Kelsey is nothing short of amazing. We originally had planned to get married in May 2022, but due to circumstances out of our control we had to push our wedding to October. This means we worked with Kelsey and her team for the better part of a year on our special day. After a wedding, all couples are sad that it's over and wish they could go back but is it weird that we wish we could keep working with Kelsey even after the wedding?! She's that wonderful. I truly wish that every bride/groom could hire her because her attention to detail and communication is what made us always feel confident that we were in good hands. We loved having phone calls with her because she is personable, kind, funny, and most of all she's honest. She will tell you when something is unrealistic, however she will never judge if there's a specific element that you want to add to your special day. The weekend of our wedding, Kelsey's team worked tirelessly to make sure that we were all taken care of. She made sure that my husband and I were not bothered by anything other than just being present for our day. It was predicted to rain on our wedding day and before we even mentioned anything, Kelsey already had a plan B. If you or anyone you know have the opportunity to work with Kelsey, she is worth every penny for your peace of mind and guarantee that you'll have a beautiful event.

Posting this on behalf of my mom who wrote the following: Kelsey was spectacular in every way! We simply could not have had such a beautiful wedding without her. Like many brides in 2019, 2020, 2021, the Covid wreaked havoc with our plans, but with Kelsey by our side, we were able to navigate the myriad of necessary changes needed (including not three wedding date changes). As a result, our daughter’s wedding day went flawlessly. Because of Kelsey, we were able to enjoy the wedding, relaxing and celebrating with friends and family! Kelsey is a creative problem solver. Faced with an indoor mask mandate two weeks before and an outdoor mask mandate three days before, Kelsey completely reworked the layout for the wedding, which included moving the ceremony and dancing outside. This presented a new problem, a 10 pm noise curfew. Kelsey quickly suggested a “silent disco” that became one of the highlights of the evening. Kelsey connected immediately to our daughter and to us. She had the ability to instantly put us at ease when challenges popped up. She has a great resource of the very best vendors in all categories, and an outstanding team behind her. We were blown away at prototype day where we were able to see a full tablescape with linens, table settings, menus, and florals. And we were completely blown away on the day of, which was absolutely jaw-droppingly spectacular (see photos attached). So many people have commented on every detail of the wedding, wanting to know who did the flowers, the cake, the signage, to everything! Without a doubt, hiring Kelsey was the best decision we made for our wedding. Let me give you an example. The day before our wedding in Palm Springs, I was laying by the pool for the better part of the day- sipping cocktails and spending time with friends and family. Unbeknownst to me, Kelsey and her team were finding a tent big enough for our 220+ guests due to an unexpected rain storm predicted to hit on our wedding day…29 vendors later (!) they found the most beautiful clear tent. Kelsey led her team and vendors to shift the overall design scheme, and the results were stunning. I could not even imagine getting through the planning process without Kelsey there to answer all my questions. My mom pulled me aside the night of the wedding to comment on how flawlessly the day went and how Kelsey led everything with such poise and grace amid the rain storm and a major change in plans—I couldn’t have agreed more. I just can’t emphasize enough how little stress I felt leading up to the wedding, and particularly the wedding weekend – I was able to sit back and relax and enjoy spending time with my loved ones who traveled so far to be with us. You can 100% trust Kelsey with every aspect of your wedding—from vendor recommendations, venue locations, design layouts, website, invitation suites, day of coordination, you name it she can do it. I had complete peace of mind once we hired her, and the wedding was more than I could have ever dreamed and it would not have been possible without her and her amazing team. If you are considering a wedding planner, hire Kelsey. If you are not considering a planner and think you can do it solo, just hire Kelsey. She is worth every penny.

They made the day as stress free as possible and were so easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding. After interviewing 11 wedding planners in Oregon and California, my decision was easy when I met with Kelsey. The Vanity Affairs Team is professional, thoughtful, and hard working.
