Patricia and her team did an absolutely amazing job planning and bringing my entire vision to life on my wedding day. Patricia doesn’t forget anything! If I said I wanted something at the wedding 6 months prior she makes it happen on the day of. She and her crew were so kind and helpful throughout the entire process. I will recommend her to every bride I know.

We hired Patricia and her team for my day of coordinator for my wedding but she turned into so much more! Patricia helped me plan every little detail of my wedding, helped me with everything I needed, and had amazing vendor recommendations. I ended up using Patricia for all my decorations, and with just a few Pinterest pictures and multiple conversations, she turned my venue into everything I had imagined! She is so very knowledgeable and pays attention to every little detail, I can’t thank her enough for all that they did! You will not be disappointed with this company, I cannot recommend them enough!

If you don’t want to be just another wedding to a wedding planner…then you need to hire Dev-it! Patricia will give you 100 per cent and more. She doesn’t count hours; she responds to texts/emails in good time and she’s wants your wedding to be perfect!! She offers desserts; decor and florals so that you are dealing with one person rather than 3 different vendors. Her prices are very fair. She actually gave us a credit because the flowers cost less than anticipated…who does that? Tabitha was wonderful…stood by the bride 24/7.

There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Patricia and her team! She has a true gift and calling for this! She helped us with my bridal shower, and my reception (decor and catering). She puts her sweat and tears into your event…and the DETAIL…..is mind blowing! she thinks of things you’d never think of, so you don’t have to!! She does it all!!!! She met us where we were financially, and gave more than any other company would have!!! she goes ABOVE AND BEYOND what you ask for. It’s her passion and it showed. Just so future clients can see this right away, trust me you will not find two people who will work harder than Patricia and John. We hired Devit Weddings when we hit an all time low in our wedding planning process. With their undeniable expertise and professionalism we booked a new venue and planned the wedding of our dreams! Here are some of the key points of what made our process so amazing with them: 1. Communication was great from the beginning to end. She always returned our messages or questions within a timely manner, even on her busiest of days she would always get back to us. 2. Their ability to get creative with whatever you desire for your theme. She’ll float ideas with you and it’s such a fun process. 3. The network of people she had to provide for our event. 4. The way the seamlessly bonded with our personally hired vendors. Overall the Devit Weddings & Events team did everything and more of what we asked for. Truly people told us at the end of the night it was one of the best weddings they attended. I really can’t thank them enough for what they put together for us. Thank you Patricia and John!

We found out about Dev-It at a bridal expo in Tampa. Hiring Patricia and John turned out to be one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The next day after we contacted them, Patricia started working with us to set up meetings with vendors and work out a general idea of what needed to be done. She handled everything before the wedding and the day-of with ease. Patricia chose the perfect decorations for our wedding and she worked tirelessly with us on every decision. They also provided our meals for guests, our cocktail hour food, the bar, and our wedding cake plus desserts! Patricia seamlessly navigated us through the day and let us focus on ourselves and our guests. The day was absolutely perfect and it was a real pleasure working with their company.

Dev-it Wedding and Events is a shining star in the world of weddings, especially if you're overwhelmed and unsure of how to get started with planning your wedding like we were. We meet them at a wedding expo, and quickly new that Dev-it is creative, hard working, and amazing in so many ways. They always listened to our vision for the wedding ceremony and reception hall designs. The wedding ceremony, and especially the reception hall were decorated so well that it was like a dream come true. Our only critique is that timeliness was occasionally an issue, and it was at times difficult to communicate decoration and bouquet ideas through text, so it was nice when they invited us to see and discuss decorations in-person earlier on. Nonetheless, Dev-it made up for this with their flexibility and their willingness to go to great lengths, such as on wedding day when there was a miscommunication about who would provide the sparklers for the bride and groom exit, they sent someone to buy rice for guests to throw instead. They really wanted to make things right, and that's one of the very warm characteristics we love about them. They also had great suggestions whenever we needed insight, such as accent colors or how to create a list of events for the wedding. They met with us over the phone to iron out the details in a template they provided. We were able to give the list to other vendors to work with them too. It was a pleasure working with John and Patricia of Dev-it. We wanted Jamaican and Korean food for our reception to help meld our cultures together. John helped us find catering for most of our Jamaican food while two family members made vegan Jamaican dishes and the Korean food. John was willing to travel to restaurants, and went the extra mile when negotiating prices according to our needs. He even went shopping with us at Sam's Club and provided insight so that we could choose our own ingredients for the charcuterie boards and cups. Patricia absolutely outdid herself bringing to life the luxury messy teaparty theme we chose for our reception, the beautifully decorated arch and tufted chair for our outdoor photos, the flower arrangements, the lanterns and signs for the ceremony and along the outdoor walkway to the reception. She was also flexible with arranging the tables in our reception hall after discussing with the DJ about his needs. Everything looked absolutely fabulous! Originally, in the planning stage, we didn't know how or who would serve our guests at our reception, but Dev-it agreed to be our serving team because of our small guest list of 44. We're so glad they did! It was such a big help, and they are a hard working team. They were especially understanding when we expressed concerns about COVID for the reception seating and dinner service. They made sure to take the necessary safety precautions during food service and arranged how the tables were called to the buffet where they served each guest. When it came time for fun and all the work was done, we were more than delighted when they joined the dancefloor. We feel comfortable to say they're like family, and we're grateful to them for making our special day extra special. Overall, we highly recommend Dev-it Wedding and Events to anyone. In fact, one of our friends, is now using them to plan her wedding too!

Of all the investments that we made towards our wedding (and perhaps ever), Patricia was the best. We feel that this is the beginning of a lifelong friendship with her. Not only did she take the time to build rapport with us, but she was honest, dependable, consistently hard-working, and genuinely enthusiastic about playing a role in our wedding. My husband and I both had very demanding schedules, and she accommodated us effortlessly. She took a very active role from the beginning of our planning, notifying us what we needed to do and when. She reached out to vendors on our behalf, even defending us at one point when we were wrongly charged extra for something that was never mentioned in the contract. We also started our wedding planning very late (a few months before our wedding), and Patricia helped us worked through all the glitches and the stress that came with this. This business means more to her than meets the eye. She treated us as if we were part of her family, and it was evident that our wedding was very important to her. She worked with us and our budget, making sure everything was as beautiful and elegant as possible while acknowledging if a given item or decoration didn’t provide value matching the cost. If I had to do my wedding all over again, the only thing I would change is hiring her sooner than I did. I was able to be open up with her, share my ideas and thoughts without any worry that she would react negatively or defensively. She was very selfless in her pursuit of a wonderful wedding for us, and we will forever be grateful. She also has great taste in decoration and pursued the romantic, elegant, timeless style that we were looking for. I don’t think we could have pulled off this beautiful day without her. If you are planning your wedding, do NOT hesitate to hire Patricia. Truly. I promise you will be happy you did.
