I had an amazing experience. I was struggling to get the axe to stick and Kimmy gave me so many pointers and took the time to help make sure I was doing the right form. She was so nice and helpful and I totally recommend going. Will be going again.

Good atmosphere. Fun thing to do. They give a talk and help you get started. I know some people worry about safety but as long as you are not in the throwing area you are safe. They have a selection of beers to buy and even have a gluten free beer you can buy.

Had a great time with my sisters taking my mom out for her 60th birthday! I sucked but it was still a ton of fun and I eventually got the hang of it. Would totally recommend for a fun outing in Wichita :)

The evening was extraordinary,the one on one attention was very helpful and informative, instilling the confidence to get the axe to stick every time.Kim's instruction of the basic fundimentals was spot on. I will be spending all of my entertainment budget throwing axes,possibly even becoming the next world champion. Watchout here comes some compitition! Why is this not an olypic sport?

We had a blast! We had the place to (mostly) ourselves for the majority of the time and the girls working were great. They gave us pointers to help us newbies out and I'm pretty sure they even let us go over out time cause it was my birthday. I wasn't really counting the minutes cause I was drinking and as it turns out, when I remembered that I'm actually left handed, I'm a viking queen.

E went for my birthday. Coach Tiny took a ton of time to teaching us how to throw. Drinks were reasonable and it was a ton of fun. We laughed the whole time we were there.

Was worried when attending a Boy Scout event at a place throwing axes. Wow this place is GREAT. Staff teaches and stresses safety and the operation makes it a whole lot of fun. Best axe thrower of the night was one of the mothers

Had lots of fun. We went for the wife’s birthday party. Richard made it fun for everyone and was a great host. Atmosphere I think was a better experience compared to other axe place in town. We all upgraded our package onsite so we can go back all month long. The only suggestion I would make is more fruity drinks for wife. Definitely a fun date night, birthday party or getting out some aggravation with the boys place to go.

Owner is AWESOME. Efficient and friendly service. Our group was the very last group in there at close and he allowed us to hang out and keep drinking while he was doing his shut down and clean up. We had a great time!

My daughter, who was visiting from Florida, and I first visited almost a month ago. It was a great experience. We had such a fun time. We both upgraded to the VIP, which is such a great deal. Since that first visit I have brought my other daughter. We visit regularly and really enjoy throwing axes!

Came in with my family that was visiting from out of town. We had an absolute blast here, throwing for an hour and a half. Cheap prices for drinks and great fun for groups. Will definitely be back.

We’ve been there twice now and both times were a great experience. They are so helpful, and accommodating. The first time it was 3 of us and we had a great time. The second visit was 9 of us and again very accommodating and friendly. Definitely recommended to all of our friends and family!

Such a fun experience! Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. A large variety of drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) available to purchase. There was also pizza and candy available but we didn't buy any as we had eaten dinner earlier. You pay for the axe throwing session when you first arrive and run a tab for food/drinks. Large open building with 9 lanes inside, separated by chain link fence so it can be loud at times. Hand sanitizer was offered and masks were required except when eating or drinking. We reserved a time online (this allowed us to sign our waivers online also ahead of time) but when we arrived we started at one lane and were moved to another. It was a small inconvenience to switch lanes and I feel like the scheduling logistics could have been better but overall we had a great time! Highly recommend!

Just started getting interested in throwing axes so we booked a time last Saturday, there was 6 of us throwing and we all had a GREAT time. That one guy explain everything and showed us how to throw an the next thing we know all of us were sticking the axe. If you are looking for something fun to do I would definitely recommend it.

Thank you Cindy! (I hope I’m spelling your name correctly). Axe to Grind opened their doors outside of normal operating hours to accommodate my squadron and I- over 25 of us- for our annual military resiliency day. It mean a lot and was very appreciated. Cindy single handedly took us all on (we’re not the easiest bunch to deal with) and gave us a demo of how to throw and served us all plenty of much needed alcohol. Thank you Cindy, you are an angel!!!
