The wedding was gorgeous, my husband and I had so much fun and we left the event feeling as if nothing could have gone more right.
Jennifer and I had a conversation after the wedding had been over for a week or so, following a negative review I had made that is now removed. We talked about how some comments from her don’t always land quite right and that she can be a little intense and direct sometimes but those are also the skills that lend her to be good at what she does. Bourbon and Blush had gone above and beyond to provide service not quite defined in our contract, which was appreciated and helpful. Certain things were clunky about the planning process but we did get there and the day went off without a hitch.
Rosie, who works with Jennifer, was the most warm and kind person and I was thankful to have her nearby during the entire event.
If you are considering hiring Jennifer and Bourbon and Blush, know that she will pour her whole heart into the process and do whatever it takes to make you feel like the event is in good hands. She will be direct, pointed, and intense but if you are someone who needs someone who lives and dies by this work - Jennifer is a great option. I’m thankful for the help and direction received during our planning process but I don’t think our personalities mixed well enough for us to commit a second time, should there be another opportunity.

I wasn't sure if I needed a planner, but really glad we got Jennifer's help! You think that wedding planning is all fun and games, but boy is it a lot of work! I hired Jennifer as our Day of Coordinator after speaking to her on the phone. She is very knowledgeable and has lots of tips for making the wedding day beautiful and run smoothly. She’s worked with many of the wedding vendors in the Tampa Bay Area and was able to give her recommendations based on the vibe of the wedding. She also has discounts with some of the vendors.
She offers a wedding planning app, that she is able to access - that helps with budget, guests list, visual boards, vendors, etc. This tool was really helpful throughout and kept us on track with payments and timeline.
As I said earlier, our wedding day was perfect. Jennifer connected with all the vendors and gave them all the timeline of the events. One of the trickiest parts of our wedding is that we had our ceremony and reception in the same venue, so that involved a room flip. She made this look effortless. One of her main things is that she wants everyone to enjoy the wedding and not have to worry about anything else. She is amazing!

There aren't words to sufficiently describe how amazing a job Jennifer did for our wedding; none of it would have been possible (not to mention enjoyable!) without her. I am definitely a type A personality and have a hard time relinquishing control to anyone else, but I have to say she is the only one I could entrust with all tasks related to our wedding day and I was fully confident knowing she had everything (and everyone!) totally handled. From the first day I met with her, I literally went from crying the night before, to smiling ear to ear by the time my fiance arrived at the meeting. Even he said, "I don't know what happened in there, but she's worth her weight in gold just to have this stress off your shoulders!"
We had the most exquisite wedding at the Salvador Dali museum, but had to bring in every single vendor, which involved a LOT of moving parts. On top of that, Jennifer helped come up with the design concept for what ended up being a highly stylized wedding, so there were a zillion details to keep track of...and she did it for me so I was able to enjoy it. Every time I sent her an email or a text questioning if something had been done she was already two steps ahead of me. I can't tell you what a relief that was and how much confidence in gave me to relinquish that stress to someone else so I could enjoy the process.
She was invaluable in her recommendations for vendors, and that she already had established relationships with top-of-the-line people made me feel so much better. It made everything SO easy!!! She was my one go-to person and handled all the direct communication with vendors; it really streamlined the whole process. Even the few hiccups we did run into, Jennifer tried to handle them and/or come up with solutions before she ever came to me about them in order to minimize my stress!
The wedding day itself was a breeze. I literally didn't have to do a thing besides get dressed and show up. We did a first look at the museum, and she was there the whole time managing vendors and set up, and long after we left cleaning up. She even returned any necessary items to vendors and donated our flowers for me!!
I can't recommend Jennifer highly enough for any and all planning services. She was priceless to me. She not only helped me design and plan the wedding of my dreams...she was the reason I could enjoy it. Thank you Jennifer!!!
