We had our end-of-the-baseball-season ceremony to celebrate the umpires. They had great catering, great parking, clean facility, and professional staff. A place we will will hold our event annually!

This venue was the best. Melissa and the entire staff took the worries and stress out of wedding planning and made everything easy. Reasonably priced, food was delicious, decor was exactly what we wanted, staff was attentive and friendly. We highly recommend!

Jennifer totally helped my fiance and I get a tour of this beautiful venue! Absolutely amazing decor options and even bride and groom suites to get ready in! Unfortunately due to size constraints, we had to go elsewhere, but truly the best option for all inclusive venue! Decorative style was GORGEOUS!!!

This Venue is a spacious, efficient place for a special meeting or celebratory event! I was honored to be a guest at a recent charity holiday event where a LIVE auction was enjoyed by all! I just left La Vela from a reception. I worked with them as a day-of coordinator for my business, Kansas Event Planning. Melissa, the venue manager was AWESOME! She was helpful and worked so hard making sure everything was perfect. Her and I made a good team so that she could get her venue in tip top shape and I could get everyone where they needed to be. I think she went above and beyond because she also helped me cut the cake for the lovely couple, which is a messy job!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here over the weekend and I'm beyond happy with how everything turned out! Right after our ceremony they quickly set the room up for the reception. Their staff was professional and friendly. Judah (owner/manager) went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Starting with my first inquiry about the venue, to booking, to my many visits to get ideas, staying in touch up until the day of, to being there that day just made this wedding planning so much easier. Not only did we have a large building to accommodate our guests, the venue has all the tables, linens, chairs, table covers, chair covers, silverware, dishes, glassware, full bar, large kitchen, a private room, drape pipes, different light settings, and more that I'm probably forgetting....Like how they even allowed for early set up (if there wasn't anything going the day before).This place really is a package deal! It's a beautiful building, pictures don't do it justice, my words about my experience here doesn't do it justice...I'm glad that I made the appointment to check this place out, it was perfect. Thank you Judah and staff!

We used this for a Corporate function of approx 80 and we had a wonderful experience. The staff seemed to really understand the feel and layout I was looking for over the phone and it was all ready to go as we did a walk-through with no changes. They were available early the day of the event to confirm any tweaks with sound/audio-visual. Clean and easy to access. Bonus - parking is up front and a large lot!

Went to open house that was today and they have a very beautiful set up and wide variety of colors and designs to choose from. However, I only noticed 2 people there assisting and they were busy so I wasn't able to ask any questions about the venue.

We celebrated my Mom’s 75th Birthday at LaVela. Judah and the LaVela staff are so awesome to work with. Great food, great service, beautiful venue! They also worked well with our event planners, DJ and photographers.

Staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our requests. Facilities were clean and second to none, especially the various lighting and audio options. Food was amazing. Being able to take care of food, bar, venue as well as other needs, all in one spot was priceless

Great place and friendly, informative staff. The space is absolutely beautiful and they did such a great job on it. They offer everything too! The downside, however, is the appearance from the outside. The contrast of the indoor and outdoor space is like black and white. I do recommend giving this place a shot though. They have really done a great job. Well done! The only thing I’d recommend is possibly fixing the parking lot up, as well as, the storefront. From the outside it kind of reminds me of a consignment shop. It’s fantastic on this inside though! Also, updating the signage may help modernize the curb appeal. Keep on!
