I rented the space for my Mom's Celebration of Life, and it was a fantastic venue for it. It went beautifully, and they had everything set up exactly as discussed before the vendors arrived. Bridgette was very helpful, and did a lot of work in the background to help me get everything put together in only a month. In the scheme of nice venues, the price tag was quite reasonable. I'd consider it for another event.

We had our wedding at TGC and it was so perfect! I wanted something more unique than a ballroom and their floor to ceiling windows created this with views of the garden, Tampa bay, and even a gorgeous sunset. We had our cocktail hour and reception here, all indoors to not worry about FL heat/rain. Their staff was very helpful and we loved that there was a stage for our DJ/musicians and photo booth to not take up tables/dance floor space. We also utilized the foyer with a TV to play a video my sister made for the event for guests to see. You can utilize minimal decor with this venue and still have a beautiful event!

We hosted our wedding at the Tampa Garden Club and it was an amazing day! We had both our ceremony and reception here, and Bridget and the staff were able to accommodate everything. I absolutely loved the clean slate this venue provides for a bride and groom to get creative with how they want the space to look. Both the inside and outside space lended themselves perfectly for all of our 150 guests. It was the most beautiful day ever!

This venue was perfect for our wedding in every way! From tour day to wedding day, Bridget was so friendly and personable, and knowledgeable and efficient. When we made multiple appointments in the building with our decorators, Bridget was always happy to be on hand to answer questions while being so patient with all of our questions and letting us take our time to visualize; she also had great recommendations for various vendors. The building itself is a beautiful canvas with which we made our vision come to life, and the outdoor areas and view of the bay were gorgeous for photos too. We didn't want to deal with weather possibilities (Florida being renowned for heat and/or sudden rain), so we planned from the start to have the ceremony in the Conservatory room, which still gave us a stunning view of the lovely garden just outside the window wall while keeping our guests comfortable. Both the Conservatory and main Banquet Hall spaces were more than plenty for our 80-guest event with plenty of room to spare, the high ceilings gave us a space that felt open and uncramped, and neutral colors throughout made it very easy to adapt the space to our colors and theme. Logistically, the vendor load-in is very convenient for them, guest parking is plenteous and easy, and all of the facilities are well-maintained and clean. The rental price was very reasonable for our budget, and we got top-notch service from Bridget through the booking and lead-up, as well as from Beth on the day of the event. On the day we toured, my then-fiancé and I immediately fell in love with this venue; we stopped looking at other places and never looked back, and we could not have been happier with this choice. Thank you to Bridget, Beth, and everyone at Tampa Garden Club!

Highly recommend Tampa Garden Club for your wedding or next celebration. The venue is PERFECTLY located right off of Bayshore Blvd. which is close to just about anything you want to do or see in the Tampa Bay Area. Bridget is WONDERFUL to work with! She's very informative, prompt to reply back to questions and just so incredibly kind to vendors, staff and couples who are planning their big day. This venue checks off all of the boxes from a wedding planner perspective. The ceremony space is a well manicured garden filled tropical foliage and plants which makes for incredible photos. The cocktail space can be both indoor/outdoor and the reception hall is perfect for a large event! The space is also SO CLEAN and cared for.

We chose this venue for our reception and we were so glad we chose them!! Bridget was absolutely wonderful and helpful in every way! She was very helpful in our choosing vendors who knew the venue, and in helping us sort out our floor plan. The view from those windows during the sunset is worth every penny. What a beautiful backdrop to a beautiful day. What I especially loved was that the venue acts as a blank space for our vision to come to life. Would absolutely recommend!

When we were in between appointments to look at venues for our upcoming wedding, my then-fiance and I decided to swing by the Tampa Garden Club for a quick look. As an event was about to start being wet up, Wanda gave us an expedited tour and answered our questions. That was all we needed -- we were in love (again). It's a beautiful space that can accommodate a lot of people at a great price for those on a budget, so we booked it shortly after. As we got closer to the big day, I was able to reach out to Wanda with anything that came up, and she was a wonderful resource. She was so quick to respond to emails and was obviously looking out to make sure everything was done in our best interests. She understood we were doing a lot of DIY projects and really came through for us to make sure everything went off without a hitch! Even on the day of our wedding, at the end of July, she stopped by and brought my bridesmaids and I a fan to help keep us cool while we got ready! Our wedding was beautiful, and we loved that we were able to have such a lovely space while still working with the vendors that we wanted to. All of our guests commented on how gorgeous it was. We would definitely recommend the space to anyone looking for a Tampa area venue that has it all!

She went above and beyond to make sure the venue was safe yet fully functional. She was so professional yet personable. The venue is beautiful and the view is perfect for a wedding reception. Professional staff, great communication, and an absolutely gorgeous venue. They are very strict about certain things but also VERY upfront about their expectations. I helped my friends who live out of state plan their wedding here last weekend and they absolutely loved it. Hire a good team because you get pretty limited time for set up and breakdown or be prepared to budget additional hours on top of the 9 consecutive hours they contract for (4 for set up, 4 for event, and 1 for breakdown) Bridget and Ava were a pleasure to work with! I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to hold an indoor/ outdoor event.

We had our wedding at the Tampa Garden Club in March 2019 and I cannot recommend it enough! Finding a venue was one of the most difficult tasks my husband and I had planning our wedding, but when we finally toured the Tampa Garden Club, we knew we had found the perfect fit. Located right near the water on Bayshore, the lush grounds provide the perfect tropical, floral Florida environment at its best. The indoor space is large and provides the perfect "blank slate" environment to create whatever vision you have for your event come to life. We hosted 125 guests and had a sizable dance floor. We held our ceremony outside in the garden, but there is plenty of space inside for a backup plan in case of rain, as well. Tampa Garden Club is affordable for all budgets, and both Wanda and Bridget helped us tremendously with recommendations and expertise to help our day meet all of our expectations. Communication and professionalism from both were top notch. We are so thankful to have found the Tampa Garden Club for our wedding!

Wanda is absolutely amazing and made my wedding day perfect. She went above and beyond and assisted with WHATEVER I needed. When I had an issue with a vendor and asked for her advice she just went and handled it. Exceptional customer service. She partnered great with my day of coordinator and was extremely considerate to any request we had. She is talented and truly passionate about her job. Portia is the exact same, they are a great pair. I am so thankful to both of them as the venue alone is beautiful and the people inside are as well. I visited here with my family a few weeks ago to check out this venue for my cousin's wedding. We didn't end up choosing this place however, it is BEAUTIFUL, and priced well. The view is wonderful and the building is well lighted. It's a clean slate and is open to interpretation (in terms of decor). Wanda is amazing and I recommend anyone to check this place out if they're looking to renew vows, or have a wedding.

The Tampa Bay Garden club is a great venue, it’s affordable and leaves you with a lot of options to plan the wedding of your dreams. I would definitely recommend this venue, the staff was very nice and professional, they also gave great recommendations for local vendors! Overall my husband and I are very happy we went with this venue and happy to have worked with Wanda and Portia!

I gave every vendor 5 stars because they all made my day special in so many ways. The venue however, was the worst experience. Still not horrible...it was a beautiful place. It accommodated all my guest for a fair price. Leading up to the event and after however were a different story. I received 4 contracts before they got it right. Yes, I had to send the contract back exactly 4 times due to errors. SO READ CAREFULLY. Wanda was a bit snappy to me but I let it slide. After they got my money, she got even snappier. She said I was the easiest bride to deal with because I was so organized, but unfortunately, I could not say the same about her. She would not take things she requested from me early. I would send them and she would send it back saying she doesn't need it yet. She would send emails that had nothing to do with me and ask for things (due next day) that she never requested. Luckily I had those things. I constantly felt like they were trying to get one over on me. Dealing with her was a rollercoaster. It may be due to their lack of staffing but it was really a pain to deal with. Lastly, they ask for a refundable deposit and they are sure to take an insane amount of money out of it. They took $238 for "excessive spills". I do not recall "excessive spills" as I made my way across the venue after everyone left. They just purely want to take what they can from you. Anyway, they did not ruin my day, they just got my $238 in the end.

They were not set up on time for the wedding dinner! I was a bit taken back by the bartender wearing booty shorts ; cheeks hanging out at a formal wedding while all the rest of the staff were dressed appropriately! Setting outside was beautiful

We are so happy we chose Tampa Garden Club as our wedding venue! We were looking for a venue where we could have a ceremony outside and then our cocktail hour and reception inside all at the same location and TGC is perfect for this type of wedding. The outside garden area is beautiful for the ceremony and you cannot beat the Bayshore Boulevard photo opportunities for your portraits and bridal party photos! Wanda was our point person for all things TGC related and she is awesome! I am an out-of-town bride and she gave my mom a tour as she was scouting venues for me and then also gave me a tour when I was in town. She is very friendly, goes above and beyond, and will always return your phone calls and emails and answer any questions that you may have. Our security guard, Anthony, was also great at making sure everything stayed in order at our wedding. I have no regrets about TGC except for choosing to go with a wedding planner/decorator from their preferred vendor list who completely dropped the ball on our wedding day (see my review of Ideal Design Events). However, their failures had nothing to do with the amazing people and service we received from TGC.
