it
Lishelle Moore
Good spot...An acquired taste, but not worth $35. If you're new to this venue, the regulars RSVP for all the free Eventbrite tickets, so newcomers don't have the opportunity to try the club out before indulging in the atmosphere.
N M
Amazing ambience, great music, a place to dance, have drinks and fun with friends!
Alfred Salem
How does such a great business allow such a horrible evil abusive manipulative human work for them at the beauty bar.
Rachel Brosman
Were you really in Bushwick if you didn’t go to House of Yes? Dress up, drink up, and dance. Buy tickets ahead of time on Eventbrite and follow the theme. It’s worth it. Bring a group of friends or go alone and you’re bound to meet some interesting people. Dance on the stage (without falling off). Watch the aerial performers. They’re amazing. And take in the fabulous decor. Maybe even hug the giant stuffed polar bear. Super LGBTQ friendly, but definitely not exclusively a gay bar.
Bill Wicker
I love this place! I've been going here for several years since they were at the previous location. I took some aerial lessons with Anya back then and I continue to go to their interesting and unique events.
Ryan Sweat
house of yes is so aptly named! It's anything goes, barely any rules. YES is the attitude that runs this place! Very cool open culture, lots of stimulation. Vibe can be hit or miss depending on the party, but when you hit it right, it's the best nightlife in NY!
M M
I had avoided going here for years because it had become...but, since the reopening (Aug 2021), the place has felt old school awesome. Love that they're back at it and in full swing.
2022 update: the back back room is my favorite spot now. 😍
Elizabeth Carpio
I love this place. The only thing is they need to manage better the capacity of people.
Antoniya Statelova
It was just... Yes ❤️ a great experience that is worth trying and exploring! Different crowds coming together to enjoy themselves, very fun and interesting experience 🎉 …
Jefferson Pierro
Amazing vibes, great amount of space to dance, even have a raised platform to strut your stuff and make you feel like a gogo dancer! 😁 They have multiple events throughout the week that will always make you want to come back wanting to dance even more! …
Gregory Kennedy
One of the best venues I've ever danced in. I go for the base beat and rhythm of the people and this palace got it 💯 …
Susanna Mostaghim
One of my favorite venues in NYC, you won’t find a place like this in many cities on the east coast. If you come on a Friday or Saturday you usually get to see the dance performances besides just coming to a fun place. I have never had a bad time at House of Yes and would recommend it to people who are open minded and like to have a good time. Before you even enter you have a consent talk, which I absolutely love.
Cabe Franklin
Reliable uplifting vibe every time we go - one of the very best places in NY (or anywhere). You’ll have more fun the more that you dress yourselves up and then tell others you love what they’re wearing.

The venue and music was amazing. Staff was friendly. Very progressive atmosphere. I would give it 5 stars, my night there was great. But I was very disappointed upon arrival, during ID checks I was given a very hard time by the management, the outdoor bouncer and manager must not know what an out of state ID looks like. That's something reviewed during the training process for all employees/staff is to become familiar with both NY and other state IDs. They probably thought it was fake because my partner who entered before me has the pandemic issued temporary state ID with black and yellow (nj) mine was a 2019 issued license (nj) with out the black line saying "FOR ID ONLY". I was asked every question under the sun, my ID was inspected by multiple folks, just invest in an ID scanner then guys like seriously. Besides that interaction it was fine, but uncomfortable the same bouncer and manager followed me around often, I understand management is entitled to decisions about their establishment but no one in my group had done anything wrong, I hope it's a misunderstanding and doesn't happen again if I choose to go back.
NectarStrokes
This place is magical, if you're looking for a different experience from the rest of NYC nightlife, this is the place to go for sure. It is like a mini theatrical, circus in Brooklyn. Nothing in the city comes even close to this venue. A place for the unique and creative.
IZA VALLEJO
Fav venue!! Every detail it’s just so fabulous. The music always nice, House or disco and it’s on my block what else can I say.
Gustavo Duarte
Good show bizz atmosphere. The music was amazing, good combination of EDM with modern and old cover songs. The DJ had an amazing vibe. The place was not packed, you could walk freely and lively. The venue is right by the subway and there is the great artichoke pizza next door for your 4AM snack.
Lili Blumenberg
I have always had an unbelievable time here. The people who run this place are extremely talented at throwing just amazing parties. As long as you are respectful of everyone there, there is something for everyone there. My favorite is the professional dancers, I could watch them forever.
M Alexander
I absolutely love it here. Grab a drink, make friends in the bathroom and dance your a** off! Oh, and ALWAYS take a picture with the polar bear! Xoxo
Marie R
I attended my first event at house of yes last saturday night. A theme party "Casino Royal". I enjoyed the party, the music, the atmosphere, the performance, and the fact that everybody has to fit in the theme! I'll try other event for sure
Nany Wilson
Super fun place. Check out the many events that happen here every week, they're fantastic.
Philip Bradley
The hype is real and you’ll have an incredible night if you commit to dressing up with the theme and check your ego at the door. Easy to come with groups or even down to solo. Buy your tickets in advance, COMMIT TO YOUR LOOK, and be ready to dance. The vibe does vary with the themes pretty significantly, but I won’t tell which events are best to keep the tourists at bay. HOY you have a special place in my heart for your many years of service to the neighborhood.
gerald cade
Too packed. Can't dance. Great space though.
Timothy McDaniel
If you want to have a good time that's the place to go I had a great time it was all that
Arthika K
Love the aesthetics of this venue! Drink prices are as expected and the tipping is a minimum of 20% or more, or No Tip. Would've loved a custom tip option.
Bryce Payne
The best! Always have a great time here... Be sure to look at their schedule in advance and RSVP/buy tickets for the things you're interested in. Nothing worse than waiting outside once they've hit capacity, and it's not the hugest space, but they're usually pretty good about warning you when you'd be better to show up early. Great shows, great drinks, great space. Love it.
Fizz Ahmed
Happiest place on earth. No question. No competition.
Konstantine Svanidze
Babe, just get that tattoo, your parents are already disappointed in you😀🙈
Thanks for unforgettable memories 🥰 …

High energy dance club with classic cocktails and house cocktails. Themed nights and neutral bathrooms, great atmosphere to be your true authentic self.
Joe Hayes
Went for Dirty Circus - great show, talented performers, and laughs all around. Well worth the cost of admission. Will definitely return in the future with out of town friends.
Kelly Gonsalves
So much fun.... Great show and great staff
Reginald Halstrom
Check reservations and pretentiousness at the door. Go in, find your vibe and enjoy yourself. If you don’t have a good time here, I don’t know how to help you
Lianne Barney
Cool vibes but the DJs here are trash :(
Priscilla Dela Cuesta
People were super nice welcoming
Just a great vibe!

This place is a wet dream for party people. It's very unique place to party hard , this is the place for you.
If you won't buy tickets online, you will wait a lot of time in line to get in.
Sarah Rivera
Love this place for so many reasons! Especially this past Cinco de Mayo party where they had some amazing djs and the local bushwick band Milagro Verde😍 I can't wait to go back, love the venue, events and staff here! …
David Galarza
Dirty Circus was amazing!! So entertaining! The entire staff was amazing. Everyone that works there is so nice! even the security personnel. I cannot and will not stop raving about this place!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dani Sanford
I've been here several times. Their theme parties are amazing and the drinks are great. Also, the bathroom is bedazzled!
Chris Dela Cruz
Good vibes. Partially outdoor section for smokers.
Justin Hayworth
The best club in NYC. Actually it’s probably the best club in the world.
A creative tour de force! All parties have themes (which rotate classics with seasonal ideas) and you have to dress in kind for entry. Which means all the party guests are aligned on the vision to have fun. YES!
The club does an excellent job promoting a safe and inclusive space, with many staffing intertwined with patrons to ensure no harassment occurs. The result is a magical wonderland of relaxed inhibitions and blissful peace & love.
If you are a square, don’t bother going. House if Yes is for the misfits, the freaks, the non-conformists, and above all, the non-judgmental. The parties are second to none.
I’m so happy they seem to have survived COVID and cannot wait to attend the reopening!!
No photos to add because of the club’s policy, but check out their official gallery. Or go experience the magic for yourself!!
Prabhu Vonti
Had a blast at this place. lively good crowd , good entertainment, face paint, on stage performance etc.
Dj Timeless
Great bunch of crowd and excellent house music and overall great experience and a great night
Rachel Rodin
The dancers were amazing, the venue was nice, and the drinks were pretty good. However, the music wasn’t my speed and I expected more from their special Saturday event
Christopher Adams
Update: Boosting review to 4 stars based on owner response. Bar tenders are friendly and professional, but should tell patrons where to get the free water in addition to selling the canned water. Owner reply was patient and kind.
Guys, I would have given you a 5 except... when people ask for water, you try to sell them canned water. No. Just... no. I'm not hurting for money, but on principle... no. You don't charge people who have been drinking alcohol for water. Because... it's WATER. It's essential for human existence. Don't wreck your reputation for tolerance and acceptance by charging people for... again... water.
Samy Ravs
One of the dopest music venues in NYC. Come for the vibes, stay for the people
Scott Franklin
For a place that says they value all lifestyles they don't seem to follow through. I touched a man on his shoulder to ask if he wanted a drink who flipped out on me to the point I felt unsafe. I let security know and they told me I shouldn't have touched him without consent. Consent is important. Touching someone on the shoulder to ask for consent should be ok. I feel so let down by this bar.
Matthew “M” Avant
If you've ever seen a 90s movie with the protagonists and or villain having a very serious conversation on a balcony above some sort of weird raucous rave, and thought wow, where are bars like THAT? In NYC, House of Yes is the answer.
Edited 2022: Also, there's a "secret" hot tub.
Lily Carrillo
My experience was 🔥 awesome show, music and people …
Nola Darling
My favorite nightclub in the city and I've never found another nightclub that compares. I love that it's woman-owned, queer-friendly, and comes with house rules that you have to consent to before attending. The themed nights are always a great time, the artistry and performers are always top-notch and the drinks are delicious. I've never felt safer in a bar or club as I have in HOY. The space is beautifully curated and the bathrooms are absolutely gorgeous! (IYKYK)
James Ogden II
The most inclusive environment! Not only does this place include rules of consent, they have someone to explain these human rights to each person as they enter the establishment. I've never felt more comfortable.
Cecil Guy
Oh what an experience. It's like no other. Danced so much I was giddy.
Shaya Klechevsky
This venue location always has the best events and parties. Resident performers and drag queens ensure that every event is entertaining and a lot of fun. Very inclusive space, and generally great vibes. Never have gone to a party here that wasn't AMAZING and tons of fun! Highly recommend going!
Samantha Colon
I went for my birthday to the amateur burlesque show and it was amazing! The staff is so lovey and full of energy. There was nothing but positive vibes and great laughs. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who’s looking to have a great time alone or with friends. Overall, it was a memorable experience and I will be visiting again very soon. Stay fabulous House of Yes!
Dmitriy Ark
A very cool place. There is plenty of indoor space plus outdoor area where you can cool down. Three very efficiently run bars supply patrona with plenty of drinks. Amazing acrobatic acts in the main room as well as really cool raised dance floors and go go dancers. Overall a fun experience. Be prepared to pay a $40 cover charge. But in my opinion it was worth it especially since drinks were normally priced for New York City. Plus the entertainment was worth the price.
Christian Rathbone
Always a great atmosphere and top notch house music beats. Staff is friendly and drinks are a fair price for NYC. We always have a great time and will continue to go back.
Lorenzo Bizzi
Very funny place. Good music and good people!
A Zavgorod
Omg, words can’t even explain how much fun it is. Firstly, the dancing 💃🏼 is always 🔥, love the combined outdoor area and when there was? A hot tube outside. All together there are three different rooms with dj’s, a coat check and disco restrooms. It’s unforgettable. …

My friend Michael T hosted Night of 1,000 Bowies.
Ana G.S.
Can't describe it, you have to come to one of their parties or shows
Tim
Love this place. It’s a hipster/burner/alternative paradise. Amazing crowd, tons of fun and energy. They DO enforce their dress code and consent rules so be respectful.
Always check their calendar and it’s a very good idea (and often required) to buy tickets ahead of time. Prices vary from free to 40-50 and sometimes more for special events. In return you’ll see everything from circus performers, bondage artists and fire eaters, burlesque, and more depending on the night.
Feodor Dolgov
Pretty sick venue, decently priced drinks, however the Halloween event was a bit meh
Tania Tavira
As a single lady wanting to dance the night away without the creepy dude breathing down my neck, this place is fantastic. I love this place so much!!
Janishia Jones
Sad I waited so long to experience this place! Unlike any other place I've ever been!
Kate Leen
Love HOUSE OF YES. Every club should be like this. Everyone is welcome, the vibe is great !! The shows are beautiful. I’ve been going there for years 🎊🌼💖 …

We love this place. Music is always good and the staff is super friendly

House of Yes is the best club in New York City! So much fun, everyone always get really into the theme. It's a blast to dress up and just enjoy the night. They have lots of different events too. The space is really cool as well. Would recommend anyone who enjoys dancing go here.

I am from India and I Know that you had a good service but when I heard the news in morning I felt very shocked becoz America is Rich in culture but hurting the other religions and there culture is not a way.The way you painted in toilet with our God is extremely bad infact you are destroying the relationship between USA and India.kindly try to remove as Soon as possible. Andrea Romanowski
Friend and I went on a Saturday night. It had great music, beautiful dancers, gorgeous decor, and overall a really chill place. The only thing is I didn't see security standing around to talk to about men following us around (which is unfortunately too common in NYC). But overall I would recommend
E C
Came here for "Dirty Circus" and had a blast. Doors opened at 7 but show didn't start till 8:30PM. Small venue so all seats have decent views.
Tips: get early to line up at the interior entrance. VIPs get to be seated first. Try to sit by the isle for the best view of the show.
N K R
My boyfriend and I attended the Discotechnique night this past weekend and had a blast! I really love that the club encourages dressing according to the theme. Any reason to dress in costume is appealing to me. If you’re ever in New York and are looking for a great party, this is the place to be.
Brice Penven
Had an awesome experience there. Will go back asap.
Pieter Pretorius
The best nightlife experience I have had all the other queer clubs have been more fabricated. House of Yes is very lively funky goofy and very Colorful. I saw many hetero males with their partners there to it was that chill.
Johnattan Lozado
Very nice and inclusive place to just vibe. Halloween party was lit af. Had a ton of fun coming out of state to such a vibrant club, the performers were gr8
Andrew Elvir
House of yes is a fun place with mostly friendly staff! Many bottles are definitely over price for it being Brooklyn. But the atmosphere is great. Follow ups are always nice but events should be specifically labeled as such. I went to an event not knowing it was specifically a gay event and did not want to leave abruptly. It was a fun party just not my scene. These things should be pointed out at the door.
Zack Hunter
This place is amazing. They make the rules very clear about what behavior is expected and required, and that you will get thrown out if you misbehave. The place is clean, as clean as can be expected when people are spilling things which happens in a crowded place. The crowd was amazingly polite, and the best thing is they have a FREE water fountain which they tell you about and expect you to stay hydrated. The mixed drinks are reasonable, and well made.
Scott Fialo
It goes crazy in there! Drinks were a little pricey though
黃羿綺
It’s super nice and we had a blast. I’m not a club/night life person but this place makes me feel safe. Thank you to everyone that keeps the space the way it is. ❤️
Aenne Brielmann
What a wonderful place to dance, drink, watch, get mesmerized, and just be whoever or whatever you want to be that night! At House of Yes, the air is filled with glitter and music. A true piece of the heart of Brooklyn. Great spot for queer and non- mono-heteronormative folks. The music varies but is usually more than danceable. Dressing up is often mandatory.
claudia ungarelli
Incredible shows. Great venue.
Tzvi Wertenteil
Wild place. Don’t skip the taco truck outside 🌯🌮 …
Angel Alicea
A little disappointed from all the great reviews I've read. Went there for the disco theme party and expected to hear great music from the disco era. But, all we got was House/EDM music.
Ioannis Agadakos
NYC spirit in a box. This is the place you want to visit to feel the diversity, craziness, party and non discrimination essence of NYC. Put your good, funky, crazy, sparkling clothes and go. Just remember that this place has a strong consent and non discrimination policy. I love it and always have a good time there. Usually there is a ticket ~25$ or more. Usually every Monday they give some tickets free online but they go fast so be fast ;)
Edward Folse
This was absolutely the coolest club we've ever been to. The staff was very welcoming. We chatted with several party goers and each person was interesting and fun to talk to. We had a great time dancing to excellent music and loved watching the go go dancers......there was something for everyone.
Damian Ferrai
Great atmosphere, fantastic for practicing dance moves. Don't expect it to be posh, and be prepared to see anything happen.
Yes!
Shelby Veazey
This is such an amazing spot. The parties are well orchestrated and can get pretty insane- the drinks aren't too expensive, and the decor is... well... VERY House of Yes. Sparkly, playful, fun. This is a really fun "burning man" vibe place.
They also host other events- they just had one for Earth Day supporting renewable energy, local businesses, and reducing their carbon footprint. They're dedicated to their community and making the world a better place.
Go to house of yes for the fun, but leave knowing you supported a business that is green and committed to the planet.
Erjun Peng
My favorite club in NYC! Love the vibe inside, chill and not that many creepy guys who just come for girls here. Feel super safe with my female friends every time we came. People really dress up for the events here, came during the gay night and tropical theme night, both impressive!! Love the shows, music and lightnings in the club also~ and the drinks taste good compared to most of Manhattan clubs
Roger H
Great atmosphere, the staff put a lot of emphasis on fun and it shows. Arrive early (before 11) or it will be tough getting in.
Tony Costello
From all the great reviews the atmosphere and the DJ was amazing good music the drinks are okay little pricey but you will have fun the policy consent rules really helps.
Z Lewis
Best venue in Brooklyn! Always a good vibe, tasty drinks and free water available at the bar. Parties are always fun, whether paid or free. Great music - if you’re looking for a spot to dance all night this is it! They need more bathrooms though - only about 3 stalls (plus urinals) for quite a large venue. Queer friendly/ very welcoming space. Bouncers are chill but still create a safe space.
Although I love HOY they don’t serve any food and some nights there’s no re-entry. Luckily there are great options nearby for after the party.
Harshavardhan Shirolkar
Great night club with great music, usually hosts three different theme parties in three sections. A bit expensive considering the cover charge, but it's totally worth it. Mind blowing performances by local performers. Bar has limited cocktail and beer options, there is no food available. They can also improve the number of restrooms so that there will be smaller lines.
Overall had a great experience at house if yes, will definitely visit again. If planning ahead of time, would recommend registering online for the events.
Natacha Dupuis
All around fun, open and friendly bar. It’s a must!
Dani Thompson
House of Yes has always been a magical place, but I was truly surprised by the magic they created for a corporate event that I planned. The space was fantastic, bartenders were friendly and quick, the door (Crimson) was courteous and attentive. The performances were top notch, and the production team really did a great job of helping us realize our theme. I highly recommend, not just for a whimsical time, but for corporate events too!
Ankita Roy
Awesome experience. But over crowded
Adry k
This is how a night club should look like. This place is amazing. The DJs are so good and the shows are spectacular. I love it!
Cynthia J
I'm getting older so hitting the same club scene at the Meatpacking district is becoming mundane. Plus, I want to find a fun night club where I don't have to get too dressed up to the nines. House of Yes offers something different.
It attracts a unique crowd. It is ethnically diverse. It has a huge LGBTQ following. The music is great and has an eclectic decorum. During the day I believe it's a restaurant, but at night it is a club.
There is 3 sections: the main stage area, outdoor patio, and indoor dining area (turns to a dance floor at night). All three sections have a bar. Unlike other clubs there is no strict dress code; you can come in as you are. The more different the better. I've seen people come in with full on body paint and colorful wigs.
Drinks are expensive but strong. Bartender can make a stronger if you ask politely. The lines are usually long so get there early.
Stephen Diesel
Fun energy, lots of dancing. Door was a little pricey the night I went out. Looking forward to going back either way!
LOV “B”
This has got to be one of the best venues in the whole entire city. It brings sexy mixed with cutting edge, occult ritualistic feel mixed with your neighborhood bar. The shows are always done by top notch performers from around the world, and every show is usually followed by a kick ass dance party WITH the performers and it's all love everyone getting down..and all that for a very inexpensive ticket. Check this place out if you haven't you won't be disappointed!
Alex Adams
The space is pretty incredible, but you can't get in for less than $45 without buying tickets in advance. That would be fine if not for the atmosphere of the people inside. Because they just sell tickets to whoever, there is not much of a shared feeling among the people who go inside. That said, it is a pretty cool performance and a visually engaging site. 3 stars.
Kurt Beyer
Amazing spot. Me and some friends went when they had a circus-themed night and I ended up staying until closing. The party was wild and fun and the crowd was very lively and welcoming. They were serving some pretty awesome sangria at the various bars throughout the venue too.
There were fire-breathers, some kind of ribbon dancing show, and more. I slipped like 5 times on the dance floor because it got pretty wet from sloshing beverages, but the bruises were just a reminder that I had an awesome time. I highly recommend.
Tujuana Smithen
I went to the House of Yes to see a show called "Slumber". The space is great for a party but a bit small for a show. You had to turn around and kind of break your neck to see what the actors were doing behind you. The show itself was amazing. Contortionists, great dancing, aerial acrobatics, audience interaction. It was great. The bathrooms are covered in mirrors that made me a bit dizzy but even that was pretty cool. There are three bars, a smoking outdoor area inside the club, a hot tub, and a back room where people can hold classes for whatever they like. I'm interested to see what other cool events will be held here.
Eitan Elul
Really fun and exciting spot here. A lot of cool and interesting people from all walks of life come here. As you come in it’s free for men and women usually and drinks are reasonably priced. They have performers. And work
Christie Bowers
Went on Sat the 15th and it was awesome! Best club I have ever been to. Open to everyone and kept clean with good drinks. The other patrons were very friendly and welcoming. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often!!
John Schefer
What a place! So awesome in so many ways!
Harron James
This place is what Brooklyn is all about. I went on a 90's night and it was a blast. Young and old just having a party. It was nice place to just get down. I love the vibe of this place. I would totally go again. I think my only one question is wish that on entry there was more searching of contraband. This is such a fun atmosphere that would hate to see it tainted my an idiot. If you are looking for a place to dance and let your hair down without fear of being judged, then this is definitely the place for you. Will be back!!!
Zachary Schmahl
The venue is amazing and the performers are always exciting to watch. You definitely have to pick the right parties though... Some tend to attract a weird crowd and they definitely oversell the place from time to time and it gets very crowded! Wear a costume!!! It's not just encouraged, it's often mandatory.
Daveed Silva
Love this place. We come around once a month. Is much better during themed events, like queer night. It brings a friendlier crowd. Regular nights are still pretty good but it feels more like a standard club. There's a smoking area where is easy to chat with people, to take a break from the music or make new friends.
k k
Cool decor. Didn’t like the vibe the other night.
spice ham
House of yes is one of the most diverse venues in New York City. Consent is a huge which is an amazing. If you ever feel unsafe you can go to staff and they will immediately help you. They have unisex bathroom so it makes it easy to use the bathroom everyone is respectful in the environment for the most part is very chill. I definitely recommend going to the House of Yes and experiencing it for yourself
Christina G
Had a great time!! Such fun, fabulous, and kind people! My lipstick and valuables fell out of my purse when I was dancing, and someone returned it and it was saved for me at the DJ table! I’ve never lost and actually found something at a venue before!
Not to mention, the vibe and music were great! Will definitely be returning!
C Campbell
Spectacular showroom! I attended a Kat Cunning show. The sound was terrific. The room was tricked out to make use of two stages, a swing, a moon, and the wall (YES, the wall) for singing, dancing, and aerial performances. For this show, it was floor room only. The bar area was in the first room. After the show a second bar opened in the showroom. Even with a full house the bar staff didn't keep you waiting. There is a third space with some seating. I'm not sure if that area is open air in the nice weather. ID was required at the door.
P. Tepes
Wow! This place blowed my mind! I could say that after 6 years Living in NYC this could possibly be the best place to party on random Thursday… go and check it out!
Aleksandr Piterman
Best Brooklyn club I ever been to. Burning man atmosphere, nice opened people.
Tyson Edmunson
Came for the Dirty Circus show, and we'll never visit NYC without coming back! So much fun, super welcoming and safe space to be. I wish more bars cared about consent as much as House of Yes. Also, they have a self-service water station...why isn't that a thing in every bar??
Jacklyn Liu
If you don’t have a ticket, you aren’t let in till 1:30.
The vibe is definitely unique! I went during their Valentine’s Day event, and while interesting, wasn’t a big fan of the music. Didn’t feel like dancing music.
Will be interested in trying again to see if this place is more for the eyes or the ears
Veronica
A wild night is always to be had. The have amazing dancers, fun music, good drinks, and a welcoming, safe atmosphere. I love that they are explicit about consent and are there for people to have a good time all around. I would absolutely go back when I'm in Brooklyn again.
Tamau Roget
Never a dull moment! It's been a blast every time I've gone
Update June 2019
I haven't been in maybe almost a year as too much fun can be a bad thing. Just left the Mermaid Parade after party. Maybe it was just the night or the moon but I was quite bored after arriving when the party should have been just getting started but rather felt like it was over. More lit than I recall and not in the good way. My card was declined for some odd reason after using it maybe 10 minutes before. I alerted the bartender I was going to the ATM maybe a foot away as I know I have money and he treated me like a common criminal alerting the security to watch me! I was so angry I could hardly focus on his reasoning preferring to just focus on not reacting. I paid for the drink he assumed I was going to leave without paying for, drank it, and left! I'll give another shot at some point but I felt like it used to be a scene from Madonna's Erotica turned into a Shawn Mendez video which was so sweet I think I left with a tooth ache!! The female bartender's were so self preoccupied you'd have thought you were asking Giselle for a drink!!! Pretty doesn't mean better!!
cynthia lopez
The venue itself is so much fun. It has such a fun feel to it. The bathroom (well the female one at the very least) has multiple stalls, each one decorated differently (I swear I was mesmerised) there are no stairs here, there is coat check, two different rooms with two bars and a whole lot of fun. Would definitely go back.
Cle Nel
I was there visiting friends, we decided to check out an event that was being held at house of yes. Not to bad of a place. Liked the set up and stage. It has an open bar. I didn't see an area for food purchase. We got there in time for the catered services. It's surrounded by industrial buildings. Street parking only. We preferred going by uberpool. Enjoyed myself.
Iselda Gomez
Always an amazing 4!!!!! I am so happy they were able too devise a way for people to enjoy an evening out with friends. Especially with my most favorite DJ Remarkable!!!! It was so hard to stay in my seat but I appreciate YES for all that they have done!!!
Aniver Sizan
Great! Awesome place for a night out. Always have great events. Extremely friendly staff and a definite safe space for all.
Matthew Silva
Just saw my second show, the Christmas spectacular... As someone who doesn't live in NY, I can't imagine having such an amazing place to frequent.... I would be here all the time! I highly recommend grabbing tickets, if youre into raunchy and irrelevant good times, and feeling like your welcomed and included no matter who you are, this is the place for you. Can't say enough how much I love this place<3
Julia Kolesnyk
One of the best nightclubs in New York. For visitors - this is a place to go to! But make sure to buy your ticket ahead of time, especially if you're coming Saturday. The tickets sell out very quickly! But the show is totally worth it! If you have your tickets printed our, you won't have to wait in line with the others. If you come without a ticket - get ready to wait until 2 am, when they let people without tickets in.
Adil Raihani
Defenitely one of the better grilled Lobsters I have had in a long time! PERFECTLY Grilled and Juicy!
Solomon Yakubov
Absolutely no complaints about House of Yes. The music is constantly on point, with 3+ different rooms each with their own theme. The entertainment and themed parties are a fantastic twist on the NY party/dance scene. Two bars make the alcohol easily assessable and the prices aren't outrageous as well!
Omari
Great place with great vibes. If your trying to experience an alternative club, in comparison to places in meat packing this is a great option. Although they do offer table service tables are not the main focus like many other places in NYC. In addition they offer a bit of everything literally, so everyone should be able to find a scene that fits them. Drinks are also very good!
Konstantin Burla
Eclectic performances, visually striking with acrobatics, colors, and costumes. Come for the club parties or for the shows or both. You won't be disappointed. The bathrooms are a cool photo op spot too. Also, the email subscription subject lines are hilarious and off beat.
Neil Daftary
An incredibly fun, open, and welcoming venue to dance and meet people. I've been to shows and their House of Love and I haven't had a bad time. The staff is courteous, the music curation on point, and the crowd is great.
Michael Rodriguez
It's a nice venue with a great aesthetic and the staff are wonderful. Something about the vibe feels like making a zoo of alternative people for normies. While I enjoyed my time there it seemed far too crowded to dance or enjoy myself and it was difficult to put my finger on why this wonderful place seemed a bit off until I thought about it after leaving.
Kurt “KC” Christenson
The only place to dance in Outer Space! Great new location for this amazing troupe of performers, but wear your costumes or you won't get in! Drinks are pricey but the space is gorgeous.
Jennie Sulik
This has got to be one of the best nightclubs ever. Inclusive environment, amazing entertainment, and strict enforcement of costumes/dress all make for an incredibly fun time. Drinks are a bit pricey for Brooklyn, but if you rsvp soon enough, many events are free!
Adesoye Adeboye
Cool place to visit...lots of fun and entertainment
Jessica Chevalier
It's definitely a cool space decorated by an artist with an eye for the differently beautiful.
So here are my negative opinions... The floors are hard to walk on cuz there uneven, not something I usually care about but with this venue I try and get really glam and it makes it super hard to walk in my stilettos when there is literally 3 different floor types. The floors were also insanely sticky by the end of the night. And there needs to be a bathroom attendant the bathroom situation is ridiculous. It's a non gender specific bathrooms which is amazing with but people linger clogging up the line making it hard to move around. Like please people House of Yes is a safe place you don't have to hide in the bathrooms.
And you're my positive opinions...
The bathrooms though we're really beautiful. The hanging chains of pearls were my favorite attention to detail. The dancing on the stage and the mid room platform were cool. The outdoor area is amazing, wish it wasn't so cold when I was there. The beauty bar was one of my favorite things there. The people here also know how to use mirrors to their advantage which is something else I think is fabulous. and the aerial performance equipment it was really cool to watch them dance on it while I was there.
Overall the experience was wonderful for a new experience that being said I don't know if I would go back unless I was specifically for an aerial performance because the House of Yes is the only place I know where I can watch aerial performances. I just found that the crowd was a little rough the night I went it was hard to dance because there was so many people which made for a lot of pushing and shoving.
the House of Yes is a unique place and a unique experience worth every dollar every dime and every second of time that you spend there. But I don't know if I would go back there as a club typesetting unless it was for a very specific aerial performance.
remember these are just my opinions take everything you read here with a grain of salt and definitely try the House of Yes out at least once for yourself.
Adalina Aladro
Always unexpected experiences at the House of Yes and I love it! They are creative and original! Never had any problems with the personal, everybody is welcoming and nice!
Lance Gliser
The staff are great. Atmosphere is high energy. A solid place to dance and just enjoy.
Benjamin Knop
It is a blast. Definitely keep an eye on the bartenders who will take advantage of the drunk people and mark up your tips if you forget to finish at the register or custom price drinks. I watched it happen to a few people ahead of me who weren't paying attention. Other than that this place rocks.
Julie Anne Scheibeler
Great place. Mixed crowd always a great time
Coulter DeSimone
The most beautiful place to express your self
Alexie Cruz
Hit the 80s 90s party and it was great. The DJ played amazing music, people singing along to many, then intermittent drag shows throughout the night. I had a great night with my friends.
Jackie Moore
YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES! This is the gold standard of places. The bartenders are so great, the drinks are tasty. We went for a burlesque show, and it was amazing. The host was great. The talent of the performances was unparalleled. It was a fantasy. it was magic. the space inside is what dreams are made of, and the hyper-focus on consent and ensuring that everyone has a place in the House of YES makes it just amazing and incredible and everything.
boudiette charles
Can always come here an have no worries about anyone judging an feeling safe. The entertainment is priceless of the amount of time it takes for performers to have there skills. An been there multiple times an it can change a lot depending on the theme of the night. They have a lot of different themes they cycle through
Mr. Smith
Great venue hosting a variety of events from Burner parties, jazzy brunch, aerial/circus performances. This is what a venue should be about catering to a variety of tastes the staff is chill. This place does get packed especially later in the night(after 1 am). Most of the time I don't arrive their until after midnight. Bring your friends and prepare for a long night out.
M. Romanenko
A place to either see an odd show that makes you laugh or think. Or spend the evening dancing your socks off. Always a theme to play with that sparks creativity. I especially appreciate the dancers and acrobats that seem to always be giving it their all. Never had a bad night here and never bored coming back. Always a new look and/or theme.
Chase Springer
Hands down the BEST venue in NYC. I've been on both ends, production and attendee, and in both cases it's been the most seamless venue I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The staff has been at it for years and everything is super curated to making sure all attendees are comfortable and happy. I've had nothing but good experiences here and am pretty sure I will be going here at LEAST twice a month until I simply can't anymore!
Steph A. Cadena
Excellent music! Good vibes... love
Elizabeth and James Potter
A one-of-a kind venue that hosts a myriad of original events. Lots of glitter and skin. Large bar in the main dance room, and a quiet room, tucked away just off the coat check, to get away from the boom boom bass.
Boris P.
It was a fantastic time. Must go check it out. Packed house and was standing but didnt care cause it was fun. The music they play in between breaks is cool. The clown mc was hilarious and super funny. The decor is unique and vibrant. The bar has some kickazz drinks. The show ends and you can go to open space in front where you can sit and relax before the club opens.
Jesse Aiola
This is a really amazing place have a great night. There are awesome events during the week as well as weekends. Drink prices are very reasonable. Great music and atmosphere. It is a very welcoming environment. It's extremely inclusive and come as you are so check your judgements at the door.....or don't attend
gold link
One of the dopest clubs I have ever been to, the music is right and the people are amazing
Kate Varga
Best parties, best costumes! Favorite place to go for Halloween 👻 …
Ashley Sumons
A beautiful flurry of sites in sounds. It feels like how you would imagine your favorite place to be as a child and everything that clubbing should be. Would a 127% recommend to everyone to go at least once in their lifetime. The best thing you could do for yourself!!!
Robert Michael Jones
An amazing venue, an incredible environment of friendly people both staff and visitors. The Violinist DJ we saw blew our collective minds and those acrobats set the entertainment bar so high for anything else you can see in the city.
Noam Yan
A bit expensive ($40 just for entrance) but it is a happy house music, crazy in the right way.
Both stuff and clubbers were welcoming and the attitude was right.
Too bad all exists from club are final, would be back for more.
Cameron Finley
This community welcomed me in from the streets like a lost puppy. I love the creative and warm humans that power this wild fun train with all their spirit. This space shall exist in History alongside the Viper Room and Studio 54, and is so much more than just a venue. It's the beating heart of creative Brooklyn.
Geraldine Miranda
I am absolutely in love with this place. The vibe, the energy, the staff, the safely spaced out tables! The drinks are delicious, and on the weekends they host local vendors! Love it and can't wait to come back!
moshe klein
Love love love this good vibes here. Steer clear of the occasional tourists and you're guaranteed to have a good night. The music isn't the best and the sound system - nothing to write home about but the atmosphere more than makes up for it
mark gill
At 10.30 - 11pm this place is perfect and fun, friendly crowd and music already kicking. At 2pm they have jammed as many people in as possible to the point you cannot move let alone dance, everyone then just starts pushing around and certainly not the friendly place it is at 11pm.
Carl-Johan Nilsson
One of the best clubs I've ever been to. The staff made it an awesome experience and there is just so many details about this place I liked and I'm not really a guy that goes to clubbing anymore. If you ever go to Bushwick, this is the place you really should experience.
Morgan Williams
Very cool place. Different and entertaining. A few more black ppl could provide better dance moves. Went for a variety show and I LOVED the burlesque but the magician was very amateur. Aerialists were pretty cool
Chelsea Long
Yeasssssssssss! Haven’t you heard of this place by now? Come on!! It’s so much fun. My friends had a hang up about it because of the long line on a Saturday night, but we went to another local spot for an hour, came back, and no line and the party was (obviously) still raging. Every night here is a magical mystery blast. Don’t come if you’re not LGBT friendly (mostly because I don’t like you and don’t want you to have a good time).
Fabian Wo
Hands down the best club in NYC. Thank you guys for creating this uniquely crazy and welcoming atmosphere. Make sure you see the show before the party!
Janice Brooks
Venue gets crowded, however people move through cramped space peacefully. The music and atmosphere is appealing. Here is a non judgemental so you will find something for everyone there no matter your age, gender, where you from or what you represent. You are guaranteed to have a good time and meet interesting people.
Adam
YASSSSSSS!!! please check out this place. It is by far, one of my favorite clubs in the area. Very good atmosphere, multiple bars and rooms, and super welcoming to all groups! If you have issues with drag, or the LBGTQ community, please do us all a favor and swerve ✌
CANNOT WAIT FOR YOUR RE-OPEN! ❤❤
Sarah Fris
It’s always a delight. Totally original events with a team that can shock and surprise you in the best way, an open environment that welcomes everyone. Just don’t show up at 12pm without a costume for the theme of the night, you won’t get in.
Brian Ratajczak
Get ready for an experience. Feels like a Bungalow-like social community (with live performances, multiple bars, a hot tub, and vendors sampling products), but is much weirder and more memorable.
(Also, shout out to bartender Rob- Banana for winning the Top Banana Award on the fruit themed night).
S H
Cool air con. Hot people. Positive vibes. It's a market for trinkets during the day.
C P61
Yes! -terday has been one of the best times I had, in a long time. For the free block party.. The greatest. House, disco. R&B Electro. And more, music. Will never disappoint at this club venue period!!!!
Mayra
Smelled like wet dog literally upon walking in and it had just opened too so it wasn’t after a long night of people dancing and sweating. Other than that, pretty cool atmosphere and place. Music was good as were the drinks.
Keith Castellano
Great time on Thursday night for Madonna Rama for dirty Thursday! My first time attending with friends who have been many times. I had the absolute best time . Thank you guys for being the open and supportive lgbtg+ and above friendly . Your dj is amazing and decorations was spectacular and I will definitely be coming back and recommending to others ! Edit : just went to Hot mess on Wednesday night this past week ! 2ne time there now ! It was great I added photos
Barney Simon
This music venue has 2 rooms, the bar room, and the stage room. Our party had a cocktail hour in the bar with music provided by friends of the main act. Once the doors to the stage/dance floor, we expanded into the space, adorned with go-go cages and scaffolding balconies, and a second bar.
Victoria Romero
Had such a great time here for the amateur burlesque night. Beer selection was small but decent and was very happy with the service. The vibe was mad chill and the place was super welcoming. Will be coming back for more events!
Andreas Turanski
Dancing, music, costumes, and ... GLITTER! Probably the best place in NYC for dancing and often performances just about every single night plus many evenings and some afternoons too! Vibe is fairly young and bohemian with fanciful parties many of which require at least some level of costume. Glittery makeup welcome for almost every night. Some events are nicely touching toward the hedonistic-erotic!
Matthew R
I don't remember a whole lot about my experience at House of Yes. We showed up a little after 11 on a Saturday night and cover was $30!!!! If we weren't meeting friends we would have left for sure but I'm glad we stayed. Evidently you can get tickets online for discounted/free ahead of time. Drinks are a little pricey and watch out for the $4 bottles of water. The crowd was good as was the vibe and music. One thing I do remember is having a great time.
Palak Agarwal
Best ambience, music, drinks and atmosphere. Best nightclub I have ever been to!!
Jordan Dubost
THE best club in NYC. People are incredible, every party is an entire show with dancers, silk and rope shows... Costumes required, which is so much fun because EVERYBODY does it ! Music is always great, and drinks are not expensive ! Love it
Sam Ellameh
Great venu, two stages, three bars, had lots of fun met tons of cool people. Has a semi outdoor area where you can smoke. Also plenty of food options nearby once you have had your fill of booze and before going home.
Sixteen Firm
great times, good laughs, good music. Whats not to love.
Edgar Kimura
Very nice place to enjoy an evening in NY.
Check the schedule in their website before. There are days for every kind of entertainment.
Really enjoyable and full of life. Don’t miss the special events that are available on line. For some of them you have to book in advance even when they are free of charge.
If you are in NYC, don’t miss this place!
Chris Rogus
This is a critical hub for the more costume creative NYC dance scene. Lots of great outfits, and great music. Super cool space :)
Naomi Rhodes
Amazing amazing amazing! Great performance and dance music, you'll meet the best people here!
Omer Kalderon
Just go there! Absolutely the best place to be
Samantha Henry
Honestly rhis place was cool, we went on a theme night for ice and we went all dressed up but noone else did. Everyone was really messed up and noone was dancing, that was kind of disappointing. The music was also more deep house and I was expecting more oliver heldens kind of stuff. There were also straight guys casing the place for girls and that was really annoying because everytime my friend and I started dancing they would be all up in our space. I am Bi but I dont feel I have to pretend like my friend is my girlfriend just to get left alone. All in all its not the venue's fault they did a great job. I just think the word is getting out about this cool venue to people who probably shouldn't be there.
James Mc Cloy-Brooks
Absolutely the Best club in NYC.
Inclusive crowd.
Great shows, good DJ
Bar staff has a little attitude, which is completely unnecessary.
If pouring drinks and being personable is a problem, try another career.
Robert Burnett
Super fun good vibe club. Thursdays are free and always fun. Drinks aren't as expensive as Manhattan so that's nice as well as the sound system and lights are cool.
Allan Reid
Great last evening of our New York vacation, if you like burlesque, cabaret, nudity, are pro LGBT and love to have a good time, then che k out house of yes for one of their many shows/club nights.
Michelle B
Came out for the Miami Vice themed night. I thought they'd play 80s music but really it was just another day in the club, people didn't even really dress up so that was disappointing. My main reason for putting 4 stars is that they give you a good time but don't commit to the themes that get you there.
Order Studios
This place is different. The vibes good but the place is really run down. I don’t think I will
be back here. It’s kind of a mad max vibe with everything made from old junk, which is cool in a way. The music was also good. There is a lot of odd people that frequent this place so be prepared.
Claire Elise Stephens
Awesome spot for fun, creative events. Huge emphasis and priority and consent when buying tickets. In addition to encouraging costumes, amazing acrobatic acts throughout the night and surprisingly beautiful bathrooms
Michael Haley
All I want to say about this place is YES! So much beauty, so many vibes, utter inclusivity, and that means serving body, serving gender, serving face, serving LOVE! Thank you, House of Yes for the last night and many more to come.
Jhonny Chamoun
Very nice venue... And great parties
Vanessa Emile
Such A cute dance hall! I love the aesthetics.
kismet bey
This is the modern era "studio 54" ... Modern clubbing with some sort of burning man camp vibe. The drinks are somewhat expensive but tasty. The staff is kind. Front door security is standard.
But then you wander around and discover the "vibe" of the place... Surreal... A mix of a circus and a rave and the bourgeois of NYC. There is VIP area... A hot tub... The weekend has cirque du soleil style acts. Must be seen to understand.
The night we went there was German techno playing. Can't remember the name of the act but they have a world class sound system. The women are beautiful. The men are well dressed.
There are side shows inside as well. Bring a few friends or just sneak away and enjoy yourself. Leave your phone in the car...
This spot is much cleaner than other party spots in NYC... For those who remember the vibe is nothing like club EXIT...
Daniel CG
You know how Studio 54 has a reputation that lasted for years after they closed down? This ks the modern incarnation of that. You'll dance more, see more, find more weird, spots weird people, and weird hot-tubs in here than you would expect. Come with friends, make new ones, watch a group of dancers spinning above you as the dj plays well into the night
Emily Wong
Always a good time when I come here. Not for the ordinary Jane and Joe though, so definitely set your expectations. I came here for their first bingo fabulous night which turned out to be so much fun, so hopefully they will host it again.
Skyla Rayne
I've been to house of yes a few times, and I've never had an amazing experience.
It's really difficult to get a drink, my friends wallet got stolen and raided, and it tends to get really hot and sweaty. It's super close quarters since they sell a lot of tickets to each performance.
Agravier Thymaster Libertine
House of Yes is always fun & interesting been here a number of times, love the chill laidback vibe of this club, music is pretty good the random performances are always entertaining...I enjoy the Libertine vibe I get from this club which keeps bringing me back. Staff has always been helpful & nice.
Elliot Porter
Post apocalyptic scene from some crazy movie. the costumes and outfits that people wore were absolutely outrageous. The music was pumping, the bodies were sweating and dancing to the beats. Dancers swung from overhead. I'm not sure what the music was, it might have been trans. A little bit repetitive without the storyline of a normal song. But it was a lot of fun! Drinks were priced fairly, beers are around $7 and mixed drinks are $14. This is definitely a must-see!
Konrad Custer
Fav night party experience in the city
Romain Gautiez
Nice place for various parties and events. The atmosphere is "chic but cool", meaning you drink your beer on the can, unisex toilet, ...
Liked it !
Ps : on some occasion when an event is taking place, a reservation is a must and prices are going up ;)
Justin
Some sort of hipster concert hall mixed with a brunch place and a bar all at the same time. Low key, drinks were good. Brunch looked great but didn't get a chance to try it this trip.
Devashish Tyagi
A hip club in Bushwick. It's a little different from other clubs because of their strict themes. If you want to get in you should buy the tickets beforehand online. Inside it's pretty basic decor wise but it has an electrifying atmosphere.
Earl Richardson
Best venue ever. Check out my pictures on IG @be.brazen
John Cook
House of Yes shows a new and original idea of what a nightclub can be in 2020. The dancefloor room is nice and fairly big, bar area is ok and chill patio. Bathrooms are nice with no gender indication. And this should tell you the type of place, don’t be a square and you’ll enjoy as I did (totally straight). I suggest to check the type of event (on Eventbrite) and do buy ticket. I had the feeling of being overcharged at the door once. Still, I think this club is a must see in NY
Ken Donsky
very fun! tasty drinks and nice people, great atmosphere and decor. in brooklyn even the drag queens have thick hipster beards!
sean maze
First time going was for a Boiler Room event and was pleasantly surprised by the decore, layout, and fluidity of the place. Sexually identity didn't seem to matter as it catered to all who came. With a friendly staff and both male and female go go dancers along with one of the most unique concepts thats either a throw back to Manhattan's club past or a strongly independent push forward into a new way(wave) of venues to come in the always entertaining village of Bushwick.
David Blunk, II
The most creative, inclusive, invigorating performance venue / nightclub in all of 2018 NYC. A wonderful place for the fabulous, the weird, the glamorous--on any given night, you can hear some fantastic new dance music, see an awesome aerial performer or drag act, or revel in the burlesque, vaudeville and sideshow arts of yesteryear and tomorrow.
Terriell Glenn
Always a good vibe to help get out of your head
Brandon Haughton
The best night club that I went to in my entire life since the staff is very friendly and the security guards too. I would recommend it to everyone around New York State in general.
MICHAEL
its very recommended place to visit!!! great music all the time, famous worldwide djs and mcs, on the one very expansive sound system! lights are great too.... beat psychedelic of the best underground music scene club around new york city area. people prevent costumes here , dont forget
Tiago
Great music and great atmosphere. Cocktails are reasonably priced and they offer complimentary water
Victor Carpinelli
This place is crazy. If you’re ordinary, stay away! If you are open minded, go and have fun. The place is not fancy, but it is fun. I’ll see different people, enjoy some music and cage shows.
Daniel Villano
One of the best venues left, unpretentious, exciting, entertaining and not crowded. That being said the party's and nights difffer. Pick your genre of music and be prepared for one of your best nights in NYC hands down !
Jihene Serkhane
This is Home for All! If you want to find for yourself a Family, to have the space to be/become Fully the Highest version of You, this is the place where to be. Self-Expression, Creativity, Joy, Community and a Home for all Visionaries and Geniuses wherever you are from, whatever you look like, whoever you've known yourself to be, You are Limitless, this is a Community in which anything becomes possible For You!
Camila Heitz
Very eclectic. Shows are ok, although not sure if worth $20. The place is where you go maybe once, drinks are quite low quality and expensive for what they are. Would not repeat but quite a unique experience.
Boris Portnov
They know how to throw a great party
Stephen Elliot
Who doesn't love House of Yes! There lineup of events is top notch, there's a place to smoke and do drugs if you're into that, and the main stage is more exciting than most. Only thing I don't like about it is the location.
Dain Evans
Very fun! They have great parties, some are more crowded than others, and you have to get tickets well in advanced, or else they're super expensive. If you get them right when they go on sale, they're free. I would recommend it!
Jenni Lee
Can't wait for them to open off the Jefferson stop!
One of my favorite places, ever! I have had some of the best times of my life in the old venue. Can't wait to see the new spot and some new shows!
Madhav Patel
The best night out I've had in all of NYC, ever. Bring Glitterbox back more often!
Madonna
I went for vogue night and had the best time of my life. The ppl were awesome venue was on point drinks were hitting and bathrooms were always available. In really loved the location.
Basheer Bergus
One of the best venues in NY. Promotes a culture of consent and allows people to be themselves and explore SAFELY. The entire staff works hard to keep it fun and safe and the aerial dancers are pretty surreal
rafael .monzon
I actually didn't visit I drive for Uber and I pick up and drop off pretty often. It's a unique experience as people dress up in costume to party. It is a very popular place in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn.
Saori Andrea
One of the best and most unique places you can find yourself in NYC/Brooklyn! It is a Burning Man space. Respect that. Go with an open mind. Unleash your weird. Do not: dress as you would a club, this is not the place for that. Enjoy and support local artists, watch aerial and flow arts performers. Be mesmerised.
ian McGunit
The artistic heart beat of NY is still pumping strong at the new House of Yes and it's Liscenced! I was astounded to see how far they've come from there dingy warehouse days. We went to a big dance party ($25 tix) but was free if you rsvp'd and arrived before 11. So they're helping out the true party kids. Amazing sound in the front and main rooms, amazing huge stage with hanging acrobatic features and projections. There were several animal costumed characters who did performances on stage and in the air. DJs were on point, house vibes in the front, more hype electronic beats in the back, not too EDM thank god. Two large bars in the front and back, short wait, drinks were a little on the pricey side ($9 for well mix drink, $7 beers). But They have to pay for their higher rent somehow.
Bonus: most amazing bathrooms I've seen anywhere, note the crawl/chill space in women's bano.
Rachael Zwoboda
This place is a slice if burner culture for those who don't want a full week covered in dust. The free before eleven Tix are awesome mo ey savers, but the drinks are pricey. th sexy areal performance rmances are abundant and amazing, and th music is diverse and eclectic. It welcomes people from all walks of life, but can be exclusionary if you aren't dressed up highly costumed.
Ethan Minette
I went on a disco Thursday. Super dope
McManus Tre
Amazing cabaret shows and cirucs theater. Club nights are pretty crowded so come early. Falafel is great, brunch is fun if your still partying after after hours.
Tina Sookdeo
Aucha cool non judgement environment. Lots of culture and diversity. Had a blast!
Kristina R. Ray
Amazing artwork, installation atmosphere and crew! Place to go!
Bayla Bryski
I went to a Purim party here and it was the most fun I've had in a looong time! Wonderful party space, friendly staff and good drinks. The vibe was weird, fun and energetic. Highly recommend.
Leatrice Whitney
Oshun and Latasha gave amazing performances for The Hum series. I was so impressed with the sound system as week as their artistry and lyrical abilities. I can't wait to see the each of them perform again!
Sabina Smajlaj
One of the best venues in NYC
Jen Jurewicz
If you're looking for somewhere to wear sequins and glitter and dance, look no further. The House of Yes is for you. It's worth the cost, but don't expect to get home until 4 or 5 am!
Ian James Roberts
A feast for the eyes and ears. A superbly talented group of souls. Highly recommended!
Robin Walker
Fabulous music!! The DJ rocks! Also it's a wonderland of beautiful people and free expression. Total package if you're looking for a getaway.
Stephanie Rivas
Its a weird and funky place. The staff from the ticket booth down to the bartender weren't very welcoming and had additudes. I went to one of their shows and it was good. I didnt stay for the after party though.
Bronwyn Harris
I've been going here since 2016 and each event has been unique and exciting. I always try to take NYC visitors to House of Yes because it's such a vibrant and memorable experience.
Theresa Giovinni
Fun place to visit, especially when you’re dating an alcoholic drug addict.
Tatyana Davydov
We went to the club last night with my girlfriend. I was shocked that NY has such a place. I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else! This place is so cool and friendly. I loved everything about it

Very different and interesting venue, mainly House music, colorful bright and vibrant, diversity and positive vibes around, drinks are priced similarly to this area which personally to me is pretty expensive but nothing more than Bushwick's standard, free water which is absolutely the best thing a nightclub can do to show respect and care towards it's guests especially in this drug infused scene which we love so much, if you visit NY and you are into electronic music or just partying this is a must see place for you, very social atmosphere with separate open air smoking area always full of people who are ready to chat.

Why haven't I visited sooner?! The space is beautiful from the entrance to the bathrooms to the actual music space. Seating in the back if you get there early enough. Such a great spot!
