My husband and I were married on 5/21/2022. Two months before our wedding our original coordinator backed out. I was so incredibly stressed out. Tammy came very highly recommended so I called her and felt immediate relief. Having never hired a coordinator before I realized that the original person I was working with had no clue what they were doing. Tammy & Brittany were on top of everything ensuring that our wedding day went without any hiccups. They worked with all of my vendors and for the first time in over a year, I felt helped. The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect, Brittany was a literal angel and was there for everything and anything we needed. There wasn't one stressful moment on that day and I honestly couldn't be more thankful or speak any higher of these two women and the company itself. I have been meaning to write this post for almost two years, and because Tammy is just that AWESOME, I have to share our experience with you. My (destination) wedding was planned for 4/4/2020, around the start of the pandemic. Given the uncertainty of our vendors and guest availability, we postponed our ceremony with family/friends to a later date. Tammy was amazing with helping me and hubby arrange a small, private ceremony so that we could keep our April date. It was special and she did a spectacular job with making everything go so seamlessly. With all the uncertainty with logistics, she did not overlook a single thing! I would recommend Special Moments Event Planning to any/everyone. She is friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, and willing to go the extra mile for her clients. We appreciate you, Tammy!

I'd seriously give them 6 stars if I could. From the very moment Tammy agreed to meet us at the last minute, to the end of the reception, Special Moments went above and beyond. Planning a destination can be stressful but their communication and recommendations were exceptional from start to finish. Tammy has a lot of connections in the area, and it made it so much easier for us. Our coordinator, Brittany, made sure everything was perfect. She kept us on schedule and took care of all the vendor coordination for us. I'd highly recommend anyone that is getting married to hire a coordinator, it's someone you know will always have your back and best interest. They even decorated our suite at the end of the night for us which we had no idea, but greatly appreciated. They truly make you feel special.

Our wedding would not have happened if it wasn’t for Tammy and her Team! Booking Special Moments was the best decision we made. Tammy was attentive from day one even when we didn’t have a venue or date picked. She helped us decide on a venue and worked with us to carefully build the perfect team of photography, videography, and design. She truly never missed a beat. When our original venue was damaged by Hurricane Ian and our wedding was cancelled three weeks before our wedding date, Tammy took over in calling multiple venues so we could keep our original wedding date. This stressful and emotional time was quickly resolved with so much grace and empathy, I cannot imagine what would have happened if we had not had hired her. The day of our wedding was spent enjoying each other and our family and friends without needing to think twice that everything was not taken care of! Without exaggeration, Tammy and her team did not miss anything for our destination wedding at Oxford Exchange that was one week after hurricane Ian. Our goal was to show up to the wedding and not worry about anything and that was all made possible because of the effort and care this team put into our day. We got the Fairy Godmother package and it was worth every penny; Tammy recommended and booked great vendors, coordinated and attended all virtual and in-person meetings with vendors, created and printed all materials for the day of, and dealt with our families nonstop questions about hotel blocks. Tammy and her team literally made our wedding day dreams come true.

Where do I even begin! If you are getting married locally or are a bride from out of state doing a destination wedding, you NEED to hire Tammy Waterman. My sister got married on 10/15/21. She hired Tammy because her primary residence is in MD and she needed help coordinating pretty much EVERYTHING due to a very hectic work and travel schedule. I had the opportunity to work closely with Tammy for 5 months during the planning process and she is the most organized, professional, dedicated, hard working, down to earth (and I could go on and on) person I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Her years of experience in the business were apparent from the get go and she is always one step ahead with recommendations to make your wedding perfect. I honestly don't know what I would have done without the support of Tammy and her team to help plan my sister's wedding from 1,000 miles away. Tammy works with the best and most reliable vendors while keeping your budget in mind at all times. She eliminated so much stress because I knew I could trust her with even the smallest details. Hiring Tammy was the best decision we made regarding the planning process! Tammy is incredibly knowledgeable and connected with the best vendors. She made planning and then replanning our wedding – since we had to delay our wedding by 5 months – so much less stressful. She recommended the best vendors, gave us great advice on how to save money, and was incredibly supportive through the whole process – especially with navigating changing our date and original plans due to COVID. Tammy carefully executed our wedding vision exactly the way we wanted it – down to the very last detail. I cannot say enough good things about Tammy and her team. My husband and I planned our big, dream wedding in March and Tammy made every part of the process seamless. But, as a pandemic bride, restrictions required us to cancel our big day and re-plan a much smaller, private ceremony to keep everyone we love safe from COVID. Tammy helped me make all of the changes and coordinate with vendors. I really couldn't have gotten through this without her. While I acquired most of the vendors prior to reaching out to Special Moments, they made sure nothing fell through the cracks! Special Moments also printed our menu cards and seating chart, which were both perfect! Tammy and her team, Cameron and Melissa, did a wonderful job as day of coordinator! They prepared, executed, and wrapped up everything in a nice little package that was my wedding day. I cannot thank you enough for all the hard work and help in making the day go smoothly. Where do I even begin? Tammy has been there for me since day one of our planning process. I met her years ago when she planned my sisters wedding, and since then has planned so many friends weddings. Not only is she knowledgable, but she is so honest! I can not begin to say enough about this company. With almost 3 weeks left to our wedding, Tammy and Jennifer and her assistants did EVERYTHING to make our day EASY, BREEZY and BEAUTIFUL. Jennifer listened to EVERYTHING we said, and she put it all into action. She was responsive to EVERYTHING, she was in constant contact with us and made sure that OUR needs were met, and they were absolutely met!!!!! They're inexpensive, and they are worth MUCH MUCH more. Hiring Tammy and her team was the best decision my husband and I made. We got married last Friday 11.13.20 and it couldn’t have gone more seamlessly. I had started off planning the wedding myself and quickly learned with the first Covid rescheduled navigating it on our own wasn’t something I was going to be able to do. We really wanted to not have a care in the world on our wedding day. I reached out to Tammy and she made me feel reassured that everything was going to workout. She spent over an hour talking to me on the phone, more than any other event planner I reached out to. Tammy jumped right in and took over everything. Any question I had she was already on it. This review is coming way too late, but better late than never. Tammy Waterman and her team literally made our wedding flawless. If you are like me and have something in mind, but lack the true vision she makes your dreams come to life. My husband and I got married the Saturday after thanksgiving. Tammy helped us plan our thanksgiving dinner, Friday rehearsal, and Saturday wedding. When we walked into the venue, we could not believe how gorgeous she made it. She helped us every step of the way, including recommending wedding dress shops, other vendors such as a florist, photographer, caterer, band, and DJ. She worked so seamless with all vendors. Also, day of, she took all the pressure off of me. She helped with time check, flipping the room during cocktail hour, and dealt with all the random last second issues, like people bringing children when they did not RSVP, kindly asking the wedding crashers to leave (yes, that is a real thing). I could not recommend her and her team more highly. You will not regret it! Thanks Tammy! We love you!!!

Tammy at Special Moments was a dream come true for us. We chose her package that was a little more than day-of planning only. I reached out to her so many times while I was putting all of the plans together to get her advice and ask for help on making certain decisions. Every single time I talked to her she gave me perfect answers, great advice, and just made me feel so confident in what I was doing. The day of the wedding we were so afraid of the rain that was predicted exactly during my ceremony on the beach. She specifically said to me "you don't need to worry until I tell you to worry"...basically taking that burden off my shoulders. She handled everything so perfectly and helped make my vision a reality. Also every other vendor we worked with raved about what a great choice we had made with Tammy and how much they enjoyed working with her. I would recommend her to anyone getting married in the Clearwater/Tampa area. She is a dream come true.

Tammy and her team were amazing from start to finish. I have been a part of weddings that did not have planner, which seemed in all events to put a huge amount of stress and pressure on the bride and bridal party. She made the planning process effortless, and was even there the day of the rehearsal dinner as well as the brunch the morning after the wedding which kept it organized and allowed us to truly enjoy our weekend. I would recommend going with her full package, which is the most expensive, but worth every penny. Her full package allows access to her extensive inventory of decor which was a major cost savings for us. The savings we accrued from the vendor discounts she was able to negotiate and use of wedding decor (which we never would have used again), nearly offset her planning fees. Weddings are not cheap, and usually a huge investment for most, so don't leave such an important day of your life up to chance. If you're not sure a planner is within your budget, Tammy even offers payment plans. She is experienced and extremely knowledgeable at what she does. Take some stress off yourself and hire Tammy. :-)
