I got married in September 2022 at Riverfront Events and it was absolutely a MOVIE! Our guests had an amazing time. Working with the entire staff made my experience so much better. I planned my whole wedding and Yassmin & Val made sure that I didn't stress about anything the weekend of! Kelli was my bridal attendant and she made sure I had everything I needed while also being entertaining to my guests 😍 The family environment and beautiful setups are what made everything so special. My guests are also still talking about how wonderful the food was! The wedding was so great we tried to plan a one year anniversary party just to do it all again but the weekend was already booked 😂 However we will be back for a vow renewal! Thank you all for doing such a beautiful job. I love to see the Riverfront being shown in such a positive light!

We attended Riverfront Events for a family wedding. The building is beautiful. The staff was friendly and constantly walked around serving us hors d'oeuvres.. There were several drink stations set up for us to get drinks. The decorations were amazing as well as the food served during the wedding. The outside overlooks the river and city skyline which is amazing. I truly enjoyed the venue for my Cousin's wedding. Riverfront Events did an excellent job.

I had my wedding at Riverfront Events on 11/6/21. Everything was AMAZING!!!!! Myself and all the guests were so impressed. The cocktails were incredible - we actually ran the bar dry of tequila because the guests couldn't get enough of the spicy Margarita we chose for one of our specialty cocktails!!!! From the delicious food, to the beautiful space, to the amazing staff. It was everything I dreamed my wedding would be. I have food allergies and Yassmin worked closely with the chef to make sure there would be dishes that I could have, which I so greatly appreciated. Yassmin and Tori were an absolute PLEASURE to work with. They were so accommodating and I knew I could trust them completely with handling everything on our special day. I had many special little requests and they made it all happen while working with the other vendors, including the florist, DJ, and my day of coordinator. We had our ceremony indoors and it was incredible how quickly they turned the space around and had it ready for the reception. I could go on and on!!!!! If you are looking for a place to hold a special event, Riverfront events is it! Thank you again Yassmin, Tori, and all the staff at Riverfront events! You guys are theeee best! xoxoxo

I had such a wonderful experience planning and hosting an event for one of my clients at the Riverfront. The event staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and made the entire process from early inquiring to onsite execution absolutely seamless. Yassmin and Val were such a pleasure to work with and Michael cooked up some delicious food for our guests. The venue itself is so beautiful and spacious and was well equipped with everything we needed for a successful event. I will definitely come back to Riverfront Events at the next opportunity I get!

Beautiful venue, cheerful/friendly Staff, and DELICIOUS FOOD! Went here for a friend's 50th birthday celebration and was NOT disappointed! The ballroom was beautiful and spacious. Made for a perfect experience. Will definitely book this place for my own event. A+ for EVERYTHING.

We recently hosted our parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary at the Riverfront Events Center and I cannot tell you how many guest raved about the venue and the evening. Yassmin Zahran (Event Manager), who was our main contact in planning, was on top of every detail and concern we had. Every special request (moving some seating into the cocktail area for older guests, vegetarian options, and accommodating diabetic guests and citrus allergies) was handled seamlessly and with great care. The recommended vendor list made finding a cake and florist a breeze, even with planning from out of state. The team who helped us the night of our event, led by the Event Coordinator, Val Howell, and Event Captain, Tina Zahran, were knowledgable, attentive and so helpful. The bartender, David Poppiti, was swift and friendly. And, to save (perhaps) the best for last? The food (a HUGE thank you to Chef Michael Sheridan). Guests absolutely *raved* about the food- especially the cocktail bites. With such a variety of tasty morsels to choose from, it was easy to create a menu that could please the entire party (hard to say which were the faves but the Soy-Ginger Beef Tenderloin & Mango Skewers, the Baked Brie & Raspberry Bites and the Bacon Wrapped Scallops were definitely raved about!). The cocktail bites, our seated meals, and desserts were all amazing. We loved our evening and the space was absolutely perfect for our event- even accommodating our photo montage video on the tvs during our cocktail hour. Thank you, all, so much for helping us build such wonderful memories!

This venue was amazing. They handled everything and even were able to seamlessly adapt to last minute storms to bring our event inside. We could not have asked for a better venue or a nicer staff. Yassmin, Austin, Tina, and Val were with us every step of the way on our wedding day, taking care of everything. And Chef Mike made food that people could not stop talking about. We have always heard from people that got married that they didnt get to eat or drink anything during their wedding, but the team made sure we could enjoy the amazing food that we choose. The decorations and set up exceeded our expectations. They made the entire process so much less stressful. We will be recommending them to everyone we know

This is a wonderful alternative to other banquet facilities at the Wilmington waterfront. I found the location easy to find. The device was good and the food also. I hope some smaller events end up here.

I celebrated my husband's surprise birthday party May 2022. The entire process was very smooth. Yassmin the Event Manager was very professional and always ready to answer questions or concerns. I was able to customize the menu because they were very flexible and I must say very organized. On the day of the event, the entire team was constantly checking in to make sure everything was in place. Our friends and family cannot stop talking about how great the food was and how organized the event was. We would like to thank the entire team for their stellar service. Our company hosted its holiday party at Riverfront Events on 12/10/21. I cannot say enough about the team and this venue. Communication was great from the time I did a site visit with Tori through all the planning with Yassmin. Accommodations were made for all of my requests. The night of the party the venue looked beautiful with all of their holiday decorations. Tori was attentive asking me continuously throughout the evening if things were going ok, if I needed anything. The bartenders and servers were also very attentive, friendly and kind. A special kudos to the chef as the food was outstanding! My personal favorites were the charcuterie display and the seaside seafood station and, of course, the desserts! I received nothing but positive feedback from my guests regarding the entire evening. I will definitely be a repeat customer and cannot wait to work with Yassmin and Tori in the future!

We had the best day working with Yassmin, Tori, Abby and the team at Riverfront Events for our wedding in Wilmington, DE on 10/1/21. They were absolutely fantastic and on top of everything throughout the whole day and during the planning process. I couldn't thank Riverfront Events and their phenomenal team enough for making my wedding day happen in such a short span of time. Sarah, Abigail and Kelsey were such a great team to work with. They really will do anything and everything to make sure the day goes so smooth. I hadn't met Kelsey until the day before the wedding, and this girl made me feel home. Due to COVID, I couldn't have much family come, but she and the team made our day extraordinary and full of joy. They're flexible, and willing to make your dream wedding happen. Oh and the chef- Mike, what a great guy! My husband really wanted banana pudding, and man- Mike whipped up this excellent pudding that all our guests loved. Hors d'oeuvres were exceptional. I received nothing but great comments from my guests who attended the wedding. Prices are reasonable, food is excellent and service is amazing. I am so glad i ran into them. You will not be disappointed! Sarah is wonderful to work with, and will most certainly help you stay on top of everything with your event. I look forward to using their services in the future.

I had the opportunity to use the venue on Saturday, July 9, 2022 for a special occasion and Yassmin Zahran made the transition from signing the contract to the day of, very smooth and without any problems. She communicated in a timely fashion. In addition, Val Howell Tina Zahran, Kelli Welch, Dave Poppiti, Michael Sheridan and the entire team executed the plan on event day to fullest. The Riverfront Events team is the BOMB! Sarah, Kelsey & Abby are such a pleasure to work with. Due to COVID, our wedding was originally supposed to be in Lancaster, PA & we had to move our venue a month before our wedding date & not only was Riverfront Events the only venue that had our date available, but they were just so comforting & opened their arms to us. With the stress of moving our venue just weeks before the wedding, the Riverfront Events team stepped in & helped up make the transition as smooth & stress-free as possible. On our actual wedding day, everything went so seamlessly from start to finish. Sarah & Kelsey made sure that everything was taken care of & made sure the me & my husband got to enjoy our wedding day, which most couples don't get to do. The food was also absolutely amazing! All the guests could not stop raving about it. The day was perfect. The Riverfront Events may not have been our first choice, but if I could do it over again, I would choose Riverfront Events as our venue. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Just as I was about to give up, I came across this venue in March 2021 when doing a random Google search for a place to host my 30th birthday which was this month (May 2021)... So happy I did! I had such a great, easy and seamless process booking the venue, coordinating and executing all the details for my party which was last weekend. Both Abby and Yassmin were the best! Abby helped in the beginning when I first booked the space, but then transitioned contact over to Yassmin to take over as she was the new venue manager. They both were very patient and soooo easy to work with, making accommodations and suggestions to ensure I had a great event. And the day-of-event staff were great also! They were very friendly and conversational with my guests and me, which I appreciated. With this space still on the relatively newer side and it being pretty affordable given the offerings (in my opinion), this place is a hidden gem. Recommend you host your next special occasion here!

I attended an event here in October. The event space was beautiful and the service was amazing. It is a brand new space, and it was very well appointed. I loved that is was on the river, and that I could stay overnight in the beautiful hotel connected to the event.
