After one post-poned wedding, vendors dropping out, and being out of state- I made the decision to hire HHH from a day of coordinator to a partial planner to our 180 person backyard wedding (yes, I know, what was I thinking trying to take it on alone). It was the BEST decision- Krystinia was completely hands on from beginning to end. We had weekly hours long zoom calls going over the details. She was in constant contact with my Aunt (venue) and all the other vendors so I didn't have to worry about a thing. She got the wedding party from the house, to the church, back to happy hour, Bride and groom on a boat and chick-fil-a delivered all on time. She ALSO found me a last minute Caterer 3 months before the wedding. Our wedding wouldn't have happened without Carrie and Krystinia swooping in to save the day. 100/10 recommend!

When we first started planning our daughter's wedding over 12 months ago, we were hesitant about bringing in a professional planner to assist us. However, as we watched our daughter get married a week ago and then enjoyed (and relaxed) during the reception, we couldn't imagine doing this without the Happy Hour Hostess. After some unexpected events within 24 hours of the "big day", Mallory (our lead planner) jumped in and ensured what may have been a disaster, was quickly brought under control. We booked Carrie as a Day of Planner. What we didn't know is that we were going to get hands down the best service we could have ever asked for out of this wedding business. Not only did Carrie run the wedding but she did our flowers as well. My wife designed most of this wedding with Carrie's expert advice and then she brought it to life. Carrie's attitude and work ethic were more than we ever dreamed. I was 100% skeptical about a day of planner but I will tell you now I don't know how we would have done it without her.

We hired the Happy Hour Hostess team's month-of services for our Nov. 2022 wedding. We booked the team in 2021 well in advance of our late 2022 wedding date - the booking process was smooth, informative, transparent. We were walked through all details and general timelines of our services. Throughout that year HHH stayed in communication in lead up to our "month-of" and provided many helpful resources including checklists, how to's, things to remember guides. All incredibly helpful material!
As we got closer to our wedding we were assigned our planner, Laura Frazen. Laura was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was calm, on top of it, communicative, and professsional. She worked wonderfully with our other vendors, assisted our guests, and ensured absolutely everything went smoothly on our wedding weekend. I would not have handlded the weekend as well without her. She really worked hard to reduce the stress on my fiance and I in lead up to the big date. Being able to have help and stress relieved going into those last final weeks was truly priceless and something I would 100% recommend to any bride! Our florals, decor, timelines were perfectly executed, especially in working with our photographer. This facilitation of our busy day was crucial and flawless. We loved working with HHH and recommend their team whole heartedly!

Carrie and her team helped us plan and execute a corporate event (ribbon cutting ceremony for our new facility). We could not be happier with the outcome, the quality of the process, and the cost. Carrie was very organized throughout the planning stage, maintaining an online document repository that held our plans, timeline, and up to date budget. Carrie also thoughtfully incorporated little design cues from our company and office into the event decor and materials. What I appreciated the most was how effortless Carrie made the planning feel. For example, during a dry run for the event, a few days before the event was scheduled, we realized that we needed a more comprehensive outdoor sound system. No problem. She had the solution identified during the dry run, and the provider on board by the end of the day. I highly recommend her company and look forward to working with them again for our next event.

Carrie and her team at Happy Hour Hostess are AMAZING! Carrie is a true professional as well as caring and personable. When my new husband, Jeremy, and I started wedding planning we were not thinking about a wedding coordinator at all. Our ceremony required one and we started interviewing vendors. We knew by Carrie’s interview that we could not pass her up. Jeremy and I were stationed in Missouri at the time, went through COVID, changed our wedding date and then ended up getting orders to VA. Carrie was supportive through it all, and even called me the second she found out we had to change our wedding date due to COVID. Carrie truly made our wedding day perfect. She plans your entire wedding day from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to bed. She provides a DETAILED schedule which leaves no room for confusion for your wedding rehearsal and wedding day. I could not imagine our wedding month, week or day without her.
The main reason for hiring a wedding coordinator are ALL the small details you do not think about as a new bride and groom. She ensures all your vendors are doing what you paid them to do. Carries does way more than what is listed in your contract. She is a true saint! She checked on us throughout the day and night and ensured everything was perfect. Carrie also had two assistants the day of our wedding who were so lovely and helpful, I thought they worked at the reception venue! We absolutely love her and hope all couples choose her and her team at Happy Hour Hostess!

Y'all, Carrie and her team at The Happy Hostess are amazing and worth every penny! Carrie helped coordinate our wedding last month and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! She helped run our rehearsal and made sure every member of our rowdy bridal party knew where they needed to be. She was there early on wedding day to set up all of our wedding decorations and stayed late to clean everything up. We explained our vision to Carrie and how we wanted everything arranged and she executed it beautifully! It was such a great feeling going into our wedding weekend knowing we were in such great hands. The only thing we were responsible for was enjoying our wedding! Due to weather, we had to make a last minute change to an indoor ceremony and Carrie made it happen in a snap! She was able to quickly rearrange our outdoor ceremony decorations to work indoors and the set up was incredible.
Carrie was so helpful during the planning process as well. She was always available for questions and advice. If I had a last minute question about a vendor, she was only a quick phone call or text message away.
If you are on the hunt for a wedding coordinator, Carrie is your girl! We are so grateful for all her help during our wedding. She truly goes above and beyond and is worth every penny!

From their detailed scheduling to their strong relationship with our vendors. They made sure everything was done according to our contracts.
Carrie has a well trained hands on team. There was someone taking charge at both the venue and the church. I loved that on the morning of the wedding while the bride and her party were getting hair and makeup, Mallory texted us pictures of the venue after it was set up. At the reception, she was there from beginning to end running the show.
I truly enjoyed every moment because I didn’t have to worry about anything. I strongly recommend The Happy Hour Hostess for your event!

Carrie and her team were by far the best vendor we worked with during our wedding. She was super helpful in planning for the wedding and a star during our wedding. We had an Indian wedding with over 550 people and 5 different events, spaced across 3 days. For those that have ever been to an Indian wedding know things never go on time, but not at our wedding, thanks to Carrie! Not only were the major events planned out and executed in a timely manner but things such as getting breakfast ready by X time and getting decorations from vendor A into location B by Y time, was all perfectly executed. We had to move our wedding inside due to rain and everyone knows how stressful it is to go to make such large changes on the day before your big day. Also, accommodating for the amount of guests we had added extra stress. However, we were super thankful to have Carrie and her team with us! They took the stress away not just from me and my wife but from our families.
Carrie has really good relationships with the vendors in the VB area. This made it so all of our vendors worked really well together. We had some issues with our venue and Carrie was on our side fighting for what needed to happen, especially for all the last minute changes. My family and I would HIGHLY recommend The Happy Hour Hostess. It's super important to have someone handle all the coordination on your special day, so that you and your family can enjoy!

Let me preface this by saying that my wife is in the event coordinating/planning industry, so Carrie and crew probably started with a little bit of an uphill battle. However, Carrie far surpassed any and all expectations that we had! We hired her for month-of services and got much more than that. Carrie took the time to get to know us and our vision for our big day and then followed through with precision and attention to detail that surpassed our high expectations. Beyond ensuring that we got exactly what we wanted out of the dozen or so vendors we hired, Carrie became a confidant and someone that we could bounce ideas off of and get the value of her experience expressed in all of the little details that we knew would sneak up on us as the wedding approached. She truly became the conduit through which our dream came alive. Both of us took a couple of days off work prior to the wedding with the expectation that we would be really busy and finalizing details and putting out fires…but I found myself with nothing to do (except spend time with all of our guests who traveled to celebrate with us). Carrie took the load off as the day approached so that we could spend the time we wanted to with the people we love.
As for the actual day-of, Carrie was a rock star. Her calming presence was absolutely reassuring and she made us feel positive that everything was going to be perfect. By the time the ceremony and reception came around, she actually knew some of the people’s personalities in our wedding party. She’s super observant and had great input throughout the process. If you’ve read this far, then you should already know this but, you should absolutely 100% use Carrie and HHH as your coordinator and planner.

I am an event planner for a local university but I knew on my wedding day I did not want to do one thing. And because of Carrie and her team I was able to enjoy my wedding day. She made sure every detail was perfect and that I even had the best DJ (and we like to party so that was a necessity).

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Carrie and her team. I knew when we met her instantly she was going to be the person we needed to help plan our wedding. We hired Carrie for Month of Corridnation and to do our florals. Carrie was there not just for the month but throughout the entire process and always was very welcoming and helpful. I told my husband what I loved the most about Carrie was how genuine she was and wasn’t trying to upsell us to something else just because it was our wedding. Everything went off without a hitch even getting last minute heaters for outside for our 36 degree wedding day. Carrie also designed our florals for us. She did an AMAZING job and really took the time with us at the floral shop to pick the exact flowers and look we were going for. Carrie is the best vendor to book for your wedding. Carrie was so on top of things, she coordinated with all of our vendors taking that stress off of us. She not only made everything run so smoothly but she went above and beyond what I would consider her call of duty.
