Reviews of The Wharf DC
MILKOS D. SOSA
This is currently one of the coolest entertainment venues in DC. It is full of restaurants and bars. It also has a seafood market, a theater, venues for events, the marina and several docks.
If you want to enjoy a fun atmosphere, with music, food and drinks, this is the perfect place. And of course the view of the river is one of its greatest attractions. The sunsets are fabulous. And if you are a lover of architecture and design you will be delighted with the buildings that are along the entire walk.
So, don't miss this place if you are in DC.

Enjoy visiting the Wharf at DC. It's a happening place. Love the vibes there. Lots of restaurants and eateries line the wharf. We love the Ben and Jerry's ice cream and it's location.
There is a huge fire pit on a pier / walkway. It's lined with swings and some benches.
This is also the location to watch the Annual Christmas Boat Parade, fireworks, etc.
There are quite a few public parking garages around.
All in all a lovely place to hang out (with family too)
Keith
This is a beautiful spot in DC and was recommended when visiting. We went here twice for our visit. The restaurant ilili was amazing. They have a huge venue here and many restaurants with great views. The seafood market is one of the oldest in the country which our DC monument tour guide informed us so that was cool to see. I should have tried the clam chowder there. We went here later in the evening and is a perfect spot for a date and higher end restaurants.

We were able to find free street parking about 2 blocks away from the main location. Enjoyed walking on the broad walk area, where one can purchase small snack type food and drinks and consume on the broadwalk. But , there are plenty of good restaurants in there. We enjoyed our time and will.go.back again for sure. Good place to relax and enjoy your time.

I wish I knew this place much earlier while I was staying in DC. I had such a great time here because I was able to organize my thoughts while looking at this beautiful view. There are lots of restaurants around The Wharf but I went to Municipal Fish market and got freshly cooked seafood for paying much less money. Highly recommend this place!
Christine Potter
I've been here during the daytime and it's beautiful with lots of restaurants to choose from near the water. It was my first time visiting during the winter season but the boat show I attended was amazing! Very crowded though, but loved hearing people sing Christmas karaoke and they had a hot cocoa stand too! Can't wait to visit in the spring.
Paula Gordon
So many great shops, restaurants, and other establishments within walking distance of several hotels and historical sights. Great place to stay for a business trip or weekend getaway. The parking garage is $60 for 24 hours and provides easy access to the wharf hotels and shops. There are bicycles and scooters for rent along with well marked walking paths along the waterway or at street level. I enjoyed a Hop on Hop Off big bus tour (check Groupon) which also has a stop at the Wharf making for easy transportation around downtown monuments, museums, and Chinatown.

Beautiful waterfront! We were supposed to stay at the wharf, but opted out to stay at an airbnb because of the pup. Was there for the Brian Culbertson jazz concert (Huge Fan)! One recommendation, please go to the fish market to get some king crab legs, and clam chowder soup! Expensive, but worth it! Get your own butter! Cordial at the wharf is a good spot as well! If you are into wine, beer, whiskey, check it out! Highly recommend!
Matt Terzi
My wife and I visited DC to see a concert (The Smile) at the Anthem theater, and the Wharf area was absolutely stunning. We stayed at Canopy by Hilton, which was honestly the nicest hotel we've stayed at in quite some time. The Wharf area is beautiful and lively and the area feels safe. I especially love the marina views and all the restaurants. It almost feels like you're visiting a small town, but the airplanes constantly taking off (it's not as annoying as it sounds!) are a subtle reminder that you're still in a bustling city. We plan to visit again with our daughters for sure!

This place is so cool! It's got rows of restaurants and shops along the docks and at one end it has a large marketplace where you can buy crabs clams all sorts of seafood cooked or raw. The restaurant choices are very and they've got some cute shops with souvenirs and collectibles.
anuradha menon
A fun place to hang out. A very fancy boardwalk. Has a variety of restaurants with a lot of food and drink options. Lots of seating to take in the breathtaking views.
The recreation pier has some lovely swings and a camp fire thing at the end of the pier which is beautiful.
Vickie Minter
A very nice boardwalk. We enjoyed the fresh fish market and picked up some soups and very fresh oysters. Warmed ourselves by the fire at the s'mores shack. Super cute! Very clean area with restaurants, a venue, bars, ice skating, and beautiful lights everywhere.
Arnold Flores
The Wharf DC Nuff Said.
Hip, funky, wild, sexy, romantic, vibrant, cool
Families, Singles, Couples, Prom Night, Date Night - fun, fun, fun.
Great place to take a stroll, take in the sights, people watch, enjoy a drink at any local bar, smoke a cigar, grab a relaxed casual bite or more upscale dress to impress, something for everyone.
Get there in late afternoon and enjoy the sunset dinning outside or inside. Take a stroll after drinks, with a cigar, or after dinner and enjoy scenery.
Fun!

This was the last day of our 3-day weekend getaway for my husband and my 12 year anniversary. The wharf is gorgeous and the Jessie Taylor Seafood Market is a must if you visit. We had the lobster bisque and it was creamy, hot and had lumps of fresh lobster in it.
Kenyetta B
Great place to spend the day! Its a bit crowded on weekends, but you still get a great view, plenty of seating and loads of restaurants. There's dining options for everyone to enjoy. Fun splash fountain for kids and tons of opportunity for photos.
LaVourn Cash
Ahhh ...I loved this palace it was beautiful, cozy, the smell was pleasing to my👃.
To my surprise the Igloo was quite warm no need to keep your coat on.
A for location, A for food, A for Dana our waitress super nice.
I will say yes to La Vie again
Diana Eide
This was our home base for our trip, we stayed at the Canopy by Hilton. We really enjoyed being able to come back here after our hectic days and just stroll and relax. Such a great area to stay and hang out.
Michelle Torres
The Wharf DC was an absolutely gorgeous board walk. I enjoyed the couples swings, the bonfire at the end of the dock, the beautiful view of the city, and the stunning overlook of the water and boats. Although it was quite cold, and some construction going on during my visit there I strapped up my boots, smothered myself in my coat, and made it a point to enjoy the boardwalk a few times. It wasn't overcrowded, and that was a definite plus. The Wharf is a great place to enjoy alone time with your partner, or fun time with family and friends.
Hannah Otis
The Wharf is easily my favorite place in the DMV. I can spend all afternoon there. You can eat, drink, shop, and relax all within a small area. It's also absolutely beautiful. Be sure to take a walk down all of the pier. It's also close to the metro so you don't have to walk far if you don't drive. Enjoy it!
Leslie Eley
What a wonderful addition to things-to-do-in-DC. Over a mile of restaurant choices & river views. Designed for pedestrians, plenty of places to sit, rest & people watch. Live music. Public restrooms. A destination in itself. Love the fresh fish market at one end.
Aimee Lim
This is a place not to missed when in DC. Awesome views and great food places. Parking is a bit of a problem. But we enjoyed walking around and finding some place to it. We also end up buying cooked crabs and shrimp.
Jason Whittle
This is a newly developed and very popular area. Really busy during the weekend but plenty of space at other times. Trendy bars and restaurants but not overly expensive. Incredible fish market on the near side, attractive views over the river.Very picturesque at night with an impressive lighting display.
Maria Gomez
Nice to bring the family for a while to walk around. Many restaurants and bars and little shops to eat and drink. You will have a good time once you make it there. Parking is absolutely atrocious for this place and you will spend 35-45 parking in the garage with very limited amount of spots. If it's a one time visit, I'd say it was worth it. Street parking is expensive and absolutely horrendous as well.
Kristin Ricks
Amazing views and food options. Ice skate ring out now(December). Not too crowded on walks. Except for Shakeshop , be prepared. Dog Friendly ,, Cant go wrong in this area. Parking cost everywhere. Lucky to catch a street spot or valet at one of the hotels.
Marc Kline
This was my first time visiting the wharf and it is a really great place to grab a bite or simply people watch. Views of the water and watercraft is a great past time as well. Restaurants are bit pricey but there is a Starbucks nearby for a quick snack. Also the fish market is nearby and is a great resource for fresh seafood and fish.
Morris Jones
I have never been to Monaco and moored my yacht in the harbor to measure that experience with DC's Wharf.....but if I had a yacht, I would like to experience The Wharf from that side no doubt.
Phase 2 of this development with condominiums overlooking the waterfront is spectacular...the hotels....the resturant offerings ( upscale )....combined with the events hosted by D.C. have made the Wharf a destination, and the place to stay when visiting the city....Enjoy!
There is a need to work out the challenges of managing large numbers of people at large events in a small space....
Vincent Paul Mowad
An enjoyable walking experience as you can walk along the wharf, see the boats and look into Virginia. Considering that Reagan airport is across the river, you can see the planes coming and going. Along one of the piers there is an adult swing that you sit and enjoy the view. Also the restaurant seen is very nice as there are many different options and in different price ranges.
Ian Chin
I just loved the spirit here. Whilst there's still construction at certain points as they continue to redevelop the wharf, it's absolutely calming. From restaurants to cafes to shops and of course, hotels, there's every possible option of things to do.
Dimitri Ivanoff
Good - it's waterfront, a lot of restaurants, a fish market, several good hotels, ice rink, water taxi & tours, several venues including Anthem.
Bad - parking is a nightmare, the place is still under construction so part of it is not accessible. Also while Wharf itself is really safe place a step outside past 7th Avenue can bring you to some less desired areas.
Mark Shapiro
An incredible spot to get a solid meal, all while. Iewing the Potomac river. They have many fantastic hotel options in the area if you need to stay, and several concert venues that deserve your attention. The parking situation is great, and getting in and out is simple. Make sure you check out the SPA at the Del Mar.
Alisha Cooper-Wells
The Grill dining was awesome! Our server was a very knowledge young black man. His energy and timing was perfect for my husband birthday! We could hear each other speak and they allow us to maintain our table even after desert. We will be back again
Daniel Laprise
Would have liked to discover this place before. Went for lunch and loved the neighborhoods atmosphere. A lot happening at any given time. Great place to hang.
Joey Cam
What a very nice area during early autumn. It is busy on the weekend but it was a fun place that hosts many cultural events and there are many delicious restaurants to go to. I didn’t get to go to the fish market but considering the options it is definitely a place to check out. I love the small fire pit for s’mores.
Darrell “Goody”
Lot of construction hard to park, have parking garage for hotels. Most businesses empty maybe because it's a week day or the COVID protocol. Lot of restaurants, and fresh fish at the wharf.
TheTopLuca
It's a very nice touristic place in DC with some appeal for the locals ! With lots of activities like Kayaking, water taxis and a plethora of restaurants and bars for dining which makes it a good attraction for different types of people. Nevertheless regardless of why you are there, you'll be mesmerized by the amazing water view!
Sourav Kumar Ukil
Amazing place with tons of shops, restaurants amd hotels, a large music venue, The Wharf is a waterfront neighborhood in the southwest marina. With cool and calm environmnt around lots of people roaming around everyday. Also this place is in the landing zone of Ronald Reagan International airport, hence specially in the night there is a really great view for airplane enthusiasts. Finding parking might be tough as its a really popular. A must visit place while in Washington DC.
Dhruv Jaiswal
A good river walk ! Has great food options and drinks menu right by the river !
The lime bikes aren't allowed was one thing pretty funny.
You can rent a kayan paddle boat here as well. A good place to go when visiting Georgetown
Matt Cupp
The Wharf is a great spot for food and entertainment at pretty much any time of the day in DC.
We just happened upon a Red Bull 3x3 basketball tournament on our last day.
There is ongoing construction and it appears there are several new retail locations and restaurants coming soon (2 Gordon Ramsay restaurants!!).
Yessenia C
Beautiful spot to eat food, swing in the day, take a stroll, ride a kayak and have a nice time at. They are building the second phase of the area and it is turning out beautiful.
Nasser
The Wharf in DC could be a small strech but had alot of exiting things to enjoy. It has a seafood market, rental space for events or parties, hotels & alot of restaurants & last but not least , the boat rides that you can take on a boat taxi e.g to Alexandria & back
Shandi Huerena
Beautiful place, lots to see and places to eat. They have the coolest fish market as well! I barely took pictures because I was having too much fun! It's a very relaxing place and honestly It was fun to just sit back and people watch. Along one of the docks there is a large area with swings for people to enjoy and along another there are neat plaques with some history of the area.
Jessica Cochran
Really nice place to visit. Great food, nice views that make good conversation. Loved the pier with adult swings and fire pit.
Charmaine Hurst
Very nice scenery of the boardwalk and tge boats docked there! Took pictures and walked around! Places to eat of choice. Nice architecture buildings there to see too!
Italia Capone
There is certainly lots to do and see at the Wharf. You can take a leisurely stroll along the water, check out the numerous eateries, entertainment venues or just people watch.
Weekends are a bit crazy but weekday afternoons and evenings are best if you want to avoid the crowds.
There is underground parking if you don't want to try to find something on the street.
The Wharf is a water taxi stop, so you can travel between Georgetown, National Harbor and Old Town if you're coming in from one of those locations. And it's only 2 blocks from the Waterfront Metro on the Yellow line.
I know progress and development is inevitable, but growing up in SW DC. I do miss the calm of the old waterfront. Back then it seemed more beautiful to me.
Megan Kvandal
The wharf has come a long way in these past several years. There is something to do and something to eat for almost everyone, even if you’re not into seafood. It can get crowded very quickly, especially when the weather is nice. The cobblestone can be a bit bumpy for strollers but they’re still usable. We love their free movie series in the summer. Every Thursday at sun down (7:30) is a new movie. We like to grab something easy like Shake Shack or The Boardwalk and eat and enjoy a family night.
Bryant Watson
What a lovely transformation from the last time I visited DC nearly 20 years ago! Great restaurants, nice water walk and shops! Will definitely return!
Joe Hughes
The Wharf was very nice except, when half of the restaurants were closed for some special award event. Other than that it's a beautiful place to go for dinner and a walk.
Mohamed Salah

GRAMS
Looks like a great place to gather, similar to The Peir in Chicago. Has venue for entertainment, variety of restaurants, open air fish market, interactive fountain and porch swings.
Barun Khanal
Great that this kind of public place is available to be used for people. There are things to do and see for everyone during day, evening or at night. Definitely recommend!
pingyao shao
Very nice place to chill out with your favorite people. A lot of restaurants, gorgeous view in downtown D.C.
A A
One of the most happening place in DC, plenty of resultants to try from…and always filled with some kind of fun activities. Finding a parking spot becomes an issue most of the time, theres few garage nearby but the charge increases for each hour.
Katie Yoon
The Wharf DC is such a fun location for wedding photos! With a recent wedding at the Intercontinental Wharf DC, the Dockmaster was easy access for a backdrop, with great views and variety in vibes. Timeless, romantic, and a bit of modern hipster thrown in for fun.
Rekia Lovely
Absolutely loved it! Every dish we had was delicious. We went for dinner on a Saturday night and returned again that Sunday for brunch. Amazing! Will definitely return on my next trip to DC
Marlene Galeos
The Wharf in DC has a row of variety restaurants and bars and coffee shops. They have a beautiful view of the docking area and i like the swings by the.boardwalk!
Crystal Bejjani
This place is awesome!! We stopped for lunch and ate on the water. A little pricey but it goes along with the atmosphere!!
Ameera Stafford
Went for the holiday boat parade. It was so windy due to being out by the water and a lot heavy foot traffic but the boats were nicely lit and the firework show was cool to see.
Monica Yris
It's a great place to spend a day walking around with a delicious ice cream and having dinner with beautiful sunsets.
Jörg
A wonderful place, very enjoyable, much to do and a great variety of restaurants and bars. Beside that, a market place to purchase fresh fish.
Eduardo Plasencia
Nice place to hang out and walk for a while with friends and family. Plenty of restaurants for all sorts of publics with view to the waterfront.
Matthew Fauske
4.9 Stars go to the Wharf. Everything here is pretty perfect but why does it have to shut down, like no open places because of noise ordinance after 12am(11pm at some places) I just often wish this wasn’t the case. But I’ll still be back again and again. Concerts to ice cream to fresh seafood and 5 star hotels all on the water less than a mile apart. Hard to pick a favorite activity here.
Sarah Roberts
DC is exciting but traffic is horrible downtown. Pay for a place to park and walk to all of the tourist sites so you can get pictures. Many roads are closed off to traffic so you can not get close enough to what you want to take pictures of, in a vehicle. And bring money because things are expensive.
John Ross
Lively upscale boardwalk, eclectic dining and bars, recreation pier has swings, a fire pit, and kayak rentals. Parking seemed challenging but there are functional and scenic bike paths and pedestrian walkways
John Michael
It was great, good sights, I enjoyed the tour to Georgetown n back. Good tour narration on the tour, and of course when we got back, it was nice to enjoy some good food. 🥳😋 …
Wendy L
Excellent raw oysters with the special vinegar oh em gee. Delicious 😋😋 first time trying ceviche and I loved it. …
David Conner
Very Nice place. Family friendly. Lots of restaurants and scenery. Limited shopping. Pricey.
April Asuncion
Simply amazing! Fun, romantic, beautifully situated along the water. I can’t wait to return!
Jeff Toback
Great way to spend a few hours, bar hopping or grabbing some fresh seafood from the open air market and sitting down to enjoy some shrimp, crawfish or steamed crabs.
Big Drewdogg
A brand new part of SW D.C. My wife and I felt like we were at the Boardwalk in O.C. Maryland. At the beach but not 😜. All upscale bars and restaurants guaranteed to please. Great food, drinks and service from D.C.'s finest servers. Family friendly and good for singles and couples all at the same time. You wanna feel incredible energy? Then the New Wharf in S.W.D.C. IS DEFINITELY THE PLACE TO BE!!!🤘🏽😎🤘🏽🍕🌭🌮🍗🥩🍔🍾🍷🍸🍹🍺🍻🥃
Marc Tassin
This place was a surprisingly cool little pocket of character. Lots of interesting restaurants and nice views. Great for people watching! Note that I'd label this "higher end." In terms of city prices, everything gets an extra dollar sign added to it down here.
Rose Schaum
Fun day and night! Lively bars and restaurants but also great for date night. The sunsets are amazing. Good food at every turn! Live bands at night in some restaurants. Corner street players and small bands add to festive vibe. Very good shopping. I would advise not trying to park close on weekends, especially at night. I used Uber there at back and had a great time. I'm looking forward to going back earlier to explore the fish markets!
Brian
It's a nice place to walk around and hang out. Everything is expensive here. There are swings on the pier which are nice.
Katrina Anderson
I have mixed feelings about the changes to SW. I grew up in D.C. and the Wharf is an important historical landmark and a favorite childhood memory. Growing up, it was the place to go for seafood! The Wharf had a special feeling. Now it looks like $$$! The food is still great and plentiful on the boats. There are several places to eat and tall buildings to see but that feeling is gone or should I say replaced by progress. It is a MUST SEE!
Jim Phillips
Great stay and service. Amazing location on river, lots of places to see and eat at all around. close to airport and other sites.
Hung Nguyen
First time visiting the Wharf District in DC. I've only gone to the Anthem venue but the area looks interesting to roam around with various restaurants and bars. If I ever go back to DC again, I would make another stop there.
Daniel Miller
Really cool area. When I came here 20 years ago for the first time, there was nothing. Now this area is filled with restaurants, bars and entertainment.
Adrian Reyes
It was excellent. We love to walk by the river. Really nice place.
We were lucky to go the day was the Día de los Muertos festival.
Good food. Beer, Mexican groups showing different dances of their culture.
Susan O'neill
Wow. Amazing area. Things have really changed since my last visit. Loved my experience.
Laura Massey
Amazing what they've done with this area in the past several years. A nearly- complete neighborhood with residential, office, and commercial activities.
lion8584
I'd recommend going to the wharf at night; the ambiance & allure is inviting. Seeing the lights dance off the water, while having a bite to eat is so relaxing! There are many great views for high up aerials, so definitely take in the sights. Very romantic. Lots of dining options - it is a mainly a seafood place, but you can find options for your preference. Lots of parking garages nearby (fees seem reasonable for the experience & convenience), with some street parking. Search for upcoming performances as well! Great for family, a cozy date, chilling with friends or a bit of me time. You won't be disappointed.
Mirabella Dawn
Love this place, been coming here forever, feels kinda like a home away from home if you live in the area!
Veronica Caldara
We loved this place. It is unique. Food and atmosphere is absolutely great.
Alex Castillo
Great place to spend with a date or family , the restaurants were awesome and the calm easy walk in the marina was energetic
Gary Grissett
1st time there since all the new building, great time there. Looking forward to more trips down there.
Went for Christmas boat parade and fireworks. Traffic was terrible, parking even worse.
Stephanie M
Beautiful strip, love the views, the vibe, walkway and dining options. No area on the boardwalk to purchase a six pack that I could find easily, but you can get to a store about 10 mins away.
Paula Paez
Great place for foodies. Full of entertainment and fun activities that will change during the different seasons
M Whittaker
The Wharf is a great outing on an autumn night! Good security presence. Try the great food and drinks at La Vie and sit outside on the deck to see the lovely waterfront and skyline.
Brian Waskiewicz
While visiting Washington DC we found the wharf down in the Navy Yard area. The atmosphere in food or fabulous.
Carrie Smith
We found the wharf the night before we were to leave and oh how I wished we found it sooner. So many restaurants to chose from and then there's Pearl street with live brands.
You can kayak or just relax on the big swings on the deck. A fanatic spot to go if you're in DC.
I was so entranced with the water that I completely forgot to take pictures of all the restaurants...oops
Sharrief Tate
Great place to walk around and enjoy the sights and sound and smell the wood burning 🔥 fire for toasting smores! …
Kevin K
Had a great time at the Wharf I can't wait to go back and try more of the restaurants and see more of what the Wharf has to offer.
Jeff Walker
Really nice waterfront area. There are many good restaurants and event areas. And it is within walking distance of the national mall, museums, etc. We enjoyed our visit.
crystal coppi
Ambiance and amazing eateries. Moon Rabbit, Jesse Taylor fish market, Cafe Du jour, Rappahanook oyster market, You can easily have a progressive dinner date night in a great location.
Hamad Zraij
Nice place for walking and relaxing, many good restaurants are there and seafood, parking available, kayaks.
Neerja Tiwari

There are some nice places to hang, eat, and drink. Not cheap, but fun.
On my Middle Class Monotony (MCM) scale (0-5 where 0 is NOT cheap or monotonous and 5 being very cheap and monotonous):
The business at the Warf may be expensive and exclusive but the Warf itself is available.... 4 MCM
John Harris
Amazing venue, great location. The bass shook the floor tonight 😍, go see Glass Animals tomorrow!
Edit: just saw Phoenix and crowd surfed the lead singer. Anthem continues to be a top notch music venue and the wharf is a fantastic location.
Paulo Loreto Lim
A great spot for looking out onto to the water and lots of great food and drink!
Kyle Tipton
Awesome place with a lot going on. It is mostly limited to restaurants but the food is fantastic across the board.
LV rican
Loved this hotel, the staff, the decor, the location, the views, the rooftop pool, the night scenery and the many restaurants within walking distance
Jen S
Staff was excellent and this hotel is fantastic! The view is gorgeous(added pics of the view from the room), and the location is perfect. Lots of restaurants close by and it is very close to all the museums and other sightseeing stuff. Bed was comfy, room was clean, and they have a good selection for breakfast in the morning.
Marilyn Breedlove
What a great place to hang out! Shopping, fantastic dinning. Beautiful view, lovely & breezy. Ride bikes, scooters.. Rent a kayak or a paddle board. You can jump on the water taxi and go to the national harbor or Alexandria.
Estuardo
Excellet place to hang out with family and friends, go on a walk, many places to eat at and take gorgeous pictures.
Alisa James
This experience was a walking, outdoor treat to the eye. There's several restaurants and eateries. The Wharf is a hotel on the water and it has several activities within walking distance.
V. Solomon
AMAZING!!! Every city should visit this place to learn how to create an atmosphere that brings people together.
Jacqueline M
Perfect place to hang out, stroll during pandemic. Plenty of outdoor dining options
Lots of choices in restaurants including La Vie & Grazie Grazie new favorites. Also fresh fish markets with seafood orders cooked to go as well. Beautiful views of Potomac River via Water Taxi. Will return for a fall visit soon.

The 2022 Jazz Festival was amazing. The music, food and atmosphere were wonderful. I was able to meet and greet one of my favorite jazz artists, Chien Chien Lu. Phenomenal experience!
Dallas Cowboysfan89
I saw Johnny and Jeff here and the experience was positively amazing. I really enjoyed my time there.
Maya Skalski
Beautiful place to visit, true landmark in the area. Many places to eat and drink, nice views and walking areas.
marcela pena

What a place to be, totally outstanding. This was a total surprise package and I went there with no expectations. I was in for a complete surprise, the waterfront has upgraded in the recent years and I am certainly sure that this eventually be the most happening place to visit in DC in the near future. Lot of restaurants and hotels that you could explore with some amazing water front view. I visited this place for dinner and it was buzzing with some great crowd and atmosphere.
If you are in DC visiting museums and monuments, then you should definitely not miss out on your evening plan by visiting this place, trust me you would certainly love it and have a great experience.
Michael C. Delapena
Definitely must see, especially at night. Very beautiful with tons of restaurants and bars on the water. Don't leave DC without visiting.
Marie “Monkies” Vigo
This has been an amazing area to walk around. There are shops and places to dine. I haven’t seen it all, but so far it’s very peaceful and your options for food is expansive and in some places expensive.
Glen Ragobar
Lovely evening at the wharf. Relaxing area with Ben And Jerry's to complete the evening.
Susan Oddo
I was there for a wedding. Was charged $68 to park overnight when I was a hotel guest. Guests that did not stay at the hotel got a discount on parking...WHAT???? A 4 oz water from the mini fridge was $10. And all I did was move the bottle. There was NO room for anything of mine in the mini fridge and I was charged $46 for the items I moved...which they took off pending their examination of the fridge. I had a beautiful view of the air conditioning units and this wonderful wedding guest discounted price was only $400 for one night. On the plus side, the room was beautiful and the staff was very nice. Not worth the money. If I had known it was that close, I would have stayed at the Hilton.
Amanda Cropper
Honestly, this area is overpriced and kind of irritating, but the public areas are well done snd it is a whole sight better than the neglected waterfront we had. With the good unfortunately also comes the bad when developers come a d take over.
Sharon Berry
Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to expensive for the average Joe but worth the adventure. Seeing the boats and The Spirit boat up close is amazing. It is Peaceful and Colorful...being able to sit on the Pier and enjoy the water up close is cool. The best part for me was the easy access to actually being able to buy raw and cooked seafood from the boats to take home and enjoy!
Claire Hamilton
Very cute little area to grab a bite and sit outside!! I almost dropped my phone through a crack on the board walk and my butt got a little wet sitting on yhe wooden benches so be careful... 😅 but other than that it was great! …
CB DCDiva
What a fun and nostalgic experience! The group I went with had a blast in all the selfie set up and scenes staged to remind you of eras in black hair gone by and resurgent! I would totally go again
However! There was no air-conditioning!! But the staff provided personal fans. It was a fun night.
Olivia Jones
The wharf has been our pandemic safe haven. There’s great food, gorgeous views, and just a great place to be on a beautiful day. The wharf has become our go to for weekend outings, whether we just want a change of scene or are looking for a delicious dinner. A great public pace and perfect for locals and out of town visitors alike.
Anton Owens
Took my wife here for her birthday and she loved the experience. Gorgeous view at the penthouse of La Vie restaurant
Jennifer Goss
Love this part of the city. So many dining options.
Olubunmi Fabunmi
Beautiful! The view of DC from the ground or from several stories is just breathtaking.
Lyla
We met family for dinner and then strolled along the waterfront. Jazz fest was going on but we were able to keep our distance from the crowds and still hear the music. New high rises and restaurants are still coming in. Don’t forget to look us for some beautiful architecture.
Cnk K
Great place to dine and wonder around. Beautiful Marina along a great sunsets.
gaurav adhikari
Very good place for night fun and walks
Gennifer Shafer
Beautiful & so many great choices.. great people watching too 😉 …
Julia Julia
Very lovely place to visit. Atmosphere there was magic
Val G
Beautiful, beautiful place! Lovely boardwalk with a marina on one side and beautiful buildings with fabulous restaurants on the other side! At the end of the boardwalk you will find a wonderful fresh fish market! Be sure to bring your wallet as parking is ridiculously high, and the restuarants are high end and the prices reflect that!
Tony DeMatteo
I recently went to The Wharf for the first time to attend a concert at The Anthem. It was such a cool area! The vibe is really fun, there are decent places to eat, and I could literally sit and watch the water and the boats for hours. If you're looking for a place to kill some time in DC with a really nice atmosphere, this is the place to go to.
Petry Purenia
If you love seafood, then this is the right place to visit. Start from food stall to restaurant.
Russell Lee
Nice place in Washington D.C.. Free shuttle is not coming at this moment. Now, it is changed to the Christmas season.
Kimberly Carter
Loved the atmosphere and waiter! Food was delicious!
Brian Romanowski
Nice to see the water and the boats. Seems like it'd be fun to have a drink with friends on a nice day. Tried one of the restaurants and the food was just okay; next time, I'd probably try to eat inland at a restaurant that can't lean as much on tourist traffic and the view.
Daniel Packard
Went to the Anthem for the Joe Russo's Almost Dead show. Great venue on an excellent location. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from at The Wharf.
Everytime I visit DC, my son takes me there.
Its a great destination. 👍
Cindy Derr
I was visiting my son who lives nearby in the DC area and he and his fiance decided to share this amazing place called The Wharf with me, my daughter and grandson. Well we absolutely loved it!! Great restaurants and entertainment for the whole family! Next time I'm in the area I will definitely be sure to visit again
Coraline
Fantastic area!! Colorful! Diverse restaurants and bars. So many fun things to see and do. The aromas in the air are delicious. To stroll slowly along was so romantic even on a cool night. Great place for dates and romance or with a group of friends or family. Parking wasn't difficult and it's so easy to walk to everything. We ate at La Vie and it was an excellent experience. Definitely book reservations in advance for eateries given the time of covid. All places here seemed way more advanced and sophisticated with their management of covid regulations.
Kristine Hernandez
Beautiful hotel. Comfortable accommodations. Friendly staff.
William Shepard Jr.
This was my first time going to the annual boat lighting and I admit that I had a blast. The food, vendors, and fireworks were all amazing. The boat show was great by itself and the fireworks definitely put the icing on the cake. I will definitely continue to go to the boat lighting shows in the future.
Omodaramola Oni
Always a fun place to hang out. Wanna dine indoors? Out in the open? Under canopies/umbrellas? There's something for everyone. Great seafood spot.
Oh, lots of raw seafood markets there too. The sunsets are spectacular over the marina.
Josh Davis
Such a classy venue. Compared to a lot of the divey places rock shows are in around this area, it's a real upgrade. Food is actually really delicious too. Drinks are gonna be at Wharf prices but the service and short lines are really good.
Harland Abraham
This is a great area to relax, walk, eat and shop.
Sherri Johnson
I really enjoyed the views by the water and being able to walk along the walkway and watch the sun go down. This area has plenty of great restaurants and hotels as well as other attractions like an ice skating rink, etc.
Dr. Saleh M. Sbenaty
Such an awesome and beautiful place to visit, walk, and dine.
Anastasiia Iun
Okay. Extremely pretty place, well decorated with a lot of restaurants, outdoor plants, NOT VERY NICE WATER (it's actually quite dirty), and cherry trees nearby. They even have parking with a waterfall. Just wow.
If I could I would visit this place all the time. Over and over again. Also I hope that one day the quality of the Potomac river improves, that the water will be clean enough to see through, enjoy a diversity of fish, seaweed, and other marine life🏞
Joy Wise
It's a beautiful place for a beautiful outing with loved ones, especially in the evening. The lighting, the various restaurant options, the fire pits, the beautiful people, the wax figures, and the ice skating ring. I love it here
Jennifer McNerney
It's a nice area and has an amazing lunch there, however the stone walkway is hazardous to anyone wearing any kind of heel, and or for anyone over 60. It is not a good place for nightlife in that regard. But i went for lunch there recently, so not a problem.
Erin Akou
Super fun. Great time so many good food stops.
Robert Wagnon
Great public venue for restaraunts and walking by the water. Clean walking area with unique lighting and artistic crafted walkways. Beautiful piers near the yachts and sailboats. This is a great place to see people and to be seen. Restaurants at every price level with diverse menus. There are brew pubs and distilleries too. There are boat rentals and sightseeing excursions. This is a great destination in Washington DC.
Joe Acosta
Beautiful place to visit. Dozens of eateries available with different choices of gastronomy. Would definitely return.
Miguel Enciso
A lot of restaurants, good food in the fish market, it was fun ice skating and cheap all day $13 not like in new york $50 1 hour. Excellent view, parking is available
Api Did
Nice and quiet place for a walk, a drink or a diner.
Dee Bee
Beautiful scenery with an endless array of overpriced (and many times overrated) restaurants. 💸
For tourists, yes, I recommend.
Piecrust
Bustling. Seinfeld in town. Crowded. Feels good after the pandemic. Weather brisk not real cold. Bill split 4 ways. Two of us just had fisf: cod and basari - colored with two hot paste: one side green other half red(?). Both had pickled vegetables as a garnish. Very popular. Two hour dining limit.
TJ Wagoner
Wonderful time on the Warf plenty of shops and good restaurants!
Katherin Quevedo
I love watching the sunsets at the wharf. It is a really beautiful spot in D.C.
Dana Schaub
The Wharf Hotel is beautiful, dog friendly, with magnificent views of the river. Affordable luxury everyone who visits the area would enjoy. Walking distance to the Wharf district, eateries, and the monuments. Parking is limited and a little pricey, and the T.P . In the bathroom is one layer. The staff is very friendly.
Jorge Enrique Estevez
I loved the place. The view over the river and the skating on ice with my boys
Renée A. Middleton
The atmosphere is great with lots of nice options for a casual meal or a nice stroll on the boardwalk, catch a beautiful sunset with a hot cup of coffee or a satisfying ice cream 🍦 cone. Can't go wrong! …
James Beane
Very busy place on a Sunday evening. Great place for dinner, or to watch the sunset. We got an order of Cajun Crawfish at the Fish Market and enjoyed them there on one of the benches.
Misch
Nice place to take photos and take a walk or stroll... although I do miss some of the older buildings here, as I do all over Washington, DC. Anyway, this place is nice, but could use some more mural art (a lot more), in my opinion. I like the murals that are already here.
BiVi
Beautiful view, nice area to walk and look around and of course to eat. It is a very hectic area when it comes to traffic on a week day. The good thing is that if you need an Uber they are all over the place (mostly they come to you almost instantly, but sometimes it might take long because of traffic).
Max Olack
Depending on when you go this area can be great. Fridays and saturdays the bells and whistles really come out and you can see some high-fashion on the boardwalk. If that's not your vibe I recommend going during the week in the early afternoon when its less crowded.
Steven Jones
We stopped at a bar that was open air and enjoyed some drinks and then had a very nice, affordable meal at Kiran's next door. Nice decore with a heated patio seating area. Food was very good as well.
Ryan B
Beautifully well done with a cool boardwalk offering lots of relaxed seating (including really cool, kickass swings) on the wavey pier. I live sitting here and reading in the evening but an often distracted by the stunning sunset and the jets landing at Reagan across the water.
Andrew Hoover
Just kind of a tourist-hole trappy place with expensive mediocre food. It is nice to have a place with "late" hours since DC is such a business-first town and everyone leaves at 5 and everything closes at 6, and they had a lot of options with inflated prices and just OK food. Better served taking the metro to K St and hanging out in Sursum Corda and Mt Vernon Square. Needs work.
The space is nice. The boats and public seating and lightning are all very nice. The bonfire was nice. Not a lot of taxi or ride share options, but very walkable, and kind of not great for metro access either, but Green Line to Waterfront is a good pick.
Luv Jones
Very cool place to visit. Walkable area for both kids and adults alike! Plenty of restaurants and shops to visit as well as a water taxi.
Tobias Tringali
Wonderful waterfront with plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. Dog friendly.
Leena Pattnaik
Beautiful place in DC by the water ...and lots of restaurants to choose from for an evening to relax with fmly n friends.
Cara
I love the Wharf!!! It has the cutest boardwalk, markets and shops plus food and some gift stores. There are bonfire pits and a pier to look out of the river. It is a stunning addition to DC!!
deborah
Great , went for Mardi Gras. It was peaceful and everyone I encountered was friendly.
E Jordan
I haven’t been to the Wharf in years. 5 stars would have been if ALL of the seafood vendors could’ve stayed. Cool place to go and hang out with friends or family.
david chen
Probably my favorite place in all of Washington DC you can find everything from the best hotels to fine dining to fresh seafood restaurant a place to check out
Julio Figueredo
This area is one of the coolest in DC. Great restaurants, music, outdoor vibe to enjoy with your friends, family, or a date. Beautiful setting right by the lake. Only issue here is parking. If you want to park at the Wharf, expect to spend around $18-25 per hour. There's street parking but I am sure it is always full.
EJ Eaton
Great area to get fresh air and walk around. Several different restaurants and Cafe's to choose from. Parking is easy as there are parking garages, street parking and valet at different locations on the wharf. During the holidays the wharf is decorated and very festive. We went to Colada Shop for small plates and brunch cocktails.
Kate Tallent
Lovely. Just go and walk. Take in the sites and sounds. So many cafes and music venues to visit. Great people watching and they even have live music out on the pier. If you do park in a garage - I parked in the garage under Union Stage- it costs a fortune. $45 for four hours. Ouch!! What a lovely addition to DC though- just take the Metro or walk there.
Ceci
Nice market with lots of variety of seafood. It’s under construction right now and also the DMV area just opened up a few weeks ago so they were still kinda restricted in some ways. Decided on lunch at Brighton....ordered the shrimp wrap, it was delicious. Served in pita grilled bread with a yogurt cream sauce. A must try!!!
Robin
It was perfect!! Extremely beautiful Suite with awesome balcony views! An attentive staff, excellent room service made for a great 2 night stay. Very convenient to the best Italian restaurant ever... Lupo Marino! And all the great places we wanted to visit..
Andrew Novack
Great area with several restaurants. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas with a huge tree that made a great photo op. They had an ice skating rink and igloos you could sit in.
Hungry Dreamer
The wharf is such a vibe! The people and pigeon watching is the best!
Drew S
Absolutely stunning, awesome place for a night out
Koloko Blandine
Clean area, nice view my hobby made me surprised IL there, I love it
Adalberto Frotman
Very clean place. A bit over priced, but it's worth it if you plan ahead. The strip is a bit short also, but that's not a negative.
lucy babb
I was so happy to be back in DC and the Wharf has grown and added new restaurants what a wonderful time of the year to see all the decorations and enjoy a great meal with family.
Maita Reyes
Has skating rink. There was an Asian restaurant Kaliwa with Filipino Food
Marnechia Davis
It's so beautiful here now
Michael Otule
I love this area and can’t wait to see what more they build. Nice place to walk to board walk, ppl watch, eat, drink, and/or be merry.
Danny Walsh
Stayed at the intercontinental Friday through Sunday of New years weekend, stayed in the suite room at cough cough 1000 a night but them push button blinds when 1/2 of the room opens up to a Waterview was amazing $1000 umm no but definitely amazing, staff was great and extremely helpful and I got to play 18 holes at Potomac east on new years day. It was definitely a once in a lifetime trip to stay there but really had a great time while we were there.
Hollywood TaJ
Many Upscale restaurants with a 'nice on the water' atmosphere. Some have reservations but a few don't take reservations so plan accordingly. Parking is conveniently located in the parking garage which is walking distance. Love going to the Anthem here for concerts.
Liz Smith
Really beautiful little strip of shops, restaurants and hotels. I can't believe how this area was completely gutted and rebuilt. Worth a day trip when the weather gets nice. There is a Capital Bikeshare here so you could ride to the National Mall or explore the city. There was parking on the garage the runs underneath the Wharf but I could see that filing up quickly during busy days.
Veronica Mells
The day was nice 84 degrees just got some snow crab legs & shrimp sat by the water n enjoyed my meal
Rachel Bonifacio
One of the most underrated places in DC. Lots of restaurants and good oyster bars. Lots of hotels with the view of the sunset and the Potomac.
T C
Highly recommend. Growing up here, this used to be a place to get seafood, just come ad go. I am very impressed with the transformation. Family and pet friendly, walkable boardwalk with plenty of shops and restaurants for everyone's taste! There is a big firepit with chairs surrounding it. You can enjoy the view even in the winter time! There is also water taxi if you would like to take tour of the river. The only negative is parking is expensive but so is DC parking in general.
Isaac Holt
I have lived in this area for all 18 years of my life and have watched the Wharf grow and expand since its initial opening. While the traffic is a different story, the amount of venues, restaurants, and various stores definitely makes up for it. You can either walk along Maine Ave or along the waterfront when going north or south. On the waterfront side there are multiple piers with swings, a fireplace, a skating rink, and much more. Additionally the waterfront side has both restaurants and food stands with an impressive variety. Most buildings are structured with retail on their first floor and residential on the upper floors. The residential situations sees both hotels and apartments which, if your pocket is deep enough, have an amazing view of the the Wharf area and Potomac River. Would definitely recommend stopping by here if you’re in the area or want to see a new and upcoming part of DC.
Josie Eswagen
Paid $12 for parking in hotel structure then walked around boardwalk to fish market. The boardwalk was beautiful with adult swings lined up along the side. The fire pit was up while we were there and Christmas music playing - blissful environment! The place is a 5, parking cost for 2 hours was a 3.
원오직나만
Nice area. A lot of restaurants and bars. Walk around, have a cocktail or two with good food.
Sharmetra Pittman
The atmosphere here was absolutely amazing! My son and I traveled to DC for mother-son date, and The Wharf DC was on our to-do list. The location was perfect (walking distance to The Smithsonian Museums) and we ended up choosing Boardwalk Bar and Arcade as our late lunch spot!
Nitzeira Whiten
It is always wonderful to visit the Wharf. Great atmosphere and fresh seafood... We had the lobster -shrimp. These were the biggest shrimp I've ever seen. It's worth your money.
Q. Colón
Great place to visit with the family.
Blair Stinson
The wharf is a shiney new development on DCs Southwest waterfront adjacent to the existing fish market. It's mostly ok, the two new music venues (The Anthem and Union Stage) are great, but the bars and restaurants in the area are somewhat mediocre and expensive compared to the rest of DC.
I would recommend visiting Falafel Inc for lunch and Colada Shop for a quick drink. The fish market is great as well. Otherwise don't come here for good food.
Yani Chavez-Ynesta
Finding parking was a terrible experience!
The wharf though was beautiful, mostly restaurants, did not see very many shops.
Lively atmosphere and a cool breeze, definitely would go back!
Bri M
If you are in DC and there is a parade at the Wharf.. definitely go and see..very festive today in honor of Mardi Gras..DC style.
Joanne E.
Great place for a stroll. Many restaurants to choose from. And can dine oitdoors by the water. Pleanty of seats and also swings on the dock.
Jane Fioravanti
Went to a beautiful wedding. Loved The Wharf, bars restaurants, boats marketplace hotel scenery
Steven Schwartz
A beautiful place physically which clearly cost quite a bit and the restaurant prices reflect this.
Anjoli Ifyouknowyouknow
What a beautiful place to take stroll, get good food and explore. My sister got engaged on the doc there and it was perfect!
Larry VP
There is no other place like this in DC. By the water restaurants, music, open spaces, water fountains, fire place. Great for a date, hanging out with friends, or the whole family. Take a break am indulge yourself. It is totally worth it! Just remember to maintain your social distance. If you have an emergency the staff in the area are very helpful too.
Kelly Boyer
Great restaurants and bars with many options. Clean and beautiful. We had so much fun.
Michelle Castellands
Great restaurants and venues super difficult to park so if you are planning a dinner or attending an event arrange for transportation
Jim Haynie
Love the Wharf with great places to eat and further expansion coming in Phase 2 opening in 2022!
Fanny Salgado
Amazing renovation, buildings look spectacular, great place to take pictures, kayaking, water taxi, buy fresh seafood, dine, shop, live music, and stay in hotel. I highly recommend. I suggest getting there by metro, because parking has high prices. Go see for yourself!!
Carmen Rodriguez
Great place for good food and taking in the view with a nice walk.
Fathallah Lahlou
Love it, you must visit ....by ur self or with your family and friends so much to do
Alex McCrary
Plenty of restaurants and the view is fantastic.
James Elsinger
This place gets very busy, very quickly. I only found one public restroom but it was clean. Great selection of food and drinking venues. Christmas boat light show was very enjoyable.
Julia Lin
Live music was playing, lots of high end and seafood-featuring restaurants. Lots of people and dogs mid-afternoon
Anrica Cross
It is kid friendly, and they have a scanable menu. I loved the option shareable. They also offer bottomless mimosas when your with friends.
Amy Rammelsberg
I loved the atmosphere and the different things to look at. I loved the trees for shade and wall for sitting. The water feature was fun, even as an adult. Maybe a few too many obstacles to not pay attention. Put your phone down and enjoy the stroll. Lots of restaurants and small shops. Very nicely done!
C Taylor
I've been to DC several times. This was my first time taking a water taxi. Sites were beautiful and I love the historic places that I would not have seen otherwise.
Gianna Ficalora
Very nice little spot on the water filled with great restaurants and bars. Highly recommend stopping by for cocktails, oysters, and beautiful ambiance.
brentford atemkeng
It's amazing, fascinating and fabulous 👌 It's a place to experience. …
Fran Crisafulli
We had a great time exploring the Wharf and dining. We used the time to scout out The Union Stage. We're coming back in May to see a show. Can't wait!!!

Jorden Van Etten
So glad I live right near the waterfront. Such a great place to go and relax, and spend quality time with family and friends!
Craig Y
A must place to visit when in DC. Good mixture of bars and restaurants and a nice atmosphere too.
Brian Hagan
Great spot for food and shopping in a location just south of the National Mall. Tons of restaurants to choose from...definitely ended up here more than once on our trip to DC! Caught a lovely sunset one evening near the docks.
Oscar Blanco
I was amazed at the cleanliness. This place is the perfect place to bring your family for a walk, dinner, or ice cream. Feels like your really in an ocean wharf.
Lloyd Bowden
Big change from the wharf I grew up on. I really missed the crowds purchasing seafood off the fish boats that use to be there, but the change is hardly an eye soar. What got my attention was the marina and the size yachts that docked there. The boardwalk and restaurants where a joy. Plans on going back......most definitely!!
Diedtra Henderson
my first meal at Moon Rabbit: As an unrepentant carnivore, I was pleased to see Moon Rabbit serves an entire bowl of chicken encased in a flavorful crust and cooked so masterfully that each piece remains moist. Serving the leg with the foot still attached gives the impression it may try to flee the coop and rewards people who are into chewing on chicken feet. I also tried the shrimp appetizer, which came impaled on a shard of sugar cane, bathed in thai basil with a pile of spicy sesame seed to add an extra layer of kick. But even I was wondering about an even token serving of rice or glass noodles. True the chicken had a modest amount of bean sprouts, but less than you'd see in a bowl of ramen. Minor quibbles. I also enjoyed the sprinkle of sea salt on a cookie served warm enough that the chocolate was melty. Already planning a return visit.
Dinal Soni
We had a great time and rented two boats for party.
Mike Brown
Great place to hang out in DC. Nice restaurants and other venues nearby such as Arena Stage, Nationals Stadium, and Audi Field. Would recommend this place for anybody, families, couples and singles. The only negative is parking is awful. There's a garage on site but it seems like at certain times of the day is always full.
Rasha Kamal
The vibes in this place are something else!! We had great time walking around, ice skating, and having an italian dinner.
Andrea R
Honestly, what a beautiful place! I visited The Grill, Politics and Prose, and Lupo Marino while I was there. It was good. Great bookstore and great restaurants! Makes me want to live in DC
M jafar
Love the design and feel of this place very charming and great views of the river and landscape. The walk is nicely maintained and done . This place is great for groups going to dinner drinks or icecream. Love the pier swings and fire
anthony danks
Went to the Warf on a Sunday afternoon. There is a parking lot near the Ferris wheel. Sunny breeze day i went for some quiet time and in a short walk found a bench over looking the water. There is a bathroom near the ferris wheel. The area is developed and has lots of shops coffee and places to eat. Its both busy and quiet. You can choose where you want to be.
Rosie C
Great place to hang out and check out. Lots of high end restaurants and dessert spots. An awesome spot for photos too.
Peter Schuyler
Great place for family visit to DC. Service was excellent. Rooftop pool a plus. Located right on water. Short walk to Mall. Valet parking always super quick.
Sindhu S
I had been here with my friends and parents. Best place with lot of food options.
Evenings are amazing!
Charles Black
Kirwin's is a great place to eat! (I thunk I spelled it correctly) LOL! The food is amazing and the staff are all great! I had a wonderful time and it was my first visit. I'm going back. I ordered a Crab Risotto...pure deliciousness!! If you're ever at the Warf, this is a great spot to visit!
Efe Shipman
Nothing special bout the place, restaurants here are overpriced and seems dull. It can be nice to go there for only a stroll.
Eric Franz
So much to do here and just a quick ride from the DC Mall.
We enjoyed some great seafood and a quite walk on the wharf.
Pamela Lee
Beautiful place to go, stayed at the Hyatt House, what a beautiful place to stay. The Wharf has plenty nice places to eat. The view of the water is really tranquil.
Andrew Harmon (Werd69)
Not a lot to do but a lot to eat. It has an entertainment venue The Anthem. I found it very relaxing. You can also catch a water taxi.
Mark Fitzpatrick
An amazing transformation of this space. It's not quite done yet but it just has an awesome feel and really is a great new destination spot in DC. Music, restaurants, the ability to jump on the Water Taxi and go to Virginia or a Nats game or National Harbor. And for all the old Wharf Seafood lovers, it's still there. They're going to Spruce it up a little bit but they're keeping that part
Joua Xiong
Nice spot to enjoy food and the view. Plenty of areas to sit and many restaurants to choose from.
Lawrence Younger
Vibrant and full of people. A nice place to have dinner or just browse about during the daytime.
G L
Great view, day or night. Great restaurants, fire pits, live music, fish market, hotels. Short walk to the Metro, safe area even at night.
Leeland Leu
We bought shelled and deveined raw shrimps from Jessie's and had it cooked at Jessie's across the way for free. It was very tasty and only takes 5 minutes. Great friendly people and very helpful. They answered all my questions.
LaToya Kimble-Cooper
Amazed at the transformation of The Wharf. It's now lined with hotels, dining, shopping, and activities. Enjoy the fire pit (seasonal) on the pier, catch the "ferry" to/from Alexandria, or enjoy live music on select nights. The one place I do miss is Phillip's Seafood.
Joel McCauley
Just lovely, a beautiful day to wait in line to get into a concert... Louis Tomlinson 😁 …
Ftyropek
a great and lively place to spend evenings in the summer
Jennifer Fisher
If you're a normal like me, you love the air and pretend your boat is one of those docked. Choose wisely.
Cedric Bridgewater Jr.
JoGo bans was amazing. My wife and I had a great date night, listing to such a great go-go music band.
Tim Lawrence
There is so many great places to eat. Big variety. The layout along the water is a must do. It's grown since I was last there before covid and looks like a lot of growth still to come.
Bill Gallagher
What a wonderful place! Even in February it was fun to walk around and enjoy the different types of food and drinks. Stayed at the Canopy Hilton and it was perfect. I will be back.
Robert Corbie
This place is just a ghostly shell from where it used to be, at one time u had a variety of vendors to choose from....now....there's only 3 "boats " there and they are all owned by the same person/company....I sincerely hope that the history of this part of the wharf doesn't fade away.I still enjoy going there and getting fresh fish......oysters....crabs and shrimp. It's a relatively safe environment and there is adequate security.
Audrey Maddox
Great place to hang out with friends or date night. You can see live concerts at the Anthem , eat at one of their several restaurants or enjoy their variety of shops. Great atmosphere,
Michael Stone
The Wharf has so much going on and is meticulously curated. There are so manys shops and restaurants. During the cold months they have real fire pits tended by paid attendants and you can buy smore kits. But what i think about when I'm there is the wharf of my childhood, which was a thriving fish market. There were piers with boat stalls where fishermen would sell crabs and fresh seafood all day. While the new wharf undoubtedly will appeal to an audience interested in the glistening, new, posh DC, some DC natives will find themselves missing the DC they used to know.
Sagar Vibhute
Lovely place to spend a quiet evening
Hubert Hawkins
My first time going with the wife and young daughters.... although we got down there after 5, it was nice. The atmosphere was electric.... people of all races n ethnicities.... very nice. The seafood was fresh, never seen shrimp that size before! They had the red snapper!!!! Couldn't find it anywhere.... they views n scenery was absolutely beautiful. Since it was St. Patrick day weekend... there was more drinking....i guess you can say adult time..... very nice.... will be going back... this time earlier!

This place is a MUST SEE in DC. Since it was redeveloped there are many restaurants, hotels and places to see at the New District Wharf.
It a great place for date night, girls night out or family night. Ladies BEWARE look cute WITHOUT the heels. This is not a heel friendly location.
It's so nice even just walking around to take in the water fountains, the fire pit and the boat docks. If you get hungry there are plenty of restaurants.
PARKING - can be a nightmare. You could take cab, Uber or Lyft. DO NOT try and look f or parking. Within about a 10 block radius of the Wharf, most off street parking is 2 hours UNTIL MIDNIGHT. I parked near HUD Headquarters at 7th and E Streets, SW where it's paid parking until 6:30 pm and FREE on Sundays.
I also wrote a review on Canopy by Hilton Washington DC The Wharf. They stay there was VERY NICE.
Floxy10
So many different shops and restaurants. Beautiful setting but it's too crowded. The shops are a bit pricy but unique finds.
Josh Miller
Awesome to see this area changed to a vibrant, fresh waterfront. Great food, music, drinks, and views. Hope to see the wharf continue to grow and bring much needed revitalization to this area of the city.
Gladys Aponte
I went to a GREAT Concert at the Anthem. Looking for parking was a nightmare BUT the Venue itself & the show was Great. I time allows I highly recommend taking the METRO aka the subway.
Mrs. McCorry
Very lovely and clean area. So many restaurants to try! In walking distance of the national mall. Looking forward to returning with the whole family!
Ronnie Rabby-Chia
What a beautiful place to walk around! Many big restaurants, great view, and cool fish market. Glad we visited.
Elena Morandi-Bonner
Beautiful area to walk, eat, go for a boat ride. Great new hotels too. I stayed at the Canopy and I would highly recommend it.
Deborah Mayronne
It's always a fun destination. The music and food were great. But the fireworks absolutely stole the show. Better than the 4th of July. Loved it!!!
Rafael Sato
Very beautiful place to walk by the deck, great view. Every good place to walk or sit on the chairs near to water and relax
John Turnmire
DC has always been a River City, and yet folks seem to have forgotten about that fact until now. State of the art architectural design with no expense spared. Extravagant public piers, boardwalks and cobblestone alleys, 3 music venues, soon to be 40 restaurants, and only a few blocks from the national Mall. Tons to do for kids, and adults alike. It really comes alive at night.
Liza Bla
Had a great time!!! Went for the DC Jazzfest lots of good music and fun vibes. Dinner at Mi Vida was delicious. Definitely recommend for a fun day. Lots of romantic date spots and also for family fun.
Spot Wms
Several drinking holes and ethnic diverse dining options. Water activities (paddle board and kayaking) on the Potomac and free splash fountain for the children.
Water taxi stand located here and plenty of seating on the pier.
Shawn Reardon
fantastic area, love the restaurants, all kinds of options. The Anthem is a fantastic venue, I prefer it to comparable sites in both Philly & NYC. my only complaint is the lack of nightlife options at the Wharf after 11pm, which unfortunately is true of DC generally.
Manny G.
Excellent atmosphere, variety of restaurants from white cloth to just carry out places, excellent night lifestyle, many restaurants offer rooftop access.. Beautifull views to the Potomac, water taxi accessible from Alexandria, other nice amenities like access to the marina for those boaters, very clean and safe..The only problem around here is parking, most of the time parking garages are full, reserving many parking spots for valet parking.. I recommend to walk less than 5 minutes and park around 12th street, there is plenty and more affordable parking garages around that area.
Eric Glover
Awesome place to find just about anything you are looking for. It's a great DC attraction.
tina largent
Very busy and felt very safe when visiting. Will be back. Lovely shoos and restaurants. Beautiful views of the river and cute areas to sit and relax.
Vanessa Newsome
Very clean nice hotel. Staff was friendly except for the people who worked at the bar. They were weirdly rude...
Louis777 C777
Always busy and pleasant on the water side! But ..... always a TRAFFIC NIGHTMARE on the street side. These people don't care about adhering to traffic or parking rules. DC city is also at fault; no enforcement to keep traffic moving. What a frickin' mess Friday & Sat nights.
Monica Quaye
Very busy, there was a Jazz Festival going on. We took the water taxi over. Purchased crab meat to cook later. Nice atmosphere, plenty of photo ops.
David Blaine
Great place to walk about and eat. Lots of energy
Chris Batcsics
bartaco was amazing, it was my first time there. I love Union Stage and the Anthem.
michael engelhard
Excellent walking spot with a large variety of eating spots as well. You can also catch the water taxi to old Town Alexandria. Enjoy!
Justin M
Great location on the water. Plenty of local shops and some really good restaurants. There is also a concert venue down there called Anthem. Really well done and good layout to accommodate foot traffic.
Natural Max Health
I took a water taxi from the Waterfront to the Wharf DC. It was very windy, but beautiful and relaxing. I had lunch at the Wharf and walked around a little bit. I didn't have time to stay long, but I'm more than happy to share the photos I took of the Wharf as well as while on the water taxi.
Adrian Jefferson
So much to do, live entertainment, something for everyone, would have gave it a 5 star but the parking prices are crazy
Magda Ortiz
What a great area. We had an event at the 12 Stories venue and the view was beautiful. Can't wait to go back.
Skating Momma
Truly LOVE this venue. #Clean #Profesional staff
It was a wonderful Tony, Toni Tone concert plus Roller Skating. Fun and Exciting experience
5 Stars 🌟
MAJE
I love the wharf because you can buy a lot of fishes .seafood and crabs. There is also alot of restaurants around the area there is a board walk too
James Dixon
The Wharf has changed over the years and while I do miss the nostalgia if the way it used to look when I would frequent there many years ago, the upgrade looks very nice.
It's a little pricey but the new DC comes with higher prices for entertainment & leisure. Outside of parking (which is nothing new in the city) it really has a nice atmosphere & vibe to it.
Cheryll Macdirck
Nice restaurant, bars , beautiful view on boats and planes landing to Ronald Reagan Washington airport. You can go there for a jog or just chilling on the weekends. They have awesome places for after work party.
James Johnson
I grew up there and all the amazing changes it's family friendly and awesome atmosphere for nights out with the girls or the boys or couples date night 100% fun.. Enjoy
Gayle Richards
Very nice area! Dining, hotels and apartments!
Euphemia KNW
The Good-
The atmosphere was livelier than last time I visited- but that was long ago in a world where covid didnt exist. Vacant asphalt lots, chain link fence and construction have now been replaced with the east section of completed residential/office buildings (appearing to be partially occupied? Idk).
The Bad-
The Parking was obscene! Not wanting to miss a show, we opted for parking garage convenience, rather than walking from a street spot (as I had in the past before the garages existed).
BIG MISTAKE!! Located and entered the 1st lot, and dove into congestion, cutting sharply around oddly placed cones, needing to reverse from tight dead ends, and having to dodge the other vehicles that were on the hunt. The second lot also was bunk- And after locating, navigating through and failing to locate parking, we ended up walking from a street spot anyways.
Why no signage indicating FULL LOTS?! The time wasted in the Garages could've been traded for time walking from street parking. It cost the time we were trying to save when we initially attempted the "convenience" of the garages.
Interestingly, the valets located within the garages appeared rather attentive as we passed the vacant spots reserved for their services....
Summary:
Atmosphere was lively
Parking garages are a failure
Hellcat 6836
Beautiful place to visit like going to Disney too much to see Not enough time
Amee moq
Very nice place to dine in with so many resturants and cafe
Nasrullah Mansoor
Amazing view of water front specially with sun down time.
Rush hour and traffic is not worthy.
Parking around is not good enough park your car far-away and walk around…
p thomas
I really found that the SEAFOOD VENDERS and selection DECLINE is most disappointing. There were great memories with my two adult daughters. Eating (pre-Covid)outdoors on the hillside watching the water, people and ENJOYING OUR FRESHLY COOKED/STEAMED *SEAFOOD*
Great memories ^
The investors apparently had a "goal" in mind...however I count it a privilege to have experienced the WHARF years prior and just before closing to the Renovation project.
***Consideration should be entertained to bring IN MORE fresh seafood venders mid way and the opposite end of the development.
My FAMILY and I had a wonderful lunch TOGETHER inside the pub.
David Handler
Little pricey and bougie, but it is pretty. Right on the water, lots of nice little places to sit and meander, and that bike route out front is really nice and convenient. Will be nice when construction is done and it is more fully integrated into the District's bike lane network.
Kaz T
This place is so awesome the dinning was great shopping was fun entertainment everything was right there i loved this place and can't wait to go back
Kevin
Great walkable outdoor space along the Potomac. Lots of good options from affordable seafood on NW end, to middle of the road and upscale/pricier options. Attended the Jazz fest and had an amazing experience.
Deborah Kerwin
A perfect place to go 9n a hot summer night!
Kristina Smith
The food and service were awesome! We had a group of 5 and we were able to sit upstairs. Perfect for our conversations.
Gabe Dorsey
Very fun little walk. Slightly out of the way but it has a good amount of stuff to see and do
Jon Bot
Wow. Fist time here. A great vibe, safe, rediculius food options. So easy to get to. Stayed at Intercon. A killer new(ish) place to camp in DC
orlando brown
Lovely place for relaxing. Pros all the entertainment and views. Cons parking is the worst now that they have added extra buildings
Bo Jackson
A must visit when you're in the D.C. area. Great atmosphere, restaurants and accommodations. Will definitely be visiting again.
Jodi Scheiterlein
Wonderfully pet and family friendly outdoor area to spend an afternoon. Great for a walk, huge variety of dining options and scenic places to sit.
Mike Ward
There is plenty of good food & activities to enjoy down at The Wharf DC! I simply enjoy sitting down to eat and watching the crowds of people walking around the area.
Lauren Ugorji
Wonderful area of DC with lots of restaurants and fun to walk around. There's a bookshop called Politics & Prose but I didn't have time to stop in.
Vernon Robinson Jr
Absolutely love the redo of this area. Fine dining, lots of entertainment, underground parking, and friendly atmosphere. Will def return for more seafood.
Scott Mace
There is a little bit of everything here. This place is going to be awesome when complete. Great restaurants, entertainment venues and hangout spots. Take the time to walk down to the fish market area and see all the seafood. A must see for anyone in the area.
monzer iskandar
This place is great to take your loved ones to have a very unique time enjoying all the modern state of the art architecture and sit by the fireplace at the end of the walking deck And also enjoy the swings and lots of bars and restaurants and hotels and also the fishmarket at the end of the walk is my favorite end of the day treat
James Walker
Always interesting, with new restaurants, water activities and music venues, a must for locals and visitors alike. Parking can be an issue, but Jitney ferry is free in the warmer months, as well as free shuttle bus via National Mall.
J Howe
Atmosphere, great restaurants, water sports rentals on the marina, nite life, people watching. Try Hanks Oyster Bar and Kilian Irish Pub.
A “ACe” Ce
Fun place to hangout. Parking is expensive and hard to find. Hence the 4star rating.
David Brock
We stumbled across this area by accident but loved the vibe. Lots of great restaraunts and nice views next to the river.
mike cook
Really cool place to swing on the pier, grab an ice cream from ben and Jerry's, seafood or beer.they even had a peloton class out on the dock
James
Saw some cool boats and relaxed on the pier next to the bonfire. Great food nearby and lots of interesting buildings to look at
kwame pobee
Great place to spend time, lots of cuisine choices. Marvelous way to spend a couple of hours. Parking was pricey though.
Alessia D Meri
Very nice place to hang out, lots of restaurant choices and a fish market... Nice busy place they will even stream the crab for..
Richard Price
Wwbt to the CAPS wharf fan experience. Meeeh, I'm guessing it would be much better if a game was going on. Not much to do if you are not skating.
Theodore CHRESSO
A nightvwith Jeff Beck and Johnny "The Pirate" Depp
Aspen De La Cruz
They have done amazing things in this area. We enjoyed a concert there, but I am definitely going to come back for the food and fun I saw on my way to the venue!
Adam Nelson
Wow, did this place quickly become the evening hot spot in DC!
Sophie Boston
Great water front place, a lot of little shops and book stores. Great waterfront restaurants, and occasionally live music! Fun place to walk around.
Wendy Smith
Fun atmosphere. Clean and festive. Lots of bars and restaurants. Very limited shopping or breakfast options.
Matthew Van
The walk is open and connects all the way to the titanic memorial and makes it much safer than having to walk on the street to Fort McNair or Audi Field.
Frank Vena
Wharf was great, food was all poor quality. Ate in four different restaurants all were 2 star at best, 1 was Ok at 3 stars but crossly over priced
One more small item, women can not wear heels, all the pavement is uneven to walk on .
Alex Lishinski
Cool area, love the anthem, but there's only one road in and out, hard to get to the metro, and stuff closes really early, including the shuttle to the metro.
Brock Bell
Gorgeous space filled with modern architecture and countless places for food or drink. It's also filled with several social gathering places right on the water.
Alexandra Alvarez
I was a tourist, but got to feel like a local. Amazing vibes, fun shops and really good food. This area of town has the greatest views. We also took advantage of the water taxi service and headed to National Harbor. Definitely a must see.
Yves
Nice place for visiting with a lot of restaurants. I would suggest to avoid coming to the place with your vehicle on a Saturday night - hard to find parking.
Debra Winter
Great place for a stroll. We went on a cold and windy day in the morning hours. It was hard to find a place for breakfast as most had not opened.
Ms. Denise
I haven't been there in over 26 years.
....me & hubby celebrated our 28th Anniversary there on Sunday, the 16th. I loved it!!!!
Barata Bey
The staff is wonderful and the hotel is beautiful. I really enjoyed the food. The only bad thing is they lost a package that I had sent to the hotel.
Lucus A*M
Very nice area and chill vibes and nightlife, just be prepared to pay double what you'd usually spend at your own stores!
Megan Reed
The area is busy, but not crowded, and nice! Food was amazing! The view of the wharf was magical. Recommend walking.
Meagan Bowers
Easy parking right across from Union Stage. Nice boardwalk. Plenty to do while waiting for your favorite bands to hit the stage!
CgScor G
Is a nice place but is has become very expensive. It used to be a place where you could easily got seafood very tasty and affordable but not no more.
Steven Cruz
Nightlife is fun
Few nice spots to eat/drink
(They took away Captain Whites Seafood tho)
Akshat Joshi
Good place to hang out for sunset. Fine restaurants and eat out places.
Tony Fuentes
I grew up in a DC where The Wharf used to be nothing but a bunch of boats and smelly fish. It was like a field trip when my parents would take me down there because I got to see all the different kinds of sea creatures. I also liked stepping on the floating boats. It was so cool! The only restaurant in the area was Phillips Flagship. The neighborhood was also iffy at best and there was practically no lighting at night. After moving out of DC years ago and now coming back to see what The Wharf has become is absolutely mind blowing! Growing up never did I think The Wharf would be a place where people could fine dine, go to music events and walk safely at night. It's beautiful.
Tanium T
It's a pretty fun place to just wander. There are lots of good restaurants and things to see. Parking can be a bit of a mess, but otherwise it's great.
Jennifer Dueweke
So beautiful and sleek! So many people there I can't believe the completion of this renovation project was only in 2017. There are restaurants, apartments, offices, shopping, vendors and, of course, the boats docked and on the water.
Neil Greathouse
Super cool hangout at night with plenty of restaurants, concert venues, curling leagues and outdoor walking. Bike paths, easy Uber and Lyft access to hotels also.
Mattherw Davis
Beautiful view and excellent food. People were friendly and the atmosphere was very safe.
Arnaldo Milano
Excellent place to walk and watch the sunset, also it has a lot of nightlife. The bad thing is all the good restaurants in the area are very expensive.
Olympia Frazier
It's beautiful. Flooded with people at times. Saturdays wait time to eat ranged from a 45 minute wait to 2 hour. Parking is scarce it was all booked up. E'Lfant plaza is close you can walk. 35 to park in under ground parking across the street on 10th!! Goodluck. It was worth the 1 hour search lol
Udi M
Such a beautiful place. Definitely one of the top 10 places to visit when you are in town
Roy Green
Excellent! Would give ten stars if I could! And I am aware that it shouldn’t even be called “the wharf DC”. Also fully aware it’s 100% gentrification! I still really like it and would highly recommend a visit!
Teresa Menke
It was a great holiday celebration. So many great people. Kindness everywhere. Happy people celebrating together
constance owens
At first I was annoyed that my friends picked such a far place to go but once we got here, I realized it was worth the trip. Good atmosphere and lots of options for food and drinks. We had issues with places letting us split checks which we needed for business reimbursement reasons. So maybe call ahead to ask because we had to walk into a few restaurants before finding one that would accommodate a group of 10 that needed separate checks.
Avni Patel
Great time to visit here anytime you go. Christmas is always special and luckily the weather was also good..we had a great time!
Margia Ahmed
I love this place and almost visit every other day. Very peaceful and quite.
Tiffany “NewlyNatural” J
Our first time being down here and it was so nice. Being by the water is always a good time. If you are from DC then you know this is a BIG stretch from where it used to be. There are tons of places to go eat for whatever you maybe craving (American, Asian, Mexican, Spanish, sweet, and so much more). There are fountains and beautiful scenery that you have to take a selfie or group pic to mark the occasion. This place is great for dates night, family time, to people watch, or just to scroll and enjoy the sites. A must see!
Antoinette LaVey Williams (ALaVeyWill)
I feel like they should have a map at the entrance of the shops and restaurants and bathrooms, like the malls, when you first come in, as well as one you can pull up on your phone.
The fresh crabs are way too expensive and only worth it, if you are a tourist, willing to pay their inflation prices.
The ambiance is nice. It didn't smell fishy, like it used to. It has a nice atmosphere. I would go again.
Kent Zheng
There is no way to pay the parking fee while there are huge signs saying “pay to park”. Beautiful views tho.
Pallavi Misra
Very nice area. Lots of restaurants and lively in the evenings. Great walk.
Arthur Vieira
Nice place for family time
Arnetta M.
Nice place to hang out for eats.
Jessica Carey
Great place to walk around, seems like it's really been built out to have a lot of food options. Definitely going back.
Liliana Plaza
It's a beautiful place, perfect to walk around and have great meal
Brian Hicks
It gets super crowded on warm sunny weekends but the wharf is a very welcome addition to the DC scene. Great restaurant and bar options. The Anthem is now probably the best live music venue in the city. And all this right by the water. If you knew what was here before it’s pretty incredible what they’ve done.
Bertha Lee
This is an awesome place to walk along the river and eat!!! So many different places to get fresh seafood and all other kinds of food. Ben & Jerry's on location for some great ice cream. Seeing the different boats sailing and the fish jumping in the water, while the ducks walk on the water was so peaceful!!! There's live music and boat tours. AWESOME PLACE TO VISIT.
Richard Zmuda
First time there, ate at Surfside, best shrimp Taco ever, place was hopping and fireworks to boot!
Michael Far
Beautiful and vivid place by the water. A lot of options for food, drinks and a few coffee places.
The walkway is kind of short though.
Swati Patel
Such a beautiful place to visit in DC. They have lots of option for dining. We visited it during evening and it was beautiful. Parking is only available for limited time(2hrs) but there are parking lot nearby to park.
Ayah Rashid
Really nice area to walk and great food options! Was also quite clean
Arissa Camp-Glover
The Wharf DC was amazing! Located in Southwest Washington is a waterfront destination with restaurants, shops, and water activities! My friends and I went on the water taxi from The Wharf to Georgetown. The boat ride was approximately 45 minutes from each point, since we did a round trip. We thoroughly enjoyed the views! We walked around and enjoyed the adult beverages as well that were offered at the side bars. They don't allow you walk around with these beverages, for good reasons. We ate at Hanks for dinner. We tried to eat the fresh seafood but it closes at 8pm. We enjoyed our time there so much, we went back the next day!
Marvelous Tours
We came to visit at 7:00 a.m. Saturday morning. It was the best time. We grabbed a donut and coffee from the District Doughnut shop on the wharf. The water was so still it looked like a photo.
Julia Skapik
Beautiful redone area of DC. Drawbacks: bad traffic, no parking, high prices. Pluses: lovely view and setting, some diversity of different shops and restaurants, next to the amazing old school DC marina with great local seafood.
Mithun Hossain
Amazing tranquil marina located in Washington D.C. featuring a long boardwalk and many many restaurants. Definitely come on the weekdays...Place is super chilled and not many people.
Hongpha Chommachan
I attended a concert here and it's a beautiful venue, but they lack in cleanliness. All the railings were full of grime and sticky and that did take away from the experience. You would think with a society that's stressing cleanliness they wouldn't have railings that made your hands sticky the who night. The box seating isn't all that special either, it's no different than being in the general admissions crowd. They just slap a bunch of folded metal chairs into the boxed section and there's nothing special about it, so I wouldn't waste my money for those seats.
Muhammed Jawla
Love D.C. Wharf! Beautiful place, great view, great vibes! Lots of good places to eat! And also has interesting events
Aishwarya Sabane
Loved swinging by the waterfront. It was pretty crowded even on a weekday evening. It is a good place to chill.
Christopher Phillips
Born and raised in this area. Always been a good time since the since I've known it. The upgrades to the area has helped but it also has hurt. There's a lot of people that used to live there that can't even afford to live there anymore. But at the end of the day evolution happens. It's a great place to be. Enjoy your time and check out 12 story and a couple of other great restaurant that are down there.
april Obi Boling
Lots of restaurants, pet friendly nice place, 1 sad thing most restaurants were not Wheelchair accessible
Matthew Marsili
Nice urban development on the water.
Kostadin Kushlev
A. It bro-y, but super nice place with lots of events, pubs, good food. Be sure to visit the old wharf and get some fried fish or freshly chucked oysters!
Emily C.
This. Place. Is. Awesome. First, the entertainment is wonderful, there's a Smores pit for pete sake. The parking garage was about a 10 minute walk from the wharf, out the main entrance where you pulled in at. There's a lot going on-- people traffic and live music, a lot of nice places to eat-- Kirwan's fish n chips was simple and Delicious. Everything was clean, no trash on the sidewalks, plenty of bins around, beautiful grassy areas to roam and sit... the pier is huge with benches along the sides, great sunset views.. and the Anthem was great too. Perfect venue. Top notch spot to spend the evening with a good group of friends.
Yaritza Ortiz
Such a wonderful place to visit! Many options of food and drink. Plenty of beautiful sights and places to sit and take it all in. Beautiful both during the daylight hours and at night it becomes a wonderland of lights. Splash pad for the kids during the hot days is a life saver too.
Angus Bennion
There are some good food options and it’s just a great place for a walk.
Joseph Coleman
Beautiful scenery, Expect to fork out some $ for Parking which really needs to be organized properly.
Robb Pearsall
Just a word of caution:
Make sure that your covid vaccinations are up-to-date. Wear a mask during the show.
I am fully vaccinated and had both boosters. I caught covid at the recent Blondie show -even though everyone had to show proof that they were fully vaccinated to enter the venue.
(I didn't wear a mask)
I live by myself and rarely come in to contact with other people. This was the first large gathering that I have attended in many years. Luckily I recovered quickly because of my vaccination status.
Take responsibility to protect yourself; AND the responsibility to protect others.
Joe Michalski
Lots of things to do… shops, restaurants, activities. Great views of the water.
J G
I love the wharf I've been there so many times especially the Waterfront. Even arrived there at 3:00 a.m. just to swing on the dock
Don Graham
Nice! Perfect Night Out For My Birthday! People Should Check It Out!
Asia W.
Delightful stay!! The room with a view was perfect!!! I can't wait to visit again.
Stanley -
Cool place for an hour or two but super expensive.
Elise B
Such a beautiful place. Whether day or night but night was beautiful
Darrin Miller
It is pretty and modern and impossible to find parking at on the weekends! At least it's got a lot going on, though!
Fleet Korrell Jr
Very nice area in DC a lot of restaurants and music venues to check out
Stephen Chow
Watch out. This place is really happening on a Friday. Heck, it is even pretty happening on a Monday. There are lots of nice restaurants. But you better make reservations as they are always fully booked during the peak tourist season. They have lots of live music and lots of bars. I can see why everybody comes here to party
Rowonie
Wharf kinda smelled weird other than that it was fine
Angel Toledo
Nice ! Sea Food my favorite, also loved ❤ the place
