Me and my husband had the most amazing experience with the Lesner Inn for our small wedding. From start to finish they did everything to make our day so beautiful. The venue itself is stunning, but what really and the day so amazing was the work of their amazing staff. They worked with us on pricing, for where we held our ceremony (upstairs when our reception was downstairs), our coordinator Emily answered emails in minutes, was extremely kind and went out of her way to be helpful. The staff on the day of set up everything beautifully, brought campaign to our bridal suite, and gave us AMAZING service during our seated dinner. Speaking of the dinner, the food was AMAZING, no, it was really AMAZING. I know that wedding venues stereotypically have not very good food but this is NOT the case here. It was better than most five star meals I’ve ever had. People constantly came up to us telling us how amazing the food was (we had crab stuffed flounder and steak). I just can’t say enough good things about this place or our event coordinator Emily who kept me on track with everything as someone who knows very little about weddings! It was just such an amazing day and if you need somewhere reliable, beautiful, and attentive for your wedding please book here ❤️.

Lesner Inn isn't just a stunning venue; their expert team members were the brains behind an experience that our guests have yet to stop talking about. They went above and beyond to make sure that our party of 240 were accommodated and treated like VIP. Alexis and Emily were quick to answer all of our questions from the beginning of our planning stages, all the way to our big day. Not only did they communicate well, but they always communicated with an energy and excitement that was contagious and certainly helped to alleviate the stress or anxiety around planning a wedding. When I say that Alexis knows how to host a memorable party, I mean it! Her suggestions and ideas, be it the small details or immediate solutions, helped to create an event that far exceeded both of our families’ expectations. As if the panoramic views of the Lynnhaven Inlet were not beautiful enough, Lesner Inn recently renovated their interior, and it looks fabulous. You will hardly need the extra decor in a place that looks like this on its own. Last but not least, the food was delicious! I was lucky enough to have had time to eat (almost) my entire plate that the staff kindly prepared for me and my husband. If you’re still looking for a Hampton Roads venue on the water with an exceptional team, look no further. Alexis, Emily, and Lesner Inn team, we had a blast! We cannot thank you enough!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue. It was gorgeous and had just undergone renovations before our big day which looked amazing. Emily was fabulous and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was a rockstar for the day-of coordination and took over communication with vendors the week beforehand which was fabulous. We could not have asked for a more smooth wedding day and the food was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend the Lesner Inn for any events both for the food and for the venue

Emily and Alexis were so easy to work with, and everything went seamlessly on the wedding day. They are the absolute dolls to plan the wedding with, and the venue is gorgeous. Our guests were in awe of how lovely it was! Perfect place to hold your wedding, whether intimate or more extensive. The food was delicious, and the venue was very affordable. Everyone had a fantastic time!

I cannot rave enough about our wedding at the Lesner Inn on 9/10/22. As soon as we toured the venue we knew it was the perfect location for the wedding- the views are stunning and the building is clean and beautiful. We planned our wedding out of state so the all-inclusive style of this venue made that very easy. We worked with Emily and Alexis who were our day of coordinators & they were a dream team. After meeting with them we felt at ease, and they were always very communicative. They took my vision for the day and brought it to life, they kept my planning on track, and they made sure my husband and I were taken care of all night. I never went without food or a drink in my hand. Many of our guests raved about the food, especially the hors' doeuvres. The welcome cocktail was the perfect touch. Emily made the cleanup and entire process so seamless for us. I wish we could relive the day over and over, and will always recommend the Lesner Inn to any of our friends & family.

My husband and I held our wedding here this past June, and we cannot recommend this place enough!! We made our initial plans pre-covid, and they were super understanding and flexible when we had to reschedule twice due to the pandemic. The venue was beautiful and we were thrilled with how everything went. We’re especially appreciative of Emily and Noelle, both of whom worked incredibly hard throughout and on the day of, and were always kind and accommodating. Our wedding was a success especially due to their hard work! A huge huge thank you to them and all the staff at the Lesner for making our wedding day that much more special!

My husband and I were married here on December 3, 2022. The venue is gorgeous, and we had the entire space. The ceremony on the outside deck was perfect - even in December! Everyone raved about the hors d'oeuvres and drinks during the cocktail hour. The staff was fantastic and fast to get the food to the guests at dinner and clear things away. The food was absolutely delicious! Some folks even said the filet was better than they had ever had in a restaurant! The entire night was magical and we would highly recommend the venue and Emily!

Absolutely loved this venue, everything about it really helped to make our special day perfect! Emily helped us from our initial meeting to the big day! She was great and really went out of her way to meet with us when it worked for us. Could not have planned our wedding without her! The appetizers were truly to die for! They recently renovated, adding some great touches to their already amazing space. They also have so many options to really customize what you want for your wedding! Highly recommend!

Ok, there are not enough words and time to express how grateful I am to the team at Lesner Inn and Emily H.!! My husband was deployed for all 10 months of wedding planning, he came home 2 weeks before our 9/30/22 wedding (after multiple extensions and a lot of gray hairs), and to top it off Hurricane Ian decided to make an appearance the actual day of our reception! Emily and the team at Lesner made sure the day was nothing but PERFECT for us!! Emily felt like my wedding coordinator, she was so detailed, professional, easy to communicate with, positive, and so sweet! It was truly a pleasure to work with her throughout the planning process. She made sure no stone was left unturned and it was seriously the best night of our lives! Despite the hurricane and insane weather, everyone showed up on time, Lesner never lost power, and we are still getting rave reviews today about the wonderful staff and bartenders! Our guests honestly forgot there was a hurricane outside! We utilized the entire venue (upstairs & downstairs) and it was so dreamy and welcoming! Everything was set-up exactly as we had planned and they turned our dream into a reality. My only complaint was that we could've stayed and partied all night there!! Thank you, Lesner Inn!! HIGHLY recommend!

MOB here...and one that is hard to please. Lesner Inn was top notch. My daughter's wedding was like a fairy tale. The food, the setting, the contracting process, the ideas, the cost. No hard sell, no nickel and dimeing, no disappointments. They responded to my many questions promptly and followed up on every request. The venue is beautiful. Even the bathrooms! No detail is overlooked. My single complaint is that the food was so good at the tasting, we couldn't decide on a menu! If I had one recommendation to give...it would to be to hire Noelle for your day of planner. She is amazing.. I mean AMAZING. Efficient, organized, present, sweet and always in the background orchestrating everything. She has a calming effect on everyone and she made our vision a reality. I wish I could give Lesner Inn and Noelle more stars. One thing that I would do over...hire a videographer so that I could watch the wedding and reception every day.

My husband and I highly recommend the Lesner Inn as a ceremony and wedding venue! One of the things that first drew us to this location was how inclusive (chairs, linens, food and beverage, and even coordination), affordable, and well connected it was. When we saw the view and met with the staff, we were sold. Now that we've had the wedding, we could not be more pleased. Noelle, our coordinator, was so great to work with and went above and beyond to make things easier on us. The atmosphere of the ceremony and wedding couldn't have been better either, and several of our guests told us that it was one of the most beautiful views they had ever seen for a wedding ceremony! Definitely recommend this spot for any wedding--it was perfect for an intimate event like ours!

We planned a surprise party here for an executive at CV International. We could NOT have been successful without the help of Lindsey Basnight and the team at the Lesner Inn. Lindsey was not even working the event and still handled every detail with ease and grace. The venue was very accommodating and the Waterside Deck was exactly what we needed for our party. My husband and I just got married at the Lesner Inn (April 2022) and we could not recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in and toured, we knew this was the venue for us. The location and view is STUNNING and the ladies that work there are very sweet, welcoming, and tremendously helpful! Noelle is so fabulous and made my life so much easier when it came time to plan our wedding- she took care of all the details and made our wedding vision come to life! The venue has all you need- ceremony space, cocktail hour space, and reception space. Food and beverages are made there so there's no worry in finding a catering company. They provide the tables, chairs, and linens. The Lesner Inn really is one big package deal and we couldn't recommend them enough for your next event!

We recently had our wedding at the Lesner Inn and it far exceeded our expectations. We thought Covid was going to cause me and my wife to postpone our wedding but the restrictions lifted enough to have the amount of guests we wanted. Noelle was excellent to work with from day one helping us plan the details and make sure we had everything we needed on our big day. Alexis was our day of coordinator and let me tell you she went above and beyond making sure the ceremony and reception flowed smoothly and that me and my wife had all that we needed the entire time. I can not say enough about this venue. If you or one of your friends are looking to book a venue for a wedding don't waste your time looking at other venues, just go with Lesner Inn.

If you are having an indoor wedding, especially in the winter, look no further! There is nothing else like this and at such a good value in the Hampton Roads area. The venue is best if you rent out the whole thing (upstairs and downstairs). There is a beautiful view as it is right on the water ... it is gorgeous at sunset!!! The service is unbeatable, as well. The coordinators at the venue, Lauren & Meredith are amazing! They are always available and go above and beyond to be accommodating and make your wedding exactly how you want it. For example, I really wanted pink champagne to match my color scheme and they ordered it especially for our wedding! We were always able to visit the venue and check things out during planning. There is a neutral palate which lends itself well to customizing for your wedding. The rental prices, which were lower in the off-season, were very reasonable and included the very nice chairs, all the tables, plates/silverware, and house linens. They do have specialty linens available to rent, which is very convenient. Parking is also not an issue. The food was great, too! All of our guests commented how much they liked everything. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue and its staff were for our winter wedding!!!

We had our daughter's wedding here about 6 months ago. I can say that it was absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere was great. Liz helped us plan everything up to the wedding day. She was very thorough and professional, but unfortunately she wasn't able to be there during the reception so some requests were not passed on or missed by the new person. My only big complaint was the food left much to be desired. We did a buffet and we literally had to mash the potatoes up before scooping- I am thankful we were the first thru the line- the potatoes were hard on the top and most of the food was cool. We ordered the lemon piccata chicken and it was dry, was missing the lemon sauce on it (just tasted like herb chicken) and was cool to the point the grandmothers came and complained to us. We paid for at least 4 appetizers, and requested 3 of those passed around. A majority of our guests only saw the one appetizer that we had set out on the table (we literally spoke to many of the guests after the wedding and they were shocked to hear we had more than one...they literally only saw one appetizer- When you pay for it and guests think you only had one little thing to nibble on THAT IS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT -we had hoped it was just us who only saw the one as we had gotten there before the appetizers were scheduled to be served...IF all the remainder of the appetizers were served, it must have been only for a couple minutes in one area . I suggest anyone who uses this venue to realize that the food you sample prior to the wedding when picking the menu will be the best it will taste so if you aren't thrilled at the tasting please don't expect that it will get better. If you do appetizers have THEM ALL set out not served...at least you will know the guests have the opportunity to sample them all.

All I can say is FABULOUS!! I am the marketing coordinator for an amazing company in Virginia Beach. We decided to switch things up this year and host a party for the people who make us, us. Through all the stress (unnecessary stress that is), all of the changes, all of the questions, and the uncertainty, it came together perfectly. Alexis (coordinator) went above and beyond to ensure that our event went off without a glitch, she kept myself and others calm in the midst of the storm, she kept a clear head and made sure that everything was exactly what we asked for.
